On the ‘closed’ travel days because of Covid-19, I chose a place less than 30km from my home, with a lake and green pine forest. A tent, a few simple tools, it was a memorable trip.
Living slowly and freely in the midst of nature

Following the social network during the epidemic, I suddenly saw that my friends shared more pictures of camping and family picnics. Quiet, not crowded but still experience and rest with familiar people. Camping is not a new form of tourism, but perhaps now “on the throne” when tourism activities are limited, everyone is self-aware of distance to prevent epidemics. And camping is one of the best ways for people to relax and enjoy nature; in parallel with compliance with regulations on prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Camping is a great way to enjoy unspoiled nature. Has anyone told you that our country has countless beautiful places to camp? Try spending a weekend to experience it. I like the mountain roads leading to the Dong Cao steppe (Bac Giang), where I can zoom out to see the majestic mountain scenery, love the feeling of freedom in the middle of Dong Lam valley (Lang Son province). ), where there are green grass and green river. Who doesn’t like to hear the waves crashing right next to their ears on a camping night in Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), or open their eyes to see a sea of white clouds in Da Lat (Lam Dong)… Fresh air, wide mind The openness, the ultimate sense of freedom and the slow pace of life when truly immersed in nature can be “addictive” to anyone. The beautiful sea of clouds view from the campsite in Dong Cao (Bac Giang). Going camping is not boring because outdoor activities are extremely diverse. Hiking in the forest, fishing, yoga, cycling around the lake, kayaking, SUP board on the river or in the sea, … all consume a lot of energy and require basic skills. But sometimes, visitors just need to be spoiled for water in the cool water, “foot massage” with pebbles in the stream bed, walk together on the lawn, watch the sun set in a sunset. .. is enough. For families with young children, camping becomes even more interesting. Away from TV screens, phones, children will be free to explore, have new lessons about the natural world around in the most realistic way. I love that the whole family comes together to prepare food for a barbecue, which can be incomplete but is always delicious. By the flickering campfire, everyone told stories together, playing guitar under the starry sky. Affection, family cohesion, friends are also a benefit that camping brings. Sharing moments together makes camping more memorable. Safe, environmentally friendly With self-sufficient tourism such as camping, safety is always a top priority. In addition to fully and thoughtfully preparing furniture, tools and costumes; Everyone must always consider and choose a suitable camping site for the weather, time and participants. Regarding the location, the experience to remember is to avoid areas with difficult terrain, or rain at night, high winds or too far from residential areas, without phone signal. First aid items and some simple medicine should always be on hand. The dishes when camping are not picky, do not require a chef’s talent, but always have to be hygienic, fresh and attractive. The picnic meal is simple but still very attractive. For me, it only takes the most basic tools and a car to get to the camping site not too far from home, but there are many people who like a thoughtful camping trip. Pickup trucks, minivans like a mobile home with full of handy camping gear are becoming more and more popular with Vietnamese families. But if you are inexperienced and shy of places that are too wild, there are many tourist campsites with relatively convenient services. From Hanoi, there are many places that campers whisper to each other and quickly become familiar such as Ban Rom tourist area Soc Son, Dong Mo, Dong Do lake, Son Tinh Camp… Not far from the city center In Ho Chi Minh City, besides Tri An lake, Chua Chan mountain, Ba Den mountain, there are also many campsites in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan open to serve tourists. Besides, grasping this trend, many travel agencies have also opened tours with suitable services for families, groups of friends, even “glamping” (glamorous + camping – style camping style. luxury and comfort). Natural places that are not too far from home or are not famous can become camping spots, limiting contact with crowds. “Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints”, camping requires each of us to be more conscious in protecting the environment, collecting waste and minimizing the impact on the environment. surrounding nature. There have been “camping without leaving garbage” movements called for and responded by many camping lovers, spreading beautiful actions. And of course, camping, like any other activity, needs to comply with epidemic prevention regulations, so that the trip is a good memory when you return home.

