A Thai woman rests after being vaccinated against Covid-19. The above decision was made at a meeting of Bangkok’s Communicable Diseases Committee on May 31. The commission said the reopening was intended to ease the burden on business by allowing it to operate under strict conditions. The Thai government’s efforts to control the outbreak of Covid-19 in residential communities, markets and worker housing are continuing. Five types of businesses are allowed to reopen in Bangkok from June 1 including: museums, learning centers, science parks, historical sites and art galleries (no group tours). ; tattoo parlors and nail salons (must close for 14 days if any Covid-19 cases are detected); beauty/weight loss clinics and services; spas, massage parlors and wellness-related locations (no saunas or facials); and public parks, botanical gardens and flower gardens (no eating or gathering). Other businesses in Bangkok will remain closed until June 14. On May 31, Thailand recorded a record high of 5,485 new cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections so far to 159,792. The whole country recorded 19 more deaths from Covid-19, bringing the total number of people who did not die from this disease to 1,031. Bangkok continues to lead the list of localities with new cases, with 1,356 cases recorded on May 31. (according to VNA)

Gate to Dong Dau Archaeological Site (Yen Lac – Vinh Phuc). Photo: Tien Dung. Lesson 1: Used to be the largest ancient Vietnamese residence in the Northern Delta Reviewing the historical process, Yen Lac is a land rich in potential for historical relics. In Binh Dinh commune, a relic of Go Gai (also known as Dong Gai) has been found in Coc Lam village, a site of Phung Nguyen culture. In Dong Cuong commune, there is Quan Doi (also known as Quan Doi Dong) at the junior high school area, with vestiges of Phung Nguyen culture. Also in Dong Cuong commune, there is Ma Hon, in Chi Chi village, with vestiges of the Metal Age. Right in Yen Lac town, there is a famous archaeological site of Dong Dau, with vestiges of the culture of Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, and Go Mun. Also in this area was found the site of Go Chua Bien Son with vestiges of the Phung Nguyen culture. In Nguyet Duc commune, there is Dinh Xa site, in Dinh Xa village, Dong Dau cultural site has been discovered. In this commune, there is also a site of Hai Cay bronze with traces of the Metal Age… Archaeologists have initially sketched a panorama of ancient times in this place thanks to excavations, survey and reconnaissance in Yen Lac district and Vinh Phuc province. Panorama of Dong Dau archaeological site (Yen Lac – Vinh Phuc). Photo: Tien Dung. While the district has just formed 5 industrial clusters but has not yet formed an industrial park like other areas in the province, Yen Lac advocates exploiting its strengths in culture, especially historical and cultural relics to preserve , promote, first of all to serve sustainable tourism development in order to break out of the purely agricultural district. On the basis of information provided by leaders of Yen Lac district, at the beginning of the year of Tan Suu (2021), we went to survey Dong Dau archaeological relic which was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural relic by the State. from April 21, 2000. This relic is 1.5 Km east of Yen Lac district center, completely located on a mound about 6 m high compared to the surrounding lowland field, with a total area of 8.5 ha, in Dong village, Yen town. Lost. Since its discovery (in 1962) until now, Dong Dau archaeological relic has been protected, serving for excavations, research, study tours of specialized scientific agencies, scientists and researchers. domestic and foreign scientists and students from local schools. Stone axes and bowls were discovered at Dong Dau archaeological site in 1999. Photo: Vinhphuc.gov.vn/ Dong Dau relic has undergone 7 major exploration and excavation times in the years: 1965-1966, 1967, 1968-1969, 1984, 1987, 1999 and 2012, with a total area of 758m2, concentrated on the southern slopes. East, South, West and the top of the mound with an average thickness of cultural layer over 3m (up to 6m in some places). The 7th excavation was held in December 2012 with the participation of 3 agencies, namely the Department of Archeology, Faculty of History, University of Science and Humanities – Hanoi National University, the Vietnam Archaeological Association and the Department of Archeology. Culture Sports Tourism Vinh Phuc province. Bronze artifacts discovered at Dong Dau archaeological site in 1999. Photo: Vinhphuc.gov.vn Through 7 excavations, many archaeological remains have been discovered with thousands of specimens, tons of pottery pieces of all kinds, extremely rich in materials, types, diverse in types and designs. symbols of 3 cultures: Phung Nguyen – Dong Dau – Go Mun made of stone (axe, chisels, grinding tables, rings, jewelry beads), bronze (ax, file, arrow, hook, javelin) ceramic ( pieces of pots, jars, forks, stringers, ceramic balls and many tools made of bones and horns, animal remains such as pigs, deer, deer, buffalo, cows, dogs, tigers… and quite a few fish bones. At the same time, there are also images of buffaloes, cows, chickens and many animal bones found, for the first time, burnt rice grains have been found, proving that wet rice farming has existed for a long time and plays an important role. important in the life of ancient Vietnamese residents. Dong Dau Go is a