Largest Lake Windermere in England The romantic wedding photography session turns tragic when the precious diamond engagement ring unfortunately falls into the lake. Lucky for the couple Rebecca Chaukria and Viki Patel found a ‘gentleman’ right before the official wedding ceremony. Angus Hosking, a free diver, received a wedding invitation after finding an engagement ring that fell from a woman’s hand at the bottom of Britain’s largest lake. Rebecca Chaukria, the girl who lost her engagement ring, said the special gift fell from her hand while taking wedding photos on a breakwater at Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in the UK. Viki Patel, her fiance, said that despite his best efforts, he could not see through the water to find a ring for Rebecca Chaukria. The couple returned to the hotel and contacted freediver Angus Hosking. This man quickly ran to and dived into the lake in search of a white gold ring with diamonds. Hosking used an underwater metal detector to search for the ring and within 20 minutes, after a few false detections, he brought the ring ashore and returned it to the couple. Viki Patel described the freelancer as an ‘excellent guy’, and when Angus Hosking returned to shore, the couple repeatedly thanked him. Angus Hosking is a volunteer with the Lake District diving center in Windermere. Previously, he helped clean up the lake, find and return items such as phones, rings, cameras and other valuables to tourists.

Ekaterinburg submarine of the Russian Navy. Photo: TASS Business Insider (USA) reported that the Delta-IV class submarine Ekaterinburg has spent nearly 2 years waiting at the port in Severodvinsk. Ekaterinburg’s decommissioning also marks the “final chapter” of the Delta class that has been the mainstay of the Soviet and Russian fleets of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines for decades. It is expected that Delta-class submarines will be replaced by advanced Borei-class ships. Delta IV class submarines are part of a group of 43 ballistic missile nuclear submarines with the first being launched in the early 70s of the last century. There are seven Delta IV submarines in service with the Russian Navy. Among them is the Podmoskovye which in 2016 was converted into a Special Mission submarine dedicated to intelligence missions. It is known that Ekaterinburg is the second ship of the Delta-IV class to be produced, built in 1985. On August 6, 1989, during Operation Behemoth, the Ekaterinburg submarine tested 16 R-29RM Shtil ballistic missiles. while in diving mode. The first launch was successful, but a fuel leak in the rocket during the second launch halted the test. The Ekaterinburg was fortunately unharmed. Not stopping there, in 2011, a serious fire occurred on the Ekaterinburg ship. The ship then had to undergo a three-year repair process.

The famous rock arch appeared Darwin’s Arch attracting millions of tourists to visit No matter how big or small, the shape of the stone arches makes us think that they are works of human hands, brains, and aesthetics. However, it is entirely the result of rock movement in nature after thousands of years, without human intervention. Impressive beauty has turned them into tourist destinations that attract many visitors from all over the world. However, the Ecuadorian Environment Ministry said the famous Darwin’s Arch off the Galapagos Islands had collapsed due to natural erosion. “The collapse of the natural arch of the Galapagos, located less than 1 km from the main Darwin island area, was due to natural erosion,” the report by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Environment said. The latest image shared by the authorities shows that only two stone pillars remain. The famous rock arch formed and was discovered in the northern part of the archipelago. Named after the famous British biologist Charles Darwin, the rock arch is a top diving site in the world Image of famous rock arch Darwin’s Arch has collapsed The Galapagos Islands, about 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador, have unique flora and fauna that are rare on Earth and are part of a biosphere reserve. The archipelago is a World Heritage Site, made up of 234 large and small islands. Four of them are home to about 30,000 people. This is a destination that attracts millions of tourists every year. The islands are also the place that inspired Charles Darwin to discover the theory of evolution in the 19th century. Prior to that, a big storm knocked down the Azure Window ‘Blue Window’, a famous natural beauty spot in Malta. Located on the small island of Gozo, Window Azure is the oldest rock formation found on the islands in Malta.

  Industry 4,000 years

The Persian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Mannar in Sri Lanka have been the center of the international pearl trade for more than 4,000 years. Since ancient times, the region has produced some of the world’s finest natural pearls, supplying the courts of the ancient kings and queens of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and later the Greek empires. , Roman and Byzantine. Kuwait was also once one of the centers of this industry in the Persian Gulf, with a history of developing the pearl industry at least four millennia. Pearl fishing in Kuwait had its heyday before the 19th century. (Source: Pinterest) Before the discovery of oil in the 1930s and extraction after World War II, the main economic activity in Kuwait and the Persian Gulf was the extraction of pearl resources mainly on the Arab side of the Persian Gulf. The history of pearl farming in the Persian Gulf goes back more than four millennia. References to this industry were made by early writers such as the Greek historian Pliny and the Roman geographer Ptolemy of the 2nd century AD. Historically, people living around the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Mannar discovered and appreciated the beauty and value of natural pearls created from mussels, opening the pearl industry. Ups and downs with history Since then, Kuwait’s pearl industry has experienced many ups and downs of history. At one stage, pearls became the main export product of the Gulf state, alongside horses, dates, timber and spices. From the early seventeenth century until the 1930s, the country’s economy was largely dependent on pearl diving off the coast of the Arabian Gulf, home to the richest reserves in the world. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Kuwait had nearly 700 pearl diving boats with a workforce of about 15,000 people. The pearl diving season usually lasts for 4 months, from mid-May to mid-September. In the remaining 8 months, traders often use ships to trade and fish offshore. It is the basis for Kuwait’s thriving maritime and shipbuilding industry. Kuwaiti fishermen regularly call at ports in the Middle East, the East coast of Africa, the Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka. Historical evidence shows that Kuwaiti pearl fishermen sailed as far as Mannar Bay, between the Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka, especially during the fishing season of these pearl fishing grounds. Natural pearls of Kuwait are thought to be caused by a combination of soil environment, water salinity, climatic conditions and accidental conditions when a small foreign object or grain of sand enters. inside the clams, mussels and stay in it. Irritated by this foreign object, the mussel creates a layer of mother-of-pearl that surrounds the intrusive sand. This process repeats for many years and creates a wonderful gem. For three centuries, Kuwait’s economy based on the pearl industry, seafaring and commerce has thrived relative to the rest of the region. It created a prosperous merchant class, but did not provide a steady income for much of the population, mainly pearl divers and supplementary workers. But there are ups and downs. The large-scale production of cultured pearls in Japan in the 1930s, and the Great Depression shortly thereafter, caused the traditional pearl industry in Kuwait to gradually decline. Pearl divers and their families are entering an unprecedented period of economic hardship. Fortunately, a promising new revenue stream has emerged. In 1938, oil was discovered in Kuwait. After World War II ended and oil extraction and exports were boosted, most of Kuwait’s population gradually emerged from its economic decline, and began to enjoy the fruits of its wealth. Pearl divers have found alternative work in the burgeoning oil industry. The pearl industry in Kuwait is also gradually disappearing… Find the return date However, even though life is full, the Kuwaiti people have not forgotten their old identity. The Kuwait Tower, one of the iconic works of Kuwait, is inspired by pearls, expressing the pride of the people about the ancient occupation of their ancestors. More importantly, the Kuwaiti government has worked to revive the natural pearl industry. Every June, Kuwait holds a month-long pearl diving festival, to pay tribute to the industry’s ancestors, who dedicated their lives to the pearl industry that formed the foundation of Kuwait’s wealth in the past year. past. The festivals also help Kuwait’s younger generation to recognize and appreciate the ups and downs that their ancestors went through in order to protect and preserve this glorious but potentially dangerous industry. Thereby, the festival also helps preserve the pearl diving tradition that has become an integral part of Kuwaiti culture. A Kuwaiti girl waits for the return of pearl divers during the 2019 Kuwaiti pearl diving festival (Photo: Gazi/Xinhua) Pearl diving in Kuwait is called “ghaus” and those who participate in diving are called “ghawawis”. Divers use traditional equipment such as “Dieng” (neck-basket), “hager” (anchor) and “fotam” (nose clip). The end of the festival called “qafal” is celebrated with traditional singing and dancing performances. The Kuwaiti public responded enthusiastically and participated in the festival, expressing their desire to preserve national traditions and culture. The festival also attracts international tourists and friends: Many are excited to take part in the diving competition after initial training. The pride of the “Kuwait pearl” also helps remind the people of Kuwait about the once glorious pearl industry of the Gulf nation. The “Kuwait Pearl” has a special design, 19th century style with the brilliant shine and ivory characteristic of natural pearls from the Persian Gulf, once incorporated by the first owner as a faceplate. necklace. The “Kuwait Pearl” has an almost perfect teardrop shape, weighs 64.35 carats, (12.87 grams), and measures 41.28 x 19.05 mm in length and width, respectively. It is known as the 6th largest natural pearl and one of the 12 rarest pearls in the world. The ‘Pearl of Kuwait’ (Source: Smithsonian Institution) The pearl’s current owner is Bond Street, jeweler Symbolic & Chase, purchased on November 24, 2004 for £150,000 ($270,000) and named it “Kuwait Pearl” in recognition. and a true reflection of the pearl’s natural origin. The sale was made at Christie’s in London from an anonymous private family consignment for auction in 2004.