Tourists camp by Dong Do lake, Soc Son (Hanoi). Photo: THU HUONG Not looking to crowded tourist spots, but looking to empty camping places to be immersed in nature, feel a peaceful life, is a travel trend chosen by many young people, especially in the context of Tourism has not been able to resume normal operations due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic. The Covid-19 epidemic has significantly changed the needs and tastes of tourists. Accordingly, self-sufficient travel, traveling in small groups and short days to ensure safety against the epidemic is a popular trend in the current situation. Meeting these requirements, camping tourism with its own strengths is being chosen by many young people, especially young families, to satisfy their passion for travel. Camping tourism can be roughly understood as a form of outdoor camping or camping. Associated with this form of tourism are often activities such as setting up camp, setting up campfire, walking, climbing, swimming, fishing, cooking, making barbecue with prepared and pre-prepared foods. … Different from the feeling of staying at luxurious and comfortable resorts, camping tourism gives visitors new and unique experiences when they are free to mingle and feel nature in a large space. grow up, listen to the breath of trees and rivers, leave behind the hustle, bustle and bustle to recharge the body with the fresh and fresh energy of nature. Besides, setting up tents, camping, barbecues, campfires… also help increase opportunities for communication, understanding and bonding between groups of friends or family members. Another plus point is that the cost of each camping trip is often “softer” than other forms of tourism, making this type of tourism increasingly popular, especially for the general group of tourists who do not have a long-term travel conditions, and do not spend a large amount on each trip. Mr. Hoang Phuong from Yen Phu ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi said that when there was no epidemic, every year, he and his wife tried to take their children to travel in the country or abroad at least twice a year. During the summer vacation or Tet holiday, each trip lasts about four or five days so that the children have enough time to learn about the culture of each land. However, when the epidemic appeared, in order to both ensure safety and meet the needs of his children’s discovery and experience, he often took advantage of taking his wife and children to have a picnic by personal car on days relax for week. The destination in Hanoi chosen by his family is easy to move, owns beautiful nature and has many experience activities such as: Ban Rom Eco-tourism Area, Dong Mo Camping Sport, Yen So Park , Ham Lon mountain, Ba Vi National Park… It can be seen that, with rich natural resources, in all three regions of our country, there are destinations known as “camping paradise”, from the valleys, hills, and green lakes in the area. mountains in the north to beaches, clear plateaus in the central and southern regions. To meet the needs of tourists, many travel agencies have put camping tourism in their category of activities with the desire to diversify products and direct visitors to participate more in ecotourism, tourism. responsible for nature and the environment. Many camping resorts with favorable geographical locations have also been formed and put into operation, providing many services available with colorful tents, essential utensils, grills… In order to improve With the awareness of environmental protection and increasing local cultural experience, many resorts also organize camping activities for visitors such as visiting craft villages, organizing outdoor parties, fishing, etc. pulling nets… Recently, there are quite a few camping resorts that have received high appreciation from tourists such as: Son Tinh Camp (Hanoi), Canh Duong Beach Camp (Hue), Trung Luong picnic area (Binh Dinh), Tanyoli tourist area (Ninh Thuan), Coco Beach Camp (Binh Thuan)… In order to have a camping trip that is both attractive and safe, visitors need to carefully research the terrain and weather to have a thorough preparation of costumes, food, and carry-on items such as camping tents. , sleeping bags, first aid bags, blankets, stoves, power banks, especially garbage bags so as not to litter the environment… According to travel experts, tourists, especially families with young children, should plug them in. Camping at tourist camping sites, that is, the area has been planned to fully ensure the elements of the natural landscape, infrastructure, facilities and services necessary to serve the needs of tourists. camping guest service. To ensure safety against the epidemic, visitors should camp in places where there are not too many people, and strictly adhere to epidemic prevention measures.

In the past, Ankroet stream used to forbid tourists from entering because of littering, now it’s the same in Da Phu.”

Share with Zing , Quoc Dung said he took the photos at about 5 am on May 1, when he and his friends visited to hunt clouds. “Recently, tour operators guide tourists to hunt clouds and watch the sunrise, so there is often a situation of litter here. When I went up, there were 4-5 groups setting up camps, until I left. , some people even forget to clean up,” he said. Garbage includes plastic bottles, plastic bags thrown indiscriminately on the hill. The unflattering image makes the online community angry, questioning the consciousness of a part of tourists who come to enjoy the holiday. Hongdiem account wrote: “In Da Lat, many people choose to camp in the forest, sleep in tents to find freedom and be comfortable with nature, but forget to bring awareness, eat and drink, don’t bother to clean up”. “Many people just want to come up here to have a good picture to bring back, then tomorrow when people ban the door, they will ask loudly why. Passing through Tuyen Lam Lake, heading to Happy Hill cafe, I observe on both sides of the road many families and groups of friends spread tarps to eat and drink. and singing. Reply Zing According to Mr. Le Anh Kiet, Head of Culture and Information Department of Da Lat city, it is estimated that on the night of April 30 and May 1, Da Lat welcomed about 126,000 visitors, of which international visitors reached 2,500.

With fresh and unspoiled nature, Phu Quy Island (Binh Thuan) is a picnic destination that attracts young people to check-in this summer.
Camping is a keyword that has attracted the attention of the traveling community recently. Camping sites possessing a quiet space, pristine scenery, less affected by tourism services, are more popular than ever.