precious relic, contributing to affirming in the historical process of the nation spanning about 2 millennia, the ancient Vietnamese people stopped and settled in Dong Dau, creating the Northern Delta. and created the Red River civilization, especially built a brilliant wet rice civilization. Compared to all other archaeological sites (usually with a cultural layer of about 40-50cm), Dong Dau has the thickest cultural layer up to 6m and has a bottom-up evolution over time. Archaeologists have discovered 4 cultural layers of this archaeological site. The bottom (oldest) layer unearthed many stoneware, pottery, horn tools and many animal remains. Notably, in 1999, the Vietnam History Museum in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc conducted the 6th excavation and discovered a burial tomb, still retaining human remains of the Phung Nguyen culture. This excavation, although only 25m2, but also discovered a tomb located at a depth of 3m. Archaeologists have found very clear tomb borders. The tomb is almost intact except for the missing left femur – possibly due to later people digging a hole to hit the grave and also not ruling out the destruction of the termite nest. The reason is unknown, but found evidence that the right fibula was broken but healed. In particular, there is the custom of dyeing the teeth black and the custom of extracting the upper front teeth and the entire lower front teeth. Obviously, this is not a lost tooth, because if it falls out, the arch must leave traces of tooth points. Meanwhile, this skeleton saw that the lower arch of the jaw where it was extracted had healed to form a sharp edge. The ancient human remains found in Dong Dau were dated by radiocarbon dating (C14) method, showing that the earliest class in Dong Dau dates back to 3,500 years ago. In the remaining three cultural layers, more bronze artifacts were discovered. From the discovered archaeological relics, through the research process, up to now, it is possible to recognize the basic Dong Dau archaeological relics: Dong Dau is the largest ancient Vietnamese residence site in the center of the Northern Delta region, the largest distribution area, the thickest cultural layer, containing a huge amount of archaeological artifacts. and rich. Overview of the excavation pit at Dong Dau relic, 1969. The stages of archaeological culture following the continuous progression at the archaeological site of Dong Dau have confirmed very clearly that: The earliest class was from Phung Nguyen, followed by Dong Dau, Go Mun and finally Dong Son. And because of that, from the Dong Dau relic, Vietnamese archaeologists have a scientific basis to determine the criteria for the stages of cultural development in the Red River basin: The earliest humans present here belong to the late stage of Phung Nguyen culture, they have reached the peak of primitive stone processing techniques, polished, beautiful, sophisticated stone jewelry, began to appear. copper metallurgy. Pottery made by turntable, elegant, balanced, beautiful, typical pattern is the project of carving lines, dots, and symmetry. Wet rice farming has developed, many rice grains and rice burned in coal ash have been discovered. Next is the Dong Dau period with typical elements of reduced stone tools, thick pottery, high calcination, decorative patterns with music staff motifs, brushed into projects: letter S, number 8, symmetry ; bones, horns develop; copper casting technique became the dominant factor. The third layer belongs to the Go Mun culture period, the remaining stone items are few, the horn bones are rare, the pottery is rough, the calcination is higher than the previous two stages, mainly the broken mouth, the main decorative pattern. on the mouth. The top layer belongs to the Dong Son culture period, because the surface of the site has been plowed since it has not been discovered, but the discovered relics are scattered in the scope of the site, mainly bronze artifacts: Axes. Xeo, spear, and knife are typical of Dong Son culture. With 4 periods of archaeological culture present on the same site, the development is continuous, representing a stable and long-term settlement process of ancient Vietnamese residents to form the first State of the people. Ethnicity- State of Van Lang in the Hung King era This is the greatest value of the archaeological site of Dong Dau, not only for Vinh Phuc but also for Vietnam and Southeast Asia. These are extremely valuable evidences to learn about the customs, practices and especially the anthropological composition of the ancient Vietnamese in the Red River basin. The discovery of ancient human remains in Dong Dau will contribute to scientific documents that gradually shed light on the issue of “Vietnamese origin” that many scientists are still trying to find and research. From that, it can be affirmed that Dong Dau along with other archaeological vestiges system in Yen Lac and Vinh Phuc province is from Phung Nguyen culture to Dong Son culture, which brought the process of opening the period of Hung Vuong building the country from the mythical age of Vietnam. history but is being forgotten, wasted, not studied, preserved and promoted to serve sustainable socio-economic development.

The active efforts of the Dong Hoa Town Police to ensure the stability of information security and tourism security have contributed to attracting domestic and foreign tourists to visit and enjoy 3 historical sites and national landscapes in the place. This increases every year.
