Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine vial. Photo: Reuters. The European Commission, on May 28, approved the use of the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer and its partner BioNTech for children 12 years of age and older, paving the way for the implementation of vaccinations for children of all ages. widely within the bloc, after similar decisions were made by the US and Canada. The decision came after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) advocated the use of the vaccine in children aged 12 to 15 years earlier. This vaccine has been used in the European Union for people 16 years of age and older. For the 12-15 age group, the two doses of the vaccine are also given at least three weeks apart, as with adults, the EMA said. According to the EMA, each EU country will decide whether and when to provide the vaccine to adolescents. While awaiting the decision of the EMA, on May 27, Germany outlined a plan to provide vaccines for children from 12 years old from June 7. Italy also said that it is preparing to expand its Covid-19 vaccination campaign to people over 12 years old. Immunizing children and adolescents is seen as an important step towards achieving “herd immunity” and taming the pandemic. On May 28, Japan also joined other countries that decided to give the Pfizer vaccine to children as young as 12 years old. Since March, Pfizer and Biontech have released trial data showing that their Covid-19 vaccine is 100% effective in protecting against infectious disease in a trial of 2,260 adolescents aged 12 to 15 years. .

Visitors come to Tam Coc (Ninh Binh) during the middle of May, when Tam Coc fields are entering the ripe rice season – the most beautiful season of the year. With views from above, Tam Coc fields will bring visitors and the photography community amazingly beautiful pictures.

According to Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Director of Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Information Center, Tam Coc field is one of the most beautiful fields in the Northern Delta region with views from above. Therefore, from 2018 until now, every middle of May, Ninh Binh tourism organizes Ninh Binh Tourism Week, taking the yellow color of Tam Coc as the theme to attract tourists to Ninh Binh, enjoy the outstanding features and values of local tourism resources, especially of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage – Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. Ninh Binh tourism week “Golden colors of Tam Coc – Trang An” this year has many activities organized, including the photo tour program “Photo Tour – Tam Coc golden season”. Through the photo contest, Ninh Binh has more excellent works to promote domestically and internationally. In order to ensure the safety of artists and tourists taking photos during Ninh Binh Tourism Week, the Organizing Committee had previously had many visits to survey rice fields, an ideal photo spot to install ladders for the ” manipulator” easily occupied the high point on the mountain. According to the experience of the “managers” and the Organizing Committee, Ninh Binh currently has 4 most beautiful places to take photos from above, including the top of Ca cave taken in, the top of Trai Bo mountain taken out, and the top of Key Voi mountain taken horizontally. and shoot down from the top of Hang Mua mountain. Particularly with the view from the top of Mua cave, visitors will get two ripe rice fields with different colors. Because rice in the fields of Tam Coc and Ngo Dong River is planted with short-term varieties to avoid floods, the rice has begun to ripen in mid-May. As for the rice in the field on the side of Hang Mua tourist area, it is a long-term variety, so the harvest season will not come until June. The moment to get the best photos is the period from 9-11am, because if you come too early, it is still foggy and there are few boats on the river. If it’s late, the sun will shine, and the image will lack blocks to enhance the contours of the field. For those who are healthy and passionate about photography, they often choose the most beautiful locations on the tops of the mountains to take a panoramic view of the peaceful Ngo Dong River winding between the golden colors of the ripe rice fields. , the farmers are busy harvesting rice with happy laughter and small boats full of golden rice. All of these things have created beautiful pictures in Tam Coc’s golden season. In order to protect the clean and beautiful natural landscape, environmental protection in Tam Coc tourist area in particular and Ninh Binh in general is of great interest to the authorities and people. Through practical exchanges with the boatmen here, they say that every year they hear explanations about the meaning of protecting the clean and beautiful ecological environment and the safe and friendly social environment. The people here are aware that, protecting the natural environment will preserve the beauty of resources and landscapes in a sustainable way, contributing to the development of local tourism, creating jobs and creating jobs. create stable, long-term income. The safe and friendly social environment will make a good impression on visitors, making many people want to return to Ninh Binh and introduce others to Ninh Binh tourism. Therefore, the local people are very proud of the scenery here, often reminding each other to protect the environment, protect the landscape and the good cultural values of the ancient capital.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, in the next 3 days, the maximum UV index of the central provinces and the South will remain at a very high risk of harm. Meanwhile, the Northern provinces and cities have the maximum UV index at the high risk threshold.
 What is ultraviolet rays?