Phu Quy island or Thu and Khoai Xu islands are attractive rendezvous for you to temporarily put aside the hustle and bustle of urban life and immerse yourself in the nature of the sunny and windy sea. The clear blue bay with a view to the bottom, the island without tourist fees, cheap seafood, and gentle locals are the factors that attract visitors to the “green pearl” of Binh Thuan. Reader Tien Ti Ton shared a memorable camping trip with a group of 7 friends on Phu Quy island for 3 days and 2 nights. Phu Quy has a different beauty compared to the islands of Vietnam. Move Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet: You can take a bus to the coastal city of Phan Thiet, the travel time is about 4 hours. Because we want to be proactive about the time as well as enjoy the scenery along the way, our group chose motorbikes as a means of transportation. Phan Thiet to Phu Quy Island: There are many shipping lines for you to choose to move to the island such as Phu Quy Express, Superdong, Phu Quy Island… We choose the Superdong train, take VIP seats and return to normal seats to have a variety of experiences. However, I think it’s better to take the VIP seat because the cabin is quite quiet, served with filtered water, cold towels and a recliner. Meanwhile, the normal class is the seat, which is quite hot. Those who go to the island on the weekend should book tickets from 2 weeks to 1 month in advance because the train often runs out of seats early. After more than 2 hours floating on the immense sea, the group arrived on Phu Quy island. Visitors can easily record beautiful frames on Phu Quy island. Stay There are many motels and hotels on Phu Quy island. However, the quality of tourist services is not equal to those of high-class accommodation in big cities. The plus point is that the rooms are clean and the prices are quite reasonable, ranging from 300,000 to 400,000 VND/night. We stopped at My Nhat guesthouse. The owner is quite enthusiastic, friendly, the room is newly built and clean. Price for double room is 400,000 VND and single room is 300,000 VND. We also rent motorbikes here for 100,000 VND/day. The accommodation has a seafood barn and sells milk tea, so it is very convenient for eating and drinking. Play schedule Because we want to have more time to rest, our group departs from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet at 19:00 on Friday evening. Guests can rent overnight accommodation near the pier, convenient to Phu Quy island the next morning. If going on a weekend, you need to make a reservation in advance to secure your spot. Our group chose Hanh Huong motel, rented a dormitory room for 600,000 VND/night for 7 people. The host is enthusiastic and cares about us throughout our dining journey in Phu Quy. Day 1 The group had a light breakfast, then at 6:30 a.m. depart for the pier. Because we had completed medical declaration procedures and bought train tickets in advance, after sending our motorbikes, we were able to get on the train right away, starting the journey to discover Phu Quy. The group arrived at the island at 9:15. Someone picked up their group at the wharf and took motorbikes to move on the island. After that, the group moved to the motel near the shipping dock. Since we intend to camp on the island, we went to the Residency Committee. Phu Quy is a military island, visitors who want to camp should ask the motel for a permit first. Visitors need to keep the common hygiene, should not make campfires, bustling activities, noisy on the island. After that, we went to Hoa Thuong hot beef restaurant for lunch. The space is airy, even though the restaurant is crowded, the food is also quite good. After lunch, we went to Sea Wind coffee. The shop is located near the 7-color stone beach, cool sea view, suitable for escaping the summer afternoon heat. The group visited the Phu Quy rafting village to buy seafood. Phu Quy is famous for delicious, nutritious and cheap seafood. We bought nearly 2 kg of squid leaves, oysters, crabs, sea urchins, all for only 1.3 million VND. Cao Cat Mountain is the next stop in the entertainment journey in Phu Quy. Admiring the stacked cliffs or checking-in to the ancient Linh Son pagoda on the top of the mountain are unforgettable experiences here. Cao Cat Mountain possesses steep cliffs with strange shapes. Sunset fell, the group decided to watch the sun set at Long Vi. After that, we moved to the accommodation, processed seafood and washed to go to the campsite. Trieu Duong Bay and Phut slope have registered campers. Therefore, we planted it at Small Beach. The view here is quite chill, we can see the sunrise right in front of our eyes in the morning, especially there is no phone signal, so we feel separate from the noisy city. However, the way to Bai Nho has to walk quite hard. We were fortunate to have a local friend guide us, so the schedule was quite convenient. After setting up camp, we grilled seafood, enjoyed homemade dinner together. Eat, drink, talk until about 10 pm, the whole association cleans up, looks at the stars and goes to the tent to rest. Friends camping on Phu Quy island. Day 2 We got up early to catch the sunrise but that day there were quite a lot of clouds, we couldn’t hunt the sunrise. Around 6 o’clock, the group cleaned up the tent and garbage, then went back to the motel to put things and take a shower. After that, we have breakfast and coffee at the property. Trieu Duong Bay is the first check-in point of the new day. It has a wide beach, white sand, stretches to the top with clear blue sea, suitable for swimming, camping or picnicking. However, the scenery was not too special, so we only visited for a short time. The group continued to check-in the Phu Quy flagpole. The flagpole on Phu Quy island represents Vietnam’s territorial sovereignty. From here, you can take in the view of the emerald green bay, fine sand and undulating cliffs. Next, we stopped at Ganh Hang, Infinity Lake and Sung Sung slot. The check-in cluster is favored by paparazzi and backpackers because of its many magical image angles. The road here is a bit difficult to go, but the picturesque scenery will not let you down. Phu Quy Island has many check-in points for visitors to experience. At noon, we went back to the motel, helped by the owner to cook. After that, the group took a lunch break to refuel for the afternoon exploration of Hon Tranh. 14:00, Hon Tranh tour guide arrives at the guesthouse to pick up the group. Hon Tranh is about 3 km from Phu Quy island, so the group only takes about 15 minutes to move. This is a military base to protect the important sovereignty of the sea and islands of Binh Thuan waters. In recent years, tourism in Phu Quy has grown more and more, attracting tourists to explore this beautiful island. The wild beauty of Hon Tranh attracts tourists. On the canoe, visitors will be able to fish with a line according to the instructions. However, there was a member who was seasick and that day the sea was rough, so the fishing time was not much. The weather was hot and sunny, the group only checked-in a few beautiful places in Hon Tranh. Swimming, boating, diving to see corals, and going out with fishermen to catch and process seafood on boats are popular activities on the island. We decided to paddle SUP, watch the sunset, enjoy the fresh air here. After a long day with many interesting experiences, the group went home, took a cool bath, rested, then bought a seafood hot pot at Mesh Sea Food and went home to eat. After eating and drinking, all packed their luggage to return to the mainland the next day. Day 3 The ship had a tidal problem, so it departed at 11am. So, on the last morning on Phu Quy island, we decided to go to Phiet slope and rock beach to watch the sunrise. Sunrise at Phot slope. After that, everyone went to eat meat vermicelli, fried vermicelli, and banh chung, even at the crossroads entering the port. The noodles at the restaurant are quite delicious. Spinach jelly is a strange dish not to be missed here. After that, we moved to Teacher’s Tomb. There are artificial lakes on the sea with unique architecture, which are the background in the frames taken by young people. Teacher’s grave is a favorite check-in point for young people. Phong Dien is the next check-in point. The fans here are built to generate electricity to serve the people on the island. The road to visit is quite impressive, the two sides are the sea and the poplar trees casting shadows on the path. Next, the group stopped at the wall to check-in Phu Quy island and the 7-color embankment. The vibrant colors spread along the embankment are ideal suggestions for creating virtual live images. The Mekong Delta is associated with images of gardens, rice fields or floating markets. The landscape of That Son area, which is a distinct highlight of the delta, has not been properly exploited. Recently, camping, cloud hunting and nature exploration in Cam Mountain have opened up a new perspective on river tourism.

