The “Mars Monkey” and the articles of that time are still on display at the museum of the Georgia State Bureau of Investigation. However, that night was different. They saw a strange creature, seemingly a dead alien… The incident was shocking, but the truth later made the public even more surprised. Strange creatures cause panic “Mars Monkey” once caused panic in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. On July 8, 1953, Sherley Brown and her teammates drove along the Bankhead Highway outside the town of Austell, Georgia, USA, patrolling as usual. When they came to a bend, they had to stop because a pickup truck stopped in the middle of the road, next to them were three men looking very excited and scared. When Brown got out of the car to find out what had happened, he learned it was two barbers named Ed Watters and Tom Wilson, and the other had a butcher’s shop named Arnold Payne. All three live in the town of Austell. They were excited, arguing with each other. After being reassured, they reported the incident. It turned out that this was not a murder as the two police officers initially thought. They said, while driving along a quiet country road and turning a bend, they saw a bright red flying saucer hovering over the asphalt. When they slowed down to take a closer look, they were surprised to see two strange creatures about 60 cm tall lurking in the bushes, then one rushed out in front of their truck and was hit, while the other one rushes onto the swooping flying object. The flying saucer then emitted a blue light and sped away into the night, shooting flames that blazed across the pavement. They also testified that when they stopped the car, they saw the strange creature lying dead on the road. Brown didn’t believe this, until they showed him evidence that the highway pavement was indeed melted to a very high temperature and still had a strange creature on it. Brown noticed that the animal had no hair, pale body, contorted head and large round eyes. It looked disgusting and clearly out of this world, so Brown was forced to admit the three were telling the truth and immediately report the incident to headquarters. It didn’t take long for the story of UFOs and alien corpses to go viral. Soon after the police headquarters was reported, the Air Force and dozens of others claimed to have seen lights in the sky and strange creatures running back and forth that night. When the incident made headlines the next day with many images of the dead creature, many believed that there was an actual alien invasion. A local veterinarian, after examining the body of the strange creature, declared it “out of this world”, causing further panic among the public. The work of jokers The “Mars Monkey” and the articles published at the time are now on display at the museum of the Georgia State Bureau of Investigation. Not long after, the creature known as the “Mars monkey” was brought to Emory University, Atlanta to be examined by Dr. Herman Jones and Dr. Marion Hines, two professors of anatomy. And the result caused a stir in public opinion. It turns out that this is not a “Mars monkey” or an alien creature, but just an ordinary monkey, a rhesus monkey to be exact, which has been shaved and colorfully embellished to look. monstrous compared to reality. Three men who claimed to have run over the aliens then confessed that it was all a joke but didn’t expect it to get out of control. Accordingly, after stumbling upon a dead monkey, they brought it home to shave and cut off its tail, and then paint it with some green food coloring to increase the strangeness. After being satisfied with the “work”, they took it to the highway and used a torch to burn the asphalt to create circles like a melted UFO track. Even after these confessions were made public, it took a while for people to calm down and accept that they were tricked and that no aliens invaded. Meanwhile, the three jokers mentioned above were only convicted by the court of dumping animal carcasses causing unsanitary and obstructing highways, forcing them to pay a fine of 40 USD. After the trial, letters rushed to the local newspapers, demanding that these people be prosecuted before the law for cruelty to animals. Some even suggested shaving the head of the mastermind. However, a reader in Jacksonville, Florida wrote: “Don’t be too hard on these boys. They have done a meaningful job by making many people realize that they are still living in dark times of superstition and believing in unrealistic things.” Others said that the above incident proves that hoaxes with the inadvertent help of the media sometimes create an uproar. This happens all the time even in modern times, forcing us to stay awake and see strange things with the eyes of a difficult person. The incident that caused panic eventually subsided, and the “Mars monkey” was later owned by a small museum of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where it was displayed along with articles published in August. at that moment.

President Biden is expected to announce this information in his speech on June 10.