Ultraviolet rays, also known as ultraviolet rays, are rays emitted by the sun whose wavelengths are shorter than visible light and longer than X rays, the wavelengths of UV rays from 10nm to 380nm. Related to human health and based on the UV wavelength are divided into 3 categories: UVA: Wavelength from 380 to 315 nm; UVB: Wavelengths from 315 to 280 nm: UVB rays stimulate the metabolism of Melanin (skin pigmentation), making the skin dark and dull; UVC: Wavelength In addition to the ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun, there are also artificial ultraviolet rays such as those emitted by welding machines, from devices such as computers, phones, and televisions. According to BS. Dang Bich Diep – Stem Cell Research and Application Department, Central Dermatology Hospital said, too much exposure to sunlight will cause sunburns, eye damage such as cataracts, skin aging, If prolonged exposure, accumulation may cause skin cancer. According to BS. Diep, the ultraviolet index or the UV index (ultraviolet rays) is a measure of the intensity of ultraviolet radiation from the sun at a particular place on a particular day. The publication of this index will help people protect against UV rays, as too much exposure to sunlight will cause sunburns, eye damage such as cataracts, skin aging, if prolonged exposure. Long accumulation can cause skin cancer. The most common acute harm to UV ears is sunburn from short-term overexposure, doctors say. In particular, when the peak heat is hot it can cause heatstroke or heatstroke, affecting health. Accumulated UV exposure, or frequent and prolonged exposure to high UV rays, can lead to premature skin aging, especially skin cancer. The time of day that UV rays most easily affect the skin range from 10 to 16 hours depending on the season and region. So, to determine the dangerous UV index by standing in the sun and observing your shadow, if the shade is shorter than the height, it corresponds to the high UV index, now should use sun protection measures. . What to do to limit ultraviolet rays? At this time of prolonged hot weather, BS. Diep recommends that people take proactive measures to protect their bodies from UV damage such as: limiting peak sun exposure (shadow observation rule).

Results of the labor force survey in the first quarter of 2021 showed that there were 9.1 million workers aged 15 years and over affected by the COVID-19 epidemic nationwide. The proportion of workers with informal jobs and underemployed workers both increased compared to the previous quarter and the same period of 2020. The most notable highlight of the labor market is the increase in income from the work of people. employees against the previous quarter and the same period of 2020.
On the morning of April 16, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office held a press conference on the labor and employment situation in the first quarter of 2021. The press conference also connected online bridge points at 63 statistical offices of provinces, cities and 1 the international expert’s bridge point in Bangkok, Thailand. Deputy Director General of the General Statistics Office Pham Quang Vinh chaired the press conference.

The scene of the press conference at the main bridge point in Hanoi (Photo: HNV)

At the press conference, Mr. Pham Hoai Nam, Director of the Department of Population and Labor Statistics gave a brief report on our country’s labor and employment situation in the first quarter of 2021. Accordingly, it is confirmed that, in the first quarter of 2021, the Vietnamese labor market has suffered bad effects due to the 3rd outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The results of the labor market survey in the first quarter of 2021 recorded that the number of people participating in the labor market decreased compared to the previous quarter and compared to the same period in 2020. In the first quarter of 2021, the country had 9.1 million employees from 15 years of age and older are affected by COVID-19 outbreaks. The proportion of workers with informal jobs and underemployed workers both increased compared to the previous quarter and the same period of 2020. The most notable highlight of the labor market is the increase in income from the work of people. employees against the previous quarter and the same period of 2020.

Specifically, the labor force decreased compared to the previous quarter and the same period of 2020, the rate of trained labor increased, reaching 26.0%. The labor force aged 15 and over in the first quarter of 2021 was 51 million people, down from the previous quarter and the same period of 2020. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic just before the Lunar New Year had changed. The uptrend is often seen compared to the same period of previous years. Normally, following population growth, the workforce in the following year always increases compared to the same period last year. However, the labor force in the first quarter of 2021 was nearly 200,000 people lower than the same period last year and about 600,000 lower than the same period when there was no epidemic (in 2019).

