The ‘extreme’ display of Vietnamese stars when going to the street like going to the market, taking out the trash or eating duck eggs makes fans excited.
Recently, Miss Do Thi Ha attracted the attention of the audience when appearing in the show “Eat and tell” with MC Dai Nghia. However, what makes netizens stir is the dress style of the beautiful Miss Vietnam 2020.

Participating in the show, Do Thi Ha wore a full set of tweed clothes with a bow tie shirt. The luxurious “fog” dressing of Miss Hau is said to be suitable for the context of the office, going out for the weekend. When participating in the show, the place she appeared was at Ben Thanh market. This was originally a people’s market, the fact that Do Thi Ha was dressed quite “hard” was commented by netizens as out of place, not suitable for the context. While MC Dai Nghia and singer Trinh Thang Binh wore the simplest clothes, the queen looked out of place because she dressed in the wrong place. Many fans believe that Miss and her crew should review the costumes before participating in the event or program. With the context of a popular market like this, she only needed to wear jeans and a T-shirt to simply score points in the eyes of fans. Before that, Miss Luong Thuy Linh attracted attention when she wore a see-through crop top and announced that she was going to buy vegetables. Ngoc Trinh and Dieu Nhi once shocked when making tik tok clips on gorgeous clothes like going to an event. However, in fact, the two girls just went to eat duck eggs. Miss Khanh Van also made a tik tok clip to dress luxuriously, wear a crown to go… dump the trash. Nha Phuong dressed up as “fog” to go to the market and was secretly photographed by fans. Thuy Ngan dressed simply wearing a mask to go to the market. However, many fans still recognize the famous actress.

The hundred-year-old driftwood stumps were picked up from the bottom of the Tien River and used by Western giants for sculptors into extremely unique and precious works.
Western giants own “treasures” picked up from the bottom of the Tien River

