Catch the market trend

According to the representative in charge of the global elevator industry of GS E&C Group (Korea), the demand for elevators will continue to grow in the near future due to the positive push from the economy in general and the market. construction and real estate market in particular in Vietnam. Every year, tens of thousands of elevators are put into operation and this number shows no sign of stopping. To access this potential market, GS E&C Group built a factory to manufacture elevators & escalators in Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province. The group has put the most modern Korean technology production line into operation, producing elevators in the high-end segment with a speed of up to 7 meters per second. To be proactive in terms of technology and quality, the group has developed a research center with a large force of Korea’s leading elevator experts engaged in the entire research, design and production process, ensure that elevators and escalators are suitable and meet domestic and export standards and regulations. At the same time, building an elevator test tower with a journey higher than 100m right in the GS Vietnam – VGSI elevator factory in Dong Nai, this is considered a solution to ensure safety and quality criteria for high-speed ranges. Levels and loads in the elevator must be tested at this tower before being shipped to supply high-rise projects in Vietnam and the world. Improve strong technology VGSI elevators & escalators are designed with the aim of optimizing usability features, being simple in operation but still ensuring optimal aesthetics. Exquisite & spacious interior, integrated with modern, fast intelligent control technologies, intuitively simple to use, increasing convenience, making users comfortable. VGSI elevators are installed with a multi-stage air purification system to help remove large dust particles, using an activated carbon filter to remove unpleasant odors and other harmful gases in the elevator, preventing particles from entering the elevator. fine dust by HEPA technology. UV germicidal lamps and anti-virus handrails are also installed, contributing to the general cleaning of the air environment inside the elevator cabin. Innovation in after-sales service operations – future trend GS Elevator Vietnam – VGSI is entering the digital era 4.0 and is gradually changing the way elevator manufacturers provide maintenance services in the future. In order to improve the safe and reliable operation of elevators & escalators, VGSI installed a system for real-time operation of elevators and escalators. This system connects to elevators and escalators on the GMS/Internet cloud platform. This strong connection helps to predict the problem of elevator equipment, immediately the technician is there to handle it before the customer calls to report the problem. This system also helps to track the history of repair and replacement requests in the day, week, month, year as well as track down to the minute response time of elevator & escalator services provided by VGSI. . Focusing on elevator & escalator performance, we apply ZeMS solution which is a preventive maintenance system that will soon help engineers predict the life of equipment to come up with repair solutions. Repair and upgrade effective elevators & escalators. Besides, we have been setting up warranty & maintenance centers for elevators and escalators within a travel radius of only a few minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes in many provinces and cities throughout the country, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Da Nang…etc., as well as set up repair, warranty & maintenance centers right in the building where GS Vietnam – VGSI strategically cooperates and provides elevators like high-class apartment buildings Phuc Dat Tower Connect 2, Van Phuc City urban area, factories with extremely large production capacity in Bac Ninh Industrial Park, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc … etc. Recently, to promote business activities, GS Vietnam – VGSI signed a cooperation agreement with Phuc Dat Group. Accordingly, GS Vietnam – VGSI will set up warranty office at Phuc Dat Tower project (Binh Duong) and support business in introducing the project to about 500 of its experts working in Nhon Trach area. , Di An, HCMC…. GS E&C Group is ranked 44th globally in construction & real estate. The Group has focused on the combination of smart technology (Smart Technology) and green factor (Green Factor) as the foundation to create valuable products.

Facebook is said to be developing a smartwatch with two cameras, expected to launch in 2022.
According to the The Verge , Facebook’s first smartwatch model will be equipped with a screen and 2 detachable cameras, serving users to take photos and record videos to post to the company’s applications. A front camera is for video calling, while the rear camera will be used to take pictures when removed from the watch frame.