Activities to explore the nature of Cam mountain attract many young people. Cloud hunting camping Cam Mountain, also known as Thien Cam Son, belongs to An Giang province. This is the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta, and is considered the “Da Lat of the West” because of its cool and fresh air. Currently, visitors can participate in camping and rattan hunting activities at Nha Cua May homestay located on Cam mountain. Up to the present time, this is the only place for tourists to stay overnight and experience the life of the people of An Giang mountainous area. Duong Thi Cam Van was born and raised in That Son area, she has a great love for the natural beauty here. Pioneering in camping activities on Cam mountain, Van shared with Zing: “In the past, the mountain mainly developed spiritual tourism, visitors came to the temple and then returned, few people stayed. I want to introduce visitors to other beauties of the mountain, which people may not know yet.” Homestay is built in the middle of the mountain. From a small hut with the original purpose of keeping the garden, Van and his family converted into a house with bamboo and leaves to rest. With the support of friends, Van develops homestay service and welcomes guests to the house to play, enjoy the fresh mountain air. “I think where I live the weather is very cool, the scenery is also beautiful, why not create a resort for everyone,” Van said. Guests coming to the homestay will have the opportunity to experience camping and cloud hunting activities, in addition to enjoying the rustic dishes of the An Giang mountains. Huynh Ly (HCMC) shared: “I found out about Nha by chance through a tour group. At first, I didn’t think the West would have a mountain camping area like this. Very impressive experience. Everything is simple, nestled in the middle of the mountains and forests, opening the door in the morning, the clouds flood into the room. Every moment of the day is a completely different scene.” According to Ly, the most memorable memory of riding a motorbike taxi from the foot of the mountain to the house is a little adventurous, a little refreshing, watching the wild landscape of the mountains in the cool breeze. The peaceful space in the mountains helps visitors forget the stress in life. Discover the nature of Cam mountain In addition to camping activities, hunting clouds, enjoying local dishes, Van also regularly organizes picnics, helping visitors to clearly feel the fresh beauty of the Cam Mountain. “The rainy season is the most beautiful season of Cam Mountain, because in this season the waterfalls and streams are very beautiful. The feeling of immersing in the early morning mist, standing on a high hill listening to birds singing, watching majestic waterfalls, I really want to share with everyone,” Van said. Visitors also have the opportunity to experience mountain crab fishing, visit strawberry, durian and avocado gardens and understand more about the history of the land.

Not far from the city are peaceful skies, forests, lakes and the lightness of a sunny summer day.
It doesn’t take too much time to enjoy the fresh air and relax your mind after stressful working hours. This summer, try with friends and family to plan a camping trip near the city.