“I have a strategy and I will publish it.” Biden said when asked about the vaccine strategy for the world before boarding Air Force One to fly to the UK for the G-7 summit. The US will donate 500 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine to the world. (Photo: CNN) Sheet The Times said Mr Biden would appear alongside Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla to make the announcement. According to the AP , of these 500 million doses, 200 million doses will be shared this year. The rest will be donated in early 2022. Washington Post was the first newspaper to publish this information. Many newspapers later cited sources confirming the above information. The US is facing increasing pressure to draw up a plan to share vaccines with the world as its vaccine campaign is inching towards the finish line. Last week, the White House announced plans to allocate the first 25 million doses of the vaccine, with 19 million going to COVAX and 6 million to current COVID-19 hotspots including India. These vaccines are among the 80 million doses of vaccines the US has pledged to share with the world this month.

They are equipped with a series of modern technology, but the fate is extremely bleak. Since its announcement in 2007, the development of the MiG-35 has been relatively slow. Only in 2013, the Russian Air Force announced plans to buy a total of 37 of these aircraft. Up to now, a total of 14 MiG-35s have been produced, of which 6 are in the process of testing and 8 are in the mass standard. On the other hand, the RD-33 was never considered an excellent engine, They are quite fuel efficient and often emit black smoke trails. Previously, even the Russian Ministry of Defense also refused to order this fighter line, many sources also said that Russia was forced to buy MiG-35 to leverage the promotion and export of this aircraft. and most importantly, to save the plane maker Mikoyan from bankruptcy. Perhaps Mikoyan has to do more for the MiG-35 – because this is their only salvation at the moment – for this aircraft to become a ‘hot’ item similar to the Su-35, first of all. is the trust of the Russian air force itself, then the air forces of countries that have traditionally used Russian aircraft.

Russia tested the 53T6M interceptor bullet. Missile ammunition participating in the test is determined to be 53T6M currently in service with the Aerospace Force, performing the task of protecting against weapons attacking from the air and from space. The Department of Defense was last informed about tests of new missiles belonging to the anti-missile defense system at the Sary-Shagan arena in November 2020. There have been test launches that took place in October 2020, June and July 2019, February, July, August, December 2018, and November 2017. The 53T6M missile ammunition is an upgraded version of the Russian 53T6 missile ammunition deployed in the A-135 Amur system since the early 1980s. The new missile shell has a two-stage structure, uses solid fuel and is stored in a special storage tube. This type of mechanism allows to reduce the reaction time of the system and the missile can be used immediately in an emergency. According to publicly available information, the 53T6M missile is a part of Russia’s new A-235 Nudol missile defense system. The new 53T6M interceptor missile ammunition is the premise for the A-235 to replace the current A-135 system. Russia is developing and completing components of the A-235 interceptor missile system and ammunition. The difference of the new missile defense system compared to the A-135 Amur is that the components of the complex are placed on a special field vehicle chassis to increase maneuverability. Along with that, the new interceptor missile shell allows Nudol to intercept targets at the top of the Earth’s atmosphere. The A-235 Nudol system is equipped with the powerful Elbrus-3M supercomputer system for information processing. The interception capacity of the A-235 will be divided into three levels: 51T6 missile bullets will undertake the interception at a distance of 1,500 km and an altitude of 800km; missile 58R6 – 1,000km and 120km; Missile bullets 53T6M or 45T6 intercept the target at a distance of 350km and an altitude of 40-50km. All of them have the ability to carry nuclear warheads to enhance the enemy’s ability to destroy intercontinental ballistic missiles. According to military expert Dmitry Kornev, the introduction of the 53T6M missile ammunition by Russia is a completely normal move and does not affect the balance of the strategy. Technically, this is the line of pure weapons for the defense mission and the last line of defense to protect Moscow.

