Where would you think of going to drink coffee in China? Most people would say, let’s go~ Let’s go to Starbucks and talk about life…

This habit has caused many Chinese tourists to look for Starbucks on the streets when they think of coffee when they arrive in France. But for Starbucks, the French seem to be very disdainful, but this disdain has been changed after being filled with Starbucks on the streets and alleys of France.

Unknowingly, the French began to accept Starbucks, but this does not mean that the traditional cafes in French alleys have been left out. The French love to drink traditional small cups of espresso coffee. This kind of coffee is called the most “original” coffee. After this kind of coffee was introduced to China, it began to diversify, such as adding milk froth to the coffee. Sprinkle some ground peanuts, and in a traditional French cafe, if you have such a requirement for the waiter, then you may become a different kind of existence.

However, as Starbucks began to popularize France, more and more young people began to accept different coffee flavors and drinks, so you see French people drinking coffee at Starbucks, most of them are young people, middle-aged French people still love black coffee. , I think that the existence of Starbucks is not suitable for buying coffee or drinking coffee.

Based on this situation, it is related to the French perception of coffee.

When do we think of going to Starbucks?

When Starbucks first entered China, it was loved by urban white-collar workers. At that time, they talked about cooperation, dating, friendship, and if they didn’t agree, they would go to Starbucks. Later, with the expansion of Starbucks, Starbucks began to become popular, and its taste gradually approached KFC. In short, going to Starbucks in China is just to kill time. Ordering a cup of coffee is accompanied by flirting. Without a single dog to play King of Glory, one afternoon has passed.

When it comes to French people and coffee, it’s better to talk about French cultural habits.

In history, the coffee shop was a place for French artists and senior intellectuals to share and communicate. Because of the elegant and quiet environment, many inspirations were born in a cup of coffee. So for the French, the cafe means history, art, and a quiet space, while for the Chinese, Starbucks means a place to socialize.

In 1686, the 331-year-old Procopet Café was also visited by the famous thinkers Voltaire and Rousseau.

In addition to being a kind of culture, the old cafe is also the history of France

The Procopet Café has been in business since 1686. The celebrities who have visited during the three hundred years include Voltaire Rousseau and popular celebrities. For the French, the Procopet cafe is not only a “national brand”, but also the foundation that the French are proud of. This kind of foundation is not something that a domestic literary town can make.

If you travel to France, in addition to Gothic architecture, Bufan walks along the alleys to find historic cafes, there is always surprise waiting for you.

But everything is quietly changing

At Starbucks on the streets of Paris, France, a cup of espresso is about 2 Euros (approximately RMB 15-16). The price/performance ratio is also the reason why many young French people like Starbucks. Perhaps in accordance with this trend, in the near future, the old cafes on the streets of France may one day become historical relics. The picture at that time may be that tourists are holding Starbucks coffee in their hands and visiting the old cafes.

(Transfer from sports arena+) Sports Weekly Special Correspondent Sun Qi

With the world champion halo on the head, many talented players, and the return of the former top scorer, the French team is destined to be the thorn in the eyes of the powers of this European Cup. While retaining the world championship team, Deschamps’ team has supplemented both veterans and newcomers, and will work hard to replicate the feat of Lian Zhuang at the turn of the century.

In the European Cup squad, the main force who won the Hercules Cup 3 years ago is still the backbone. Nine members of the world champions were not selected for this list, and the French team’s sufficient talent pool in the third line guarantees a wealth of choices for each position. With the return of Benzema, Deschamps needed to balance efficiency and splendor in tactical design.

Deschamps holds many good cards, and the center seems to be one of the few shortcomings. Benzema brings strong reinforcement to this position. He will lock the starting position and enrich the French team’s tactical system. His attack group with Mbappe and Griezmann can be regarded as one of the most luxurious combinations in team history. . Deschamps needs to ensure that Benzema, who has returned to the team for the first time in five and a half years, has a good chemical reaction with the two geniuses.

After the World Cup was crowned, in addition to some innovations in the friendly matches and the European League, the Blue Army system was still based on the asymmetric 442 (similar to 4231). If Deschamps continues to use the asymmetric 442, Benzema, who likes to pull side support, will create space for Mbappe’s unilateral blasting with Griezmann; the player’s multi-functional attributes provide the traditional 4231 or 433 and even the three-back formation. may. The diamond 442, which has been tested in actual combat, may allow the attacking trio to appear in their most comfortable position.

The main lineup of the French team has basically surfaced, and it is not small for Kim Pombe to be on the top. Rabiot and Coment will compete for another starting spot. This tournament allows 5 players to be replaced in regular time, which is a big plus for the strong Gauls on the bench.

Under the 24-in-16 format, the French team should be able to advance to the knockout rounds without any problems, but it will not be a smooth journey. In the dead group where the two host hosts are seated, the challenge to Germany in Munich in the first match is a great test. After that, they will fly to Budapest to face Hungary and Portugal in the last final.

This year’s European Cup matches are all over Europe, and flying distance has also become a potential factor affecting the overall prospects. During the group stage, the French team will not be troubled, but they will experience different lengths of flight if they qualify in different places. Get the first place in the group, the French team will go to Bucharest to play against a group third, and go directly to the first quarter of the knockout round. Once promoted, they will have the follow-up physical advantage; if they get second in the group, they will go to London to play against England where D The first place in the group, promotion will usher in a round-trip flight from London-Rome-London; the third in the group will face B1 or C1, even if it enters the semifinals, it will face the long consumption of Baku flying to London.

The championship is definitely the goal of the French team, and the semi-finals are the passing line. The strength of the cards is certainly an advantage, but countless precedents have proved that the World Series is not the winner, but the winner. As a target of public criticism, the Gaul must strive for a balance: while the team of death that kicked off at the latest finishes with a relatively ideal ranking, the physical fitness is allocated to deal with the knockout game with extremely low fault tolerance and many uncertainties.

Employees spied on for years Million fine for Ikea in France

Status: 15.06.2021 1:44 p.m.

For years, Ikea had spied out unpleasant employees in France and created customer profiles. Two former managers have now been found guilty – and the furniture store has to pay a fine of more than one million euros. In the process of spying on staff and customers, Ikea was fined one million euros in France. The judges at the court in Versailles found that the French Ikea subsidiary had carried out espionage between 2009 and 2012 to investigate unpleasant employees and create profiles of disgruntled customers. Unions accused Ikea France of fraudulently collecting personal data, particularly through illegally obtained police files, and of divulging personal information without permission. Company lawyers denied that the company had any “general espionage” strategy.

“It’s a symbol”

Abel Amara, a former Ikea employee who helped expose the crackdown, called the ruling a major step in citizens’ defense. “I am glad that there is justice in France,” he said. A trade union lawyer, Solène Debarre, expressed hope that the verdict “will shake some companies”. “A million isn’t much for Ikea, but it’s a symbol,” said Debarre.

Private security company took care of the data

The disclosure sheet “Canard enchaîné” reported in 2012 about a systematic spying. The security department of the French Ikea subsidiary commissioned a private security company in 2003 to provide the company with some confidential data on staff and applicants – such as information on possible criminal records or bank statements. Similar information is said to have been requested from customers who were involved in a legal dispute with Ikea. The FO union then filed a complaint against unknown persons about the illegal use of personal data.

Probation and fine

The manager, who was responsible for risk management at the time, admitted in court that 530,000 to 630,000 euros had been allocated annually for such investigations. The instructions to his department had come from the former CEO of Ikea France, Jean-Louis Baillot. This denied the allegations, but was sentenced to a fine of 50,000 euros and two years in prison. Another former responsible received 18 months probation and a fine of 10,000 euros. Of the other 13 defendants, some were acquitted, while others were also given parole. The Swedish group distanced itself from the alleged practices. After the investigation began in 2012, Ikea fired four managers and changed its internal policies. Several civil suits by unions and 74 employees are pending. After the judgment, the company said it had taken note of the decision. You now allow us to look ahead.