For many years, Dong Hoa town police have always actively coordinated with functional agencies and local authorities to create an attractive, friendly and safe destination for tourists at 3 historical sites and national scenic spots. Da Bia mountain in Dai Lanh mountain range, Vung Ro digital ship historical relic site in Vung Ro bay and Mui Dien national scenic spot, where this is a tourist area to explore spectacular scenery, bold nature associated with unique legends, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

Passing the Ca pass on the trans-Vietnam traffic artery connecting the two provinces of Phu Yen – Khanh Hoa with the majestic landscape by winding roads on the back of the Truong Son mountain range, reaching out to the sea. Looking up at the top of the mountain, visitors can see Da Bia, also known as Thach Bi Son – a national scenic spot located at an altitude of 706m above sea level. There is a giant stone block, 76m high, towering up to the sky. Legend has it that 550 years ago, during the journey to the South, King Le Thanh Tong sent soldiers to engrave letters on Da Bia in the spring of Tan Mao – 1471. When passing the Ca pass in the middle of the 19th century, the Nguyen Dynasty mandarin Phan Thanh Gian looked on. On the stone stele in memory of King Le Thanh Tong, he wrote a poem in Chinese, which was translated: “ The first piece of rock is erected / The floor is lofty in one direction / Splitting the bank with the Han column / Chasing the enemy to stay on the road / The letter of the cloud is lucid / The god uses the mirror / Touching the stele of the person who is gone / The traveler feels pity “. In order to exploit the potential of cultural tourism of the sacred mountain, the road of more than 200 steps to Da Bia, weaving through the forest, has been built since 2000 and has attracted many groups of tourists and sports climbing. Police of Dong Hoa town cooperated with Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station to patrol to ensure security and order at Mui Dien national scenic spot. East of Da Bia is the Mui Dien lighthouse built by the French in 1890 and is one of the two points on the mainland of Vietnam to welcome the earliest dawn. From the top of Ca Pass, looking down is the emerald green Vung Ro bay. During the war, that place used to be the destination of 3 unnumbered trains transporting weapons to the South Central Coast – Central Highlands battlefield, commanded by Captain Ho Dac Thanh and awarded the title Hero of the Armed Forces. People’s page 2011. On the night of February 15, 1965, the fourth unnumbered train commanded by Captain Le Van Them transported 63 tons of weapons to Vung Ro wharf. After unloading all weapons ashore, the ship was about to leave the wharf when there was a technical problem, when the repair was completed, the sky was clear, so it had to spread a net, covering the hull with forest leaves to form a “mountain”. Bai Chua. By chance, enemy aircraft discovered the “mountain” different from the previous aerial photos, so they mobilized planes to shoot rockets and missiles, causing the camouflage leaf to burn, and ship 143 to appear. The local K60 company and the crew on board the unnumbered ship detonated explosives and sank the ship, creating a “historic event in Vung Ro”. In order to proactively ensure security and contribute to socio-economic development, Dong Hoa town police not only strengthen regular police in Hoa Xuan Nam and Hoa Tam communes, but also select and propose to appoint The Chief and Deputy of the Commune Police are dynamic officers who have held positions in professional teams, have a lot of experience and a high sense of responsibility. On the other hand, professional teams of Dong Hoa Town Public Security regularly follow the grassroots area, coordinate with the police of two communes of Hoa Xuan Nam, Hoa Tam and Vung Ro Border Gate Border Guard Station and Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station. , implemented a plan to patrol, protect border security and sovereignty, combined with advising the Party committees and local authorities to firmly build the All people movement to protect national security, so for more than a year this area has not been a felony occurs; Tourists visit and explore national monuments and landscapes to ensure security – safety. Besides, each year, Hoa Xuan Nam Commune Police also coordinate with Vung Ro Border Gate Border Guard Station and other functional agencies to ensure the security and safety of cargo transport and liquefied gas transshipment at Vung Ro port. ; at the same time guiding, inspecting and supporting hundreds of fishing boats of fishermen and dozens of domestic and foreign shipping vessels anchoring to avoid storms; contributing to the safety of road tunnels and Ca Pass railway tunnels on the lifeblood of trans-Vietnam traffic… Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the People’s Committee of Dong Hoa Town shared: “The active efforts of the Dong Hoa Town Police have contributed to the stability of information security and tourism security. attracting domestic and foreign tourists to visit and enjoy 3 historical sites and national scenic spots in this place increasing every year. One more thing worth noting is that local people not only change their thinking about economic development associated with ecotourism services, but also raise awareness of security protection, protection of historical relics and national landscapes. Therefore, the southernmost land of Phu Yen has been moving well, developing the forest-sea economy associated with the tourism economy … “.

However, today Con Dao is a place where the blue sea, smooth white sand, cool air, is attractive not only to domestic tourists but also to foreigners.

