Looks nothing special, but the branches full of green leaves are still bought by Ha Thanh sisters, even though they cost millions.
Just received a heather branch after a week of ordering, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Ha from Tay Son (Dong Da, Hanoi) said: “This is a heather branch imported from Japan. I had to spend 700,000 VND/branch to buy it. But when this branch is plugged into the water, it can play for a whole month, more durable than many common flowers.

Previously, when referring to shrubs such as heather, rhododendron, blueberry, etc., Ha would think of a remote temperate land with vast green hills that only appeared on television. However, recently, in the market, there has been a sudden trend of playing imported heather branches, she is also curious to buy and play. According to Ms. Ha, a heather is a dozen times more expensive than playing with domestic flowers such as lotus, lily, pink, chrysanthemum, … In return, they are quite new ornamental plants, kept indoors. look always fresh green and cool, suitable for these hot summer days. The green heather branches are causing a fever in the market this summer (photo: Tran Ly) Selling heather branches for two years now, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van – a flower dealer in Au Co (Tay Ho, Hanoi) – said that this type of decorative foliage has appeared on the market since last year. However, up to this point, they have become popular and are sought after by many people. Heather branches are imported from Japan, belonging to the shrub family. This is one of the most popular indoor plants, especially since they have no scent so anyone can play. Around August is the time when heather flowers in dense clusters of pink, red, and purple colors. However, every week, the goods only come back once on Sunday, not often, about 200-300 branches. Depending on the canopy and shape of each branch, the price will vary, ranging from 300,000 to 600,000 VND/branch, from 1.3 to 1.6 meters high. There are even beautiful branches that are 2-2.2 meters high and cost up to 1.4 million VND. Because the price of this branch is quite expensive, she has to wait for customers to order Van to collect and then import it, but there is no surplus. Many customers called to urge her to refuse because the goods were not sold enough, Ms. Van said. There are heather branches worth millions of dollars still ordered by many people (photo: N.Thuy) Just selling heather branches for more than a month now, Ms. Phung Thuy Linh – owner of a flower shop in Tran Dang Ninh (Cau Giay, Hanoi) – also admitted that, in recent days, imported heather branches are as expensive as shrimp. fresh. Her shop is always out of stock, customers who want to buy have to wait for the goods to arrive next week. According to Ms. Linh, heather is often found in temperate countries such as Japan, Russia, Belgium, etc. When they return to Vietnam, they are very popular. However, the number of goods on each trip is not much, just over 100 branches, enough to pay for individual customers, not for wholesale delivery. Because the goods are not available and do not come back often, on this occasion, heather branches are even more “hot” and are sought after by many women. “The price of heather branches ranges from 250,000-300,000 VND / branch, expensive, about 1 million VND depending on the shape, height and canopy of each branch. Like peach and pear branches in Vietnam, heather branches are quite small and fragile, so the transport must be careful and gentle or it will break easily,” she said. Notably, at the end of the flowering season, the tree can still be used for decoration for a long time, until about October onwards, it is no longer available. Therefore, many people are very excited to buy and play on this occasion because the green leaves look very cool, bringing ethereal and luxurious beauty to the room, Linh said.

This fairy-tale scene made me imagine the magnificent primeval times. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes vivid, with warmth, dreaminess, and incredible mystery.