Smartwatch is part of Facebook’s plan to compete with Apple and Google in the hardware market. The device also creates an opportunity for Facebook to confront Apple in the context of the not-so-good relationship between the two companies. Facebook is said to be developing the first smartwatch model. Illustration: The Verge. The conflict between Facebook and Apple stems from the privacy monitoring feature on iOS 14.5. While Apple takes a strong stance on privacy, requiring companies like Facebook to consult before tracking users, the social network argues that it affects advertising revenue, which is “chicken”. lay golden eggs” for the company. The smartwatch development information comes after Facebook faced many privacy-related scandals. According to the The Verge , they could make it difficult for Facebook to convince users to buy this smartwatch, especially when the product is also focused on health monitoring and heart rate monitoring. Many fear that information about health and heart rate could help Facebook better know each user, after the company’s services have collected too much data. An unnamed source said Facebook is also approaching companies that make accessories, helping to attach cameras to many items such as backpacks. Facebook may also work with some carriers in the US to integrate LTE connectivity, allowing the smartwatch to work independently without needing to be connected to a smartphone. Privacy is a concern on Facebook’s smartwatch. Photo: The Tech Lap. Facebook is said to launch the first smartwatch model in the summer of 2022 for $ 400, equivalent to Apple Watch Series 6. Expected sales for the device are several hundred thousand, lower than the 34 million Apple Watch units sold. sold out last year, according to Counterpoint Research . This is not the first time Facebook has launched a hardware product. In 2013, Facebook’s Android smartphone in cooperation with HTC failed miserably, while sales of the Oculus virtual reality headset and Portal smart display were not disclosed. However, a Facebook official said that sales of the Oculus Quest 2 are higher than all of the previous Oculus VR headsets combined. In 2019, Facebook considered buying Fitbit wearables before Google successfully negotiated. Facebook spent about $1 billion, devoting hundreds of employees to developing its first smartwatch. However, even with the camera and unique features, it is unlikely that this company’s device will be as well received as the Apple Watch. ‘I don’t want to be tracked by Facebook’ The iOS 14.5 update allows users to block Facebook from tracking their data. Therefore, advertising on this platform gradually becomes less effective.

The piloting of two-wheeled electric vehicles helps passengers form the habit of using green means of transport, while raising awareness of environmental protection. Thereby, strengthening solutions to manage road vehicles, reducing traffic congestion and environmental pollution in Hanoi city. Two types of electric vehicles are used, including electric scooters and electric bicycles. In which, there are 50 electric PCX cars of Honda Vietnam Company and 10 electric bicycles of QIQ Vietnam Company. Specifically, when passengers arrive at Aeon mall Ha Dong, if there is a need to use the BRT bus, there will be staff to assist in installing the application on the phone and declaring personal information. Once the information is accepted, the user can borrow a two-wheeled electric vehicle to move to the BRT rapid transit area at Van Khe point, then return the car and take the BRT bus. Similarly, with the process from BRT waiting room to Aeon mall Ha Dong. For those using private vehicles, they can drop off at the first and last two points and then borrow a two-wheeled tram to move to the regular bus stop or BRT bus. The process of moving from these two points is stored and monitored in the system through the previously installed application. The system also provides the necessary functions for the electric vehicle sharing model, including monitoring the battery condition of the vehicle and raising an alarm in the event of a problem.

Connecting between the modern and dynamic tourist city of Da Nang and the ancient and contemplative nature of Hue is the Hai Van Pass. In this place, there is still a vestige of time, a connecting place between the present and the past, which is the Don Ca Arch Bridge.

Don Ca arch bridge is located in the boundary between Da Nang and Hue, next to the monuments of Don Ca and Bai Bac Station, also known as Hai Van Bac station. This train station is a stopover for the North-South railway, connecting Hue’s Lang Co station with Da Nang’s Hai Van station. (Photo: Internet) (Photo: Internet) This destination located between Hue and Da Nang has a beauty like a painting in a wonderland but is little known because this place is hidden at the foot of Don Ca bridge. This bridge is located across the pass, at the foot is a gently flowing stream. Surrounding the arch bridge is surrounded by majestic mountains and forests, the green color of nature makes the stone pillars stand out in a corner of the sky. (Photo: Internet) The scenery on the way to Don Ca arch bridge is very poetic, like in fairy tales. A few scattered houses on both sides of the road, the rows of green trees stretching along the winding track will make you want to immerse yourself forever in that fairy world. (Photo: Internet) (Photo: Internet) Don Ca arch bridge is a railway bridge, in terms of structure, the foot of the bridge forms dome compartments, with towering stone pillars. It is the design of that dome bridge that many people associate them with the shape of the gates in heaven, so this place is also fondly called “heaven’s gate”. About every 30 minutes, a red and blue train crosses the bridge once. If you are lucky, you will have the opportunity to see this very interesting scene. (Photo: Internet) Almost separate from the real world, Don Ca arch bridge is also likened to a princess sleeping in the middle of a green, peaceful and beautiful forest.
Viettel’s technicians have installed 1,000 cameras in isolation areas of Bac Giang. Viettel Group said that, following the direction of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, within seven days, Viettel completed the installation and integrated connection of 3,000 surveillance cameras in isolated areas of the country. northern provinces. Particularly for 130 isolation facilities in 125 communes of Bac Giang province – the locality that is experiencing the most stressful situation in the country, Viettel has mobilized maximum resources to install 1,000 more cameras within five days, quickly. double the normal rate. All image data from the camera is integrated into a centralized management system at the Control Center. The system of application of cloud computing technology allows the National Steering Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee and the Management Division in the isolated area to monitor images 24/7 according to decentralization. By deploying Viettel’s cameras, epidemic prevention and control agencies can monitor all activities in isolation areas from the 24-hour management system, minimizing possible developments. The epidemic situation is more serious when the human and material resources for the province’s surveillance have been mobilized to the maximum capacity. To ensure the safety of officials, employees and society, Viettel’s technical personnel participating in the campaign at isolated locations are fully equipped with protective equipment for epidemic prevention, and trained in epidemic prevention skills. and at each point of staffing to carry out the whole process, from surveying the location until the camera is fully integrated into the centralized management system. After completing the task, Viettel’s staff members are isolated for 21 days at home according to regulations. Mr. Le Dang Dung, General Director of Viettel Group said: “As the country’s key technology enterprise, Viettel is responsible for contributing technology solutions to realize national goals. With the spirit of soldiers, we are always present on the front lines to ensure the safety of the people and society.”