The test failed when the prototype of the hypersonic missile AGM-183A failed to detach from the mount on the B-52H. The Air Force said in a statement on April 6:

“The Air Force had a step back in progress with its supersonic missile program when the first test with a propulsion failed. The B-52H bomber took off on April 5 to launch the prototype AGM-183A, but the test bullet could not complete the launch procedure and was safely hung on the plane until it reached the Edwards base ” . Missile AGM-183A onboard B-52H aircraft. The test was to test the performance of the propulsion engine, as well as the detachability of the supersonic surfacing vehicle after the rocket engine stopped working. The warhead is designed to self-crumble shortly after being separated from the engine, helping to minimize the no-fly zone for ships and aircraft. The US Air Force has conducted seven test flights with the missile model AGM-183A to collect positioning data and flight parameters, test the ability to integrate missiles onto the B-52H launch platform and build procedures. commissioned for the first test shot. The AGM-183A hypersonic missile is also known as the “Aircraft Launched Rapid Reaction Weapon” (ARRW). This is one of the supersonic missile programs being developed for the US Air Force to close the gap in this field with Russian opponents. Especially according to the US Air Force’s statement, the AGM-183A possesses many advantages over the hypersonic missile Kinzhal of the Russian Air Force. The US side said that the parameters on Kinzhal of Russia are equivalent to the AGM-48 Skybolt (developed 60 years ago) of the US and far behind the current AGM-183A. The AGM-183A is superior to the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal in that it does not require the launcher to climb to very high altitudes and maintain Mach 2 as the Kinzhal’s speed and still easily reach design specifications. In particular, according to the US Department of Defense procurement advisor Will Roper, the AGM-183A has an impressive speed when it can reach a maximum of nearly Mach 20. It can be seen that the AGM-183A has a much faster speed than the Kinzhal when the Russian missile reaches just above Mach 10. Although not yet launched, but with the aforementioned parameters, the AGM-183A deserves to be considered a rival to Russia’s supersonic weapons today. But for the AGM-183A to enter service, it may take the Americans a long time. Meanwhile, Russia is ready to equip Kinzhal after successive trials of the weapon.

The US military transport aircraft C-130H Hercules

In order to strengthen the air force, the Polish Ministry of Defense announced that the country’s air force will receive five US Lockheed C-130H Hercules military transport aircraft and accompanying technical equipment.

An agreement between the US and Polish governments for the supply of five C-130H aircraft was signed on April 12, 2021.

This deal is delivered through a special partnership program. All five aircraft will be delivered to Poland this month.

The contract is worth $ 60 million, but Poland will pay only $ 14.3 million to the US side. With this money, it will not be enough for the Pentagon to maintain the annual maintenance, maintenance, repair, and replenishment of equipment, so the US military has considered the possibility of early handover to Poland. to reduce costs.

Currently, all five of these aircraft have been stored at the facilities of preservation group No. 309, on the payroll of the US Air Force located at Davis Montana Air Base in Arizona.

The US military transport aircraft C-130H Hercules

The C-130H aircraft that the United States intended to deliver to Poland were produced in 1985 and the US Air Force closed in 2017.

Poland chose 5 out of 20 proposed. The first Hercules will arrive in Poland in late 2021 and the last will be delivered in 2024.

C-130 Hercules aircraft has 4 propeller engines, wingspan of 40 m, length more than 29 m, height of nearly 12 m, can fly in all weather conditions, maximum flight speed is 370 km /H.

The Polish Air Force uses the aircraft, for missions such as military transport, paratroop deployment, reconnaissance, maritime patrol, aerial refueling and combat.

The C-130H Hercules aircraft will replace four C-130E aircraft operating in the Polish air force since the 1970s.

An H-6K off Taiwan in 2016.

On March 26, 20 Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLAAF) fighters departed from mainland China and approached Taiwan on two axes.

While most of Taiwan’s defense exploration aircraft were in the southwestern part of the island, four H-6K cruise missile bombers and one Y-8 support aircraft continued to fly towards Southeast through the Ba Si Strait separating Taiwan from the Philippines and then turns north, to an area in Taiwan’s eastern international airspace.

In other words, PLAAF bombers have surrounded Taiwan – a move that flyers Global Times China’s considered capable of deciding during wartime. “From that position, the PLA could not only attack military facilities on the eastern side of the island, but block the island completely.”