Hon Son Island, also known as Lai Son, also known as Hon Son Rai, is located in Nam Du archipelago, Kien Giang province. Coming here, visitors can both experience climbing and scuba diving in a typical green space of coconut.
The island is located on the road from Rach Gia to Nam Du. To get to Hon Son, the nearest way is to go from Rach Gia port, with the means of speedboat. The first impression is that the island is very clean, there is a place to treat garbage, not throw it directly into the sea like in Nam Du island. Moreover, on the green island, you can see coconut everywhere.

Going to the island, the first impression is that the island is very clean and planted with many coconuts Conquering Ma Thien Lanh peak On Hon Son island, there are 7 peaks, of which Ma Thien Lanh is the most famous for its mysterious stories. With an altitude of 450m above sea level, this is the highest mountain in Hon Son island, so it attracts many tourists to visit and conquer. To climb the mountain without losing strength, the first night we booked a room at Lamien Lodge. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, on the way to the top of Ma Thien Lanh. The room is located entirely in the forest and has a view of the entire Hon Son sea from above. Here, you can be completely immersed in nature, use the direct spring water of Ma Thien Lanh peak and say no to air conditioning, hot and cold water. Note, when you choose to stay on the mountain, remember to only bring a backpack, not a suitcase, you will not be able to carry or pull it up because the road is quite difficult. However, if you bring a suitcase, there will be a pick up service for you, each up / down is 150,000 VND. In particular, the phone signal here is very poor, only occasionally available, only for direct calls, but cannot access the Internet, very suitable for those who need complete rest. A few notes when climbing – It is recommended to wear and bring clothes made of cool, sweat-absorbing fabrics to move freely.- Women who wear short clothes should use mosquito repellent, because forest mosquitoes are many and bite very painful.- Climbing shoes must be light, hug your feet to avoid foot pain.- Items to bring such as flashlights, knives, drinking water (1.5 liters/person) and light food.- Remember to preserve the landscape forests, limit littering. After checking in, you can order a lunch of steamed garlic chicken, or salted steamed chicken, made by the people you meet along the way when you check in. After eating and resting, around 1:30 pm you start to conquer the remaining road of Ma Thien Lanh peak. From here, the road will be more difficult to go. On the way up the mountain, you will be told by the guide fascinating stories, handed down from ancient times, about Pho Tinh Pagoda, Lo Thien Pagoda, Monk Uncle Uncle, mountain ascetics and Even the fairies descended,… Just climbed to the top of the mountain while listening to stories, the way was also closer. Conquering Ma Thien Lanh peak is an unforgettable experience for visitors when coming to Hon Son In order to facilitate farming, travel and live here, people make stairs convenient for going up the mountain. The scenery on both sides of the road is very poetic and wild, the atmosphere is clear and cool. A few notes when traveling independently is that if you get lost, follow the water line. This is a small trick, passed down by the people who often go to the mountain. Stop at Lo Thien Phat Pagoda, you have gone 1/3 of the way to the top of Ma Thien Lanh. The road from there to the top of the mountain is becoming more and more difficult and challenging when it is no longer a cement road, three steps, instead a small path. Not only that, on the way there are luxuriant trees, the sound of birds and gibbons howling, making your trip more mysterious, thrilling and interesting. The reward is often worth it when climbing to the top of the mountain Setting foot on the top of the mountain, your efforts are also rewarded, all fatigue, body aches seem to disappear. Take a deep breath and feel the wonderful atmosphere here. In front of you is the majestic natural scenery of mountains, immense sea and sky. Feel free to talk to the people living here. They are very sincere and open. Snorkeling to see corals, catching sea urchins Early the next day, have breakfast and sip coffee, receive a helmet and rented motorbike when going to the island, priced at 120,000 VND/day, you start to explore the route around the island. Coconuts are characteristic of this island. Here, coconuts grow from the beach up halfway up the hill. Every tree is so tall with very unique and strange poses. So for tourists, Hon Son is also known by another familiar name, “Coconut Island”. The road around the island For that reason, some local names of beaches are called other names such as leaning coconut trees, lying coconut trees or coconut rows, etc. To protect coconuts, people nail along the tree trunks so that tourists don’t sit up, avoid the tree uprooted and make a safe exit to serve guests taking pictures. There are also beautiful natural rock beaches around the island. Maybe because of many rocks, the island is called Hon Son. Hon Son Rai – the name may also come from the shape of this rock After visiting the island, you can rent a small boat to the sea, priced at 120,000 VND/person. You will be diving to see corals and fish. The beach here is full of urchins. After an hour of swimming and scuba diving, you can enjoy a lunch full of fresh seafood right on the fish raft, such as swimming crabs for only 400,000 VND/kg, special squid porridge with the sweetness of squid and the warmth of ginger. A very cute little shop selling snacks on the island The leaning coconut tree is nailed so that visitors do not sit, climb, or break the tree Visitors are extremely excited to see the sea and eat seafood in Hon Son A point you should not miss when coming to Hon Son is the rocky beach and the beach with the most beautiful beach on the island. The rock area has a very large rock, shaped like a snake. People here call it the snake head rock, but when you check-in online, it will appear “Hon Son Rai”. This rock is very big and quite flat, so in the afternoon, lying on it, watching the sunset, is very cool. In the evening, order a hot pot to eat right at the beach and then climb up to “Hon Son Rai” to lie down and enjoy the cool wind and cool breeze without disturbing mosquitoes, making you just want to sleep here until morning to conveniently watch the sunrise. How to go to Hon Son Currently, there are two trains every day to Hon Son island. You should call to book tickets before going to the port, to avoid the situation of running out of tickets. Train tickets can be booked online and paid by bank transfer, very convenient. Ticket price is 280,000 VND/round trip. Visitors should book a trip at 7:30 am and go to the pier early, about 1 hour before breakfast, then visit the toad market located across the street opposite the port to buy some fruit to bring, because there is almost no sale on the island. The fruits here are delicious and cheap. At 7:30, the ship left the pier. After about 15 minutes, the driver will open the door for guests to get on the deck to open up. Up here, you are free to take pictures of the ship turning waves to the sea. The scenery is very beautiful and windy, so it is very suitable for you who have motion sickness. There are two seasons here, the rainy season and the dry season. The best time to go is from November to March, at this time it does not rain and the sea is calm, convenient for climbing and scuba diving. The people here are very friendly and likable. You book any motel or hotel with a caller ready to pick you up at the port. On the island, there are many accommodation services for you to choose from, from homestays to affordable guesthouses, the average cost is from 170,000 to 800,000 VND/room.