Coc lake Address: Bung Rieng, Xuyen Moc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau. About 120 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Campsite cost: 100,000 VND/person. Highlights: The campsite is located on the coast of Ho Coc, a pristine beach that has recently been put into tourist exploitation. It has an extremely cool climate thanks to the surrounding mountains and forests. Because it has just begun to be invested and exploited, the scenery here almost retains the inherent wildness, with the long coastline and rows of blue poplars. Comment: Duong Lam: “The sea wind is strong at night, quite cold. There are not many restaurants around, so finding food and drinks is a bit difficult. Camping teams can consider buying materials in advance to be more satisfied. Ho Lam: The campground does not have a specific address, need to contact first to get the location coordinates, then follow the instructions on the map. The road to the campsite is mostly a rather deserted forest road, so it is necessary to prepare carefully in case of vehicle breakdown along the way. Fresh camping ground surrounded by poplar forest. Photo: Minh Hanh Phan. Dau Tieng Lake Address: Duong Minh Chau, Tay Ninh. About 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Campsite cost: 30,000 – 50,000 VND. Highlights: Dau Tieng is the largest artificial lake in Vietnam, not only plays an important role in irrigation, which is to coordinate water for the Saigon River, but also a tourist attraction that attracts many tourists. With wide lawn stretching, Dau Tieng lake is very suitable for camping. From the campsite, you can see Ba Den mountain and green forest. The scenery is poetic and majestic. Currently camping at Dau Tieng Lake has more fun activities such as SUP paddle, tent rental, kayaking… The camping site is separate but close to residential areas, so buying more necessities is quite easily. Comment: Ms. Le Ai: Many campers will worry about going to the toilet. There are many shops around the camping area of Dau Tieng Lake, so take advantage of cleaning and bathing during the opening hours. You can find dry firewood around the camp area, but please check the weather forecast to avoid wet firewood that will make it difficult to set up the stove. Mr. Vu Long: Camping, cooking, singing, hanging out with friends here is great. However, here the phone signal is very weak, sometimes lost. In the past, the beach was still wild, so the service was almost nonexistent, now the service is a lot with many things arising, so if you go self-sufficient or have no experience, you should contact tourguide for advice and guidance great experiences in Dau Tieng Lake. Beautiful sunset on Dau Tieng lake. Photo: Hai Tran, Vo Duc Huy. Tri An Lake Location: Dong Nai. About 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Campsite cost: no cost. Highlights: Tri An Lake is an artificial lake located on the Dong Nai River. The calm lake surface with clear water, the shady shore of the green trees are the ideal factors for a leisurely camping on a hot summer day. Tri An Lake is very large, but most of the campsites are located in the area from the hydroelectric power station along the canal to the edge of the forest. The space here is airy and spacious, suitable for watching the starry night sky or making a campfire to bake potatoes, barbecue… Comment: Mr. Nguyen The Son: In addition to the familiar campsites, people can camp along the canal. Especially in the dry season when the water recedes, you can go deep into the canal to plug. However, young people who come to camp should maintain general hygiene, before leaving, please clean up. Ms. Minh Anh: At the weekend, when I wanted to escape the city and find a quiet place to relax my mind, I encountered a group of groups with loudspeakers playing loud music. In addition to being affected by noise, the scenery at the lake is most beautiful at sunset. Tri An Lake with cool blue water, suitable for summer camping. Photo: Vu Thanh An, Nha Khuu. Cu Lao Cau Address: Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan. About 240 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Campsite cost: No cost. Highlights: Cu Lao Cau is a small island in Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan. The island is nearly 10km from the mainland, so moving to the island is quite convenient. The island is pristine with blue sea water, surrounded by countless rocks of different colors and shapes. The stones here have many strange shapes and colors, changing unusually depending on the light every day. Long sandy beaches are suitable places for camping with friends on a sunny summer day. Comment: Mr. Kim Vu: There are currently only a few households living on the island, there are absolutely no restaurants, if you go camping on your own, consider buying enough food and water for the members in advance. After bathing, you can go to the border station to ask for fresh water, but you should save because water on the island is very scarce. Ms. Le Vy: Because the island is unspoiled, it is possible to encounter snakes and insects. Everyone should be well prepared for the worst case scenario. The coral on the island is well preserved, so it is very beautiful. You should prepare a pair of beach sandals to avoid injury when scuba diving. Unspoiled Cu Lao Cau is suitable for teams who love to explore nature. Phu Dien rice field (Tan Phu district) is known as the largest rice granary in Dong Nai province. About 120 km from Ho Chi Minh City with a fresh climate, close natural scenery, this is a very suitable place for a weekend picnic.

The highlight in Phu Dien is the geological crust created hundreds of millions of years ago, creating volcanoes, rocky mountains, hot springs, and beautiful tropical forests. The majestic rocky mountain among the rice fields makes the difference for Phu Dien field. Photo: Lukapaulos. Here visitors can experience many exciting physical activities such as cycling, SUP rowing, rock climbing, waterfall bathing … while also having the opportunity to explore the country life of local people. Dam Sen Phu Dien Summer is the best time to visit the lotus fields in Phu Dien. At this time the lotus blooms evenly across the lake surface, with the highlight of large rocky mountains interspersed with lotus fields creating an impressive country scene. The peaceful landscape offers a relaxing moment, especially for photography-interested travelers who can hunt for beautiful moments. Checkin is the most beautiful lotus field in summer. Photo: Van Thanh. Camp on Cross Rock The rocky mountains in Phu Dien fields are formed by the development of the volcanic system in the area, creating a special topography. Cross stone mountain is about 150 m high, an area of about 1 . 000 m2, located in the middle of rice fields. Visitors need to cross 2 km of field road to reach the foot of the mountain. Experience camping overnight, watching the sunrise from the mountain leaves many impressions for visitors. Nguyen Thu (HCMC) shared with Zing : “No need to get up very early, go a long way to catch dawn, just step out of the tent is a vast field of light in front of your eyes”. Beautiful sunrise and sunset from the Cross rocky mountain. The whole group departed from Hanoi, so I chose to fly to Vinh due to flight delay. I have to spend more money on the hotel in Vinh and rent a car to move to Quang Binh.