But it is far from concluded that the PLAAF can easily do this in combat. First, enemies – Taiwanese and American forces with missile batteries, air defense fighters and missile warships – must be taken into account.

Second, it is not clear whether PLAAF crews possess the skills and support necessary to reliably and safely fly thousands of kilometers across the vast Pacific Ocean.

Land combat was difficult. Air combat on the ocean is even more difficult. On the water, navigation, communication, and coordination – not to mention effective combat with an experienced, high-tech enemy – have been a big deal.

“Although the PLAAF is increasing the number of flights at sea, they acknowledge the challenges associated with training to fly in the far seas,” authors Kenneth Allen and Cristina Garafola wrote in a survey. newly funded by the US Air Force in terms of the history and organization of the Chinese Air Force.

Allen and Garafola cited a 2017 interview. Chinese pilots from the PLAAF’s Southern Command have discussed some of the issues their air force is trying to solve to improve their capabilities. combat ability in “far sea”.

Communication stories at the top of the list. “Due to limited communication measures during long-distance training, comprehensive support measures – including regular radars, command and air communications aircraft, naval ships and satellites communication – needs to be better integrated, ”writes Allen and Garafola.

They continued, “Compared to flying on land, training at sea is more likely to deviate from the designed flight path.” High-difficulty subjects related to offshore training pose new challenges to the technical and tactical abilities of many pilots. These subjects include attacking sea targets, aerial combat against different types of aircraft on land and water, aerial refueling and combat with enemy navies.

In particular, on physical challenges, flight times longer than four hours often lead to pilot fatigue.

Weather conditions during marine training are unpredictable – and gathering weather related data remains a challenge.

Long-distance search and rescue operations remain a challenging task for the PLAAF due to limited search and rescue equipment, low night vision and complex weather conditions. trash.

Long-distance flight training continues to challenge PLAAF’s maintenance assistance capabilities. Many incidents related to maritime cannot just take the option on land but apply it.

The PLAAF knows that they have water problems. “The high seas drills will become part of regular training,” said Dinh Lai Hang, a PLAAF lieutenant general, in 2017.

The PLAAF is “gradually expanding its long-distance training operations. Weapons, equipment, communications systems, supplies and aviation search and rescue skills have to keep up with mission requirements, ”added General Dinh.

The fact that the Chinese air force safely conducted sky missions near Taiwan in March could be a hint that its sea flight training efforts are beginning to succeed.

Of course, performing long-range, above-water missions in peacetime was one thing. Performing that task while someone is shooting at you is completely different.

According to Defense World, the US Air Force recently announced blueprints for a new fighter jet being developed under the “Next Generation Aviation Advantage” (NGAD) program, which includes including unmanned and manned fighters.

Design image of 6th generation fighter aircraft of the US Air Force. Source: Sina.

The image shows a triangular flying fighter and its aerial weapons on display as well. The configuration of this fighter is also very different from today’s fighters, the plane is relatively flat, triangular seen from above, has a pair of vertical V-shaped tails and the air intakes located above. fuselage.

The photo shows that this fighter jet has very highly modular characteristics, can quickly replace engines, landing frames … thereby reducing the load of logistics maintenance, missile pods inside. The aircraft is also equipped with a variety of missiles.

The NGAD program was originally proposed as a joint project of the US Air Force and Navy. Although there is still some joint cooperation between the two sides, each side has in turn set up independent offices to research and develop next-generation fighters.

From 2019 to 2025, the budget for the NGAD program of the US Air Force is 9 billion USD, of which the budget for the fiscal year 2021 is 1 billion USD and the budget of the fiscal year 2022 is 1.5 billion USD.

According to the report, the NGAD program aims to complement the F-22 and F-35 fighters, creating a system with multi-domain cognitive capabilities, flexible information and strong operational advantages. air raid attack. The program will apply digital technology to large-scale fabrication and replacement of small components.

This approach is based on the automotive industry’s digital transformation and uses models to solve design, assembly, maintenance and repair issues before, the Air Force said. build a physical system.