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City has agreed to pilot Mobike public bicycles in District 1, with the expectation of reducing traffic congestion, reducing environmental pollution and increasing connectivity.
However, to do that is not easy because many years ago, Hanoi also failed with this model because it did not meet the needs of users.

Applying technology to public bicycles The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has concluded on the proposal to pilot the Mobike public bicycle in District 1. The project will be piloted by Tri Nam Group Joint Stock Company (Tri Nam Company) as an investor. invest 388 vehicles arranged in 43 locations in district 1 and along the project to organize priority lanes for buses on Dien Bien Phu and Vo Thi Sau streets (District 3). According to the HCM City Department of Transport, the city currently has 22 black spots for traffic jams, especially during peak hours. The increase in the number of private vehicles puts pressure on traffic and leads to serious environmental pollution. Contributing to solving this problem, the Department of Transport has proposed piloting the public bicycle model Mobike. According to Duong Dinh Trung – Tri Nam Group, the model is deployed for the main purpose of reducing traffic jams and reducing private vehicles, enhancing public services, and increasing connectivity with buses and metros in the future. It can be said that the public bicycle model is probably very useful in solving the problem of traffic jams and environmental pollution. However, recalling 7 years ago, this model failed because it did not meet the two words “convenience” when deployed in Hanoi. In order to avoid going into the “fallen path” of Hanoi, the HCM City Department of Transport said that it will deploy technology application in this model, in order to create the most convenience for people. “In the long term, it will be necessary to study the design of a dedicated bicycle road for circulation. The second is the application of science and technology to how to combine and integrate the cyclist software with the software of bus and metro riders and the public transport center that we manage to warn. soon the location of congestion or the risk of traffic jams to make it more convenient for users,” said the leader of the Department of Transport. Many concerns With the goal that by 2030, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will become two civilized and modern cities, free of traffic congestion. Therefore, although it cannot replace motorbikes, experts say that public bicycles can be considered as a useful platform to promote the development of “green transport”. But how to build a cycling culture and people see bicycles as useful means? Because with the pilot of public bicycles of Ho Chi Minh City, from the perspective of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hung – Southern Institute of Transport Science and Technology: If the project does not use the city budget, it is completely implemented by private enterprises. then it can be piloted on a small scale, if it fails, it will learn from experience to deploy for later stages. However, it is necessary to study the case that the number of bicycles will increase the disorder between vehicle lines, increase the risk of traffic jams, and the risk of traffic accidents in Ho Chi Minh City. Because the current state of vehicles is circulating according to the law of turbulent traffic. Cars and motorbikes are crowded, chaotic, traffic jams are constant. “Currently, Ho Chi Minh City does not have a separate lane for bicycles, which means that a large number of these vehicles will blend into the overloaded and disordered motorbike lanes, increasing complexity, causing congestion, traffic jams, and accidents. traffic accident” – Mr. Hung wondered. From another perspective, Dr. Vu Anh Tuan, director of the Viet Duc Traffic Research Center, said that public bicycle service is a suitable model in the current traffic trend. But for this service to be really useful, besides service quality, it is also necessary to support policies from the government. In addition, it is also necessary to have a specific view on the role of public bicycles in the city’s public transport development strategy, so that these types can develop together. “If we only stop at the pilot level without the support of the city, the probability of success is not high, if it is not attached to a common development policy, it will be easy to die prematurely” – according to Mr. Tuan. . Besides, many opinions also believe that it is necessary to balance supply and demand. Encouraging people to ride bicycles is a difficult but correct orientation in sustainable urban development in the future. The development of uncontrolled public bicycles in terms of quantity, maintenance, storage, parking space, dedicated lanes for users, awareness of vehicle preservation is a challenge for urban management. And it is still important to start from the people’s consciousness to build a culture of walking and cycling… Experiences of countries Looking at the experience of mobilizing people to use bicycles of other countries, we can see: with France in activities, bicycles ranked second in physical activities of the French, after walking. In order to do this, France has implemented many measures to limit vehicles in traffic, which are motorbikes and cars that do not meet emission standards. At the same time, set up 55,000 free bike stations in 42 cities; encourage and create maximum support for people traveling by bicycle, including the elderly and children. Up to now, bicycles are the last link in the chain of people’s multimedia (train – car – subway) movement. In the Netherlands, there are more bicycles than people, with 22 million bicycles per 17 million inhabitants. In which, 25% of the population rides a bicycle every day, if in urban areas, this figure is 50% and each Dutch person rides an average of 1,000 km annually by bicycle. However, these impressive numbers do not come naturally. Before the increase in automobiles from the 60s to the 70s of the last century, accompanied by the oil crisis, the Dutch government actively invested in infrastructure for the use of bicycles, changing the importance of bicycles. people’s points for them to use bicycles more since the 70s. To promote the use of bicycles, the Netherlands has developed a bicycle parking system and gives priority to bicycles over cars and motorbikes, creating the same infrastructure for bicycles as for cars. Along with that, the Netherlands also promotes communication and teaching about the benefits of cycling habits for students right from high school, encouraging people to use mobile applications to manage their work. ride bicycle. From these parameters, the Government calculates the necessary infrastructure planning for the best for cyclists. In China, the bicycle-sharing model was once seen as an opportunity to affirm its leading position in the nation’s global fight against climate change because of its compactness and friendliness. . In order to save energy and limit pollution, the Seoul Metropolitan Government of South Korea also aims to build a nationwide bicycle network by 2030.