The interesting thing is that you can share these slightly adventurous feelings of exploring the sea with friends or family on the bottom of the sea. An interesting experience for those who love to explore the ocean will be an unforgettable memory that will never be forgotten. In Nha Trang, there is another place where you can snorkel and see coral. That is Monkey Island, a small island located in Nha Phu Bay, right near the beautiful Ninh Van Bay, and only 15km north of Nha Trang city center. To visit Monkey Island, you have to go to the pier at Da Chong port. The island has an area of 25ha and also owns a lot of beautiful scenes with more than 1,200 monkeys including many different species such as red-faced monkeys or gray-haired monkeys. Monkeys here are raised naturally in the primeval forests, not kept in cages. So before diving, you can have fun with cute, funny monkeys everywhere on the island. Pristine beach, no human intervention, clear blue sea and many beautiful coral reefs. This is a hiding place for many strange and precious sea fish. Because of that, it attracts the curiosity of visitors when they want to explore the blue ocean. In addition to the diving journey to see the sea in Nha Trang, visitors will be immersed in the sun, wind, sea and sky, struggling in the clear blue water while diving. Go ashore to enjoy fresh seafood dishes. Famous delicacies in Nha Trang can mention small abalone, dried shrimp, grilled clams with garlic butter.

In recent years, mermaid diving has become increasingly standardized worldwide. “Mermaid” training schools have sprung up everywhere from Singapore, the US to China, according to CNN.

“Mermaid diving is developing very quickly in China,” said Mr. Yan Lou, president of PADI (Association of Professional Diving Instructors) in the country of billions of people. On April 28, more than 100 “mermaids” appeared at the Ambassador Lagoonkhu hotel aquarium at Atlantis Sanya resort (China). This activity aims to break the Guinness record for the largest mermaid diving show in the world, on the occasion of the resort’s 3rd anniversary. After this activity, PADI launched 4 mermaid diving courses from basic to advanced. These courses are all very popular in China. “After admiring the beautiful images of the mermaids, the audience seemed to immediately want to take the course. Within four months of its launch, mermaid courses accounted for 30% of local certifications in China,” said Lou. The mermaid diving performance at Atlantis Sanya set a Guinness record. Photo: CNN. Corinna Davids, the head of development for mermaid dive courses offered by SSI (Diving Society International), also confirms this trend. “There is a huge demand for mermaid diving lessons in China. The sport has grown exponentially since we started rolling out in 2017,” she said. SSI has offered independent mermaid diving courses at more than 3,000 locations worldwide. “We now have more than 1,000 mermaid trainers in China and the sport is growing rapidly. This sport is also a bridge to help scuba diving and freediving become more known in this country,” added Davids. Attraction from the ocean Similar to freediving, the “mermaids” do not use any oxygen or support equipment other than a fishtail. “Wearing a fishtail restricts leg movement, making diving more difficult. Divers must use their belly and waist to move. This requires a long time of practice to be able to move smoothly and gracefully like a real mermaid”, said Dada Li, one of the pioneers in mermaid diving and also the PADI representative at China, said. China is a very potential market for mermaid diving. Photo: Xinhua. In 2015, Li completed an international course in freediving instruction and became the first female freediving instructor in China. In the same year, she established a professional team of mermaid divers to perform at aquariums and underwater events in China. Thanks to their meticulousness and skillful technique, the mermaids make the audience admire. The spread on social networks also helps these professions begin to become more widely known. China is also home to some of the youngest divers in the world. In addition, women in this country make up the largest proportion of divers in the world (nearly 50%). The mermaid diving show is loved by many people because of its beauty. Photo: Werner Lau. “Mermaid diving is often seen as an activity for children or women. However, we can guarantee that this is the right sport for everyone. My husband loves it too,” Davids said. Compared to freediving or scuba diving courses, mermaid diving focuses on fun, safety and enjoyment of life. This subject is for those who are not afraid to go into the water and have a love for the ocean. “As a freedom-loving person, I feel like I’ve turned into a real mermaid when diving, able to go anywhere I want,” Li said.

‘Boss’ will become the first near-shore coastal patrol vessel capable of deep diving. Simply put, it is an inexpensive submarine for countries with modest military budgets.

Russia has developed a project to build a patrol boat capable of diving. Such a ship combines the main features and advantages of a submarine and a surface patrol vessel. The project is intended for export and is supposed to attract the interest of less affluent countries looking to upgrade their fleets. In mid-April 2021, Rubin Design Studio unveiled a new project. They provide background information about an unusual idea, upcoming implementation, and expected results. In addition, this design studio also shows a hologram of a patrol boat with submarine features. The new export-oriented project is named ‘Sentinel’ in Russian, with the English designation chosen as ‘Border and Offshore Submersible Sentry’ or ‘BOSS’ . Sentinel will most likely be marketed as ‘BOSS’ in the international market. The project developers note that modern patrol boats are relatively cheap – and due to their low cost, they attract the attention of poor countries. The main goal of such ships is to be able to prevent poaching and illegal fishing. “Project Sentinel proposes the construction of a ship capable of operating on water or under water. It is claimed that such a ship in a position on the water will be able to carry out official patrols, locate and arrest violators,” said Viktor Murahovsky, editor-in-chief of the magazine’ Homeland Arsenal’, said. “The underwater location is intended for covert surveillance of intruders, reconnaissance and even to avoid adverse weather conditions.” According to him, this is the first version of the diving patrol boat. In the future, the model can be modified to suit the wishes of foreign customers. The official image shows a ship that has the appearance of a submarine but has some uncharacteristic features of a submarine. The Sentinel had an elongated hull with a flat deck on which a limited-sized superstructure was placed. At the bow of the ship, the shield of the hydroacoustic complex antenna can be seen. On either side, forward of the superstructure control tower, there are extendable horizontal rudders. At the stern of the ship there is a compartment for storing motorboats that are brought on deck. As expected, the architecture and main dimensions of the ‘Sentinel’ are similar to the diesel-electric submarines designed under the old ‘Project 613’. This is a major project in the history of the Russian Navy and is very popular with foreign customers. Depending on configuration, ‘BOSS’ ships can be up to 60-70 meters in length and displace around 1,000 tons – approximately the size of an average 613 submarine. The full composition of the ship’s special systems and equipment is not specified. But this semi-submersible patrol boat is capable of carrying weapons of all kinds. It can be equipped with a small artillery complex, a missile system or torpedoes. For reconnaissance and inspection of other ships, the ship will be able to carry UAVs and motorboats. Sentinel can accommodate up to 42 people. This includes crew members, ship operators, and inspection teams responsible for dealing with violators. “The development of the Sentinel project is to meet the current requirements of the international market. Many countries are expressing interest in patrol boats. Thanks to the Sentinel project, Russian industry was able to gain a new position in the international market,” said expert Murahovsky.