Video about employment situation in the first quarter of 2021 (Source: GSO)

The labor force participation rate in the first quarter of 2021 was estimated at 68.7%, down 1.6 percentage points from the previous quarter and 1.1 percentage points lower than the same period in 2020. The participation rate The labor force in urban areas is 66.7%, while that in rural areas is 69.9%. In terms of age groups, the labor force participation rate in urban areas is lower than in rural areas for most age groups, with the largest difference being observed in the age group 15-24 (urban : 41.2%; Rural: 48.0%) and group from 55 years old (urban: 35.0%; rural: 47.9%). This shows that people in rural areas enter the labor market earlier and leave the market much later than in urban areas; This is a typical feature of the labor market with a high proportion of the labor structure participating in the agricultural sector.

The rate of trained workers with diplomas and certificates from elementary or higher in the first quarter of 2021 is 26%, higher than that of the previous quarter and the same period of 2020. The rate of trained workers among urban areas and rural areas still have considerable disparities. This rate in urban areas reached 40.7%, 2.3 times higher than in rural areas (17.8%).

Out of a total of 23.2 million people aged 15 and over who did not participate in the labor market (outside the labor force) in the first quarter of 2021, 60.8% were in rural areas; they are mainly of school age and retirement.

The 3rd outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic reduced the labor market recovery achieved in the last 2 quarters of 2020. Out of a total of 49.9 million employed, service sector accounted for the largest proportion with 39.5%, equivalent to 19.7 million people, followed by workers in the industry and construction sector, accounting for 32.3%, equivalent to 16.1 million people. . Labor in agriculture, forestry and fishery accounts for the lowest proportion, 28.2%, equivalent to 14.1 million people.

International expert from Bangkok bridge point, Thailand informed at the press conference (Photo: HNV)

In this first quarter, the number of people with informal jobs was 20.7 million, a decrease of 251.7 thousand people against the previous quarter and an increase of 525.4 thousand people over the same period of 2020. Rate of workers with non-employment jobs. Officially the first quarter of 2021 is 57.1%, up 1.1 percentage points from the previous quarter and 1.8 percentage points compared to the same period in 2020. This rate increases highly in rural areas and among women. gender.

The COVID-19 epidemic broke out for the third time just before and during the Lunar New Year, significantly increasing the number of underemployed workers compared to the previous quarter and the same period of 2020. The number of underemployed workers in working age quarter I 971.4 thousand people; an increase of 143.2 thousand people against the previous quarter and an increase of 78.7 thousand people over the same period in 2020. The number of unemployed people in working age in the first quarter was nearly 1.1 million people, a decrease of 137.0 thousand people against the previous quarter and increase 12.1 thousand people compared to the same period of 2020.

However, a remarkable highlight is that, the average monthly income of employees in the first quarter of 2021 reached 6.3 million dong, an increase of 339 thousand dong over the previous quarter and an increase of 106 thousand dong over the same period in 2020. In the first quarter of 2021 over the same period of 2020, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector recorded the highest average income growth rate, up 5.2%; the service sector had the growth rate of 1.5% and the industry and construction sector had the lowest average income growth rate, up 0.8%. In particular, the monthly average income of wage and salaried workers in the first quarter of 2021 reached 7.2 million VND, an increase of 556 thousand VND against the previous quarter and 132 thousand VND over the same period of 2020.

Slide show an overview of the new statistical way (Photo: HNV)

In the framework of the press conference, Ms. Valentina Baccuci, Deputy General Director of ILO Vietnam expressed her pleasure because today’s press conference marks a special milestone of the General Statistics Office of Vietnam in particular and the Vietnamese statistics industry. Men in general have applied the latest international standard adopted in 2013 and are one of the 10 countries selected to pilot using this new standard in labor and employment statistics, helping to meet monitoring requirements. Labor efficiency in the new context contributes to help Vietnam achieve strategic goals in the future. “The new standard is very complex and demanding for statistics, from 2015-2017 was piloted in Vietnam and 2019-2020 started to collect in both old and new ways and continuously adjusted towards Reasonable effects to be officially announced today. Our ILO has been supporting the General Statistics Office continuously since 2017 and can be sure that the data published today is indeed recognized to meet the new international standard. Of course, no LFS is perfect, but this is also a clear testament to the determination to pursue data standardization by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam in particular and the Government of Vietnam in general. The ILO pledged to continue to accompany the General Department and the Government in that journey ”- said Ms. Valentina.