As a trail connecting the two districts of Phong Tho, Lai Chau province and Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, the ancient stone road Pavi is a new discovery and has charm for visitors who love trekking.
With trekking enthusiasts, the ancient stone road Pavi has now become a point to conquer every time you come to the Northwest. Up to now, this road is 100 years old since the commencement date.

Pavi stone road was started construction in 1920 and inaugurated in 1927 with pebbles and large rocks lined up from the hands of the villagers at the foot of Nhìu Co San mountain. The construction of this road is done entirely by hand by indigenous peoples. The total length of the road is about 80 km, which is a road connecting the two provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai to transport cardamom, minerals and other goods. The path through primeval forests, cardamom forest and soaring mountains in the Northwest, the road is beautiful and not too steep, wagons can walk. The French also built an airport on a large plateau near Nhiu Co San village to gather and transport goods. Pavi ancient stone road. The ancient stone road has been likened to the lifeline of traffic and is named after the French Congregation Pavie. This is a road crossing the magnificent Nhìu Co San mountain (Horn Trau mountain) to connect Sang Ma Sao commune, Bat Xat district (Lao Cai) with Sin Suoi Ho commune of Phong Tho district (Lai Chau). To form this road, nearly 50,000 Hmong and Dao people sweated and their lives for 5 years to complete 80km of stone trails. With the development of modern roads connecting the two provinces of Lao Cai – Lai Chau through O Quy Ho pass, the road is gradually forgotten and left in the middle of the deep forest, but about 30 km of rocky roads still exist until today. now on. However, only about 17km remains almost intact after 100 years. The stone path is like sleeping in the middle of a great forest, with many historical and cultural sediments. On the way to explore, we catch a village of the people, passing through primeval forests or poetic bamboo forests or waterfalls like fairyland … The ancient stone road Pavi always has a special attraction for adventurous tourists. Exploring this trail is usually those who love climbing, trekking and jogging. To conquer the ancient stone road Pavi, visitors will begin trekking from the village of Sàng Ma Pho, through the relatively unspoiled forest where the road is most preserved. There are still traces of the graves of those who participated in the road construction on the roadside. The moss-covered rocky path, zigzagging through the forest will eventually bring the trekker foot to the old French airport at the foot of Nhiu Co San mountain, which is also the end of this heritage journey. Conquering Pavi Road is quite leisurely, but there are many beautiful experiences with views from above to the terraced fields of ethnic minorities, feeling the power of people on the mossy stone road in the enigmatic forest. and watch the family of Nhìu Co San mountain standing in the clouds. Previously, in 2019, the People’s Committee of Bat Xat district (Lao Cai) and the People’s Committee of Phong Tho district (Lai Chau) conducted surveys to connect and develop tourism for this route. After this field survey, the ancient stone road Pavi has really promoted the tourism potential of two communes and two districts, as well as preserved the cultural and historical values of the ancient stone road Pavi. In particular, connectivity in tourism development promotes socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction for local people. The exploitation of tourism on this road has contributed to creating an attractive new tourist destination, diversifying tourism products, attracting more capital to invest in tourism, and at the same time being an opportunity for the units. Tourism business to meet, exchange, expand cooperation, create quality tourism products to serve tourists. Surely this place will be an impossible place for those who love nature, love to explore. If you want to try the feeling once in your life going back to the past, you can choose a 2 day 3 night itinerary to go with the ancient stone road Pavi.