Australian diver Rhiannan Iffland performed the world’s first stunt when she jumped from a moving hot air balloon into the Paterson River in New South Wales. Previously, Rhiannan Iffland impressed with acrobatics from a height of 120 meters in a salt mine last year. The female athlete continued to impress when conquering the new challenge of jumping into the water from a height of tens of meters, on a flying hot air balloon. Rhiannan Iffland said: “We just did a jump into the water from a flying hot air balloon. This is my first time diving again after falling out of a hot air balloon. It was a special feeling, all acting out too quickly”. Rhiannan Iffland jumped into the water from a height of about 18 meters in a hot air balloon Impressive feat Rhiannan Iffland performed nearly a year of training, after performing a jump from a hot air balloon into the water and diving unsuccessfully in November last year due to bad weather. Rhiannan Iffland, a cliff diving athlete revealed: “I love this sport. What attracts me the most is the fact that I have the opportunity to dive after jumping from different heights, exotic locations. , weird around the world. Diving after jumping out of a hot air balloon is at the top of my wish list for a long time. Last year, when it was not successful with this plan, Rhiannan Iffland was extremely disappointed. The girl did not participate in any events and did not feel motivated to do anything else. Rhiannan Iffland specifically focuses on the idea of diving after jumping out of a hot air balloon. “Today, when we climbed very high, I was a little hesitant, worried, unsure about whether to continue or not. I reassured myself that okay we will fly straight over the target area. I jumped down. Yes, I finally jumped down super fast, “said Rhiannan Iffland. This woman jumped into the water from a height of about 18 meters. Rhiannan Iffland has dived in different waters many times, but this is the first time she has resumed diving after jumping from a hot air balloon. She always feels lucky to work with pilots who know exactly what they need to do, who are also focused on the job. As a cliff diving athlete, Rhiannan Iffland has traveled the world to satisfy his passion, performing dances in places such as the Philippines, Spain, Portugal and Italy. She once jumped off cliffs up to 27 meters high, reaching speeds of more than 85km/h.

It is a clear blue lake located on the beautiful coast that people often call Magpupungko tidal lake. This place is like a precious and unique gem not only of Siargao but also of the whole world, where you can swim comfortably even at high tide.

Magpupungko is a white sand beach located at Barangay Consolacion at Pilar, Surigao del Norte. Similar to Barangay Catangnan’s Cloud 9 resort, Magpupungko beach faces east and towards the edge of the Pacific Ocean. But unlike Barangay Catangnan, Magpupungko has a natural swimming pool stretching hundreds of meters with rocky cliffs and numerous small niches, like a large turquoise jacuzzi in the middle of the ocean. During high tide, the surrounding natural rock formations keep the lake’s surface calm and safe. You can freely swim or snorkel to see the beautiful aquatic world. There is absolutely not a single piece of trash, but instead there are rows of seaweed like a velvety layer that lifts your heels. Visitors can also walk almost around the lake in the midst of immense waves. The limestone mountain part is where you can jump down or relax and enjoy the view. Magpupungko is not too crowded because it has not been affected by many tourist activities. You are not allowed to bring food, plastic bottles into the lake or smoke throughout the island in general as well as in Magpupungko in particular. Green coconut groves, bring freshly picked coconuts when you ask, with straws entirely made from coconut leaves or bamboo pipes. On the island, there are many homestays as well as hotels for you to stay; Local dishes are made with the warm hospitality of the local people for you to enjoy. Come to Siargao, visit Magpupungko to be forever impressed by an authentic infinity pool in the sun-drenched ocean of this warm tropical country.