About 1 hour flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Con Dao with an area of about 76 km2 includes 16 islands, large and small with a population of nearly 10,000 people. The road to the center of Con Dao district. Photo: Pham Hung The most attractive thing here that makes visitors remember forever about Con Dao is the wonderful marine flora, the only place in Vietnam where sometimes visitors can see sea cows on the list. national survival. Come here, visitors go to Vich Island to see turtles spawn or see monkeys in nature sitting around cliffs and catching crabs and snails on both sides of the road …
The best season to travel to Con Dao is from April to November because at this time the sea is calm, the wind is cool, so visitors can freely visit without any obstacles in the weather. Coming here, visitors will relax with beautiful beaches, pristine bays like Dam Tre Bay, with wild beauty, idyllic to “melt” people’s hearts. Visitors can also explore the mangrove forest, watch swiftlets nest during the breeding season. An indispensable place in the tourist guide of Con Dao is Con Son Bay. The bay consists of a system of 14 different small and large islands, some of which are grouped together like a large family and there are clusters of islands standing in the middle of the sea. The dreamy islands of colorful coral that are more beautiful in the golden sun will make visitors unable to take their eyes off. Or like Lo Voi beach, and An Hai beach located in the Northeast of Con Dao town, Lo Voi beach and An Hai beach are one of the most beautiful beaches located at the two ends of the island.
In Con Dao, visitors need to walk about 10 minutes from the center to the beach. Going further, Dam Trau beach is likened to a very beautiful name “fairy falling asleep”. 14km from the town center and 12km from Co Ong airport, Dam Trau is the ideal destination for picnics, swimming, coral viewing and adventure adventure, exploring remote islands. Tourists get off the high-speed train to visit Con Dao. Photo: Victory In the year 2020 and the first months of 2021, due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic, the number of visitors coming to Con Dao will decrease significantly. But from the end of March to early April the disease was well controlled, tourism was open, and the number of visitors to the island increased again. Especially on these April, many tourists come to Con Dao on this occasion to visit the graves of relatives, or to pay tribute to heroes who have fallen for national independence.
Con Dao prison is a must-visit destination not to be missed when traveling to Con Dao. This is the place where the French colonialists and the American imperialists built with hundreds of cells, cells, and separate rooms to imprison and exile Vietnamese patriots and political prisoners. Especially the famous brutal tiger cage system, which shocked the world when it was discovered. Visitors will not help shiver in hot, stuffy rooms with creepy torture tools. The prison is associated with famous names such as cow stables, tiger cages, lime kilns, salt departments, celestial ghosts … Visitors to Con Dao want to learn about the history of this place must come here to explore the national history through artifacts, images and documents in French displayed here. The special thing here is that from the path, the well, the entrance to the house to the wall are all created by a single material, that is stone. The skillful and talented hands of the people of Loc Yen village have created rock fences, firmly arranged, hundreds of years old without any adhesive. Stone has become a feature, even making up the spirit of the village. Rock banks, long rocky alleys embrace winding roads along the hillside. The large stones, small stones stacked together, are skillful, firm and straight. The stone is chosen to use, helping the soil here avoid being washed away and eroded, not only protecting life but also having unique aesthetic value. Tien Phuoc’s specialty bonbon fruit The winding, mossy rocky shores lead into ancient houses. Currently, Loc Yen still retains 8 old houses dating from 100 to 300 years. These are 3-room, 2-leaned wooden houses with bold old Quang Nam architecture, built by famous artisans of Van Ha village, Tam Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province. Mr. Dong Viet Mao, owner of an old house in Loc Yen village, shared: “The two compartments here are hundreds of years old. It is extremely precious to preserve the old traits of the fathers. I am very happy that nowadays every day visitors come to visit, be introduced to everyone about the architecture of the house and welcome them like family ”. Old apricot tree on the mossy stone shelf in front of his house used to have many people coming … to buy, but he firmly refused. Tourists return to the old village Loc Yen ancient village was put into the song “Tien Phuoc a countryside” by Meritorious Artist Do Linh (Quang Nam Theater Delegation) with the song: “Back to the old village of Loc Yen, listening to the hundred years of time whispered. On each mossy stone steps. And come here, under the old roof, listening to Minh Vien’s soul, fragrant in the fresh wind … “. Minh Vien is the nickname of the famous journalist Huynh Thuc Khang. This village is the place where Mr. Huynh’s navel is buried. The present memorial house for Huynh Thuc Khang (designated a national monument since 1990) is also an old house with over 120 years old in the middle of a cool garden of trees and rocks. During the war years, Loc Yen was the location of the factory of QB 150, considered the first weapon and ammunition factory of Interzone V, greatly contributing to the victory of the army and people in Central Vietnam. 