The US Air Force report did not specify the cost of the project to build the aircraft. However, the report mentions that a mysterious jet under the project was tested in 2020, and it is still unclear whether the plane is manned or not.

Concept art of a fighter in the NGAD project. Source: Sina.

“We have built and tested a new aircraft and broke all aircraft records,” said Will Roper, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for US logistics and technology equipment procurement. fight. We are now ready to build the next generation aircraft in an unprecedented way. “

Some previous reports suggested that the NGAD program plane will have an artificial intelligence co-pilot, maybe even the ARTU system (artificial intelligence system built by algorithm to play chess. ).

The artificial intelligence system will act as a support for true pilots, but the weakness of AI systems lies in their logic, while actual military actions may not obey this logic. Human presence is then required to make a decision in unusual, non-standard situations.

It is known that from March 2018, the US Air Force Laboratory has released the image of the next generation F / X aircraft, showing that this aircraft will have a stealth design, eye-catching appearance with laser. High energy capable of cutting enemy aircraft in half.

This is also the main aircraft in the NGAD program, also known as the Penetration Jet. The future F / X aircraft is expected to have longer range and payload, as well as the ability to carry hypersonic weapons.

Under the NGAD program, the US Air Force advocates to exploit advanced capabilities of the new generation of aircraft such as air combat systems linked to fighters, drones and networking platforms. . With the aim of increasing air superiority, the F / X fighter program offers significantly enhanced stealth and works closely in coordination with the drone.

Until now, all information about the capabilities of the F / X is still a military secret. If the program progresses at a rapid rate through streamlined processes and uses current technology, the new generation fighter could join the US Air Force earlier than expected in 2030. .

During the general offensive and rebellion in the spring of the Mau Than in 1968, in order to support the battlefield, the Command of the Air Defense – Air Force organized a number of flights to supply food and weapons to Tri Thien – Hue.

From a letter from a veteran

It is very dangerous to carry out this task for the flight crews, having to fly in the enemy’s control area at low altitudes to avoid detection radar, so it is easy to have accidents such as crashing into mountains or having fire. No, but the crew members were still determined to carry out the mission, they considered those flights as suicide flights. And in the end, 4 flights with 32 soldiers left without returning … But in the hearts of relatives and teammates, they were still alive.

One day at the beginning of June 2005, the Air Defense and Air Force Air Force received a letter to the Commander. The letter of Mr. Lai Van Vuong at 91 – Me Linh, Le Chan district (Hai Phong city). Mr. Vuong was formerly a soldier of Division 324 – for a long time he fought in the western part of Thua Thien – Hue. Mr. Vuong said that during his return visit to the old battlefield in May 2005 in A Luoi region (a mountainous district of Thua Thien-Hue province close to the Vietnam-Laos border) he happened to know a story about a The most likely plane of mine crashed in the woods near Hong Thuong commune. According to the Pa Ko ethnic people, when the plane crashed about 1965-1966 something, the body of the flight crew collected was buried in that forest by some ethnic minorities.

Mr. Vuong also said that at the house of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan in Hong Thuong commune, A Luoi district, he still retains some artifacts of the plane mentioned above. As for the graves, decades earlier, they were still at the old place in the cold wilderness, no one came to visit, nor did any gathering come to find and pick it up.

Mr. Vuong also carefully took some photos with his automatic machine, when he returned he made photos and sent 5 photos with the letter to add bases, including a photo of Mr. Toan standing beside the machine. fly at home. Mr. Vuong said that it is very likely that this is our plane that crashed in the war without anyone knowing.

He wrote the above letter in the hope that such information would help the Air Defense – Air Force verify and if true, it is possible to find out the name of the flight crew and bring them back to their homeland.

In 1968, after the 4 flight crews did not return, the Air Defense – Air Force sent an dispatch to all units, provinces and cities to request coordination in searching and informing help, looking forward to finding an whereabouts. The planes went missing, but the incident fell silent and there was no response.