Amazon Sidewalk will connect things like yard lights, pet trackers, or sensors on mailboxes. Sidewalk’s aim is to provide wireless infrastructure for these devices by turning Amazon devices like Echo speakers into connection points that any Sidewalk-enabled device can use. Amazon will use Sidewalk’s low-energy bluetooth connections as a home wifi backup network. On the Echo front, Amazon plans to take advantage of Sidewalk’s low-energy Bluetooth connections as a backup network for your home wifi, which means better stability during device setup and Reconnect to the router faster when you update the network name or password. Amazon says that Sidewalk is expected to support multiple wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Lora low-bandwidth protocol in the 900 MHz band and others, opening the network to more third parties while providing the ability to connectivity and better battery life. Developer LoRa Semtech Corp. said they are partnering with Amazon on the Sidewalk initiative. With the development of technology, many normal buying and selling activities have been digitized, bringing convenience to both buyers and sellers, typically the VECA application.

Pictures of aunts buying cicadas on the road. Photo: MINH HOANG Every year, Vietnam uses millions of tons of packaging types including plastic and paper. In which, about 40% of paper packaging and 27% of plastic packaging is collected and recycled. That means the rest is discharged into the environment, affecting marine ecosystems, polluting soil and water environments (rivers, lakes, canals, etc.) and groundwater pollution. According to the information at the scientific workshop “Promoting the role of science and technology in ocean plastic waste management”, Vietnam is considered one of the 5 countries that discharge the most plastic waste into the environment (about 1.8 million tons / year). To help limit the above situation, you learn how to properly classify and collect waste, this will help increase the recycling rate, contribute to protecting the surrounding environment. First, please install the VECA app for your phone here, compatible with Android 5.0 and above devices. Basically, this app will help you connect with the ticks collecting and buying bottles, making the purchase and sale of bottle ticks simpler through the appointment scheduling section. Create an account to use the application to sell bottles online. Photo: MINH HOANG To get started, you need to enter your phone number and full name for the contact. The main interface of VECA is relatively simple, the scrap price list is clearly publicized by each item, including newspaper, paper, carton, solid iron … The prices of scrap are made transparent. Photo: MINH HOANG If your house has many bottles, you can click on the button I sell, then set the address of home / work / factory … and choose the corresponding time (weekdays or Saturday, Sunday), at the end together click Confirm. The system will automatically send your request to the uncle collecting bottles. User can manage collection requests in History section. Also at the main interface, you can refer to good tips related to the sorting and disposal of waste. Set a collection schedule for bottle ticks. Photo: MINH HOANG Currently, VECA has just deployed the service of buying bottle at home in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City, and is expected to expand its operating area in the near future. Note, because the application is in the process of testing, there will definitely be an error, readers can submit suggestions for the developer to improve and fix in the next version. In general, the features that VECA offers are relatively useful, leveraging the technology platform to make ordinary purchases simpler, faster, and connecting the seller’s needs with buyers. , thereby helping to increase income for both parties and limit waste into the environment.