9 years of resistance against France. An old house in Loc Yen The taste of stone village Banyan mossy banks, shady trees create a peaceful, poetic space characteristic of the village in Central Vietnam. Along with the application of folk knowledge from ancient times, the model of clean houses, beautiful alleys and stable economy has been focused on preserving and promoting to create a stable economy for the people here. Combining with tourism development, local people have taken advantage of the unique available products. On the stone steps, the villagers plant special crops of Tien Phuoc countryside such as avocado fruit, tea bar, tangerine, pepper, … for economic development. Speaking of fruit, Tien Phuoc in the past is now a famous place of origin with sweet and fragrant sweetness and aroma, which has become a kind of fruit used to advance to the king since ancient times. As a tree of the humid tropical forest, can not withstand cold, the tree is grown in an average temperature of 27 degrees C so it is very suitable for the climate here. In the song “Tien Phuoc a countryside”, Meritorious Artist Do Linh has listed a series of special fruits here: “Listening to his mother lullabies, young jackfruit is fragrant on the source, so I go back to your hometown. ripe fruit tree. Bonbon, fragrant jackfruit, tea bar, raspberry, grapefruit orange, thanh yen The tea garden has just sprouted, pepper garden, cinnamon fragrant ”. These are fruits that not only bring economic value but also have a “strange” flavor of the mountainous region. Loc Yen ancient village is more and more known by tourists across the country. Visiting the old village is not only to visit and learn but also to let each person feel the fresh air, peaceful and old space, but in the industrial era, urbanization has gradually become rare. As for the people in Loc Yen ancient village, the cultural beauty in daily life and ancient cultural space is like a rope connecting people together, reminding everyone to always remember ancestors and sources. roots. When the harvest is in season, the “Bon” fruit helps villagers earn more income, the price ranges from 20-25 thousand VND / 1kg, depending on the type of cluster or loose fruit. If the season is successful, each tree can be up to a few dozen to nearly 100 kg. In October and November every year, when the fruits are ripe on the branches, visitors are enthusiastically guided, introduced about the beauty of this place, and will experience the feeling of going out to the orchard to pick fruit, to integrate into intimate atmosphere, close. This is also the character of the honest country people. “The people of Loc Yen and Tien Phuoc keep old houses, each row of mossy rocks as preserving something sacred, not just physical value. Tien Phuoc people are dignified, filial, sincere, honest, but also very delicate in their daily behavior. Nguyen Huynh Anh, the owner of a historic old house over 200 years here, has twice rejected an offer to buy a house from the President of the old regime at a high price. People here do not easily bring the legacies of his father, those of human dignity, but bargain more “, Mr. Doan Van Dung, Deputy Chief of the Office of the People’s Council and People’s Committee, said Tien Phuoc district.

Tay Son temple is three masterpieces. (Source: Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) Tay Son district (Binh Dinh) has 20 historical sites scenic spots, including two special national-level monuments and seven scenic spots related to the Tay Son dynasty associated with the hero’s name Quang Trung-Nguyen Hue . Therefore, Tay Son has many potentials for developing historical tourism, scenic spots associated with the culture of the land of heroic martial arts. Binh Dinh has two special national-level monuments located in Tay Son district. It is the Tay Son temple of the three masterpieces and the Duong Long tower. Duong Long tower bears a strong mark on the sophisticated architecture of the Cham Pa culture while the Tay Son temple in Tam master has many historical and cultural values of a heroic dynasty of the Vietnamese people. According to Mr. Dang Bao Toan, Head of Culture and Information Department Tay Son district , two special national-level monuments have great potential for the district to develop tourism in the direction of historical and cultural relics. “From these two monuments, we will create a highlight to build, connect into tours, chain tours in the area,” said Toan. However, at present, the promotion, calling for investment, attracting economic sectors inside and outside Tay Son district to participate in investment in tourism development is limited. The connection of routes, tours with travel businesses is not much. Mr. Toan said that Tay Son souvenir products are still monotonous, not specific. The locality has not yet formed concentrated tourist, trade and service areas. Meanwhile, the number of tourists staying in the district is low. Infrastructure for tourism development has not met the requirements. In addition to the two special national-level monuments, Tay Son also has many scenic spots to develop many types of tourism. Ham Ho scenic for example is the origin of a tributary of the Kon river with majestic mountains. Ham Ho scenic spot currently has a unit in investment and development of tourism. By taking full advantage of the natural advantages and knowing how to create a new highlight, this place has attracted thousands of tourists every day. Ms. Lu Thi Anh Thu, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: “The scene in Ham Ho tourist area retains pristine natural values, with rivers and forests. The move to visit the resort by boat through streams has made me feel quite new and attractive. ” Ham Ho still has great potential to organize impressive tours. Mr. Phan Thanh Nhien, coach in the field of adventure sports from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, said: “I have some ideas for this area to attract and experience more. It is a zipline slide system to admire the stream from above and create a sense of excitement for visitors. ” Besides, Tay Son also has many cultural values that can be built into typical tourism products of the locality. These are traditional martial arts performances, Tay Son drums, Dong Da festival. In the direction of developing tourism to become a key economic sector, Tay Son district has proposed solutions to further embellish historical relic values in the area. At the same time, the district prioritizes the investment in the construction of traffic infrastructure to connect the special national-level historical sites with other historical, cultural and scenic spots in the area. Mr. Phan Chi Hung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Son district, said that in addition to building infrastructure and calling on investors, the district focuses on developing a variety of souvenir products so that when visitors come to visit, Tourists will have souvenirs and always remember this masterpiece place./.