Modern boats take tourists about 7km from the mainland in the Aliwal Shoal (PV Dinh Luong at the far right). South Africa in particular and Africa in general attracts tourists with its pristine beauty, mystical indigenous culture and with 5 large species of “Big Five” including African elephants, Cape buffalo, leopard, lion and Rhino. But there is a different South Africa from the trips adventure travel Swim with sharks at Aliwal Shoal Marine Life Reserve, Umkomaas Town, KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, about 50km south of the provincial capital Durban. Here’s your chance to meet these amazing creatures face-to-face throughout your life, a new adventure experience that challenges logical thinking and does what you never thought you’d ever do – in the water surrounded by sharks. Wondering if you can’t swim, can’t swim well, or are afraid of risking your life? All you need is an adventurous, adventurous and challenging spirit as the tour organizers will offer you a variety of options – from near absolute safety to the ultimate test of willpower. . You can simply drop yourself inside a stainless steel cage approved by the Maritime Safety Authority of South Africa (SamA) with a safety mask, choosing from different degrees of shallow depth when standing in the cage according to your preference. . But prepare for adrenaline rush with a more adventurous and memorable option. Many different options when diving with sharks. (Photo: Dinh Luong / Vietnam +) We came to Aliwal Dive Center because it is a diving center with sharks with more than 28 years of experience. Answering my concerns and worries when considering bringing both my wife and two children to the shark experience diving tour – guide and diving expert with the shark Danie Bester said he has more than 4 years in job and no mistakes have occurred. Aliwal Dive Center is part of an effort to conserve marine life, including sharks in the Indian Ocean, around the coastal city of Durban. Leaving previous jobs in Pretoria and Johannesburg, Danie chose to guide diving with sharks, because he could do what he loved and wanted to contribute to changing the animal’s perception. After helping with the selection of swimsuits, propellers and waterproof masks, Danie carefully told us to keep our arms closed under our armpits, use the propeller to swim softly, avoiding the shark’s mistaken hands other small fish species for food and attack. Strictly complying with the requirements for medical reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic season, my family of 4 and my friend Lina, 17, a South African citizen of Indian origin join a shark diving tour. . Lina’s parents pleased their daughter but still worriedly sent off to the beach and waited. Surf safely on custom 8m Superduck Semi Rigid boats equipped with a Yamaha Four Stroke 2×100 HP engine, to the area south of Aliwal Shoal, where skilled guides say there’s plenty of fish fat. The modern motor boat takes the group about 7km from the shore, the water depth is 20-30m. Sharks head to the ocean from many directions. (Photo: Dinh Luong / Vietnam +) We are fortunate to have a beautiful International Labor Day, the sea is relatively calm, the water is clear, the sunlight helps the view to the sea floor. In the breeding season from July to November each year, sharks often gather in high density in this sea. Captain Keith Rousouw with 25 years of experience instructing diving with sharks directly steered the boat. He said a support group of four divers on another boat helped us attract sharks, using food from small marine fish that was prepared and strictly followed the Ministry of Environment’s Shark Diving license. South Africa. The stainless steel cage floats on the water thanks to two buoys. The cage designed and perfected by an engineer can accommodate 8 people at a time, providing a relatively comfortable space for 4 visitors on this discovery tour. You might be wondering with the number 4? I chose to swim with Danie right from the beginning after consulting with these two skilled experts. Danie let me hang on a floating wooden stake thanks to two large floats, attached to the iron cage, for a wider view and better experience. You can feel my worries more clearly when you have seen the shark videos. The Oceanic Blacktip is 1.5-2m long, stout body with pointed snout, long gill slits and no burrs between dorsal fins. This species reached a maximum known length of 2.8m and a maximum weight of 123kg. Most individuals have a black head or edge on pectoral, dorsal, ventral, and caudal fins. Danie was in the water directly with us and Keith watched carefully from the boat. Expert Danie in turn helps team members cling to the wooden stake and swim with each person closer to the sharks. The experience of diving and being up close with the sharks affirms Danie’s love and understanding for this fish – calm and flexible. Between the time diving and underwater observations, I rose to the surface to breathe but many times saw the tall and crescent-shaped front dorsal fins of the ocean blackhead sharks moving around in the afternoon. It is about 1.5m long and weighs about 50-70kg, according to Danie. The blackhead shark is an agile and energetic carnivore. Oceanic Blacktip can jump out of the water while attacking small schools of fish. Their demeanor has been described as “timid” compared to other great globular sharks (family Carcharhinus), which are common in coastal tropical and subtropical seas around the world, including lips. brackish water habitat. We assessed that we had met about 25-30 marine blackhead sharks during the trip, but Danie said there were about 17 (perhaps due to anxiety, so amateurs “look nationalized chickens”). Many times while swimming next to Danie gets closer to the sharks, it feels as if they are rushing towards you, but with a graceful turn. Although I have had very close experiences with these ferocious animals, to a certain extent, I have to admit that they seem to be very friendly. And to be very restrained, we do not reach out to touch the flexible swim bodies very close – which expert Danie always warns to absolutely comply. Not only having a diving experience with sharks, the trip brings an understanding of other creatures living in shallow waters below 40m and small, symbiotic fish always “side by side” with the sharks. Another plus point is that you will experience surfing on a modern boat controlled by skilled captains. Goodbye, Ms. Basie Aukermann, Director of Aliwal Dive Center, said that the Center has actively and silently contributed to the conservation of marine life at Aliwal Shoal Protected Area and is delighted to have tourists from Vietnam. The distant south has come and experienced. Nature has its own ways of functioning, and South Africa is not just famous for the Big Five on land. The land of great experiences to challenge the will and adventure, to explore. Expert Danie Bester (left) supports journalist Dinh Luong on adventure travel.
The design of a patrol boat capable of diving under water in the Sentinel project. Photo: TASS This is an affordable submarine for countries with a modest defense budget. The new ship combines the features and advantages of submarines with surface patrol boats. This export-specific project, is expected to attract the attention of smaller countries looking to upgrade their fleets. The purpose of the project “BOSS” In mid-April 2021, the Rubin Central Marine Technical Design Bureau unveiled a new project. The agency provided background information on the project to build a special patrol boat, its progress and expected results. Along with that, is a three-dimensional image of a patrol ship with submarine features. The project dedicated to export is called “Sentinel” in Russian, and the English name is “BOSS (short for Border and Offshore Submersible Sentry). The Sentinel will most likely be marketed on the national market as “BOSS”. The cost of modern patrol boats is relatively low, making them suitable for countries with small budgets, project developers note. The aim of these ships is to prevent poaching and illegal fishing. In addition, they can also be used as security ships, lifeboats or for research purposes. Viktor Murahovsk – editor-in-chief of Homeland Arsenal magazine said: “The Sentinel project proposes building a ship capable of operating both above and below the water. When operating on water, it can patrol, identify and arrest offenders. When operating under water, it will secretly spy on intruders, scout and avoid bad weather while on mission. According to Viktor Murahovsky, the first version of the patrol diving boat will have the above characteristics, in the future they will be modified to meet the needs of foreign customers. Technical characteristics Officially released photos show that this ship takes the form of a submarine but has some properties that are not typical of those operating under water. The Sentinel has a rather long hull with a flat deck, on deck there is a cockpit with a limited size. In the bow is equipped with hydrophonic complex antenna. The ship has a conical control tower with horizontal rudders. At the stern, there was a compartment for the motorboats of the patrol teams. According to published information, in terms of architecture and size, the ship resembles the project 613 diesel-electric submarines built in the 1950s. It is the largest project in the history of the Russian Navy and is foreign customers are very popular. Depending on configuration, the Sentinel patrol boat will be 60 to 70 meters in length, displacing about 1,000 tons. The full details of the ship’s special systems and equipment are not yet clear. However, this patrol ship is believed to be able to carry weapons such as torpedoes, missile systems, and small caliber artillery platforms. To perform patrol and surveillance tasks, the ship will be equipped with unmanned aircraft (UAV) capable of flying for many hours continuously and canoe. A crew of 42 people, including a patrol team, is responsible for handling violators. Advantage over foreign competitors Expert Viktor Murahovsk said: “The development of the Sentinel project is aimed at meeting the current needs of the international market. Many countries are paying special attention to patrol boats. Thanks to this project, the Russian defense industry can gain a new position in the international market ”. To win against foreign competitors, the new patrol ship must have certain advantages, outperforming its competitors. One of the Sentinel’s advantages is to abandon the traditional form of a surface ship to a combination of a patrol boat and a submarine. “With the basic functionality of surface ships, the Sentinel can patrol and arrest violators just like other patrol boats. In addition, due to its built-in weaponry, it can provide the necessary combat capabilities, meeting the requirements for surface ships. On the other hand, diving will help the ship be stealthy and perform missions below the water, as well as provide other advantages, ”concluded Viktor Murahovsk. Most importantly, the Sentinel is not a specialized train, but a multi-purpose ship. Its equipment and weapons will be determined by the customer, depending on their needs. In the Sentinel project there are both simply minimally equipped patrol boats and state-of-the-art “powerful hunters” capable of destroying underwater and surface targets. Flexibility in using this vessel type can be an important competitive advantage.

Polluted environment, cosmetic habits, hormonal changes in the body make skin prone to acne and need proper skin care for acne to disappear …
For effective skin care, first of all, it is necessary to distinguish between endocrine acne or cosmetics.

Endocrine acne The main cause of acne is due to hormonal changes, or the imbalance of androgens (for women) and estrogen (for men) too disruptive. Then the skin will produce more oil and sebum, combined with dirt, dead cells … causing blocked pores, causing acne, swelling, inflammation … How to identify hormonal acne: Usually acne will appear in the days leading up to or during the “red light” period of women. Endocrine acne usually grows in the area around the mouth, jaw bones, cheekbones. Acne is spherical, round, deep inside the pimple and easy to form pimples, inflammatory pimples, pimples. These types of acne when they grow will become inflamed and inflamed, causing burning pain to the touch. Need to distinguish the cause of acne to take care of the skin effectively. Acne caused by cosmetics The cause of acne is due to local allergies to some ingredients in cosmetics, especially cosmetics containing corticosteroids, or because skin is allergic to cosmetics, even some cases are allergic to the face. skin mask, should pimples. Cosmetic acne usually appears immediately after using cosmetics or after a few days, with signs of itching, redness, tiny blisters but no acne. Depending on the condition, the location, the level of chemicals in cosmetics, the location of the pimple will be different. In mild cases, the pimples will appear at first as small, red, red papules around the forehead, then spread to the cheeks and surrounding areas. In severe cases, acne thickens all over the face, causing the face to be swollen, red, itchy, and burning. Coping with acne When you have acne, you need to see a dermatologist for advice on management. If necessary, the doctor will give medication. At the same time, to improve acne, please refer to the following skin care steps. Make-up removal clean: You can use makeup remover water or oil depending on your skin type. Pour water / makeup remover oil on the cotton and proceed to clean all the parts of the face. Note that the cotton pad should be kept clean as bacteria can enter. Wipe gently from top to bottom, inside out. This step helps to remove dirt from the face effectively. Exfoliate with a product that’s gentle on acne skin: Skin regenerates every day, so it releases old and excess cuticles. These cells need to be cleaned so that the skin is not dull, smoother and more shiny. For acne skin, use a natural exfoliating cream, containing less seeds. Too much bleach can damage the skin worse. Wash your face thoroughly and use toner to balance skin: This is an important step that is indispensable in the skin care process for acne. Use mild, non-alcoholic and low-foam cleansers. It is recommended to wash all of the face and the lower part of the chin to minimize acne breakouts. After cleansing, use toner to balance skin’s pH. You can make your own rose water at home instead. Facial mask: The mask will supply water and nutrients to the skin, helping to speed up the regeneration and recovery process. Masks should be natural extracts such as honey, green tea, tea tree tea, aloe vera, tomatoes, … and contain no alcohol. Mask should be at least 2 times / week. Moisturizing acne skin: Acne skin needs water. That is why it is important to moisturize the skin. It can be supplied with moisturizer or mineral spray. For acne skin, mineral sprays are more beneficial than using liquid creams. Apply sunscreen when outdoors: Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect and improve your acne-prone skin. If you stay in the sun continuously, apply the cream every 2 hours.