Before starting the 4 day 3 night journey to conquer the largest cave in the world, the whole group will gather to listen to the guide to disseminate safety information and receive equipment. At the same time, people will meet porters (porters), safety assistants, chefs … Son Doong cave belongs to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh), this is the address in the list of 20 destinations to break natural records voted by Insider (USA) in 2020. In 1991, the cave was discovered by Mr. Ho Khanh while going to the woods and looking for a place to avoid rain. Then the British Royal cave experts, led by Mr. Howard Limbert, have researched, measured and officially confirmed this is the largest cave in the world. Day 1: Phong Nha – Hang En The first day of the group was the journey from Phong Nha to Hang En. The group will start to walk down a long slope, across the forest with many climbing and downhill sections. After that, you continue to walk and wade streams. Due to going on a rainy day, the water in the cave is quite cold. Going all this way, you will come to Ban Doong, the village of the ethnic minority community of Bru Van Kieu. Group stop for lunch and rest here. After lunch break, the group continues to move about 3 hours to reach Hang En door. This is the third largest cave in the world with a length of about 1.6 km. This location used to be the setting of a famous movie Peter Pan . After more than half a day of traveling, the members were divided into tents and camps. Next to the camp is a blue lake, you can go swimming if you like. The first night in the cave, the chefs will serve the group with a variety of dishes. All processed ingredients are brought from the outside by porters, the dishes are processed deliciously, both taste and attractive. After dinner, the whole group will exchange, chat and end the first day. Day 2: Son Doong cave entrance – Bai Trai 1 In the morning, the whole team explores deeper in Hang En to come to Son Doong. After that, the group stopped for lunch before wearing seat belts and climbed down to the mouth of Son Doong cave. Although I still had a lot of confusion in handling situations, I finally set foot on the cave floor. With its majestic looks and giant size, the store surprised the whole group. From here, the group continued to cross many underground streams. The water is flowing fast, the porters have to stand in line to reduce the water strength, helping the group pass through safely. However, I boldly swim through this stream. In the afternoon, the delegation arrived at the first campsite of Son Doong cave. From here, you can look to sinkhole 1, also known as “Dinosaur’s Void”. This sinkhole was formed as part of the cave ceiling collapsed thousands of years ago. After dinner, I went to bed early because the day 2 itinerary was quite tiring. Day 3: Garden of Eden – Beach camp 2 Garden of Eden and Hole 2 is the most impressive place in this journey. From the very beginning, the group had to overcome very high and slippery rock slopes, so down quickly. You have to wriggle through many narrow rocky niches to reach sinkhole 1 – “Dinosaur’s Vape”. Continue to go deep and climb the rope over some steep rocks to get to the other side of the sinkhole 1. From here, you can capture the magnificent scenery of Son Doong cave. The group stops for lunch to prepare to conquer “Garden of Eden” at the second sinkhole. Because there is a sinkhole, light can enter the cave, creating a diverse vegetation. After exploring the forest, the group rested at camp No. 2 and continued to go into the dark cave to learn about the unique creatures, admire the masterpieces of stalactites. Finally, the group returned to the campsite, had dinner and rest, ending the third day. Day 4: The Vietnam Wall The last day, the group wore seat belts to conquer the Vietnamese Wall. This is an important milestone of the journey to conquer Son Doong. Before that, you are instructed on essential skills such as climbing ropes, operating safety equipment … First, you need to take a boat ride on an underground lake 600 meters long to reach the foot of the wall. You will start with a 20 m of iron ladder. The challenge increases in difficulty as you continue to swing with your hands to successfully conquer the wall and out of the cave. After leaving the cave, the group had lunch and continued to cross the forest for about 2 hours to go to the gathering point. About 15-16h, the transfer car took the group to the hotel, ending the journey. I stayed at a homestay for one night, then moved back to Hanoi. Note If you are planning this trip, you should register for the tour early. It was 8 months from the time I registered to the start of the journey. The number of visitors to explore the cave is limited per year. – Before starting the journey, it is necessary to practice according to the instructions of the tour provider. – About supplies, I prepare according to the list provided. In particular, you must bring organic shampoo, shower gel (organic), to not affect the environment in the cave. Good trekking shoes will decide 70% of your trip. Tour cost: 58.2 million VND / person Difficulty: 6 – difficult Age of participation: 18 years old and above Distance: 17 km through the forest, 8 km to explore the cave, 800 m up the slope, 90 m to climb the rope – Vietnam wall, across the river, stream or underground river in the cave. Do you have a trip this summer yet? Please share with us about the schedule, costs and beautiful pictures at: lifestyle@zing.vn The articles will be edited and published in the Zing Travel column.

Camping, glamping and yoga retreat… are no stranger to the 9x and 10x generations. Many young people have planned a relaxing vacation on the occasion of the upcoming 30/4-1 / 5 ceremony.
Camping – camping, picnic, outdoor picnic is a trend that has flourished in recent years and is being chosen by more young people than ever. The feeling of exploring or “waking up in a distant place” between the four sides of flowers and trees, not hotel rooms … brings interesting experiences.

Surfing facebook for a while, Thu Nga suddenly stopped at a photo of her college classmate, drinking coffee with a tea and cake table in the middle of the stream. Pulling down the comment section, a lot of people ask “Where is that chill? Oh, there are also “virtual living” furniture? After a while talking back and forth to find out, Nga also decided to invite a few more friends to go camping on this 30/4-1 / 5 holiday. “When booking hotels and airplanes at this time, there is a high chance that there is no room available and the price is quite expensive. So I chose to change the wind here, because going by car not too far will not get tired. ” The trend of camping or glamping (glamorous camping – luxury camping with full facilities) is being loved by many young people recently. Not only single boys and girls, but camping also attracts young families with young children, senior class groups – final year students … Looking at the camping photos on Instagram social network, you can see that this tourism style is chosen by many young people because it is quite “chill”, bringing a feeling of closeness to nature with countless “virtual life” sceneries. “The best … Usually, young people choose places with spacious, airy land, natural areas, lakes, so that they can comfortably set up tents. A guy who posted “thousand likes” on a travel fanpage shared: “Everyone thought camping had to be packed with furniture, but actually it just depends on your needs. We usually only need a small tent, carpet, a small table and a few folding chairs, food as we like … is enough for the whole day. If you like to enjoy and like the style a little more, you can book hotels, homestay … because they also provide full equipment, set up the dining table, barbecue, the evening space is more sparkling. give you the freedom to take pictures. Depending on your needs, budget and preferences, you can choose furniture and destinations. Passionate since he was a student, now working and have two sons, but Mr. Vu Thang (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) is still passionate about roadtrip trips and passed on to his children. “Formerly a genuine traveler, my husband and I still ride motorbikes but now we have children, we switch to a car, whenever we hurry, we jump in the bus, take a nap to arrive safely. Whenever we have free time, our family will spontaneously go on the road, so the things to take away are also trying to be as minimal as possible, the criteria of going to relax, being close to the children after working hours, studying stress. So for several years now, my family has chosen to picnic in places close to nature. ” For many people, yoga is now not only limited to the hourly shifts, but now new trends such as “yoga retreat, yoga vacation” are becoming more and more known. Tourism combining physical and mental training and soul healing has become popular. Yoga retreat close to nature – Artwork: Internet After a period of stressful work with a lot of pressure at an insurance company, Phuong Ly (35 years old) decided to invite 2 best friends from high school to go yoga retreat. In the same mood, the 3 girls left for Da Lat. Upon registration, the program announced the vegetarian menu and relaxation exercises. Ly said she and her friends could practice yoga classes in the midst of nature, relax together, take a deep breath, and get rid of the stress from daily work. She called it “the journey to find peace”: “Close your eyes, breathe evenly, only the sound of birds chirping and running water, the simple natural sounds of life that I do not usually let go of every day. notice, all worries like to worry again … ” Thanh Phu (in Ho Chi Minh City) said that he and his wife about to get married decided to join the yoga retreat at the beach together before getting married. “As everyone says, the time to discuss wedding plans for couples is often arguing the most, but thanks to the relaxing trip we feel more comfortable to look at a long life together. long.” On some websites, young people can register for yoga retreat and meditation courses at many beautiful natural places such as Da Lat, Lang Co (Hue), La Gi (Binh Thuan), Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Tam Dao, Soc Son (Hanoi) … lasted 3-4-5 days, diverse activities such as cycling, swimming, rowing, trekking, badminton … with prices from 4 to more than 10 million. A counselor said that the yoga retreat at this time had many options, you could practice from the mountain to the sea, in the sunshine or take a bath in the moonlight …