Few people know that Chi Hoa prison is the only project in District 10 that is recognized as a historic work in the inventory of historical, cultural, and scenic relics in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City police are moving the headquarters of the detention center (Chi Hoa prison) to the new detention center in Cu Chi district. Chi Hoa Detention Center exists in Ward 12, District 10 (Ho Chi Minh City), today is also known as Chi Hoa prison or many people called Chi Hoa prison, Bat Fuck prison. Chi Hoa prison is one of 28 structures, locations and the only one in District 10 of its historical type. Inventory checklist of historical – literary h oh yeah and scenic spots in the area of Ho Chi Minh City in the period 2016-2020 (issued according to Decision No. 923 / QD-UBND dated March 7, 2017 of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City). Therefore, “the treatment of works on the relic inventory will be like treatment of relics that have been ranked” – Mr. Hoang Nghi, Head of Cultural Heritage Management Division, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Information, said. Chi Hoa prison viewed from above. Photo: WIKIPEDIA After the detention center of the Ho Chi Minh City Police has moved to Cu Chi district, what will be the fate of Chi Hoa prison remains an open question. However, those who are interested in the fate of Ho Chi Minh City’s architectural, cultural and historical works will not want this work to be lost, but hope it will be in a planning direction with respect. important to the past and continue to develop with green space, good infrastructure … “Living like a great apartment building” According to records from Inventory checklist of historical – literary h oh yeah and scenic spots in the area of Ho Chi Minh City in the period 2016-2020 , Chi Hoa prison used to detain communist soldiers, students, intellectuals … fighting for the unification of the country through two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism. According to the Assfir a Culture Releases HCMC (Episode III – Art), “Xam Chi Hoa was built by the Japanese in 1943 to help the French build. The building is as high as a multi-storey building, surrounded by a concrete wall, on an octagonal surface, Opened the courtyard divided into cells by each cell area, with the corridor running around, solid bars. The prison can hold between 2,000 and 7,000 prisoners, serving as a grand apartment building. The building has no aesthetic value, but please note it here for another type of administrative architecture ”. According to the book Portraits of death row inmates , in the period from 1858 to 1975, Volume I: Some communist soldiers were sentenced to death, imprisoned through many prisons … including examination of Chí Hòa. In particular, in addition to the politics of offenders about to execute death sentences, this is the place to detain politicians with a sentence of 15 years to life in prison before exile to Con Dao. In the book Prison days , author Han Song Thanh and The History of Southern Women, edited the Chi Hoa examination and the events here: “Until 1950, Chi Hoa examination was completed. Starting from there, the French colonialists abandoned Catina examination. All the prisoners in Catina were transferred to Chi Hoa… The 1st floor has four rooms to hold political women offenders… ”. Chi Hoa’s search was the place where Nguyen Van Troi was imprisoned and executed in 1964. At the time of Nguyen Van Troi’s detention, this prison was called Chi Hoa Police Department. Entrance to Chi Hoa detention center. Photo: PV Connecting green space Chi H burst out – Ky H burst out Chi Hoa prison is currently a publicly owned project, but with a special mark of the work on history, architecture, culture, architect Ngo Viet Nam Son said: “If you change the prison to another area You should use Chi Hoa prison as a public facility to benefit the people ”. According to architect Ngo Viet Nam Son: “In terms of architectural value, this work is quite special because of the prison architecture, but it is a special architectural form from the French period with materials and construction bearing marks. press history. The layout of the prison is said to follow the octagon pattern, with feng-shui elements … this needs to be studied again; but it must be confirmed that this is a special project with its own special characteristics. Such a form may not be a relic but is a part of the development of urban architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. So it might not be about preserving the status quo, but embellished, changing the purpose of use, maybe a museum or something like we have Con Dao prison. As far as the prison Alcatraz on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco has been turned into a tourist island where the prison is a tourist attraction ”. Japan turns the oldest prison into a hotel Nara Prison (Nara Prefecture, Japan) is Japan’s oldest prison, built during the Meiji period (1901) and opened from 1909 until 2017. Since closing, no longer function of prison, Nara prison is recognized as a historical heritage of Japan. And after being recognized the heritage, the prison is being converted into a hotel to develop tourism in Nara Prefecture while still retaining this architectural complex. Because from 2018 up to now, Japan is focusing on preserving and developing many architectural, cultural and historical works of the Meiji period and turning it into new destinations. The five red brick buildings with Roman architecture of the Nara prison will be renovated into a high-class hotel that is earthquake resistant and is expected to open this year. The investment fund to renovate the prison into a hotel is expected to be worth 15 billion yen (more than 3,100 billion dong). In addition, Chi Hoa prison is one of the rare places in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City that still has space to add more green space to the inner city. “Since before 1975, stretching from Chi Hoa to Ky Hoa was a large, continuous green space. Although some spaces are currently encroached upon, we can still renovate this space into a suitable public center for everyone in the direction of green development, reducing the use of personal vehicles in the center … Along with that , in addition to cultural and architectural factors, it is also necessary to recognize the intangible value of Chi Hoa prison, considering which in history there are any characters who have been detained here, it is a partial recognition history of Ho Chi Minh City ”- architect Ngo Viet Nam Son said.