Becoming a surfer, I saw oceans on other horizons.
The sea is as narrow as a bait plate

Whenever I open the social network, I often define the sea as a place where beauties are in bikini, families gather at tables full of seafood. Big crabs with round red eyes. The grilled cow skin fish with its whole skin still smiled. Aromatic ocean in a plate of snails sautéed with garlic or a blister of white squid grilled on red charcoal. The endless sea means wealth that people can roll their hands down and turn into valuable bills and houses a few floors after a few years you return. In South America, the central coast of Chile is chilly the morning the fish come. The boats stopped in the midst of a giant wave of waves, waiting for the crane to lift off the broken wavehead (sometimes the waves could flip the boat when suddenly turned violently). On the wharf, a shark corpse is about the size of an adult calf or the size of a crippled child. Body is cut in half. Half scattered. Gray and white flesh in cold weather. Swarms of seagulls and pelicans swooped down, waved the area a few waves of fish to dissolve into sponge. The people of Central Chile see little or no benefit from shark meat. They were caught in the net during the late night fishing trip. Move. Torn. Broken double. The fish net lurked out of the water when the electric pulley started running. Tons of fish were moved into containers, needles, cars, trucks … A few dozen shark corpses were gradually thrown into the water, wiped away. Senseless. No one cares. Mexico and the Gulf Coast are on one of the most beautiful coasts towards the Pacific Ocean – a winter refuge for North Americans. In the midst of the graveyard of meaningless wastefulness, the existence of a small ocean. It is no longer a few-storey houses, your trip is well-off in the monsoon season, no longer is a ton of sparkling white seafood swimming amidst the cold rock flowing into the trunk of the car to the restaurant in the city. The ocean is just a few broken heartbeats because the sharp fish nets cut innocent beings in half (and have no meaning after that slaughter). That day, as I swam on the board out of the wave’s nose, the small shimmering fish, half gray, half blue, circled around me like a breath of color. I felt my hands feel cold – stained with the bloody blood and deadly body of the shark. I caught a dumbfounded look. I gradually convinced myself that the ocean containing the other dimensions of space was obscured by the world. I’m frivolous and ignorant. But not so that the sea is reduced to a shark making porridge and wealth counted by digital photo paper. In West Java, summer waves are as beautiful as the muscular muscle of a fisherman who stays in the sun during his youth. I dived into a small rock that protruded off the island, letting my mind wander by a passing silver-bodied fish. He used his beak to rustle the green sea grass anchors that latched onto the rock. The cycle of proliferation went on in the instant I could see. When I used my best to catch a wave, stood up from the board, I was shocked to realize that the tiny fish swimming with the snapper earlier waved to cling to the wave, accompanying the board in the euphoria of the wave. wave. Indonesians have a sea on the porch. The night the fish came back, the whole village came to welcome. The boats revolve up to the sand. On the boat, the fish net was heavy. The same tons of fish are loaded with frozen trucks, the needles are full of licking their mouths and transported to the morning market. But right on the beach, the fish do not sell or eat, the fisherman drops it on the sand. The children picked up each fish and threw them to the sea. The tail waved the swimming area quickly following the approaching waves. There are still unhappy zombies stuck on the beach. Follow the waves gradually lost. Just a few hours later, the beach was quiet as if there had never been a dissection to multiply the wealth for the islanders of thousands of generations. The Indo-people are the world’s leading fish dependent population. Most of the food, nutrition, and life they get comes from marine fish. This giant island country of more than 17,000 islands is also home to the richest and most diverse marine ecosystem in the world. Each fish that the children release to the edge of the water will become a large flock of fish for the night market. On the big islands, when a huge bunch of plastic rubbish washed up the coast, the Indonesians I met often said: they fear fish will be stuck, will die, will suffocate the wrong piece of plastic. Fear of fish is gone. Fear of hungry meals like water. The position of the people in the sea is tied to the current that gives birth to them. The sea antagonizes like a monster that sleeps in the wavy Punta de Lobos bay. Quiet like the edge of the blue Panama City inside the brackish muddy beach exposed between the two sides of the sea. Sky-blue and generous as the Indonesian ocean. But then, on long trips, I met a Mexican sea. From California (USA), going straight south to the headland of Baja California (Mexico), giant blocks of land block in front of the sea like a strong array of colors of a bold and generous creator. Sea in departure From Punta de Mita, in the afternoons on the waves, I met a green turtle with yellowish brown cavities. He walked slowly through each layer of water, nibbling on sea grass, moss, and up and down slowly catching the sun’s breath through the water. A few days later, beside him was another friend, a dark brown-shell turtle friend as thick as a submarine patrol the bay. One day when he fell from the wave, he swam right next to him, almost able to touch. Then when the water changed, the large fish bravely approached the shore. The villagers in the village spread fish nets all over the surface of the water. One time I dropped my diving board deep, the fish net was stuck like a maze, sharp and threatening, and wrapped tangerines into layers as far as people could not swim to. “Does the turtle know how to slip through the net?” Fishing in Indonesia. The answer came in that anxious afternoon. I was swimming near the reef and the end of the fish net. Suddenly, at that moment a local boy jumped off the board, dived in the net many times, as if struggling with something full of resistance below. He got up and took a gulp of water, then went down, then up, a few times like that. When we thought he was drowning in need of help, many people swam over. At that moment, he grabbed a piece of net and popped it up. “Turtle”, “Turtle”, he stroked his face full of water. Turns out, the turtle stuck one leg in the net, thrashed. Having to remove the net but cannot tear (the net is the property of the villager), he dives down, looks at the mesh wrapped around the turtle’s leg, then swims a few rounds, struggles with the panicked turtle, finds all the way. gradually loosen the nets that cling to the legs, until the turtle can escape swimming. The accident was over, I saw the shadow of the turtle sweeping the bottom of the water, then dissolving into the color of the light. Disappear. Then the sea also turned, the fish was no longer close to shore. The nets were removed, giving freedom to the sea. Occasionally summer noon floating in the water, I try to remember two shells like a drifting boat sweeping through every stone, corner of the moss. The turtle did not return to the beach. The sea of Punta de Mita is as magical as in a magical story that makes people walk in the street and remember the beautiful day that you have not seen until it turns into a smiling skull at the festival of people. joyful death. I swim through the sparkling seasons, happily playing next to a thousand waves, but can’t shake off my deep nostalgia for the strange creature that used to hang around with me for months and days, now disappearing after one encounter. Fish nets, with extreme panic in exile across the high seas. One time, in my dream, I saw the sea leaving people – not the infinite body of water – but the inhabitants who form the spirit of the sea, refusing to live by the side to face an unforgiving scheme. of the human race. The hunger was real – a crab with its eyes open in a passionate steamer, a tortoise’s meat on the banquet table, a Japanese television proverb praising the whale-killing profession. Prosperity filled the citadel with the smell of the sea in the smell of necrosis. Suddenly I saw the sea devour me – in the loneliness of the plague-like spread. The ARA San Juan is also a Class 209 submarine. ARA San Juan submarine of Argentina. Source: Sina. It is known that on November 15, 2017, while returning to the base in the coastal city of Mar del Plata, the ARA San Juan submarine suddenly lost contact with the mainland. The Argentine Navy said earlier that the captain of the ARA San Juan had reported water spilling into the ventilation pipe, causing one of the ship’s batteries to short circuit. Hours later, “an explosion” is believed to have occurred near the ARA San Juan submarine site that was last identified. The Argentine Navy suspected that the cause of the explosion could be the “condensed hydrogen phenomenon”. The ARA San Juan is a German diesel-powered class 209 submarine that entered service in the mid-80s of the last century and is most recently refurbished in 2008-2014. With a refurbishment cost of up to 12 million USD, the ship can replace the engine and the energy generation system. During the repair process, experts warn of difficulties because innovation involves integrating systems produced by different manufacturers, even the slightest mistake in the repair phase. could put the safety of the ship and the life of the sailor in danger. After the incident, it was not until a year later that Argentina found the wreck of this ship with its crew. On November 17, 2018, the Ministry of Defense and the Argentine Navy announced that the US Ocean Infinity Company had discovered an object about 600 meters long on the ocean floor, confirming that this was the missing ARA San Juan submarine. The ARA San Juan submarine was found at a depth of more than 900 meters off the Valdes peninsula in the Patagonia region of the Atlantic Ocean, about 600 kilometers from the Argentine port city of Comodoro Rivadavia, the Argentine navy said. Since the ARA San Juan submarine went missing, Argentina has relied on 14 countries such as Russia, the US, the UK, Norway … to participate in the search campaign, in which Russia and the US are the two most experienced countries. in the search and rescue field. Russia has sent ocean research ships and transport aircraft Antonov carrying a searchable robot at a depth of 1,000 meters under the ocean to search. Meanwhile, the US also deployed P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft, mini submarines, and released buoys attached to sensors for detection.