Both powerful women chose elegant outfits, but the First Lady of France took the spotlight by a special detail.
On June 11, senior members of the British Royal Family attended a reception for G7 leaders while the summit was taking place in the UK. This is the first time Princess Kate participated in such an important event and she quickly received compliments for her elegant style.

Shining is like that, but the royal bride also has to be overshadowed by the French First Lady Brigitte Macron. This is a rare occasion for the French President’s wife to appear in front of the media, so her appearance immediately attracted attention. Brigitte Macron surprised when choosing an elegant and graceful beige outfit. The hair is also carefully taken care of to create a perfect appearance. The most special thing is the French President, her 25-year-old husband holds his wife’s hand tightly. Despite the large age difference, Brigitte Macron is always pampered by her husband and shows sweet affection anytime, anywhere, making everyone jealous. The French President and his wife appeared at the reception party on June 11. Having received mixed opinions on appearance and style many times, but the latest appearance of Mrs. Brigitte Macron has received many compliments. The Express page also gave many compliments to the French First Lady when she exuded an elegant, gentle style that skillfully concealed the flaws on her body. Not only at the reception party, but before that, during a meeting with the British Prime Minister and his wife, Brigitte Macron also attracted attention when her husband held hands and showed affection. The French President always beams when walking next to his elderly wife. At the party, the French President and his wife Prince William also had a fun conversation with each other. According to French media, both Princess Kate and Brigitte Macron were very happy when they accidentally chose bright and elegant outfits. The French President always holds his wife’s hand when appearing, making everyone jealous of Brigitte Macron. The French President and his wife chat happily with the Cambridge family. The French first lady also expressed regret when she missed a visit to London with her husband in June 2020 because she had to undergo retinal surgery.

Germany’s defender Antonio Rudiger said he and his teammates will do everything possible, even ready to play bad to prevent the spearheads of France’s attack, before the big battle in Group F EURO 2020.
“Of course, France has very good strikers. We have to be ready to win one-on-one duels. We also have to play a little dirty, we can’t always play nice football. Yes. In front of players like them (Mbappe, Karim Benzema and Antoine Griezmann), you have to make your mark,” Rudiger shared.

Germany will host world champion France in the opening match in Group F – the death group of EURO 2020, where Portugal and Hungary are also present. Die Mannschaft is likely to play with a three-back formation, in which Rudiger can side with Mats Hummels and Matthias Ginter. Rudiger and his teammates will do everything to win the French team. In the 2020/21 season, Rudiger played very well, especially in the second half of the season to make a great contribution to helping Chelsea win the Champions League in a worthy way. The 28-year-old midfielder is considered to be Germany’s number 1 hope in defense at EURO 2020. Due to being in the death table, a defeat against France on the opening day could become a disaster for Germany. Therefore, experts believe that this competition is likely to end inconclusively. After the match against France, Germany will face Euro champion Portugal, before meeting Hungary in the final round of the group stage. This is an extremely heavy schedule for Joachim Low’s teachers and students because it has many potential risks.

The match between France and Germany is considered to be the most worth-watching match in the Euro 2020 group stage. The two teams will meet at 2:00 a.m. on June 16, in the framework of Group F. Both have attacking goods. With many stars, the confrontation between France and Germany is likened to the early final of the tournament.

But in terms of playing cars, the French team’s attack showed overwhelming dominance compared to the German strikers. Right wing striker Leroy Sane and Ousmane Dembele are two young wingers who are appreciated for their technical qualities and speed. In the last season, Leroy Sane made 44 appearances for Bayern Munich and scored 10 goals, while Ousmane Dembele also played 44 games for Barcelona and scored 11. The achievements of the two young wingers are quite equal. Leroy Sane drives a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe. Among the German strikers registered for Euro 2020, Leroy Sane is the player who spends the most on cars. This car was once brought by Sane to a furnace in Nottingham to upgrade when he was still at Manchester City. In addition, Leroy Sane also owns a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe worth $ 70,000. This model is often used by him to the training ground.

2021 marks 40 years of high-speed train TGV put into operation and becomes one of the pride of France in general and the French railway industry in particular. This is also an opportunity to look back at the history of nearly two centuries of formation and development of the French railway system, which is only less old than the railway system of neighboring England.