Illustration. Under the new Rome tourism law, sitting on the famous Spanish Steps would be illegal. The reason is that the newly renovated ladder is a historical relic with centuries dating rather than seating. Similarly, for the other historic stairs in the city, you can go up and down but if you sit it will inconvenience others or you may be fined. It is also illegal to knock suitcases with wheels and push children down old steps because it can destroy stone steps. While these rules may sound stricter, the protection of the ancient wonders of Rome is essential. Do not wear high heels in Athens, Greece In Greece, it is illegal to wear high heels when you visit ancient monuments such as the Parthenon and the Acropolis or any other historical site of stone and marble. The reason is that high heels will destroy these stone steps. In addition, when you have to walk a lot, high heels are also quite inconvenient, visitors should use more suitable shoes. Do not dip feet, swim in the canals of Venice You are never allowed to swim or even dip your feet in Venice’s canals and lagoons because it is against the law. Also, you should know that these places are not really clean for diving. Instead, you should go to Lido Island with beautiful sand beaches, clear water and spoiled for diving. The fountain is not a cooling place Forget what you saw on the film, you will be in trouble or possibly fined if you try to splash water at Rome’s Trevi fountain to cool off or at any fountains in Italy. Instead, head to the stunning beaches of Cinque Terre or the Amalfi Coast to cool off in summer. Do not swim in Blue Grotto cave, Italy When traveling Italy, if you see a sign that prohibits swimming, strictly obey. Swimming is also prohibited at the Blue Grotto cave (Capri island, southern Italy), which is famous for its unique glowing blue water. The typical case of being punished for swimming in this cave are supermodel Heidi Klum couple and musician Tom Kaulitz. In 2019, they were fined over $ 6,000 for jumping into the water. Do not eat or drink while visiting historical sites One Italian law can confuse visitors: It is illegal to eat spoiled foods in historic landmarks like Rome, Florence and Venice. You can be in the park or while walking in the street. But you can get a fine (even get kicked out of the city center), if you eat pizza on a historic square or drop ice cream while visiting the Colosseum. for brewing coffee on the famous Rialto Bridge.
Tourists experience in Ta Lao stream, Ta Long commune, Da Krong mountainous district (Quang Tri). Quang Tri is a locality with many beautiful historical, cultural and scenic relics. This is an advantage for the province to promote tourism development. The mountainous and forested areas in the west of Quang Tri province also have new, strange and pristine destinations such as Ta Lao stream, Ham Nghi temple, Ta Puong waterfall … are attracting tourists to visit and experience. As a result, it contributes to creating jobs and raising incomes for ethnic minorities in remote and isolated areas in the province. Having the opportunity to bring a friend in Hanoi to western Quang Tri to visit the old battlefield, after offering incense at historic sites, we had the opportunity to experience the Ta Lao stream tourist destination in Ta Long commune, district. Dakrong mountains. The gentle and unspoiled Ta Lao stream appears in the midst of a thousand Truong Son. The founder of this experiential tour is Ms. Ho Thi Thuong, an ethnic Bru – Van Kieu. In 2019, the Women’s Union of Quang Tri province will hold a contest to learn start-up ideas. Ms. Thuong wrote the contest with all her aspirations about the idea of building the land where she was born and raised to become a new experience destination of Quang Tri tourism. Her exam was like a community tourism development project at Ta Lao stream and won the high prize. Ms. Thuong was determined to make the paper-based contest a reality. And then an attractive Ta Lao stream experience tour was born with the price of only 199,000 VND. Visitors can take a bath in the stream; experience of catching fish and crabs with traditional local tools and then processing them right by the stream or wearing ethnic costumes to “transform” into a girl, a guy from Bru – Van Kieu. At the same time, you can also visit stilt houses, learn about the culture of the Bru – Van Kieu people. In addition, located in the middle of the old war zone in the Cua region of Cam Lo district, there is a new destination to the temple of King Ham Nghi at the relic of Tan So citadel (Mai Dan village, Cam Chinh commune) brought in by Quang Tri Trade Corporation. exploited to educate young people to understand more about the patriotic king at the end of the 19th century. In 1885, Tan So citadel was the place where King Ham Nghi issued Can Vuong to call for pride, his wife and people throughout the country stood up to help the king. against the French invasion. Along with this tour, visitors can also visit the famous Turtle farm with biotechnology and enjoy dishes from Turtle chicken, an old chicken used to the king. Recently, a new tourist destination in Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district is attracting a lot of tourists called Five Seasons Bungalows. Mr. Tran Huu Hoang Thong, the owner of this new destination, said: “Huong Phung commune has a distinct four seasons climate, the ethnic minorities living here are very peaceful and friendly. Initially, I