About 200 km from Saigon, Bu Gia Map National Park is located at the end of the South Truong Son range. This place has a rather special geographical position, which is a transitional place from the Central Highlands to the Southern Delta. To the east of Bu Gia Map is Dak Nong province, to the northwest, it borders Cambodia. I have been to many forests and climbing mountains in Europe and America, but the tropical forests of Southeast Asia (including Vietnam) always have their own charm that is hard to resist. Nature at Bu Gia Map attracts visitors by the rusticity, of the wildest things such as fresh, cool air and clear streams. In particular, this place is also characterized by the primeval forest when there are many rare species of trees such as rosewood, red oak, and cedarwood. Visitors coming here are easily caught up in the rolling, fanciful foliage of ancient trees up to 40-50 m high. Visitors coming here are easily caught up in the rolling, fanciful foliage of the 40-50 m tall old trees. I silently watched the clouds fly alternately in the forest foliage, in the high blue sky. Stepping into the wilderness always gives you a feeling of being nourished, peaceful and elated at the same time. Here, I also learn how to exploit my senses more, feel the natural world more and more attractive. Going through the primeval forests, breathe in the fresh air created by the trees. The air given by nature will make your soul light and relaxed. Nature also always heals our troubles, doesn’t it? The habitat of the humid tropical forest is diverse. There are plants that are used by indigenous people as medicinal herbs, or used in daily life such as giant umbrella tree, mausoleum. The forest also has cool, clear streams that are filtered completely naturally through layers, layers of forest trees and rocks. With low mountainous terrain, the trails here have a moderate slope, quite easy to go. The plants intertwine with the stream create a diversity of landscapes, as well as the habitat of many animals. The biodiversity makes the forest scenery more pure and fresh. I could smell the damp vegetation and the rotten leaves slowly blending into the forest soil, giving off a pungent odor. The deeper you go into the forest, the more strange and curious you will feel. The most interesting thing is probably when being immersed in the rapids and natural lakes in the middle of the forest with the flow originating from Dak Nong province. The clear sound of the stream, the murmuring water helps your soul to be strangely peaceful. This is the time when I let myself float on the pure, blue water. Lakes and streams intertwine with the forest canopy, blending in and out, creating a feeling of friendliness and immersion as if returning to the primitive period. Not only watching the majestic scenery, I also learned about the culinary culture and traditional dishes of the S’tieng and M’nong people such as lam rice, Thuc soup, grilled chicken, stream fish, wild vegetables… Going to pick wild vegetables, collect firewood, catch fish from streams… then set up a kitchen, boil water for tree roots with a mausoleum and cook in the middle of the forest with bamboo tubes. Traditional Thuc Soup (Trau Pung) of the S’tieng includes rattan buds, bitter eggplant, spinach, wild mushrooms and stream fish. Com lam, a traditional dish typical of the cultural identity of the S’tieng people. In the S’tieng language, lam rice is called “Bien man don ka”, which means that sticky rice is cooked into rice in a bamboo tube. This is also an indispensable dish in their holidays and Tet. The S’tieng and M’nong people have a long tradition of association with the mountains and forests. Since ancient times, these ethnic groups have lived along primeval forests and depended on hunting, gathering, and shifting cultivation. Coming here, I also had the opportunity to travel on the beautiful border route. There are 2 main roads to go through Bu Gia Map, DT 741 road and Binh Phuoc province border. The difference is that these two roads can connect to form a circle embracing the forest. Bu Gia Map National Park – the green lung of the Southeast region, is definitely a great experience for anyone who loves nature. There is no phone signal or internet, where you are completely immersed in nature, listening and enjoying the sounds of the mountains. You will feel the breeze on your skin, hear the harmonious singing of birds, smell the fragrance of plants, taste the sweetness of the air… Note before the journey You must contact the managers of Bu Gia Map in advance. They will assign a guide to lead you to the desired location. Without a guide, rangers and border guards will not allow you to enter the forest. In addition, you need to prepare all the basic items when entering the forest: – Shoes with good adhesion, climbing ability, bring slippers (when not going to the forest), long socks that can be draped over pants to avoid squeezing, insects – Comfortable jungle clothes, good elasticity, swimwear for bathing – Snacks and drinks – Common medical drugs, insect repellents, extractors

According to NRU MIET, Russian scientists are developing a new generation of radar that can see through all obstacles even though deployed in space.
Currently, scientists from the Sensorica National Technical Innovation Capability Center at the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology National Research (NRU MIET) have created a new radar platform for remote sensing of Earth from flying vehicles and space equipment.

Russian long-range radar system. “It is known that the lower the frequency range, the greater the penetrability of the waves, so our radar shooting can be done not only through clouds, fog but also under foliage and camouflage vehicles. . Accordingly, if a forest can be optically photographed under ideal conditions, our radar will be able to penetrate the foliage and be able to see any objects in the scanning area. ” Said Ilya Kuzmin, engineer of the Institute of Micro Devices and Control Systems called LN Presnukhina of NRU MIET. With the help of radar, it is possible to generate images not only of the visible surface but also to give its extensive interpretation, determining, for example, the state of soil and vegetation. By attaching the platform to an aircraft or drone, it is possible to capture volcanic eruptions, earthquakes or collapsing buildings. The new radar-controlled aircraft will provide images from which not only can the scale of the disaster be assessed, but also the detailed examination of objects. This development could also serve as the basis for satellite radars and applications in both scientific and military research. In the future, the satellite could carry out radar surveys on large areas of the country and around the world. The new radar can also be useful in agriculture for tracking crop growth, soil conditions and even fruit ripeness. During ice exploration in the Arctic and Antarctic conditions, the radar will determine the thickness of the ice and suggest routes that the icebreaker can take. In addition, the new radar system can help monitor the pipeline and oil pipeline. Radar is not, of course, an instant image projection camera; These are the reflected signals that are digitally recorded on a hard disk and processed by software, explains Ilya Kuzmin. At the same time with the revelation of new radar technology, Russia has also put into service the first unmanned radar system to monitor all flight activities in an area of 300,000 km2. General Andrei Koban, Commander of the Radio Technical Force of the Russian Aerospace Forces, said that each system is equipped with 20 radar modules. Each module can scout an area with a radius of 450km. “Integrated radar system with 20 modules, automatically control the aircraft’s operation over an area of 300,000 km2”, said General Koban. In addition to airspace control, the Nablyudatel radar is responsible for navigation, providing flight routes for aircraft that pass through the area in which it operates. General Koban also affirmed that this is the first radar system in history that can operate fully automatically without anyone participating in the control. Currently, Russia has deployed at least two Nablyudatel complexes to areas with the highest and most complex air traffic traffic.

