Photo: VGP / Nhat Bac </em> Joining the high-level delegation of Vietnam were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son; Minister, Head of Government Office Tran Van Son; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung; Deputy Director of Government Office Nguyen Xuan Thanh; Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong; Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Pham Vinh Quang; Ambassador, Head of the Delegation to Permanent Representative of Vietnam to ASEAN Nguyen Hai Bang. At the invitation of the President of ASEAN 2021, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led the high-level delegation of Vietnam to attend the ASEAN Leaders&#8217; Meeting at the headquarters of the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta, Indonesia April 23-24, 2021. Photo: VGP / Nhat Bac </em> This is the first foreign business trip in the new position of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, affirming Vietnam&#8217;s priority is to tighten and strengthen solidarity and mutual assistance with ASEAN member countries, contributing to enhance ASEAN&#8217;s central role and position in solving emerging challenges, thereby creating a peaceful and favorable environment for sustainable development of each country and the region. The trip also affirmed that Vietnam made a positive contribution to the ASEAN Community building process, continuing the results achieved in the ASEAN 2020 Chairperson of Vietnam; affirms Vietnam&#8217;s commitment, responsibility, and active and active contribution to regional and international issues.</p>