According to Mr. Nguyen Bach Tung, representative of the Organizing Committee of the Program, this second year, Hanoi has implemented the centralized promotion program of Hanoi city. In 2020, the program has brought encouraging results with the revenue of businesses participating in the event increasing from 100% – 200%, the number of other visitors to visit and shopping increased from 200% – 315% compared to normal days. With the results achieved by the program, it contributes to economic development, boost consumption, and perform the dual task of preventing the COVID-19 epidemic and ensuring economic development. Representative of BigC Long Bien Trade Center said that the unit participated in the program and achieved unexpected results. Especially the program “HaNoi Midnight sale without sleep” has attracted a large number of customers to shop, the unit is also very passive, so it has not prepared enough goods to serve the shopping needs of people. This year, the unit continues to register to participate in the program and wants the Organizing Committee to promote the program earlier so that people know and the unit also prepares goods to better serve consumers. This year, the opening ceremony of the program will be held at 8:00 p.m. on April 29 at King Ly Thai To Monument Square, Hoan Kiem District and officially launch demand stimulus, discount and promotion activities focusing on the months. 5, 7 and November. The program has the participation of 30 promotional centers gathering together with 2,000 promotional points throughout Hanoi city. Besides, there will be a series of attractive stimulus events. Accordingly, expected from April 29, 2021 – May 1, 2021, the “Nha Xinh for you” stimulus event at the sidewalk of Dinh Tien Hoang street, Hoan Kiem district with the scale of 25-30 display booths. , promote and stimulate demand in the fields of construction, furniture, home decoration, real estate. Hanoi summer shopping tourism stimulus festival 2021 at 30-50 major tourist and shopping destinations in the area. The launching ceremony of the program is expected to be held on May 21, 2021 and there will be a tourist stimulating booth, summer shopping taking place in 03 days 21-23 at Times City Square / Royal City with the participation of tourism businesses, transportation, airlines, supermarkets, commercial centers … for consumers to experience shopping and promotion. In order to stimulate the promotion and consumption of products of the Program One commune per commune (OCOP) and also the highlight of 2021, Hanoi organized the 2021 Hanoi traditional product stimulus month, the theme “Hanoi. past and present “at about 50-100 business points of participating businesses in the area. The launching ceremony of the program is expected to be held on July 10 and there will be a booth to stimulate tourism, summer shopping taking place in 3 days from 10 to 12/7 at Bat Trang craft village with the participation of businessmen. organizations, individuals trading traditional products, craft villages, OCOP … In November 2021, the Department of Industry and Trade of Hanoi coordinated with the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism, to implement the program of the Hanoi Promotion Month in 2021 and the special stimulus and promotion programs on the last occasion. The year includes the opening ceremony of the Promotional Month Hanoi year 2021 on October 29, 2021; the opening ceremony of the “Cash Free Day” event; event “Tourism Promotion Day” in 3 days October 29 – October 31, 2021 …

A giant ship ran aground, the engine of global commerce choked. Without too much explanation, one can imagine the ‘phobia’ nature of the Suez Canal.
However, the Ever Given ship’s trauma raises a question: If such an unexpected incident happened again, could the world still have to wait for a successful rescue operation?