The old driftwood was picked up from the bottom of the Tien River, over time and eroded by water, people can no longer distinguish what kind of tree they are, so they call them driftwood. The hundred-year-old driftwood roots were “enchanted” by Mr. Nguyen Van Nghiep (43 years old, living in Cho Moi district, An Giang), sculpted into a unique collection in the West. After being salvaged, the driftwood stumps were created by craftsmen into beautiful works (Photo: Thien Chi) Currently, he owns nearly 40 artworks of “terrible” size, including: two sets of 12 zodiac animals, Buddha statue, rockery, 24.5m long painting, house full of driftwood, 3D painting table. , tables and chairs… The sculptures are very lively and soulful as if they were telling stories of time. Unique, nearly 200-year-old t-shirt craft in Ha Tinh According to Dan Tri Newspaper, Ha Tinh has a village that has been attached to the profession of sewing (sewing, knitting) ao dai for nearly 200 years. My job in Yen Lac village is done all year round, but the most is from the 3rd to 6th lunar month. Experiencing many ups and downs, the profession of wearing ao dai is still maintained and kept its own unique features. The shirt not only helps to cover the burning sun and cold, but also helps many farmers here have an additional source of income in life. The most important materials to make a shirt are the leaves, in addition to the leaves of the ash tree (palm tree), rattan rope. It takes almost 2 hours to finish a shirt. For many farmers in Ha Tinh, the shirt is considered an inseparable thing when going to the field. The shirt helps them resist the sun like burning fire or the cold that cuts the skin and cuts meat. Unique ironing steakhouse in Saigon Unlike a regular steak, which does not require a pan, beef at a restaurant in Saigon is grilled directly with a chicken iron. The idea of using a chicken iron has been cherished for a long time by restaurant owners. Originally, the owner is a lover of antiques, so he devised a way to cook beef in this way. Ironing steak (Photo: GiadinhNet) The ingredients for the steak here are brought to the table, accompanied by a traditional ‘hot’ chicken iron. Diners will put the iron on their own marinated beef, rare, medium or well cooked depending on each person’s preference… Ironing steak costs about 300,000-400,000 VND/serving. Strange sour pho in Ha Giang Referring to the cuisine in Ha Giang rocky plateau, tourists often mention dishes such as thang co, men men, au tau porridge, corn wine, Shan Tuyet tea… but not many people know that sour pho is also famous. poor here. Sour pho was introduced to the northern mountainous provinces such as Ha Giang, Lang Son, Cao Bang, etc., after the Man Thanh Dynasty (China) more than 300 years ago. In the past, sour pho was only used in banquets, but now it has become a favorite breakfast dish of many people in Ha Giang. The main thing that creates the taste of sour pho is the sweet and sour broth. The special broth is made up of a very sour vinegar mixed with sugar, mixed with tapioca flour and a little spice – all brought to a boil and stirred by hand. The unique dish “bumpled duck eggs” in Hue According to Dan Tri newspaper, duck eggs are a familiar dish with Vietnamese people, eggs are often served with laksa leaves, ginger and a little spice. But in the city. Hue (Thua Thien – Hue province) has a shop specializing in selling duck eggs with a new way of processing, creating a sense of excitement that attracts people to eat with the name “Battle duck eggs”. Squeezed duck eggs are a new dish (Photo: Dan Tri) Squeezed eggs will be peeled and then mixed with spices such as onion, salt and pepper, ginger sauce, sweet and sour, galangal, laksa leaves, melon, lemon leaves, fresh pepper, chili, garlic… Eaters can enjoy, feel the new taste of duck eggs. The “super rotten” dish that few dare to try of the Northwest people Rotten buffalo skin, also known as dung min, is a typical dish of the Thai people in the Northwest. The raw material to make this dish is buffalo skin. After filtering, the buffalo skin is wrapped in banana leaves and incubated for about two days depending on weather conditions. After a period of incubation, the smelly buffalo skin is washed, the hair will fall off. People bring the skin to dry, then use it to cook soup, cook banana flowers or bake depending on their preference. Rotten buffalo skin (Photo: Ytimg) For locals, this is a specialty with a distinctive taste. But for many people, just hearing the name and smelling the smell did not want to enjoy this unique dish. But this is a specialty dish for those who like to discover “unique” flavors. Garden boy “magic” garbage into expensive paintings Old jeans, banana peels, melaleuca peels… are all discarded things, but through the talented and creative hands of a guy in Kien Giang, they have turned into valuable paintings. In 2004, Mr. Le Hoang Nhan (born in 1982, in Dong Hung B commune, An Minh district, Kien Giang) recycled Melaleuca bark material into unique paintings. In 2019, the painter from Melaleuca country released pictures made from banana peels, very eye-catching jeans. In 2020, Mr. Nhan continues to create paintings made from jeans. From worn, faded jeans suddenly became fancy paintings through Mr. Nhan’s hands. To date, Mr. Nhan has made more than 1,500 paintings of melaleuca shells, more than 50 paintings of banana peels and 30 paintings from old jeans. Hanh Nguyen (Synthetic)

Asia is likened to the culinary paradise of the world with diverse and attractive dishes, but not all dishes captivate diners. The dishes below are known to many people, but not everyone is brave enough to try, especially Western tourists.
Let’s explore the Top 10 Asian dishes that make the world shudder.