Ong Do Nghi street attracts people with two straight and tall areca rows. “Green silk ribbon” of the West Ong Do Nghi route connecting the center of Tan Tru town with Duc Tan commune (Tan Tru district, Long An province) stands out in the middle of rice fields, green dragon fruits cut by two rows of tall areca kings. From a distance, the king areca row looks like a “green silk ribbon” winding, crossing the rice field. Just been concreted, Ong Do Nghi street is nestled between two straight rows of king’s areca, body as big as a hug. During 2km leading to Duc Tan commune, pedestrians are shaded by foliage of more than 300 areca stumps. The “nestled” road between the two rows of king areca trees is planted evenly. Local people said that the areca king on both sides of the road was planted nearly 30 years ago. Each areca tree root is planted a certain distance apart to form a natural fence. From the day areca was planted, people together take care of and protect to this day. Currently, the two rows of areca are soaring, the foliage is intertwined to create shade for the road. The winding road, running through the rice paddies, green dragon fruit gives people passing through here a sense of peace and tranquility. With the age of nearly 30 years old, the tall areca trees, the intertwined foliage cover the road. The people here said that the attraction and beauty of the road change in each time of the day, each season of the year. Early in the morning, the road attracts people to pass through by the scenery of two rows of areca hidden in the misty morning mist. At noon, the sun rises, the rows of areca cast long shadow into a strip of dark blue curling on the green, eye-catching green surface. In the afternoon, many people love the view of sunset through the king’s areca leaves. The road becomes pride, the symbol of Tan Tru town. Visitors on the road before and after Tet will have the feeling of going through the golden strip with the aroma of ripe rice fields. On other occasions of the year, a road like “green silk ribbon” curves across the green rice fields, and the dragon fruit garden is in bloom with yellow or red flowers in color of ripe fruit. “Path to happiness” In recent times, the areca king street has become famous in the distance, attracting tourists by its poetic beauty. From the very beginning of the street, visitors were attracted by the signboard reading “The way to happiness”. From a distance, the road is like a “green silk ribbon” squeezing through the rice fields, green dragon fruit. Locals say, the road is as meaningful to them as the name itself is. On the way home, Mr. Nam (45 years old, living in Duc Tan commune) said: “I am a resident here, walking on this road every day, but I still find it very beautiful. The feeling of walking under the king’s areca leaf, gliding through the straight areca trunks on the two sides of the road is very fond ”. According to Mr. Nam, the local people are “very excited” when the road is concreted clean and has a beautiful landscape. This place becomes a place to rest, stay cool, avoid the sun after every hour of working tired fields for people. To have this clean, beautiful, poetic road, the local people together protect and take care of the king’s areca row. “In the afternoon, surrounding people also come here to exercise. Some go for a run, others ride a bike, go for a cool walk to enjoy the fresh air ”, Mr. Nam shared. The green road is also chosen by many young people, couples choose to be a place of love, wedding photography. At weekends, this place also attracts many tourists to admire the scenery, experience the fresh air, check-in the most unique street in the West. Currently, local people put decorative lights along the road. Every day, people often come here to exercise, take a walk, breathe fresh air. Mr. Long, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City to “see” the happy road, shared: “The road is very beautiful. People say that the king areca row has been planted since 1992. If that is true, it is not easy to have 2 rows of beautiful areca like this “. “Because, more than a decade ago, the king’s areca was very valuable, there was even a fever about this ornamental plant. People around the road must be diligent, unanimous in protection and care to have this intact and beautiful areca goods, ”Mr. Long said. The road becomes an attractive destination for nature lovers. On weekends, young people often come here to “live virtual”. The path of happiness is also the place where many couples are in love. Watch more video: Beautiful flower wall attracts Saigon girls to check-in Posts, photos: Nguyen Son
