Ria this announcement was a speech by Yuri Ushakov, President Vladimir Putin’s Foreign Policy Advisor. Mr Ushakov invited the US ambassador to Moscow to speak after the April 13 phone call between Mr Putin and US President Joe Biden.

The Kremlin today said it was still early to talk about the conditions for being able to hold a meeting between President Putin and his US ally, as proposed by the US leader.

In yesterday’s phone call, Mr Biden proposed meeting for a summit to resolve a series of conflicts between the two sides. But the Kremlin says it will study the proposal.