Balut Illustration. This dish is very popular in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Laos. In which, the duck eggs are incubated for 16 to 20 days, then boiled and eaten with sliced fresh vegetables and ginger. Most foreigners will not dare to eat duck eggs because it feels like a scary dish. Durian Despite its very eye-catching colors, this famous fruit of these Asian countries is not popular with Western tourists. For many people, the smell of durian is quite unpleasant, so they have to cover their noses a hundred meters away. Even some tourists cannot eat this fruit even a piece. Rotten tofu Considered a dish of the Chinese in the past. Stinky tofu tastes like rotten feces, but to the person who eats them, it tastes delicious, extremely ecstatic. This dish is usually deep fried, served with sauerkraut and soy sauce. For Western guests, trying tofu is definitely a difficult and unforgettable challenge. Tuna eyes This is one of the most exotic Japanese specialties. Tuna eyes are very hard, only the cone-like jelly can be eaten after steaming. This dish makes many Europeans dare not look, let alone eat. Shirako (fish genitals) Shirako is made with sperm sacs from fish. According to many people, shirako is not easy to eat. Its taste has a strong smell but the Japanese love to eat fresh shirako. Bat soup Although bats are also often eaten by many Asian countries, seeing black bats in a bowl of specialty Indonesian soup still makes many people feel scared. Natto Natto is a type of fermented soybean with a very unpleasant smell and sharp taste. On the surface of natto covered with viscous, silk like spider webs. Most people can’t eat natto because they can’t stand the smell of it, not because it doesn’t taste good. Raw horse meat Basashi – raw horse meat is a traditional Japanese dish. The meat is thinly sliced, easy to put in the mouth, served with grated ginger and some herbs, dipped with shoyu soy sauce. Although many people commented that the taste is not bad, for Western tourists, eating red meat is still a big challenge for them. Insect In many Asian countries such as Thailand, Cambodia… insects are an indispensable part of culinary culture. Here, insects such as spiders, scorpions, locusts… are often piled high and ready to be used as snacks. Many people who eat insects will find the food very delicious and nutritious. However, for many people, trying dishes made with insects still requires a lot of courage. Fresh octopus This is a famous Korean dish. The tentacles of the octopus are chopped and eaten as soon as they are grabbed on the plate, or if you are braver, you can eat the whole one. However, eating the whole octopus is quite dangerous because the suckers on the tentacles can stick very tightly and cause suffocation.

How do foreigners view Vietnamese cuisine? Let’s find out!
Vietnamese cuisine surprised many foreign visitors. Here, they can find a full breakfast such as pho, broken rice or exotic dishes including blood soup, fried eggs … The Culture Trip – a British travel newspaper reveals 7 things makes the difference of Vietnamese cuisine in the eyes of foreigners.

5 is a special number When enjoying dishes in Vietnam, many foreign visitors are surprised with all the sour, spicy, salty, sweet and bitter flavors. This perfect blend creates the culinary features of this place, making a strong impression on visitors from afar. The typical flavor of each region Vietnam is divided into 3 main regions including North, Central and South. The cuisine of each of these regions also has its own characteristics. In the North, the food is less spicy, preferring pepper over chili. The North is also the birthplace of bun cha, a dish that was enjoyed by former President Barack Obama and the late chef Anthony Bourdain in 2016. Central has very spicy dishes that challenge the taste buds of diners. Meanwhile, Southern dishes are usually sweet. Full breakfast This has surprised many visitors to Vietnam. Vietnamese people tend to get up early and prepare well since it’s not yet morning. Before going to work, everyone can enjoy a bowl of hot pho, stewed soup or broken rice … dishes that are often used in the main meal. Coffee culture Many people believe that coming to Vietnam without trying coffee will be too big a mistake. Visitors can find cafes in almost every street in Vietnam, from popular to expensive. One of the coffee styles suggested by Culture Trip is iced brown. “ The coffee cup is combined with condensed milk and ice. This drink is like a powerful catalyst to stay healthy all day. A few delicious cafes are hidden inside alleys that are difficult to find “, this travel specialist commented. The dessert is liquid and cold Culture Trip advises visitors to enjoy the tea when coming here, especially banana tea. For those who want to eat well and like beautiful photos, 3-color tea is a reasonable choice. Strange dishes According to Culture Trip, the two dishes that most surprised foreigners when coming here are the blood and duck eggs. Blood broth is the main ingredient of fresh animal blood (duck or pig, goat) mixed with fish sauce or salt and then mixed with chopped meat and cartilage. Meanwhile, flipped duck eggs are a big challenge for foreign visitors. Fish sauce Fish sauce is used with many dishes. Visitors can dab vegetables, boiled meat, beans … with fish sauce to make the dish more flavorful. Besides, fish sauce is also used to create the perfect dipping dish for dishes such as spring rolls, bun cha, and banh xeo.