Born… as a historical necessity To learn more about one of the oldest and largest railway systems in the world, RFI Interviewed engineer Ta Quang Anh, working at the French National Railway Corporation (SNCF) about the birth of the French railway network. The engineer said that the French railway industry was “conceived” in the first three decades of the nineteenth century. Appearing more slowly in England, where the first steam engine was mounted on railcarts in trade fairs from about the mid-1810s, the birth of the French railway network was also in the similar scene, as a historical necessity. That necessary background is the final stage of the First Industrial Revolution in Europe, the period of the meeting between supply and demand. Regarding demand, in the economic field, it is the need to transport finished products in large quantities, especially in the mining industry and later in chemicals, textiles, and agriculture. In the political field, it is the need to plan territory, unify transportation and administration in a large country with many diverse geographical and cultural characteristics. The achievements of metallurgical technology have enabled the production of quality steels for train wheels and tracks, especially with production capacity for thousands of kilometers of track. In terms of supply, it’s the ability to respond to technology. This is also the intersection of two technological factors that have both developed to the necessary maturity at that time. On the one hand, the achievement of metallurgical technology has allowed the production of quality steels for train wheels and tracks, especially with production capacity for thousands of kilometers of track. On the other hand, in the mechanical and steam engine industry, the soul of the industrial revolution, despite overcoming barriers to liberate labor, is still an inspiring creative ground for optimization in terms of technology. performance and size. On the French side, in 1823, the first railway, 18 km long, connected a coal mine from the vicinity of Saint-Etienne down to a port of the Loire in Andrézieux. Although only using gravity to transport coal to the river port and using horse power to pull construction materials in the opposite direction, in terms of infrastructure, this is considered the first line of the French and European railway network. continent. Only 7 years later, another 58 km line connecting Saint-Etienne with Lyon was also put into operation. This was the first time in France, the steam locomotive improved by French engineer Marc Seguin was put into use instead of horses with a record speed of 12 km/h at that time. A year later, in 1831, the line also began carrying passengers. In 1823, the first railway, 18 km long, connected a coal mine from the vicinity of Saint-Etienne down to a port of the Loire in Andrézieux. In 1814, at the very beginning of the world’s railway history, when it first appeared in England, a strategic report was submitted to Emperor Napoleon by Chief Engineer Moisson-Desroches, highlighting the importance of it. of planning a railway network of seven lines radiating from Paris to all parts of the “hexagonal country”. By 1837, the strategic idea of Moisson-Desroches was concretized in the planning of Alexis Legrand, then the General Architect of roads and mines of France. The drawing that later became known as the “Legrand Star” was the first planning map of the French railway industry. Also in 1837, the first dedicated passenger railway was put into operation, connecting Paris to the suburb of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. On paper and in the field, 1837 can thus be considered the “AD” year of the French railway history. Before World War I, nearly 60,000 km of Line 1 covered France, a sixfold increase in about 60 years. After about 15 years of relatively spontaneous development (since the railway law 1842 stipulates the model of railway socialization), by the end of 1858-early 1859, the railway agreement between the State and 6 railway companies was established. iron is an important legal corridor for network development. This agreement is meant to divide the development market share of private companies authorized by the State to develop the arterial railway system. In 1865, the law was expanded to allow local governments to be authorized to build and operate branch and cross lines for railway companies. The period of the second half of the nineteenth century and the early years of the twentieth century, with the development stimulus mechanisms of the central and local governments, was the period of breakthrough development of the French railway network, at least in terms of total length of routes in the whole system. By the time of World War I, nearly 60,000 km of Line 1 (now about 30,000 km) covered France, a sixfold increase in about 60 years. All provincial administrative sub-areas are connected to the railway network. Also during the early twentieth century, power options such as electric and diesel were also tested and developed for locomotives. The birth of the SNCF was the result of the nationalization of the railway industry in favor of the plan to electrify the entire railway network, a proactive step after the energy and economic crisis of the 1930s. In 1938, the National Railway Corporation (SNCF) was established. The entire 42,700 km of railway with debts and more than half a million railway employees are combined into one. The birth of the SNCF was the result of the nationalization of the railway industry in favor of the plan to electrify the entire railway network, a proactive step after the energy and economic crisis of the 1930s. This was considered the optimal political-economic choice at that time, in the context that the precursor private companies of SNCF faced a lot of financial difficulties after a period of overheating development in terms of terminal infrastructure. In the nineteenth century and especially after the years of World War I there was no source of income, which was followed by the Great Depression of 1929. Railway unions, representing more than half a million workers, became industrial unions are very vocal in society, contributing significantly to workers’ movements. A breakthrough in quality The operating speed at that time was 260km/h, in the same year, the design and test speed reached a world record at 380km/h. The birth of the TGV opens a new breakthrough development phase for the French railway industry. Unlike the breakthrough period in infrastructure in the second half of the 19th century, TGV has “miniatured” France and even Europe with only 3-4 hours of travel. During the period 1990-2010, many domestic TGV routes were inaugurated, notably the Eurostar route running through 50 km of the English Channel tunnel to the UK, the Thalys route going to Belgium and the Netherlands… In 1997, the State separated the infrastructure management part from the SNCF by establishing the National Railway Network (RFF). This is the first step of France when implementing commitments on competition in the field of rail transport in the European Union (EU). In 2015, RFF re-entered a member company of SNCF, after having spun off the mining part into another independent subsidiary in the group. In 1981, France put into operation the first high-speed train line TGV connecting Paris and Lyon. In 2007, France once again broke the world record for the test speed of the express train at 574.8 km/h. To date, this is still the world record for train technology running on rails. In 2020, the state monopoly on train operation officially ends. During the last 30 years of the twentieth century, the absolutely safe operation of 400 tons of steel on rails at 320 km/h has always been a technological icon in the ground passenger transport industry. TGV technology is exported and transferred to many countries, in Europe, to the US, Morocco and even Korea. For the French, TGV is a “national pride”. According to a poll of the French population, the TGV is considered one of the most important inventions of the 20th century, along with the computer, mobile phone and microwave oven. For the passenger railway industry, TGV was born as a lifeline in the context of the energy crisis of the 1970s, the aging of the traditional railway system from nearly 150 years made the railway no longer an option. number one choice for travel needs as highways thrive and air routes become increasingly accessible to price segments. In passenger transport, the decisive factor is not necessarily the speed of travel, but the sum of travel time, comfort, safety and, of course, price. TGV was born to most harmoniously meet these factors. TGV routes connect the centers of major cities (in France and later in Europe, both mainland and British islands) in the journey with moderate time, high safety, good service quality. The railway network in France is operated by the French National Railways Corporation (SNCF). For those doing railway engineering and technology, TGV’s 20 years of conception, 40 years of exploitation, perfection and development has been and will be an inspiration for technical innovation initiatives in many years. fields, from structural infrastructure, energy, signal information to rolling stock; from the construction and manufacturing industry to the maintenance industry. According to engineer Ta Quang Anh, the nearly 200-year history of formation and development is an advantage of French railways. In the world, besides the UK, there is no country as “rail age” as France. This is a great advantage in terms of experience. The coverage of the French railway network compared to the entire geographical territory is very high. Although France is not a country with a very high percentage of urban population, according to one statistic, about 89% of the French population live less than 10 km from a train station (in cities like Paris, this distance is much smaller). . This contributes significantly to the formation of habits and the need to use railways for transportation. About 89% of the French population lives less than 10 km from the station (in cities like Paris, this distance is much smaller). This contributes significantly to the formation of habits and the need to use railways for transportation. On the other hand, rail transport in France with over 80% electrification is a fundamentally environmentally friendly transport industry. With such a large coverage, in the medium and long term future, with the commitments of the French Government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the framework of global environmental agreements, railway transport (both cargo and passengers) will undoubtedly remain key government priorities. As more than 80% of the railway network is electrified, with France’s civil nuclear power capacity, the French railway industry has a huge advantage in terms of energy initiative over most railway countries. However, the French railway industry also faces some limitations. A prime example is the British railway industry, which has been in decline since the late twentieth century. In the case of the French railway industry, in terms of people, changing production habits is no longer suitable for the application of modern means and production methods, in many cases, encountering resistance from the government itself. old experiences. In terms of infrastructure, most of the French railway network was designed and built before the twentieth century. Adapting to climate change is a big challenge for network maintenance and repair. TGV is a legacy engineering innovation based on ballast rock infrastructure and wheel-rail contact. But if you want to increase the speed of operation to over 400 km/h, such infrastructure is likely no longer suitable, especially when put on the balance sheet with the cost of maintenance. Of course, train speed is not a prerequisite, but if France decides to race in this direction, it must accept going slower than other countries that have developed or transferred technology for maglev infrastructure. such as Germany, Japan, China.

Friends hugged and toasted as Britain’s economy reopened on May 17, giving 65 million civilians freedom after a dismal four-month lockdown.
The UK economy began to “open up” when some restrictions were eased on May 17. France also has very positive signals.

“Will hug everyone who can” Most Britons will be free to hug, albeit with caution, have a few beers in pubs, sit down to eat in restaurants or visit the cinema after a series of strict lockdowns. Britain’s biggest public health crisis in a century has brought parties, gatherings and religious services to a halt, with fines of up to £10,000 ($14,000) for violators. The UK has begun to relax the anti-epidemic restrictions. (Photo: Reuters) British actress Joanna Lumley told The Telegraph: “I’ll literally hug everyone I can.” However, besides the excitement, there is also anxiety. Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned people to be cautious and suggested that the spread of the variant first identified in India meant the final reopening in the UK in June could be delayed. “Together, we have reached another important milestone in our path out of lockdown, but this next step must be taken with extreme caution.” he said. There is growing concern about the B.1.617.2 variant, which British scientific advisers say will become the dominant variant in the country, more contagious than B.1.1.7. From May 17 in the UK, gatherings of up to 30 people will be allowed outdoors, two families will be allowed to meet indoors; cafes, bars and restaurants will reopen for indoor service; nursing home residents will be allowed five visitors; and the use of masks will no longer be compulsory in schools. Clare Smyth, head chef of Core restaurant in London, who won her third Michelin star in January, said: “It’s been a long time.” Restrictions will be eased to varying degrees in different regions. The UK death toll from COVID-19 is 127,679 – the highest in Europe and the fifth highest in the world, behind the US, Brazil, India and Mexico, according to Johns Hopkins University. The UK economy last year suffered its worst contraction in three centuries. The government spends hundreds of billions of pounds saving jobs and companies. France opens the door cautiously Meanwhile, with vaccination being accelerated and the number of cases falling, the French are waiting for the anti-epidemic restrictions to be eased on April 19. Groups of up to six people will be able to dine together as restaurants with outdoor spaces open at 50% capacity, people get access to museums, theaters and cinemas, while curfews are in will be rescheduled from 7pm to 9pm. Locations in France will be opened to operate at partial capacity. (Photo: The Connexion) This is the latest step in a gradual reopening plan in France, starting with allowing travel between regions from the beginning of May. Public health official Jerome Salomon told JDD Sunday: “Continued social contact is one of the factors that make up public health” However, some restaurant owners are complaining about serving limits, especially in light of the risk of rain in May. “Imagine you restarting the whole machine, creating a new menu, bringing all the staff back, but then you have to destroy everything and throw away your merchandise because it rains.” Chef Philippe Etchebest told JDD. Furthermore, less than half of restaurants across France have outdoor dining spaces, he said. Movie theaters can open at up to 35% capacity. Museums, theatres, zoos, libraries and all shops will be allowed to reopen at partial capacity. In France, 20.3 million people have received the first dose of the vaccine to date, and 8.8 million have received both doses. The government aims to hit the first 30 million doses by mid-June and is currently rescheduling injection appointments for people over 50 to anyone over 18. However, President Emmanuel Macron warned that if infections flare up again, the government could “emergency brake” on reopening.