built a small house in Xa Ry village for weekend vacation. Friends visiting the house, everyone was overwhelmed by the majestic, wild and mysterious beauty of mountains and forests ”. Recalling the idea of building a home tourism model, Mr. Thong builds three more houses to welcome guests. Although each house has a small area, the architecture is simple but clean, fully equipped. Staying with the five bungalows, in the morning waking up in the middle of the mountains, everyone has a relaxing feeling. Coming here, visitors will experience the pure space of Truong Son mountains and forests, enjoy the delicacies of the local people and explore the green coffee fields … Many tourists have only known Quang Tri through familiar relics such as Vinh Moc tunnels, Hien Luong bridge – Ben Hai river, Quang Tri ancient citadel … Now, in the west of Quang Tri there are many new and strange destinations. , bring wild beauty. If you want to learn about prehistoric times, go to Brai cave in Huong Lap commune, Huong Hoa district. From Se Bang Hieng bridge in Huong Lap commune, go along the riverbank for about 20 minutes to reach the mouth of the cave. The cave has many beautiful shapes, suitable for groups of visitors, adventure tourists and discoveries. Another attractive destination is the Ta Puong waterfall in Huong Viet commune, Huong Hoa district. The waterfall is about 15 meters high, with many deep water, wide stream bed forming an ideal bathing place for visitors. Along with that is a unique Ba Faucet waterfall that few places have. In addition, in Huong Hoa district, there is Chenh Vnh waterfall right at the foot of Sa Mu pass, located in Huong Phung commune. The waterfall falls from a height of about 20 m over the mountainside. Under the sun, the waterfall is like a picture of shimmering and fanciful crystal colors. The area for tourism development in the west of Quang Tri province is still very large with the ecosystems in the two mountainous districts of Dakrong and Huong Hoa, with outstanding types of nature, adventure, prehistoric exploration in caves and deep forests. … is the distinct advantage of Quang Tri compared to other provinces in the region. However, the first “bottleneck” that needs to be removed to develop tourism potential is human thinking and investment capital. Currently, the investment and exploitation of tourism in this area is not commensurate with the potentiality to bring efficiency to the local socio-economic development. Recently, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Nam and the delegation surveyed a number of tourist destinations in the mountainous districts of Huong Hoa and Dakrong to explore new destinations in the western region to start stimulating demand. Domestic tourism. This is an urgent solution to revitalize tourism during the time affected by the Covid-19 epidemic and a golden opportunity for domestic tourists to explore many new, safe, unique and unknown destinations in the province. Comrade Hoang Nam said that in order to make good use of these landscapes, first of all, it is necessary to have the initial investment of the province, to turn these places into tourist destinations, especially the planning of tourist destinations. specifically. At the same time, it is recommended that relevant departments and branches set up two investment projects to build roads to the two tourist destinations and parking lots for Baot and Ta Puong waterfall, continue to promote communication and promote tourism at the locations. This new arrival is most effective. Tourism is identified as a key economic sector in the coming years of the province, so it should be paid attention and focused on investing methodically to efficiently exploit rich and unique tourism resources. Quang Tri owns.

He also emphasized the need to continue to mobilize all efforts in the next three years to meet the government’s target of restoring this over 800-year-old symbol of France within 5 years.
President Macron made the above statement when visiting the Notre-Dame Cathedral exactly two years after the fire at this historic site. The French leader assessed that the restoration of the church had achieved great progress.

Jean-Louis Georgelin, who was chosen by President Macron to direct the restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral, said although the church will be reopened for devotees to pray in April 2024. but there is still a need to continue restoration work thereafter. This reconstruction effort received financial support of approximately 833 million euros (991 million USD) through donation campaigns in France and around the world.

Regarding the investigation of the cause of the fire, investigators have found several weaknesses in the safety system, especially in the alarm system and in the electrical system of a church lift. .

The fire at Notre Dame on April 15, 2019 lasted for up to 15 hours, collapsed the tower and burned a part of the roof of this historic site. President Macron has pledged to rebuild the church within five years, meaning it will open its doors to visitors when Paris is the host city of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

For nearly 9 centuries, Notre Dame Cathedral has been standing in the middle of the Ile de la Cite island on the romantic Seine river, witnessing the ups and downs of French history, becoming an endless inspiration for poetry and music. illustrates and welcomes millions of visitors each year.