In the past, I had little habit of eating breakfast. Basically, I usually stay up late, so I wake up very late. Every day at the earliest, it must be 10am to leave the house. At that time, just a cup of coffee is enough. At noon, I have to eat only at that time, I have to eat breakfast, afraid that at the peak of work (about 2-3pm), I will be very hungry, I have to look for something to eat, afraid of losing productivity.
But since having children is different. Get up early and take your children to school, whatever you want to have breakfast. Suddenly, I found my day more meaningful than when I woke up early. One morning, I took advantage of breakfast time, coffee finished, got to work.

This morning, after releasing her daughter in elementary school, I planned to go home and write a few lines. So incessantly thinking along the flow of the car going forward, suddenly I suddenly crave a pair of flipped duck eggs. Cravings, we have to eat. But in the morning like this, where to find a place to sell “flipped duck seeds” between Saigon. So we walked across the market, bought dozens of eggs, some lettuce, ginger root, some chili powder. Going home and preparing to prepare, it also took 30 minutes. In return, the breakfast is satisfied. Foreigners coming to Vietnam for the first time must be shocked to see duck eggs flipped. Listen, it’s rumored to be one of the top 10 horror dishes in the world. But there are foreign friends that I know, who have lived in Vietnam for a long time, it turns out that “Western water spinach” already likes to eat real upside down duck eggs. Get used to it, no longer afraid. At that time, only the pulp, fragrant (but not fishy), is very attractive. Even though it is strange, in the same country, from the same people, the way of eating eggs / seeds of a flipped duck is already different. The local people often eat eggs at night, especially when going out for a drink. The saying “Flipped quail eggs, rotted duck seeds, flipped duck seeds … fried tamarind … êiiiiii” is too familiar to many people, including those who do not like this dish. Familiar because it sounds every night, on every street side, with the image of a person pushing or kicking a van in front of it, with eggs, boiled corn of all colors. The extremely difficult thing to explain is why the flipped duck seed is considered a Korean, eating easily cold, but people in the region often eat it at night, sometimes while drinking beer. And outsiders are different. Duck eggs flipped it like breakfast, more snacks. And because it considers its taste to be solder, it should always be eaten with sliced ginger, a little chili powder with salt and pepper and laksa leaves to lead the taste and smell. That way of eating, at the same mealtime, seems to really balance yin and yang. The other thing is that the locals in the region eat eggs, they put them on the small communal table, knock on the spoon to knock, open the egg shell, season with seasoning and then slice each small spoon. Salt and pepper squeezed lemon or kumquat (kumquat), add a little pureed chili and also come with laksa leaves. But definitely not eaten with ginger. Meanwhile, the North people break the eggs into a small, pretty bowl, the bad, bad, old ceramic bowl is a bit dull. Two different ways of eating, two different times of eating, and a lot of different seasoning. The most common point, which later found, was to eat with hot pot. This is delicious and delicious, but it looks really scary when the eggs are not put in the pot. So scared that I can’t describe it anymore … Having finished sipping a pair of flipped duck eggs, I suddenly smiled to myself when I thought about this day. Yeah, there’s still the second day of the lunar month. Outside the North, there is a strange custom that is rare in the South. It is to abstain from a few things, including eating and drinking, in the first few “days” of the month. Which is abstaining from dog meat, abstaining from duck meat, abstaining from squid, and abstaining from eggs. There are also people who do not abstain, but many people keep it very cautious. Cravings are cravings, those dishes have to wait through the day of the day. There are men who are more careful, still waiting for the full moon. They are afraid of stirring for a whole month. That abstinence has been brought up to the “realm” of people who are abstaining from haircuts and shaving. Not to mention watching the hours out of the house. Typically an old classmate of mine. He abstains from the color of clothes, shoes. In the past, we used to tease “So do you abstain from bathing, abstaining from washing your hair? If you abstain from that, then you will take a bath to make up four times a day?”