The legendary helmet of Emperor Napoleon. In Belgium, an exhibition with the theme “From Waterloo to Saint-Hélène, the birth of a legend” is taking place at the 1815 Battle of Waterloo Memorial, depicting the six years of captivity of the Napoleon after his bitter defeat at Waterloo. On May 5, 1821, ailing Napoleon died after being imprisoned on the island of Saint-Hélène (Longwood), a British overseas territory, for six years. He was only 51 years old then. According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Brussels, the 1815 Battle of Waterloo Memorial has chosen to commemorate this milestone with a special exhibition in which hundreds of objects have been collected recalling Napoleon’s years in captivity. moments of memory. Cared for by 20 men from his bodyguard, Napoleon took advantage of these years to write memoirs and record his legend in notebooks filled with historical facts. To evoke this period from 1815 to 1821, about 50 objects, original pieces, maps, manuscripts… were brought from Sainte-Hélène by organizations, where the French preserved them immeasurably. treasured, like preserving places once occupied by the defeated Emperor. The remaining half of the objects come from private collections, especially Belgian collections. Antoine Charpagne, curator of the exhibition, said: “Introducing Napoleon’s daily life in Longwood was not as easy as imagined, we have assembled objects such as the bathtub in which Napoleon spent at least an hour and a half. every day, clothes, personal belongings, or one of the Emperor’s three helmets, are all original objects.” The bronze bath that Emperor Napoleon used while imprisoned on the island of Saint-Hélène. According to him, “it must be understood that Napoleon was imprisoned on an island 2,500 km off the coast of Africa – the nearest place, 2,500 km and constantly followed by 600 guns, because the British feared someone would come to take him. Let’s go. The climate here is very humid and windy. The house is destroyed by rats…”. Mr. Charpagne emphasized: “The exhibition allows the public to understand why Napoleon is important, even in the midst of the debates that still stir European society. It embodies a moment of change in the midst of the old regime that has never been so important. we know the past and the contemporary world”. The first part of the exhibition takes visitors from the battlefields of Waterloo to the road of exile with various items belonging to Napoleon, such as the bivalves with a collar worn by Napoleon in 1815, or belts, ornaments, manuscript signed by the Emperor. These objects have a special quality that enhances the value of the exhibit. Lion’s Hill, mark of Napoleon’s last battle at Waterloo, Belgium. The exhibition also introduces the public to the daily life of a captive on the island in the middle of the vast ocean. To escape his melancholy, Napoleon devoted all his energy to gardening and allowed himself to go for a few walks each day. Even far from the golden palaces, the defeated Emperor still managed to maintain a certain court ritual. Visitors see some everyday items of the Emperor such as a costume, a pot, a coffee machine. The exhibition evokes memories of Napoleon and the mark he left on history, even to this day. Napoleon was the creator of the Civil Code. “We also have to thank this Emperor for applying units of measurement, such as liters, kilograms, driving on the right, even and odd numbering of houses. Familiar elements in their daily lives. us now,” said Charpagne. When Napoleon died, this martyred Emperor immediately ignited the romantic spirit of the politicians and artists of the time. In 1840, his ashes were brought back to France on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, where more than 2 million people attended the procession. The exhibition is expected to be open until October 17 this year.

Tourists visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Documentary photo: AFP/VNA Although reopening to welcome visitors, this tourist destination still ensures the implementation of medical measures to prevent epidemics. Accordingly, the number of tourists visiting this place will be limited to 10,000 people / day. In order to ensure social distancing, only half the number of regular visitors are allowed to use the elevator. In addition, visitors will have access to all attractions within the Tower grounds, except for some areas under renovation. During the first wave of COVID-19 epidemics in the spring of 2020, the Eiffel Tower had to be closed for 3 months, then closed again from the fall of 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic re-emerged. Online ticket booking service to visit this place will start operating from June 1. * Meanwhile, Giorgio Armani, an Italian fashion house, announced that it will hold a live show to introduce the men’s Spring Summer collection on June 21 in Milan. This will be the company’s first live show after more than a year of conducting online shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that Armani will also have a private show at the Italian Embassy on July 6 within the framework of the Paris fashion show. However, Armani said the show schedule could change depending on the epidemic situation. Thus, Armani is the first Italian fashion house to announce plans to perform live. Previously, Armani was also the first fashion house to announce the cessation of live fashion shows in February 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out and spread strongly throughout Italy.

When I revisited this site again, many years ago before it was used as a “son et lumiere” show (show of light and music), I noticed that the costumes had to be strong, white and black. “, added Chanel creative director. Designer Virginie Viard weaves both Mod and Punk inspiration into this Cruise 2022 collection to highlight suit designs, white and black mini skirts, or square knit dresses, dotted with mesh socks. bold mod personality. Accessory designs are extremely rich such as leather hoster belts worn on the hips or thighs, chain pants straps, necklaces, thorny lip piercings of the Punk style. Meanwhile, graphic print suits with new designs, featuring blouse bodices and tight peplum skirts, or pigeon motifs drawn from artist’s pencil and brush drawings Cocteau is also vividly reproduced on cardigans and sweatshirts.
Participants in the “Deep Time” study emerged from the Lombrives Cave after 40 days underground. Photo: AP. After 40 days of voluntary isolation, on April 24, a group of volunteers consisting of 15 people participating in a scientific experiment called Deep Time came out of the vast Lombrives cave in southwestern France. They consisted of eight men and seven women living in the deep, dark and wet caves to help researchers understand how humans adapt to drastic changes in conditions and habitats. They have no watches, no sunlight, and have no contact with the outside world. With bright smiles on their pale faces, 15 volunteers left the Lombrives cave in cheering applause. They must wear special glasses to protect their eyes after long periods of time in the dark. When returning to the ground, all the volunteers wore special glasses to avoid shock to the light. Photo: AP. Marina Lancon, 33, one of seven female members in the test, said: “This is like being pressed on an emergency pause button.” Ms. Marina still wanted to be able to stay in the cave for a few more days, but she also said she was happy to see the wind blowing in her face again and to hear birds singing in the trees in the French Pyréneés. And she said, in a few days she has no plans to reopen her smartphone to hope to avoid a “too brutal” return to real life. The group of volunteers began to return from the ground. Photo: AP. For 40 days and nights, the team lived and explored the caves as part of the Deep Time project. There is no sunlight inside, the temperature is 10 degrees C and the relative humidity is 100 percent. The cave dwellers had no contact with the outside world, had no pandemic updates, nor any contact information with friends or family. Scientists at the Human Adaptation Institute leading the 1.2 million euros ($ 1.5 million) “Deep Time” project, said this experiment will help them better understand how people adapt to drastic changes in conditions and habitats. Because they don’t have a clock, team members keep an eye on their circadian clock to know when to wake up, go to bed, and eat. They count their days not by hours, but by their sleep cycle. Therefore, Project Director, Mr. Christian Clot was surprised that the time in the cave was over: “We think it’s only been 30 days.” The estimate of one team member is only 23 days. Members participating in the Deep Time project study speak during the press conference after returning from the Lombrives Cave after 40 days underground. Photo: AP. Working with laboratories in France and Switzerland, the scientists tracked the 15 members’ sleep patterns, social interactions, and behavioral responses via sensors. This sensor is designed as a small thermometer inside a capsule that participants swallow like a pill. It measures body temperature and transmits data to a computer until it is naturally cleared out. On April 23, the scientists told the study subjects they would be out soon. After the 40-day challenge, 2/3 of the group still wished to stay in the cave for a little more time. Photo: AP. On April 24, when they were released from the cave, although the participants looked tired, two-thirds of the participants expressed a wish to stay underground a little longer to complete group projects. At the beginning of the expedition, said Benoit Mauvieux, a biologist involved in the study. “Our future as humans on this planet will flourish,” said Clot after exiting the cave. “We have to learn to better understand how our brains are able to find new solutions, in any situation.”