West Bank, and… Arctic Ocean One thing is easy to see: When the Egyptian dredgers devote themselves to “working day and night” to bring that 400m long and 220,000-ton ship back into the ocean, they don’t just forget to sleep. because the Suez Canal is one of the country’s greatest pride, not only because there is $ 9 billion of cargo stuck every day, but because the circulation of boats on the Suez Canal is closely related. to their own piece of rice. As Eslam Negm – an Egyptian sailor involved in dredging and rescue – shared: “We – that is the majority of Egyptians – live off this canal”. From there, no need for accurate data, anyone can imagine the huge profits that this artery maritime route brings. And therefore, it should not be surprising, given the immediate alternatives to the Suez Canal (or at least the worst case scenario) proposed in the vehicles. international mass news. First is Israel. According to The Arab Weekly on March 30, 2021, the congestion of the Suez Canal prompted discussion of alternatives to the Suez Canal – including Israel’s Ben Gurion Canal project linking the Red Sea. with the Mediterranean (also known as the Israel Canal) – come alive. The Israelis see this route as a competitor to the Suez Canal. Tel Aviv intends to turn the Israeli canal into a multifaceted project, such as building small towns, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs around the waterway. Outline of the Israeli canal project. Before that, on March 25, Business Insider (USA) announced the content of a secret memo written in 1963, which was declassified in 1996. Accordingly, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory of America used to study a project using nuclear explosions to dig a 160-mile (257 km) canal across the Negev desert in Israel, connecting the Mediterranean with the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea (Red Sea). Historian Alex Wellerstein – who also mentioned that profile on his personal social networking site Twitter – thinks this is a model option. However, in 1967, when the Arab-Israeli war broke out, the Suez Canal had to be closed for eight years, no one said anything about the Israeli canal. That is not difficult to understand, because in the 60s of the last century, trade activities as well as the volume of goods and especially the interdependence of all factors are not rich and diverse. form, development, complexity … as present – 21st century. The problem is: Because of the implications of nuclear radiation, there is no guarantee that neighboring (and still skeptical or hostile) Muslim Arab countries will allow Israel to redeploy the mining project. Ben Gurion channel. Meanwhile, when 380 ships were waiting at the Suez Canal, Russia announced: Bringing the project of the Northern maritime route along the North North Ocean connecting the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, and committed Russia will ensure the safety of this new traffic route, as well as ensure that transportation costs will be cheaper. This sea route shortens 40% of the journey from China to Egypt to Europe, and the journey time is less than 15 days. Due to climate change, the amount of floating ice on the above line is less and less, the travel will be easier and easier. The Russian side pledged to let the icebreaker come to save any merchant who got caught in the ice on the way. Russia alone plans to use this maritime route to export its oil and gas. Those are the inevitable movements stemming from the fact, when everyone has seen how vulnerable the modern global supply chain is. That fact makes any country have conditions to prepare a backup plan, at the same time looking for opportunities to startle on the logistic “piece of cake”. Eternal aura However, we can believe that every Suez Canal project may not be of reference value, but will never achieve its goal of completely replacing the 193.3 long sea journey. km, connecting the Hong Hai with the Mediterranean. Just as the Panama Canal passing through Central America connecting the Atlantic with the Pacific, history and reality give the Suez Canal an incomparable position, by any competitor. Compared with the northern maritime route that Russia is planning to deploy, the absolute advantage of the Suez Canal is not not afraid of freezing in winter, but … near the “oil navel” of the planet. The position on the European – Asia – African junction of the Suez Canal is also extremely important, when North Africa – Middle East has never been a “hot spot”, never a place in the Middle East. The world’s leading power mind competes for influence on the global geopolitical map. Above all, the Mediterranean is the most important commercial center (if not the most important commercial center) of humankind since ancient times, also the site of a series of ancient civilizations. . 19,000 ships pass through the Suez Canal each year Israel may still proceed with the digging of the Ben Gurion Canal. However, “human peace” will be the biggest obstacle facing the Jewish state. On March 29, when Egyptian President El Sisi announced: “Egypt has succeeded in ending the crisis of the ship stranded in the Suez Canal, and bringing everything back to normal. This is all about it.” the world is reassured about the transportation of goods and their needs through this lifeline “, it can be said that he has made all the friendly Muslim Arab states reassured to” ignore them. “with every other alternative, especially the idea of using another canal to benefit Israel. Old habits and relationships, whatever you say, always play a core role, even in terms of interests. Of course, Egypt would have to do much better than its part, to make sure as much as possible that an incident like the Ever Given ship ran aground – that is, the global supply chain was interrupted by a very windy night. But, of course, the era when famous maritime restaurants such as Vasco da Gama, Bartholomeus Diaz or Ferdinand Magenllan had to go around the Cape of Good Hope in the southern end of Africa to reach India was also far in the past. . Mankind will not return to those days, but it is not necessary to have another way, after more than 100 years familiar with the Suez winds … * Every year, the Suez Canal brings Egypt an average profit of about $ 6 billion, with about 19,000 ships passing, carrying goods equivalent to 10% of the total global trade turnover. In 2020, under the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the paralysis of the global trade machine, this figure will still reach USD 5.61 billion. * Since digging canals by traditional methods will be extremely expensive, the Americans are expected to use the Peaceful Nuclear Explosions (Pneums) method. This is a viable option, because this nearly 160-mile canal, 130 miles of uninhabited desert, could have nuclear detonation. According to calculations, to dig each mile of the canal, it is necessary to detonate 4 nuclear devices (temporarily called the atomic bomb) of the size of 2 million tons of TNT. So a total of 520 atomic bombs or 1.04 billion tons of TNT need to be detonated to dig this canal.

I went to Google, typed the phrase ‘disconnected’ and received a series of headlines like this: ‘The reasons why you lose your internet connection’, ‘How to fix the loss of internet connection’, ‘direction How to use the computer to lose wifi connection ‘,’ Why does the internet sometimes suddenly lose connection … ‘.
I was startled to realize a truth: for a long time, every time I think of “connecting”, it seems that modern people often think of concepts such as wifi, internet, social networks, information technology. .. Naturally I wish: in the forest of the above titles, wish there was a title “How to fix the loss of connection with the great narratives”.

Humans have survived up to this point, after all, because of connectivity. Individual men joined gens, individual clans joined together into tribes, individual tribes joined together into nations. By the time of globalization, science and technology take the throne, individual countries can even be hyperconnected to form super nations. Super-national technology manufacturing corporations, super-national pharmaceutical corporations, supranational media corporations – those are long-familiar modern human concepts.

Facebook is also a super-country, Google is also a super-nation, these are new concepts that people have been gradually adopting. Like the ancient tribes, today’s super-states can function only if each of the parts of it were connected to each other. And the tool of the connection is the internet, the wifi, the online meeting software, the dialogue functions of various types of social networks. One cannot imagine what would happen if the entire world lost the internet for about an hour?