. It is true superstition is afraid. From contemplating the thousand types of abstinence, I suddenly remembered the story that just happened. In the midst of the time COVID-19 was still a dangling threat, in the ten thousand people, it was a real fear. Unfortunately, there is a man with Corona virus there, he sneezes a few times, I don’t know how the disaster will be? And also the story about 50,000 people flocked to this temple that controversy about superstition arose. Every year as well as every year, that old story is unearthed. Yet in the end, nothing changed. I feel really sad thinking about it. Vietnam is a free country of belief. God everyone worshiped. Even there are many families, Catholic wives, and Buddhist husbands are still okay. Such freedom does prevent us from getting caught up in troublesome attachments that can greatly hinder the development of society. But ironically, what is popular is not faithfully believing in a certain belief. Instead it was a superstitious society with a vain amalgamation of different types of faiths. Gods, Buddha, mandarin, holy … people worship everything. No longer seeing true faith but just a mess of fear. It is no longer “worshiped, holy, abstained, and wholesome” as the elders said. The only remaining “is not worship because of the sacred, but just because of fear”. There are quite a few friends who understand the Buddhist teachings and I see clearly how they appear to be a true Buddhist. They have no fear of pagan evil spirits. They tend to understanding more philosophy and do not confuse gods, ghosts, elves, evil … of other faiths. But the number of such people in society is very rare. Popularly, we still meet individuals who always want to talk spiritually but really do not understand what is the most basic of a belief. They mixed Buddhism into religion, adding the spices of motherhood and a few other beliefs. What do they believe in? Nobody can answer. But I think the only thing they believe is fear. They are afraid of some supernatural intangible force that they themselves do not have a proper belief in to deal with that fear. I wonder, in the old days, in the time of the grandparents’ generation, was it like that? I’m afraid not. At that time, people who worship Buddha probably only believed completely in Buddha’s door. The way of making offerings of that time was probably also very different. And just looking at the architecture of the ancient temples is enough to understand. It is unified, it has the unique identity of the Vietnamese people. What about today? Temples were built many, very majestic, very superficial. But architecture is doped. A little China, a little Burmese, Thailand, Cambodia, a little Tibet, and even a few places like the Shinto gate of Japan. Such a mess was created out of a strange “monster”. After all, if people really believe in something, a certain belief, they will not lose their way between the message, coinciding with other beliefs. There is nothing bad when we choose for ourselves a belief in a time where science can explain these thousands and thousands of things. But it would be weird if we put our faith in a mess – pí – of belief, confusion and lack of dominant spirit. This messy placing of faith is the best proof that a person really does not have a faith of his own. Having a pure and faithful personal faith is your own choice, but in fact it also comes from the home environment. Parents, brothers and sisters believe that a little mess in each place will definitely lead to their children being affected and also easily distracted. That stray is confusion. And the two hours of “superstition” were just too precise to judge the beliefs of the majority today. Those who believe that eating duck, eggs or squid at the beginning of the lunar month will bring bad luck understand that no religion teaches their followers to abstain. And in the South, where there are so many Buddhists, there is no one who believes that such junk food can bring them bad luck. Basically, because when they really believe in Buddha, the power of Buddhist philosophy is enough for them to understand that the other three abstinence is the delusion of those who actually do not believe. Have we ever asked ourselves a question, “Yeah, what do we really believe in?”. Answering it actually opens up huge doors for ourselves. Because when we are determined to believe in a particular belief, we inevitably have to go through a process of defying the beliefs to see how much they truly conquer us. Having not overcome these challenges, it is clear that all that remains is blind.