The fact that the fighter pilot in distress in the war could not find the body still happens, but in this incident it was too special, within 5 days all four planes were missing, including 32 people and nearly tens of tons of goods. without leaving a trace, it is very rare. The comrades who participated in the flight crews that were recognized as martyrs but did not know exactly where they were sacrificed, a bone fragment for their relatives and teammates’ peace of mind is also hopeless. For nearly 40 years, the relatives of the martyrs are still living in agony.

After receiving the above letter, the Air Defense – Air Force has organized to check the records, review the history and make a judgment, if the information is correct, it is very likely that it is 1 in 4. IL-14 flight crew went missing in February 1968.

Immediately after that, the Air Defense Force – Air Force announced and coordinated with Flight Corps 919 – was the host unit of the flight crew that disappeared in 1968, now under the Vietnam Aviation Corporation to enter A Luoi body. smart facts. After two trips, finding the place where the plane crashed and the forest where the brothers were buried as well as working with the local authorities, on July 11, 2005, the special mission of the Army Corps No – The Air Force and Flight Team 919 set out to Thua Thien – Hue to search for some artifacts and bring the remains of the martyrs to burial. The mission included Mr. Le Xuan Duc – a former suicide pilot that fortunately returned that day; Mr. Luong Huu Thuan, former technician of aircraft IL-14, 2 policy officers of Division 919; Mr. Hung – policy assistant of the Air Defense – Air Force and me.

* * *

A Luoi district is located right next to the new Ho Chi Minh road. Thanks to the help of the district military command, we continued to go to Hong Thuong commune and Phu Vinh commune to ask for help. In the area, most of the people who participated directly in the burial of the flight crew in 1968 have died. As instructed in the letter of Mr. Lai Van Vuong to the Air Defense – Air Force, we went to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan’s house. Thankfully, the clue has been found from here.

It is a Pa Ko family, despite having been involved in the communal work for a long time, but his voice and his family members are still dialects, so it is difficult for us to reach and find. understand the matter. Theo Toàn said: “At that time around 7 pm, I saw an airplane flying up from the direction of Hue city, after a while a very loud explosion rang out in the woods, then fragments of the plane splashed. to the place where my family lives “.

Mr. Toan’s house at that time was evacuated into the forest, right near the place where the incident happened. After that, he and some villagers came to the scene and found the plane wreckage a little flying everywhere, some weapons such as K54, AK rifles and most grenades with their entire box intact. The next morning, everyone told each other to search and found some parts of the pilot’s body scattered around unknown people, his liver and hair stuck on the forest trees, Toan had to climb up and down. He remembers a patch of hair that is a dull and slightly long color.

After that, Mr. Toan, together with a man named Bo Hieng and several others, organized a burial of what he found. On a wing nearly 3 meters long, nearly 1 meter wide in Mr. Toan’s family, Mr. Luong Huu Thuan found all 13 bullet marks. This piece of wing was taken by Mr. Toan, years ago it was used as a bed. Later it was used as a table, standing on 4 wooden legs beside a tree near the kitchen, his family still used to … chopping vegetables and pigs. There are also some other artifacts of the plane such as the military medical medicine cabinet equipped on the plane that still has the red color of the painted cross on the lid of the box, a battery container used by his family to hold clothes but gave her daughter a “dowry” when she got married in the next commune …

However, based on the artifacts, it is difficult to determine which of the four suicide crews did not return because the witnesses did not remember the date and month of the incident. Mr. Le Xuan Duc, the head of the search team, said that based on the narrative and some objects found, it is very likely that this is an IL-14 aircraft, bearing number 506 by pilot Pham Ke. At 17:00 on February 7, 1968 because in this crew, Nguyen Van Te, whose head was bald, often kept his hair long and then stroked his bald part, so it was quite consistent with Toan’s account that there was a patch of head. Long hair is dark, and the fact that hair color shows that in plane crashes, hair color change of the pilot and crew is common, there is a case of the pilot with dark hair, but when recovering the body, many The plate has become silvery white. However, that is just a prediction. At the end of the meeting with Mr. Toan’s family, we asked Mr. Toan and some local young people the next day to put him in the place where the plane crashed.