A treasure discovery site with lots of gold bars and gold coins is located inside an old house in the town of Morez in the Jurassic region, eastern France. According to experts, all of the old metal belonged to a wealthy merchant family in the area at that time. However, the last life of the family had no children. Mayor Laurent Petit said the three-storey building in the center of town was home to four brothers and sisters without children. The last one passed away at the age of 90 last year. Then, the property’s legal heir did not use the house and sold it to the city hall for more than $ 156,000. The old house has been abandoned for a long time on a land called Maison Jobez by the locals. Recently, the town hall staff conducted a house cleaning to prepare for the city renewal campaign when they discovered the treasure full of gold. They discovered gold in two separate waves. Specifically, for the first time, employees found 5 boxes of gold bars and coins worth more than $ 600,000 on the back of a dusty shelf. A second time, when opening a locked safe in the closet, the staff found gold coins worth about $ 180,000. Mayor Laurent Petit said: “The local government was extremely confused and surprised to find so many gold bars and gold coins. None of us had ever held a gold bar. We just saw it in the pictures and thought that the gold bar must be very large, but here each one weighs only about 1 kg, the size of a cigarette pack “. The town hall intends to use the gold in this surprise treasure to reinvest back into the development of the area. Mayor Laurent Petit shared that the original home seller knew inside the three-story house contained treasure but believed it was gone. Mayor Laurent Petit said: “In the house is full of furniture and there have been several generations living without throwing anything away.”

French oak trees, standing for hundreds of years in the once royal forest of Bercé, now carry a particularly sacred mission. The architectural and forestry masters of the Administration of President Emmanuel Macron decided to choose these old oak trees to rebuild the fire-collapsed bell tower of Notre Dame Cathedral – a symbol history, religion and culture are likened to the heart of France.
  Effort from ashes

Recently, the international media has reported very boldly that France has chosen the “standard material” to rebuild the completely damaged dome, arrow tower and bell tower of Notre Dame . This can be considered as one of the most happy signals because the fire disaster of Notre Dame took place on April 15, 2019 has caused not only the French people but the whole world in shock and pain. Accordingly, about 1,000 old oak trees in more than 200 public and private forests were cut down at the end of March. “Oak trees will be selected from all parts of France,” said Jean-Louis Georgelin, former Chief of Staff of the French Army assigned to the special agency to oversee the repair of Notre Dame . This is a country-wide project. The restoration will ensure the building can stand for at least 8 to 10 centuries ”. To take such practical steps, the French government had to go through many challenges from recruiting experts, finding restoration materials and listening to people’s reactions. In July 2020, in the context of fierce public opposition, French President Emmanuel Macron had to reject the idea that the bell tower designed by Eugène Viollet le Duc could be rebuilt in concrete to limit dust. radioactivity, if unfortunately there is a fire. After that, Mr. Macron announced, Notre Dame will be rebuilt like before. And this kicked off the hunt for woods across France, culminating in a thorough selection in January and February. According to experts, the reconstruction of Notre Dame in wood is a difficult prospect because inside this ancient building is a “network of complex wooden beams”. Specifically, 52 acres of forest wood were cut in the twelfth century to erect the church’s roof and each beam was made from a tree trunk. However, Mr. Jean-Louis Georgelin asserted: “This is historical responsibility. If everyone gets to work together and everything is well planned, bringing the church back in within the next five years will not be an impossible feat. ” Expected, Notre Dame will begin to be restored in the fall of 2022. Source: Reuters. In order to race against time and limit errors, the Notre Dame restoration specialists had to work very seriously and meticulously. This is reflected in the first stage including the selection and processing of wood. The oaks with this historic mission must meet the standards of quality and outstanding metrics, such as the trunk must be more than 1 meter in diameter and have a minimum length of 18 meters. In addition, they must be “harvested” by the end of March to avoid more sap production and wet weather that can degrade the quality of the wood. In particular, the “soul” of Notre Dame including the bell tower and the 93-meter-high arrow-top will be reconstructed with eight oak trees cut from the royal forest of Bercé, which once belonged to the French kings. When examining a series of oak trees over 200 years old in the Bercé forest, Aymeric Albert, Commercial Director of the French Forestry Commission, commented: “The trunks here are in excellent condition, without any any defect. They are large enough to be 18m long beams, the length needed if you want to bear the weight of the sharp tower. It is known that the oak trunks in the Bercé forest cost about 15,000 euros / stem, and will be dried for 12 to 18 months before proceeding with further treatment. In addition, after the planned timber is cut, the forest rangers will plant seedlings to replant the new trees. It is expected that the restoration of Notre Dame will start in the autumn of 2022 and be completed in April 2024. The mission of solidarity The Church has always been at the center of social change, Insider said. This may not be “always true” but is extremely accurate in the case of France. Immediately after President Emmanuel Macron announced a fundraising campaign to rebuild Notre Dame, many individuals and organizations in France and around the world voiced their support both financially as well as participating in the restoration of architecture. . Just two days after the fire, the fund’s donation exceeded a billion dollars. This is also the estimated cost to restore Notre Dame in the most aesthetic and quality way. This fact shows that, at that time, France, a people more divided than ever since World War II due to the many months of “Golden Vest” protests, became should unite in a common mission. Michel Druilhe, President of the French forest network France Bois Forêt said: “As the largest cathedral in the heart of France with a long history in the world, we are very pleased with the staff in the forestry sector. Industry, from the woodcutter to the sawmakers, was mobilized to join hands in rebuilding Notre Dame. This is a very meaningful job ”. President Macron also declared: “It is up to us to turn this terrible disaster into unanimous opportunity … This is not the time for politics”. Back at the time of the fire at Notre Dame, according to a statement from the French Government, the fire happened at around 6:50 a.m. on April 15, 2019 local time (23h50 ‘on April 15, 2019, Hanoi time. ) at the top of the tower, then spread to the entire roof of the church. Disaster caused the bell tower to collapse, and devastate the roof of this famous Gothic-style building. However, things could have gotten worse and Notre Dame could have been completely burned down if the Paris firefighters arrived 15-30 minutes later. Precious items include the Crown of Thorns – believed to have been worn on Jesus’ head during the events that led to his crucifixion; The Le Grand Orgue – a musical instrument dating back to the 1730s and the XIII century robe of Saint Louis were both saved from the fire. Obviously, if the fire and bravery of the firefighters were able to prevent a more horrifying disaster for this project, at present, the consensus and efforts of the government, the people as well as French architects and experts bring hope for a Notre Dame of cohesion and peace. Affordable, in the future, the pricelessness of Notre Dame will be “redefined” by the solidarity of everyone !? Notre Dame Cathedral Paris Notre Dame is located on the island of Cite in the middle of the Seine in the center of Paris. This special geographical location has made Notre Dam become a historical symbol, associated with the formation and development of Paris. In 1163, the first stone was placed in the presence of Pope Alexander III and King Louis VI. The construction of Notre Dame Cathedral in Gothic style lasted until 1345 with the participation of many famous architects at that time such as Jean de Chelles, Pierre de Montreuil, Pierre de Chelles, Jean Ravy and Jean. le Bouteiller. Notre Dame witnessed the coronation of King Henry VI in 1431, the coronation of Emperor Napoleon in 1804, and the canonization of the French heroine Joan of Arc in 1909, presided over by Pope Pius X. Funerals of the two late French Presidents Charles de Gaulle and Francois Mitterand also took place at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. It is known that Notre Dame was the place with the highest chop in Paris until the completion of the Eiffel Tower in 1889. According to the BBC, there are no other landmarks that represent France in a separate and unique way like Notre Dame. Maybe you don’t know? The flag of the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam once flew at the top of the bell tower of the Notre Dame Cathedral. It happened on the night of January 19, 1969, the day before Richard Nixon was sworn in as the 37th President of the United States and six days before the opening of the Paris four-way conference, negotiating peace in Vietnam. It is known that French police had to mobilize helicopters to remove the flag. There hasn’t been any official source yet to confirm who hung the flag. However, this can be considered as one of the special images throughout the 9-century history of this architecture.