P-8 Poseidon hunting plane. Meanwhile, deep-sea lifeboats are en route to Indonesia from India and Singapore. Indonesian officials said on Friday that if the submarine was intact and working properly, the sailors would only have enough oxygen to survive until dawn Saturday. “So far, we haven’t found it yet. But with existing equipment, we may be able to locate the submarine, ”Achmad Riad, a spokesman for the Indonesian military, said at a press conference. Submarine KRI Nanggala-402. Experts like Koh said Indonesia will have to expand the search area again if the highly magnetic object proves not to be a ship. Koh also warned that if the submarine falls to “extreme depth”, it will be almost impossible to find. The Bali Sea can reach a depth of more than 1,500 meters. At the time of his disappearance, there were 53 people on board. Including commander of Indonesian submarine fleet – Mr. Harry Setiawan. KRI Nanggala-402 submarine went missing on the morning of April 21 while participating in a torpedo drill near Bali island. On the morning of April 22, oil spills were discovered at the submarine’s diving location. On the morning of April 23, a metal object with a high magnetism was found. But since then, there have been no more clues. On the morning of April 24, the reserved oxygen on the ship was exhausted.

Indonesian submarine KRI Alugoro searched for the KRI Nanggala submarine that was missing while participating in a drill off the coast of Bali on April 21. Photo: AP Indonesian submarine KRI Nanggala 402 lost contact after diving on April 21 off the coast of Bali, and concerns are growing that the submarine may have sunk too deep, difficult to reach and recover. President Joko Widodo has called on all Indonesians to pray for the return of the crew, and ordered every effort to be made to locate the ship in distress. Two ships left a port in a nearby area on the morning of April 23 to engage in search activity. More than 20 naval ships, 2 submarines and 5 aircraft were mobilized for search on April 22, and more large-scale search operations are expected on April 23. Lifeboats from Singapore and Malaysia are expected to be in the area from Saturday to Monday next week, and other countries have also requested assistance. In his televised speech on April 22, Mr. Widodo said: “Our main priority is the safety of the 53 crew members. To the families of the crew members, I can understand their feelings at the moment and we are doing our best to save the lives of all crew members on board. The country’s Navy Admiral Yudo Margono said the missing submarine is expected to run out of oxygen at about 3 a.m. on April 24. The search has been centered around the oil slick discovered near the submarine’s last dive site. But there is no convincing evidence that this oil streak belonged to the missing submarine. Admiral Margono said that the oil could be spilled from a crack in the submarine’s fuel tank or it could also be that the crew drained the oil and the fluids to reduce weight, allowing the ship to float. There was an unidentified object with high magnetism at a depth of 50 to 100 meters, and officials hope it was the submarine they were looking for, Margono said. The Indonesian Navy also believes that the submarine has sunk to a depth of 600-700 meters, much deeper than the landmark where the hull can withstand water pressure. According to estimates by a Korean company that repaired this submarine in the period 2009-2012, the ship could explode when it sank to a depth of 200 meters. Currently, people are still not sure about the reason why the submarine suddenly disappeared. The Indonesian navy said it was possible that an electrical incident could have prevented the submarine from performing emergency procedures to emerge. In addition to the lifeboats sent by Singapore and Malaysia, other offers of assistance have also come from Australia, the US, Germany, France, Russia, India, Turkey and South Korea. The hospital ship KRI Dr. Soeharso of the Indonesian Navy participates in the search for the missing submarine. Photo: AP Historically, submarine accidents have often had serious consequences. In 2000, the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk exploded from the inside and sank during exercises in the Barents Sea. Most of the 118 crew members died immediately, while 23, although they managed to reach the rear compartment, were suffocated. In November 2017, an Argentine submarine went missing and 44 waterways in the South Atlantic, until nearly a year later, it was discovered that the wreck was 800 meters deep. But in 2005, seven members on a Russian mini submarine were rescued three days after their ship was caught in fishing nets and cables in the Pacific, at a time when the ship had only enough oxygen for six hours. if the lake cannot float to the surface of the water. It is known that the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine is currently missing, produced by Germany, has been used by Indonesia since 1981 and at the time of the accident carrying 49 sailors and 3 gunners and commanders. Hoang Bach According to AP

KRI Nanggala 402 carried 53 people who lost contact at dawn on April 21 in the waters north of Bali while participating in torpedo drills.