The next morning, we were at the gathering point on Ho Chi Minh Street in Phu Vinh Commune. Local youths were also present. Let’s go. We waded through many streams, crept in the trees, though carefully applied insect repellent, but after a while, I lifted up my legs and saw a few of them clinging to the calf to suck blood.

The local young people went ahead, cut down trees to open the way, they brought tools to search for the remains. Two hours of walking through the woods, when my feet hardly want to step anymore, it’s time to arrive. The place where the plane crashed was a high ridge, steep slope, so the aircraft’s parts were also widely dispersed: under the stream was the “stop” of the engine, mortar; Scattered from the top down the stream were pieces of parachute that had not been decomposed yet; by the rocky cavities and on some of the trees, there were still parachutes left; Scattered here and there were pieces of plastic with Russian words on it, a pestle grenade was left.

On the plane tire, the ethnic minorities have cut them all to make rubber sandals, only a little rubber is left close to the iron rim. Through what was left at the scene, Mr. Duc confirmed that this was the flight crew of pilot Pham Ke, because around the area the plane fell, there were still large parachutes to drop scattered cargo that has not been decomposed. Mr. Ke’s team is responsible for parachuting goods and weapons, so it needs a lot of parachutes). Deep below the stream bed are two new “acupuncture points” that are digged by scrap seekers for motives for sale, leaving the crater wide open.

Nguyen Van Hai, a young PaKo ethnic youth in Phu Vinh commune, who we asked to join the search team told, that last month he dug this tuocbin with dozens of bullets, all of which was more than 2 weights. sold to junk goods for more than 200 thousand dong. People of the local ethnic group pick up gold and dig for the parts that can be taken away; there remains large areas, recently a number of people in other places brought small saws away, up to now, large parts of steel and steel aircraft have been “paid” cleanly.

Looking ahead and looking after a while, repositioning the terrain according to memory, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan led the mission to the burial position. Only an empty lot, no old trees, but only wild trees, he nodded in motion. Two officers of Division 919 fell through the tree, creating a void, spreading out a piece of green plastic. A cardboard box is turned upside down and spread paper on to make a table, fruits and offerings are displayed.

Mr. Le Xuan Duc lit incense and bowed to him: “Dear souls in the martyrs’ nest of the Mau Than spring, I am Le Xuan Duc, this is your comrade. For the past 40 years, we and our unit have been searching for you and still have no credit. Now, thanks to our relatives, we can only help you to come here, hope you will pardon. You live a life of wisdom and death, let us meet, to bring you back to your family, with your teammates and your homeland … ”. After doing the spiritual procedures, the group proceeded to dig. About 20 minutes later, they found a round plastic wrap about 70 cm deep from the ground.

Mr. Toan confirmed that this is the wrap that he and the people buried in the past. However, when the cover was opened, only a few pieces of the umbrella and black earth remained, and everything was gone. Under theses when it appeared a pilot’s headset, sometimes a small piece of an airplane part had Russian words, sometimes a box of oil … Fifteen minutes later, under the shy of a young man, another bundle was revealed. People were gathered nervously, the soil was gently dug around, the plastic wrap gradually revealed. Mr. Duc’s hands trembled and held the blue bundle to the ground.

The wrap is carefully cut the lanyard and the plastic has been frozen, layer by layer opened. All embracing a silence. I feel that every single leaf of the Annamite forest tree is motionless. Without a breeze, only the rustle of the plastic was removed. Everyone in the delegation was almost dumbfounded when suddenly appeared two arm-length bones when everything was almost hopeless. These are two arm bones.

The search team together with the local youth continued to dig, but to no avail, Toan also confirmed that it was over. So the entire skeleton of 8 people flying together is only that much. The two bones and all found artifacts are divided into 8 parts, plastic pieces and parachutes … 8 symbolic remains covered with red cloth, lined up horizontally. Mr. Duc lit a big bunch of incense and put up the smoke of incense, green smoke curling among the green.