Patient COVID-19 is being treated at a hospital in Bry-Sur-Marne, France, on April 15, 2021. Photo: AFP / VNA Prime Minister Castex confirmed there is evidence that contagion in the past 10 days has tended to decrease. Castex also announced that measures to restrict people from leaving the area within a 10-kilometer radius around the house will be removed from May 3. France is implementing a third blockade to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but this prevention measure is considered to be more relaxed than the previous two times. During the 3rd blockade, outdoor activities are still encouraged to improve the mental health of residents. Most of the non-essential stores, cafes, restaurants, and cultural venues are closed. In a new statement, Mr. Castex said that shops, certain cultural and sporting activities and cafes could be reopened from mid-May, depending on the disease situation in Vietnam. at that moment. The French Prime Minister also emphasized that the government will allow regional openings, starting with regions with low COVID-19 prevalence. National curfew from 7:00 p.m. daily remains in place until further notice. Mr. Castex noted this measure will be reevaluated in mid-May but the government has not put in place a firm schedule for easing. To date, France has recorded a total of more than 5.4 million cases of COVID-19, of which 102,164 died. Over the past few days, the number of COVID-19 cases requiring special treatment has been contained below 6,000. After a slow start, the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in France is accelerating, with more than 13 million people getting at least the first shot. From April 24, French people aged 55 and over will be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine from the American pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson. This is the fourth COVID-19 vaccine to be licensed in France, after the products of Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca. Meanwhile, to prevent the emergence of new variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the French Ministry of the Interior decided that all passengers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India and South Africa would have to undergo quarantine. At the accommodation for 10 days, under the supervision of French police. Currently, health officials in all countries are encouraging the implementation of measures to be alert for the types of viruses with faster spread rates. Also on April 22, Belgian health officials announced the presence of the virus variant in India in this country. Specifically, the new variant was discovered in 20 nursing students from Paris (France) to Belgium in mid-April. The group with a total of 43 students was quarantined upon entry. Experts say the group was infected from a super infectious patient, possibly a member of the group, or from another passenger also on the trip from France to Belgium. A variant of the virus detected in India called B.1.617 has also appeared in several other countries such as the US, Australia, Israel and Singapore. Concerned about this variant, some countries, including the UK, applied a restriction on travel with India.

After the German army launched a full-scale invasion of Poland, Poland resisted quite bravely, because they firmly believed that their own strength and their allies, Britain and France, would not sit idly by. They only needed to drag the German forces in their own territory. When Britain and France entered the battlefield, The German army will enter a situation where the two lines are under attack in the same battle.

When it was finally proved that all the bravery in Poland was just a kind of Don Quixote-style bravery, it did not accurately predict everything that would happen thereafter.

When the German army rushed all the way in Poland, the western front was still quiet, and various news kept coming. The British army began to assemble and prepare to cross the ocean to deal with the war provoked by the German army, and the French army continued to assemble towards the border. , There is a plan to cross the border and give the Germans a head-on.

But in fact, in that historic September, nothing happened on the Western Front, and there was no gunshot on the French-German border.

The people in Germany call this “quiet on the border”. Of course, there is another term called “sitting war.”

In Britain and France, people call this period a “fake war.”

Poland was very anxiously waiting for the French army to enter the war, but in the end they did not wait for this expectation, and the United Kingdom did not quite understand that France’s World First Army was annexed at the border, facing only 26 German divisions, why would hide in the cement Behind the fortifications watched quietly as his allies were crushed by the Germans.

Perhaps only Germany and France know the reasons for this. As early as the beginning of the German army preparing to invade Poland, Harder, the German Army Chief of Staff, said:

I firmly believe that France will not take fortifications against us during this time, because the French will not disregard the wishes of the Belgians to send troops to us through Belgium. In the absence of a clear form, the French will continue to take a defensive position. They hope Poland People can hold on for themselves, they must wait for the arrival of the British. The French have already lost their decisiveness in World War I, especially when facing us, and such a mentality will make them miss opportunities that can stop us, and what we have to do is not to give Poland any plans to react quickly. , Decisively and completely destroy them at all costs. Harder has accurately predicted the cowardly psychology that the French cabinet is facing at this moment. Starting from the Sudeten incident, and even in some more distant events, the French cabinet has been constantly trying to avoid war and avoid conflict with Germany. This psychology has been caught by the top German leaders. After all, there is no threat to a country that shows weakness. At least at this moment, France is still no longer the France that once had the world’s first army. They used to lack courage, and even slapped the whole of Europe, but now this France is like a middle-aged and old man who has been chopped. It strokes. The wound has lingering palpitations. It no longer dares to face the challenge and can only do everything possible to avoid fighting with others. On the French side, it is indeed what the top German leaders thought. Because a generation of blood was shed in the First World War, France, which originally wanted to completely separate Germany after World War II, was counterbalanced by the United Kingdom and the United States. France finally saw it. Knowing everything, Britain and the United States will not allow any country on the mainland to become a hegemon. They want to create opposition to the mainland hegemony and imprison each other. But thinking of the scars and scars that he paid in World War I, France is unbalanced, because the battlefield will only be on the mainland, while Britain and the United States will not be harmed. Therefore, France has been lost since World War I. The state of the whole country is Fear of war, this fear is not fear of fighting, but it understands that France’s will to fight is meaningless, and even if it gives everything to win, it does not make sense. It’s like Napoleon once attacked many great powers on the European continent and conquered almost the entire Europe. However, because it could not conquer the United Kingdom, the United Kingdom could engage in anti-French alliances one after another. This is actually meaningless. Repeatedly over and over again, Napoleon can win many times, but as long as one loses, and Britain has unlimited opportunities, unless Napoleon really summons One Piece’s pirate fleet to conquer Britain. And France at the pass of World War II was also very depressed. It didn’t want to go to war. All it wanted was to defend itself. Britain said you go first, and I will be there soon. Although France nodded, it still waited. It wanted When the British army arrives, let’s rush together and die together. It is precisely because of this mentality that when Poland faced the German army all the way to the rush, the French army was silent at the border, and when the time came to September 7, the German army had completely destroyed Poland’s military power, so France’s last The opportunity is gone. After September 7th, Halder worked out a plan to relocate the army to the west, and two days later, the third order was issued, and the Luftwaffe army and air force were transferred from Poland to the western front. At that time, the German high-level order was that if the British and French troops were a little provocative, the ground forces could cross the western border, and the air force could wait for instructions to launch air strikes against Britain. From this we can see the decisive difference between Germany and France in dealing with this matter, and, it is worth mentioning that France and Poland in the “French-Poland Military Agreement” signed in May 1939 clearly guaranteed:

“Once Germany attacks Poland with its main force, France will launch an offensive against Germany with its main force from the 15th day after the start of the French general mobilization.” And since then, in the high-level discussions between the two sides, France has also clearly guaranteed that in the event of such a crisis, France will send 35 divisions to help Poland. But when the war really broke out, France’s answer to Poland was:

“France needs time to prepare. At this point in time, a new offensive can be launched between 1941 and 1942, and this offensive still needs the help of British troops and American equipment!” These words directly disappointed Poland to the extreme, because they could no longer support it in the first week of the war. The Polish government had to choose to go into exile. Although the Polish army that was cut off by the Germans was brave, it was obvious that there was no such bravery. use. During the sit-in, Britain also seemed very anxious, but it didn’t help, because the troops they could send to France were pitiful. In the three weeks following the end of the Polish campaign, Britain sent a total of four divisions, with less than 160,000 people. Churchill called this “symbolic help”, but he also firmly believed that the French army had the strength to solve all this, especially when the main force of the German army was in Poland, the French only needed courage. Can successfully stop the German army, but they did not do so. For causing this situation, Churchill believed that the French had to bear the main responsibility. He even said:

“This war was actually lost a few years ago.” It can be seen that he was disappointed with France, but Churchill did not seem to have thought that it was France who tried to divide Germany, and it was Britain and the United States that kept Germany intact and strengthened again. Therefore, Churchill’s words are unfair to France.

Moreover, although there was no conflict between Germany, France and Britain on land, in the sea, the German forces sank 11 British ships within one week of the declaration of war, and the British maintained absolute restraint in this matter.

Therefore, compared with the “political and military restraint” shown by France, the British are also “hesitating”. Both countries are waiting with their own ghosts, and the result of the waiting is the Western Front in 1940. The battlefield was swept directly by the Germans.

The French shipbuilding industry had a unique solution by cutting two damaged nuclear submarines in half, taking the two halves of the hull and assembling them into one complete new ship.
The 14-hour fire on the Perle nuclear-powered submarine, while it was in dock for repairs in June 2020, left the front section severely damaged, the French Defense Ministry said.

Ship with structural damage with steel parts and cannot be restored. But the second half of the 73-meter submarine was unaffected in the fire. CNN said. Fortunately for the French Navy, a submarine of the Saphir class was decommissioned in 2019, awaiting dismantlement at a shipyard in the port of Cherbourg, northwest France. The front section of the Saphir is still very good. French officials decided to take the first part of the Saphir, combined with the rear of Perle to form a new submarine. The Perle submarine was transferred from the city of Toulon to Cherbourg on a dedicated train in December 2020. At the shipyard, workers cut the Perle in half in February and did the same with the Saphir in March. The Perle submarine was cut in half at the Cherbourg shipyard. Photo: Naval Group. In early April, the second half of the Perle and the front half of the Saphir were fixed to tow them, then welded to connect the two hull halves together. The connection of the two hull parts will be completed in the coming months, said Klara Nadaradjane, spokesman for Naval Group, main contractor. The new submarine is still called the Perle. It will be 1.4 m longer than the original, as an additional component connecting the two halves of the hull is needed. Spokesperson Nadaradjane said the connection of the two halves of the hull was simulated with a 3-dimensional digital model, before being put into practice. However, a Naval Group spokesman did not disclose the cost. The Perle, commissioned in 1993, is the newest of six French Rubis-class nuclear attack submarines. Rubis-class submarines are expected to be replaced by more modern Barracuda-class nuclear attack submarines. However, it was not until 2030 that the last of the Barracuda-class submarines was delivered to the French Navy, forcing them to find a way to repair the Perle submarine. This is the first time the French shipbuilding industry has cut two different ships in half to merge them into one complete ship. Previously, this technique was used by the US to repair their damaged submarines.

Ms. Catherine DEROCHE, Chairman of the Franco-Vietnam Friendship Senate Group in the Senate, highly appreciated the capacity of the new Government in Vietnam.
On the occasion of Vietnam’s new government, a reporter on the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in France had an interview with Ms. Catherine DEROCHE, Chairman of the Committee of Social Affairs of the French Senate, who is also the Chairman of the Group. Vietnam-France friendship senator in the Senate, on Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements in recent years, as well as the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Ms. Catherine DEROCHE, Chairman of the Committee of Social Affairs of the French Senate, is also the Chairman of the Franco-Vietnam Friendship Senate Group in the Senate.

Reporter: The new Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, used to be the leader of a locality with an important position in Vietnam economically. In your opinion, what are the advantages for the development of cooperation between the two countries?

Ms. Catherine DEROCHE: I believe that, when selected, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh has the necessary strengths. Local potential and wealth is an important spearhead. With deep economic knowledge and understanding of localities, he will be a good middleman for the cooperation relationship between localities of Vietnam and France. Currently, there are many localities in Vietnam having cooperation relations with localities in France.

Reporter: How do you evaluate the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France, especially the role of Vietnam in the French strategy in the Indo-Pacific region?

Ms. Catherine DEROCHE: Vietnam plays an important role in the Indo-Pacific. The Indo-Pacific is also a strategically important region for France. France wants to consolidate a foothold in this region. Vietnam is an important partner in our strategy here.

We aim to ensure peace and stability in the region, while at the same time guarantee freedom of navigation, respect for international law. With its increasingly important role in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its pace of development, it is undeniable that Vietnam is a particularly important partner of France in this region.

Reporter: How do you assess Vietnam’s achievements in recent years, especially its success in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic?

Ms. Catherine DEROCHE: For the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam is an example because Vietnam has successfully implemented a strategic strategy since the outbreak of the epidemic, which has been recognized by international organizations. This was indeed an admiration but also a great surprise. How has a country like Vietnam overcome the pandemic, unlike many other countries. To date, only a few thousand viral infections have been recorded, with few deaths. The vaccination campaign has also been implemented very quickly. I think this is a very remarkable management approach.

Meanwhile, the slow, slow awareness of the epidemic, the slow implementation of the bureaucracy made us face problems with masks, testing, the vaccination campaign started but late. France as well as other European countries did not adopt a suitable strategy. In France, we have never been able to isolate the infected person, then proceed to trace, the decision to close the border was made too slow.

Countries like Vietnam adopt a “no virus infection” strategy, while we cannot. /.

Reporter: Would like to thank you so much!./.

According to CNN, the French Navy just made a big surprise when announcing the world’s first submarine transplant transplant.
This one-of-a-kind submarine grafting image published by the French global shipbuilder Naval Group shows that this transplant was performed from two halves of two different submarines and assembled into one ship. complete.

The two halves of these nuclear submarines cut in half were Perle and Saphir, respectively. From these two halves, the French experts performed grafting into the complete ship.

The French expert said that the reason they can be joined together by two submarines of the same line, both of the Rubis class and identical design.

The two halves of the submarine were prepared to be grafted by France.