The 4-day holiday season 30/4-1 / 5 gives you the freedom to have fun and entertainment in outdoor locations. Camping is the preferred form of transportation because of the cost savings, visitors can immerse themselves in nature while still being able to limit their exposure in the context of a new Covid-19 epidemic.

Unlike luxury resorts, at camping, you will experience many interesting activities such as setting up a tent, cooking food, trekking in the jungle … The coastal camping sites of Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan or Ba Ria – Vung Tau are suggestions for a short vacation. 1. Van Village Located on the coast of Da Nang, right at the foot of Hai Van pass, this place owns a beautiful wild landscape, suitable for weekend camping or holiday. Van village has 3 popular campsites: Coconut Beach, Chinh Beach and Xoan Beach. There are many vacant, flat lands for camping, swimming, picking coconuts, catching crabs, snails … From the foot of Hai Van pass, just move about 2-3 more, there will be a motorbike parking service. It takes about 1 hour to walk from the parking point to Van village. Coming to Van village, you will enjoy the fresh, quiet space with beautiful beaches, blue and blue rows whispering in the wind … Not too developing tourism, Van village retains the pristine beauty of the Central Coast. Photo: Tran Trung Hieu. Some note: – From March to September is the right time to camp in Van village. – Tourists should come here in the early morning because the check-in street is sunny when the sun is high. – The village is isolated from the city. Visitors should prepare all necessary camping equipment prior to arrival. – If you have time to travel far, you should choose Xoan beach for camping. This is a pretty pristine check-in point. 2. Trung Luong picnic area 30km from Quy Nhon city, Trung Luong picnic area (Phu Cat, Binh Dinh), is a favorite camping spot for many moving devotees. The attraction for visitors is the tents next to the beach, combining unique miniatures. Here, you will camp in a small valley, surrounded by rocky mountains with sea view. Photo: Trung Luong Picnic Area. Some note: – Picnic ticket price is about 40,000 VND / person. – Overnight tents: 300,000 VND / 2 people (depending on time). – Campfire: 500,000 VND / night (for groups of tourists). – Food: From 65,000 to 420,000 VND. – Ong Nui Pagoda, Victory Monument relic of Nui Ba, Thien Hung Tu … are a few nearby attractions. 3. Coco Beach Camp About 160 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Coco Beach Camp (Binh Thuan) is the choice of many young people who want to rest, relax and camp overnight in the sea.

Readers Tran Tuan shared his journey through 3 majestic caves located deep in the core zone of Phong Nha Ke Bang.
Pygmy (Quang Binh) is recognized by the British Royal Cave Association (BCRA) as the 4th largest cave in the world. Located in the system of Tiger Cave (Tiger Cave), this is a beautiful trekking route for those who love to explore and conquer adventure.

The majestic cave contains a primeval forest inside. Photo: Dang Thuy Duong.

The journey to discover the full length of Tiger Cave, Over Cave and Pygmy Cave is currently not conquered by many tourists. These caves are considered masterpieces of nature, with wild and magnificent landscapes.

Below is a 3 day 2 night schedule of readers Tran Tuan.

Journeys:

Mountain climbing: 20 km

Cave discovery: 5.5 km

Swimming pool: 300 m (optional)

Minimum age to participate: 12 years old

Cost:

Tour price does not include air tickets: 7.7 million VND (with 20% discount)

Homestay 2 nights: 700,000 VND

2-way airport shuttle: 1.2 million VND

Schedule:

I flew at 18:00 from Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), about 20 o’clock then landed at Dong Hoi airport (Quang Binh), boarded a transfer to the homestay to rest to prepare for the journey the next day.

The first day

At 7:00 am, the group gathered for breakfast, then listened to the tour guide introduce briefly about the schedule and some safety regulations during the trip.