Indonesian officials fear the ship may sink deeply, making it difficult to access rescue equipment. In a statement released on April 22, President Joko Widodo called on the people of Indonesia to pray that the crew can return safely. He also ordered all-out use to locate the submarine in distress. More than 20 naval ships, two submarines, five aircraft were mobilized to participate in the search campaign. Lifeboats from Singapore and Malaysia have also arrived on the scene to provide assistance. “Our main priority is the safety of the 53 crew members” Mr. Widodo stressed. Indonesia races against time to rescue the KRI Nanggala-402 submarine. (Photo: Anadolu) Naval Chief of Staff Adm Yudo Margono said, KRI Nanggala 402 is expected to run out of oxygen at 3 am on April 24. Searches are currently concentrated around the oil slick found next to the last dive site of KRI Nanggala 402. But there is currently no evidence that the oil stain was left by a submarine. Margono said the oil could spill from a crack in the fuel tank or the crew could discharge fuel to reduce the weight to help the vessel float. The Indonesian rescue team also found an unidentified highly magnetic object located at a depth of 50-100 m. Officials of this country hope it is the lost ship. However, the Indonesian navy did not rule out the possibility that KRI Nanggala 402 had sunk at a depth of 600-700 m. This depth could crush the ship due to the water pressure. The cause of the disappearance is still unknown. Indonesian officials said the power outage may have prevented the submarine from going through the emergency procedures to float again. In addition to the lifeboats sent to Singapore and Malaysia, Australia, the US, Germany, France, Russia, India, Turkey and South Korea are offering to help Indonesia. Submarine accidents are often catastrophic. In 2000, the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk exploded and sank during a maneuver in the Barents Sea. Most of the 118 crewmembers died immediately, but 23 escaped into the rear compartment before dying because the Russian navy could not find them in time. In November 2017, an Argentine submarine carrying 44 crew members went missing in the South Atlantic. Nearly a year later, the ship’s wreck was found at a depth of 800 meters. But in 2005, a group of seven sailors aboard a small Russian submarine were rescued almost three days after their ship was hooked to a cable at a depth of 190 meters. By the time the cable was cut and surfaced, the amount of oxygen on board was only about six hours. The Indonesian Ministry of Defense said that the German-made diesel-powered KRI Nanggala 402 entered naval service in 1981. The ship carried 49 sailors, one commander and three gunners when it went missing.

In a small boat across the frozen waters of the Grebbestad Islands, Sweden’s west coast, Lotta Klemming walks past mist-covered rocks in search of the perfect spot to hunt for ‘local delicacies’ .

The Swedish Archipelago is home to the wild Ostrea edulis, an oyster whose size and taste is different from other farmed species. Since the 17th century, connoisseurs in Sweden have preferred, hunting oysters in this cold area to serve on the king’s banquet tables. Divers hunt for rare oysters in the Swedish icy region Klemming, 31, is one of the few divers in Sweden working in the icy waters, preparing enough diving gear to collect these 11cm-sized oysters. Sitting in the boat, to cope with the cold Swedish weather, the diver fitted a heavy fur cap down over his long hair, wearing thick wool gloves outside. Klemming and her father, also a diver, Peter, anchored the small boat in the shallow water next to a cliff, checking the air tank before jumping into the water. “Oysters Ostrea edulis has a very strong flavor, unlike other oysters. The unique flavor of the oyster can be best paired with ale or a stout,” Lotta Klemming said. After filling a few baskets, the couple boarded a boat, speeding back to the diving house in the village of Grebbestad. Klemming unloaded the oysters and took them on board to a nearby beach to clean and pack them carefully before selling them to restaurants in Stockholm, Gothenburg. Each oyster usually costs about 7 Euro equivalent to more than 190,000 VND. The woman grew up in a village on the coast near the Norwegian border, where her father and uncle worked as a diver. Before that, she had never intended to join the family business. After going to the city, to pursue a fashion career in Gothenburg, she missed this archipelago so much that she decided to return and try diving 6 years ago. “As a young woman today, you grew up in a world full of judgment and you constantly feel, for myself at least, I feel constantly judged,” Lotta Klemming said. But this is really the opposite here, no one will judge me for such looks. ” Klemming revealed she is currently the only woman to dive for oysters in Sweden. Although the epidemic had a huge impact on the business, as oyster restaurants ordered few orders, she had no plans to leave. Standing on Grebbestad’s foggy dock, Klemming says, “What I always wanted to do every week is dive. You can compare this routine to yoga or meditators.”

Sharks are pictures that haunt the minds of many people swimming or rowing in the ocean. Sharks are often portrayed in movies as merciless blood hunters, but in fact it is also a very intelligent and curious creature. Taylor Cunningham, a marine biologist and shark conservationist, and a shark safety instructor, shares skills in dealing with the fear known as the shark. Study local sharks During certain times of the year, some sharks get closer to shore in the warm coastal waters. In Hawaii, for example, tiger sharks swim near shore in late summer and early fall to give birth. Therefore, it is very helpful to learn about local sharks in order to choose water activities wisely. Wear a mask and fins when swimming For professional swimmers, there is no need to wear a mask and fins every time you step into the sea. But if you swim long distances and are worried that you might encounter sharks, you should use this device. Cunningham said both of these devices help swimmers become more aware of their surroundings, the key to being safe in the ocean. Humans and sharks can still live peacefully. Leave the white and yellow bikinis at home It may be hard to believe, but the color of your clothes and equipment is important to sharks. “Sharks have monochrome vision, so colors like white, yellow or neon should be avoided when swimming or diving because these colors stand out in the blue ocean. Instead, choose darker colors, like black and blue. bar to minimize unwanted attention from the shark ” Cunningham explained. Don’t worry if you get cut or scratched – sharks don’t respond to human blood There is a long-held belief that sharks are a species with an excellent sense of smell that is sensitive to human blood. Cunningham said: “Sharks do not react to human blood or scents. Scientists have done studies in which they found that sharks have minimal or no response in the brain to humans. “ Act like a predator, constantly checking your surroundings By constantly spinning and looking around while underwater, you are communicating that you are a predator, not a prey. Being like a predator makes you less likely to get approached by a shark. Make eye contact if you see a shark When seeing a shark, many people’s instincts are to swim as fast as they can in the other direction, but this may be announcing that you are prey and should be chased. With the confidence of making eye contact with a shark, you are asserting yourself as a predator. However, it is necessary to have flexibility because there can be many sharks at the same time. So, after your initial eye contact, look for the other sharks around. Create the necessary distance from the shark If a shark is approaching, use your fins, GoPro or any solid object you have on you to create some distance between you and the animal. Then you are sending a quantity of water and some things towards them. They will probably pick up, collide and turn away … Slowly step back after making eye contact, but avoid splashing and making noise. The reason you prove yourself as an underwater predator is to tell the shark that you are not on their menu. Splashing, yelling, and rioting on the surface can make them think you are a sick or injured bird or fish – which are on a shark’s favorite menu. Understanding the shark will be less afraid when it comes to “collision” with the shark. Note the shark’s body language Sharks are not inherently aggressive, but they can win territory or compete, Cunningham explained. Sharks will use their body language before confrontation. If you notice a shark releasing pectoral fins (like when a cat arches its back) or opening its mouth (like when a dog growls) slowly step back, give it space, and get out of the water. Remember sharks swim and ignore humans Most people assume that if there are sharks in the water, they will feel them, but in fact, Cunningham says sharks swim and ignore everyone, just like any other fish. Over the years, drone footage has shown sharks within the reach of swimmers without their knowledge. Above all, don’t panic! The key to overcoming any encounter with a shark is acting like a predator. Sharks do not consider humans as prey. Usually, sharks completely ignore humans in the ocean. While it may seem impossible to stay calm when dealing with sharks, it is not. You just need to know a little bit about shark behavior and learn to react appropriately if you encounter it while swimming. “Falled coconuts kill more people than sharks, but in fact, no one is afraid of falling coconuts” – Cunningham’s hand analyzed. The ocean is the home of marine life, including sharks. Respect for the ocean, the common home of sharks and marine life “We need to understand that the ocean is home to a lot of wildlife, not just sharks. Ocean infiltration is human invading the house of marine species. Therefore, it is the responsibility of man to be aware of his or her impacts on the oceans and wildlife or the conditions that may affect them ”- shark conservationist Taylor Cunningham emphasized.