The fact that France had to use two halves of two different submarines to combine because in June 2020, a fierce fire that lasted for 14 hours made the front of the Perle submarine on the dock unusable due to steel structure is deformed, some places do not guarantee the original stability.

But the other half of the 73m-long submarine, which displaced 2,600 tons, was unaffected by the fire. Meanwhile, the French Navy has a Saphir, in the same class, which was decommissioned in 2019 and is waiting to be dismantled.

The front part of the Saphir was assessed to be structurally stable, qualified to be paired with the back of Perle to form a complete attack submarine.

The Perle was then cut in half in February and March. After being placed on a calibrated shelf, the second half of Perle and the front half of the Saphir are now fully welded, the French Navy said.

Paired product is still named Perle but a bit longer. Naval Group said that all pre-construction designs are 3D digital modeling and ensure reliability, safety and does not affect the inherent design of the ship’s combat capabilities.

Perle entered service in 1993, the newest of the six Rubis-class nuclear submarines in the French Navy. During a joint resistance exercise in 2015 between the French and US Navy, a Rubis submarine “sank” the US aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.

This exercise took place within 10 days off the coast of Florida, to test the performance and combat capabilities of this aircraft carrier after 4 years of overhaul at a cost of up to 2.6 billion USD.

The French submarine named SNA Saphir S602, belonging to the Rubis nuclear attack submarine class participated in exercises with the US Navy’s Carrier Task Force No. 12, including the USS Theodore Roosevelt ( CVN-71), multiple Ticonderoga-class cruisers and Arleigh Burke class Aegis destroyers and a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine.

Phase 1 of the maneuvers went well when the French navy’s SNA Saphir nuclear submarine was ordered to join the allied US forces in a simulated conflict, in which the states thought The statue attacked the economic and territorial interests of the United States.

By the second phase of the exercise, the submarine SNA Saphir acted as an enemy submarine, with the mission to find and destroy the giant US aircraft carrier.

To do this, Saphir spent days stalking, bypassing the outer barrier under constant threat from P-3C Orion anti-submarine patrol aircraft and P-8A Poseidon of the US Navy, zones Arleigh Burke class destroyers and other anti-submarine defense ships.

The Saphir dodged the detection of anti-submarine forces, broke into the defense systems of the carrier group to avoid detection of long-range anti-submarine equipment and quietly approached the ship. airports worth billions of dollars of the US Navy.

The Saphir was close to the American aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and commanded the carrier to lock the target of the carrier in his periscope. The French submarines were then only a few hundred meters from the American aircraft carrier, within the effective range of anti-ship weapons such as torpedoes and Exoxet anti-ship missiles.

Both the US aircraft carrier combat information center held its breath when it discovered the incident and was alarmed when it was attacked by French ships. An attack order was issued, and the Saphir “sunk” theoretically the USS Theodore Roosevelt and most of her escort ships.

French bob: Endless summer day hairstyle inspired by French muses
It’s time to say hello to “bonjour” with the hottest “hot hit” hairstyle this summer: French bob.

Have you ever wondered, why are French women always a monument in the hearts of those who love beauty? Thanks to stylish fashion, sexy charisma or a beauty secret that is not sophisticated but characteristic? All of this is not enough because the beauty of the lady Parisienne would not be complete without their hair, the strongest statement about their style.

Among many popular hairstyles, for French muses, “French bob” is never outdated and is always a hairstyle for exciting summer days. Back in time to summer 2020, famous stars like Dua Lipa or Kaia Gerber have created a wave when wearing a Parisienne bob hairstyle. And does not stop there, this year, this hairstyle promises to continue to explode.

The classic French bob is a short hairstyle with chin length or shorter with a curled tail that embraces the face and bangs with tangled eyebrows. Now, this style has been transformed differently. From bob hairstyles combined with skewed bangs, long bangs to curled bob hairs that create a feeling of floating in the wind, all represent the immortal, untrustworthy natural beauty of the muses in the capital of light.

Nowhere outside of France, you can learn all the beauty and style building tips from any woman you meet on the road. With a round face, slightly angular, you can apply the classic French bob hairstyle like the muse Taylor LaShae.

To show off a slim face while showing off your personal style, the trick lies in how you style your hair. If you are a romantic girl who loves femininity, curl the ends of her hair inwards. If you like elegance but are out of the way, straighten your hair outward.

French women like to have bangs almost to the eyes, which gives them a poetic, cinematic look. You can let long bangs run past your eyebrows, and even your eyes long, then curl inward or gently mess it up to add a natural touch.

Light curls will make you look more attractive and careless. In particular, the gently wavy curls that combine clear skin and natural lipstick are the typical “je ne sais quoi” beauty of the girls in Paris.

It will not take much time to own a Parisienne bob hairstyle because with this style, the more messy the hair, the better. Above all, a healthy and shiny hair background is always the top priority of every girl. You should limit the effect of heat or heat, wash your hair too many times a week. Use regular conditioning products to have beautiful hair like Parisian ladies.

Perform: phuong ha

He also emphasized the need to continue to mobilize all efforts in the next three years to meet the government’s target of restoring this over 800-year-old symbol of France within 5 years.
President Macron made the above statement when visiting the Notre-Dame Cathedral exactly two years after the fire at this historic site. The French leader assessed that the restoration of the church had achieved great progress.

Jean-Louis Georgelin, who was chosen by President Macron to direct the restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral, said although the church will be reopened for devotees to pray in April 2024. but there is still a need to continue restoration work thereafter. This reconstruction effort received financial support of approximately 833 million euros (991 million USD) through donation campaigns in France and around the world.

Regarding the investigation of the cause of the fire, investigators have found several weaknesses in the safety system, especially in the alarm system and in the electrical system of a church lift. .

The fire at Notre Dame on April 15, 2019 lasted for up to 15 hours, collapsed the tower and burned a part of the roof of this historic site. President Macron has pledged to rebuild the church within five years, meaning it will open its doors to visitors when Paris is the host city of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

For nearly 9 centuries, Notre Dame Cathedral has been standing in the middle of the Ile de la Cite island on the romantic Seine river, witnessing the ups and downs of French history, becoming an endless inspiration for poetry and music. illustrates and welcomes millions of visitors each year.

If PSG wins the Champions League 2020/21, the future of top stars like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland will have significant changes.

Haaland, Kane, Mbappe and Messi (from left).

After PSG defeated defending defending champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League 2020/21, superstar Neymar announced he would stay and extend his contract with the French team. This move shows the Brazilian has confidence in PSG’s European dominance for many years to come.

But not only Neymar, but Mbappe may also agree to stay in the Prince’s Park if PSG wins the championship. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced that both Neymar and Mbappe would remain in the French capital.

And if his statement comes true, it will cause a massive backlash across Europe. Mbappe is one of the hottest transfer targets in Europe alongside Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Both are pursued by top clubs like Real Madrid, Man United and Man City. If Mbappe signs a new contract with PSG, these teams will have to focus on competing for Haaland.

Then the price of the Norwegian striker will increase much more than the £ 150 million offer price that Dortmund are offering. MU and Man City are likely to not be able to afford it and only Real is able to recruit.

The two Manchester teams will have to turn to Tottenham striker Harry Kane. However, Rooster would not want to sell him to a Premier League opponent. They are currently shouting for Kane up to £ 175 million for clubs outside of England.

One of the football teams mentioned is Barcelona. The Catalan team also pursued both Mbappe and Haaland. But if the other two players have a decision about the future, the Blaugrana can turn to Kane.

Barca needs a new superstar in attack because captain Lionel Messi wants to leave this summer. The Argentine superstar was hoping for a reunion with Neymar and with the Brazilian staying at PSG he could join the French team.