Sharing the same point of view, from the Bangkok bridge point in Thailand, Mr. Tite Habiyakare, an expert on labor statistics, ILO Asia-Pacific Regional Office emphasized the change in statistical criteria due to the drastic changes. of the new socio-economic period, changing the definition of labor and employment as well as understanding new aspects of employment in generating income, an important measure in the survey of statistics in the new standard./ .

From the first quarter of 2021, the General Statistics Office officially announced the statistics on labor and employment based on ICLS 19 standard. Moreover, to fully assess the volatility of the labor market over time. Time, the General Department will concurrently calculate and publish again the labor and employment statistics indicators according to ICLS 19 standards of the quarters from 2019 to now as a basis for comparison. Information on workers in self-employed jobs in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector are also recorded and disclosed.

KTS AD + studio offered a solution to divide the SHIFT houses into two parts by height, pushing back the upper architectural block.

KTS AD + studio said that when receiving the project, the architect realized many disadvantages in the construction context. First, the project is located on the ramp that connects two major roads in the area and has no setback space.

Second, the three sides around the house are obscured by neighboring houses with an average height of three stories. The third is to ask the landlord to wish to arrange multiple private rooms for a family of five in limited space of 36 m².

The architect has overcome the limitation of the location of the project to ensure there is a separate function room for a family of five.

With a high usage density of 10 main spaces including five bedrooms and a number of extra spaces just arranged around the traffic axis.

First, KTS AD + studio offers a solution to divide the building into two parts by height, pushing back the upper architectural block backwards.

This setback will change the elevation of the front façade, the rear part not visible from the street, keeping the house in the neighborhood proportionally.

The recoil of the above volume also increases the natural contact area for the stratosphere, optimally exploiting the light from the east façade.

The architect pushed back the upper architectural block to the back of the house.

With a fairly narrow area, the architect designed a medium-sized kitchen that is arranged on the ground floor, enough for family use.

Functional space is pushed back.

The space in front of the house is planted with many trees.

Next, two floors are arranged in the middle and the end of the building. The rear floor is almost just the ventilation road, which helps to correct the angular ground. The main floor in the middle is only allowed to occupy a small area out of a total of 36 m² of floor area.

The SHIFT concept of functional space towards the East of the architect will create an oblique space, maximizing sunlight for the kitchen and dining area in the morning. This is the most active time of the day.

This procedure is also used for the rear floor clearance, increasing ventilation efficiency, taking in light, and at the same time unifying an overall architectural shape reaching forward.

Two floors are arranged in the middle and the bottom of the house.

A solution to compose the vertical space will not guarantee the intensity of the light, so the architect implements the concept of translating.

That is translating

The functional space faces east to create an oblique void, maximizing sunlight for the kitchen and dining area in the morning.

The stairs change flexibly according to the height and corresponding position between the floors, depending on the oblique direction of the floor pine core.

The ladder body and tread surface use a material that has partial light penetration, allowing light to creep in, creating a shadow effect on the surrounding surfaces.

Illustrations.

The above information was revealed by Alexander Shramchenko, Director General of the Russian Center for Science and Research Rezonans-N.

“The third Rezonans-N radar station will perform combat missions on Novaya Zemlya this May or June,” he said. And by the end of this year, we plan to put two more Rezonans-N stations into operation in the Arctic region – in Gremikha and Zapolyarnoye.”

According to Mr. Alexander Shramchenko, radar in Zapolyarnoye, about 30 km from the Russian-Norwegian border, will ensure “round-the-clock control over the airspace above the northern regions of Norway and Finland”.

Rezonans’ radars operate in ice and use the principle of wave resonance, allowing aircraft to be detected based on stealth technology and also supersonic targets flying at speeds of up to Mach 20.

At the same time, radar is capable of detecting targets and receiving targets on target 1,000 km (600 km) and a range of 1,200 km for ballistic targets, at altitudes of up to 100 km.

The first and second Rezonans-N stations were successfully operated near the towns of Shoina and Indiga.