The whole working group stood seriously and bowed in silence. Mr. Duc expressed his thanks to the martyrs. At that moment, holding incense in front of 8 parts of the corpse suddenly burst into flames … Truong Son sunburst, drops of sunlight streaming through the tree canopy shone on 8 red cloths neatly before the incense smoke.

Upon returning to A Luoi, according to Hai’s instructions, we found a scrap collection point located in the town, and indeed saw some parts of the aircraft. Mr. Le Xuan Duc realized that a part of the IL-14’s engine and governor were mixed in the scrap of various types. The owner said that he bought the above objects for 700 VND 1 kg, if needed to buy it again … price 3,000 / kg. Mr. Duc was sitting down slowly, fiddling with the tuocbin leaves of the engine. I looked at the scrap that were parts of the suicide flight crew IL-14, looked at Mr. Duc, and felt deeply moved.

The J-11B fighter today became a mainstay of China’s heavy fighter squadron and is considered one of the fourth-generation fighters capable of serving the best in both air-to-air and attack capabilities.

More than 200 J-11B fighters are currently in service with the Chinese Air Force, including 70 in the Navy and about 140 in the country’s Air Force.

The design of the J-11B fighter was based on the Soviet Su-27 Flanker airframe, and the Su-27 was rated as the best combat aircraft of the Cold War era.

At that time the Chinese Air Force was equipped with older and increasingly out-of-the-way fighters, losing its serious advantage against Japanese F-15 fighters in the region.

The Su-27 is equipped with the R-73 short-range air-to-air missile, as well as the R-27 long-range missile with a range more than twice as long as any previous missile in Chinese payroll.

China quickly copied the Su-27 to create its own fighter, the J-11, and was generally similar to the Su-27 in the Russian Air Force. China then began a program to develop more capable heavy fighters and launched the J-11B.

Ten years after the first Su-27s were delivered, the first simulation of the J-11B was revealed in 2002 by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation.

The aircraft used more composite material, an area where China overtook Russia at this time, making the airframe both lighter and more durable, while improving flight performance due to its lower weight.

New electronic combat systems and sensors were also integrated, including the Chinese-designed Type 1493 pulsed doppler radar and a significantly more powerful IRST system than the already formidable Soviet N001E radar. According to the report, the new radar can detect medium fighters at a range of about 150-170km and surface warships at about 350km.

The new aviation electronics and sensors also allowed J-11B fighters to operate much more efficiently in air and sea attack roles than su-27s, an example of the ability to carry accurate bombs and guided missiles against enemy targets.

The J-11B also replaced the R-27 semi-active radar-guided air-to-air missile with a native PL-12 missile, which had active guidance radar that allowed the aircraft to strike more targets simultaneously and provided the ability to “shoot and forget” against enemy aircraft.

This puts the J-11B on par with the latest U.S. competitors in terms of firepower, American fighters in the 2000s began using AIM-120C missiles with active radar guidance and a similar range of about 100km.

China’s fourth-generation fighter will greatly improve its combat capabilities over the next decade, with J-16 fighters also based on the Su-27 Flanker design being entered service since 2013 and boasting the first AESA radar built into the fighter.

The J-16 is more capable than the J-11B in both air-to-air and attack roles, not only due to modern radar but also by stealth coatings, electronic combat systems, weapons, and aviation electronics including helmet-mounted sights. In addition, the PL-15 missile of the fighter has an estimated range of about 250-300km.

The J-11 would then continue to be improved to upgrade to a level closer to the J-16, with the J-11BG version integrating an AESA radar believed to be based on the J-16’s radar as well as new aviation electronics. These allowed the aircraft to use PL-15 and PL-10 air-to-air missiles.

It is unclear whether the J-11D will be produced in the same number of more than 200 as the J-11B, or how many J-11Bs will be upgraded to the J-11BG standard. However, China will continue to develop new technologies for the fifth, sixth and J-11 fighters that will continue to be improved to have power on par with the world’s leading aircraft.