8:00 am, the group starts to move to the starting point. 9am start to go through the forest, the first move is quite easy, the group will stop for lunch and rest in the middle of the forest for about 1 hour.

Members will receive an overview of the trip before commencing.

After lunch break, you will continue moving, at 15:00 the group will approach Pygmy cave, the campsite will be right at the mouth of the cave.

After more than half a day walking through the forest, the members were quite tired, so after arranging the furniture and dividing the tents for each person, the group went to the pool to bathe. Dinner at 5:00 pm, the group exchange and chat until 9pm, ending the first day.

The scene appeared majestic, overwhelming.

Monday

After breakfast, the porters (porters) will assist people wearing climbing protective equipment to proceed deep inside Pygmy cave. Yesterday to the cave entrance was overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery. This is the time when the whole group is quite tired.

Inside the cave, after climbing for about 10 m, it will cross the dinosaur’s spine, continue to follow the seat belts along the cliffs to the back door.

The members entered the Pygmy cave later.

After leaving Pygmy cave, you will continue to move the forest path for about 30 minutes to reach the mouth of Over cave. Preparing the safety equipment, the members of the delegation began to move through the cave, about 3.2 km long and about 1.5 hours of traveling.

The inside of the cave has absolutely no light. Flashlight is both a tool to observe the road as well as to watch giant stalactites with different shapes.

Continue the journey to explore Hang Over. Photo: Dang Thuy Duong.

This unique stalactite system was formed hundreds of millions of years ago. The highlight in the cave is a huge 125 m deep hole called “Massive Attack” containing dry limestone wells and cave pearls of varying sizes and shapes.

Beautiful moving gems.

Leaving Over cave, the group will rest for lunch. Then continue across the forest to reach the mouth of the Tiger cave.

The group will leave the luggage on the bank and start swimming through the underground river in the cave (about 150 m), the water in the river is clear and cool. At the end of the underground river is a beautiful view, the stone steps covered with green grass, the stalactite platform above has water pouring down like a shower.

Then the group moved to another way inside the Tiger cave, swimming about 500 meters through the Kong Collapse sinkhole. This section, the baggage will be loaded onto the buoy. At 4:00, the group arrives at Kong Collapse, which is the camping ground for the second night. The landscape at Kong Collapse, according to Tuan, is the most beautiful in the whole trip.

The third day

On the morning of the third day, the group will swing on the cliffs of Kong Collapse to take pictures. After breakfast, you will swim about 300 meters to reach the exit (this move you can choose to take a float boat, because going through a long physical journey sometimes not feeling well).

At the exit, after changing clothes and bringing their luggage, the group will go to the forest to return to the gathering point.

14:00 will arrive at the gathering point, and take the shuttle bus back to the tour office at 15:00, ending the journey.

I stayed at the homestay for one night and took a morning flight from Dong Hoi to Tan Son Nhat at 10:00 am the next morning.

The whole group ended the journey impressively.

Some note:

Should use backpacks with support belts at the hips and chest to reduce pressure on the shoulders

Must use trekking shoes, wearing regular sneakers will cause more difficulties, and if the shoes have drainage ditches and dry as quickly as possible.

Clothing should be cool and light

Should bring a small towel to wet wipe the body, effervescent tablets, energy bars, patches, muscle pain relievers, flashlight, knee protector thick or covered with metal pad, gloves with good grip, dry shampoo

No need to carry too many backup chargers because in the condition of loss of signal, the phone can be maintained for quite a long time

This trip does not require too much fitness, but if you have training for the trip, it’s still better.

Cloud Tour Highlights: National Parks

France has 11 national parks and nature reserves, accounting for about 10% of the country’s total area. They are home to many rare plants and animals. The two national parks in the Alps in eastern France are the Vanoise National Park and the Ecrins National Park.

The Vanoise National Park was established in 1963 and is the first national park in France. It is a sister park with the Grand Paradiso National Park in Italy, sharing a 14-kilometer border. Vanoise National Park is located in the province of Savoie, with a diverse geological environment, including mountains with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters and open river valleys. The original glaciers are still preserved. Due to the special terrain and climatic environment, there are about 2,000 animal species and more than 2,400 plant species in the Vanoise National Park.

The Ecoland National Park in the southern Alps was awarded the title of “European Alpine Park” by the European Commission. There are 150 mountains above 3000 meters above sea level and about 10,000 hectares of glaciers. Traveling here, you can see the vast mountain pastures and distinctive valleys. The charming pastoral scenery softens the wild beauty of the mountains and brings shocking visual effects.

Photo/Emparis Paric National des Ecrins official website copyright: Carlo Ayesta

These two parks in the Alps are a paradise for hikers. The park has launched a series of hiking routes in accordance with the four seasons, age groups and different exercise intensities. From hiking for the whole family for children to high-intensity training for outdoor sports enthusiasts, you can find a suitable route here to enjoy the Alps. Close contact.

What is rare is that these two parks are very close to famous ski resorts, such as Chamonix, Courchevel, Megeve, Meribel, etc. The snow season of higher altitude ski resorts can last until the end of March or even later . Come here in summer. June to July is when the lavender is in full bloom in the southern part of the French Oroa region, where the park is located, and the vast sea of purple flowers covers the entire valley.

Every November, step on the squeaky leaves from the park and drive 40 minutes to the Beaujolais area. Don’t forget to taste a glass of new wine before heading to Peruges to experience the authentic medieval French town .