Economic, communication damage is obvious, but there are even more devastating losses: a nation or a super-state could face the risk of collapse. Therefore, it is easy to understand that “losing connection to the internet” / “losing connection to wifi” is one of the most permanent obsessions of modern people.

But, not everyone uses the internet in a useful way. Not everyone participates in social media responsibly. From the EU to the US, from Vietnam to Brazil, people are everywhere complaining about fake news – malicious news – bad news spreading on the internet. The falsehood is so terrible that it has contributed significantly to creating an era that researchers call the “post-truth era”, where the nature of the truth is in many cases less important than the fact that it is. launching bad – real information types that hit the crowd’s emotions. Of course, the pre-internet era also had fake news, but it did not have the distribution environment and created many consequences like it is now.

Then again, now people are complaining about this YouTuber snatching the view sentence, causing social pain, tomorrow people complain about another YouTuber making clips poisoning children. It is the nature of the internet that anyone can participate, as long as there is a technological connection. The essence of the social network is that anyone can publish / write articles / comment, either with their real accounts, or with the multitude of virtual accounts that they can create.

Is this a consequence of ineffective educational processes in less civilized countries? Are not! No. of course! Because even the world’s most civilized countries are also having a headache with this problem! These are the inevitable metamorphosis of the first process of contact between real ecosystems and virtual ones? If we believe so, when will this process stop, everything becomes formal and orderly? Looking deeply, on the human scale as a whole (and not just in a few small countries), all these horrible phenomena are probably the inevitable consequence of a human process. away from the great narratives.

From about the late 19th century and before, when performing an action, a person on earth is often dominated by what factors? The first factor is definitely law. Neither was the Middle Aged East or the West, before wishing to marry a person, wanting to join a war or wanting to sacrifice themselves to the gods had to answer the question: whether their actions were appropriate. with local laws / regulations?

But, in addition to the rule of law, there is also the domination of the great narratives, making people face the second question: do our actions violate the standards set by the great narratives? In many cases, the great narratives set strict standards but in many other cases it helped people to be aware of their responsibilities to the race.

Christianity is a great narrative. Buddhism is a great narrative. Islam is a great narrative. Capitalism and communism are also types of great narrative. Believe it or not, believe in each particular narrative is your right, but for sure, people dominated by the narratives often have a higher sense of community responsibility than instinctive people. So researchers believe that it is the great narratives that construct society.

In other words, the narrative creates culture, creates history, creates people with a distinct “human” character. The narrative is a concept associated with postmodern philosophers, can be understood simply as the common / universal things that a community or all humanity has experienced in history. If it is not in the state of “same experience”, it can appear in the state “with hope”, “on the same direction” to create universal values.

When you believe in a great narrative like Buddhism, you will certainly believe in the law of cause and effect. Hundreds of administrative laws in a country will govern your behavior, but the laws of cause and effect will govern your perceptions. Because of the law of cause and effect, you will not be able to do evil. Do not dare to do evil. Do not think about evil. If you believe in a great narrative like Confucianism, you will pursue the qualities of kindness – ceremony – meaning – intelligence – of a gentleman. And, the more people who believe in such great narratives, the more beautiful the human-to-human behavior in a society, the more repulsive an evil evil will be.

By the postmodern era in the West (around the late 19th century), people began to fall into a state of aversion to great narratives. This may come from the harsh rules that some great narratives often make. But, instead of trying to get rid of those constraints, maintaining its proven states of superiority, people tend to break it down.

Philosopher F.Lylotard observed that at that time the “great histories were torn apart,” the fragmentary, local histories simply appeared. Researchers around the world encourage the transition from “great narrative” to “mini narrative”, where social people sink, psychological people emerge, conscious people become roles. side, the human unconsciously becomes the main role. This transition has its reasons, but when it goes from one extreme to the other, contemporary society inevitably sees the disintegration of social constructs. And that disintegration is the germ that creates chaos in the ecosystems that witness human-human compatibility.

“Loss of connection”, if you mention that phrase, people today will definitely think about “lost internet connection” and may shrug their shoulders in fear. But, actually the biggest frightening reality is that people today have somehow lost connection with the great narratives. The stereotypical return to the previous great narratives is certainly not the way out, but selective return – conversion – and renaissance may be the way out? Or, today people can create new great narratives, if not for themselves, also for their descendants in the next tens or hundreds of years.

Losing connection with the great narratives is likely to be one of the greatest human tragedies.
