While in Vietnam banana leaves are sold at a relatively cheap price, even being thrown away, in Korea a set of 9 trays of banana leaves costs up to more than 500,000 VND.
Green lifestyle is becoming the trend of the times, widely accepted by the community, so products made from natural materials are also strongly welcomed by many markets. Not only are these products friendly to the environment, these products also help add value to materials that are considered waste such as bagasse, water hyacinth, straw or banana leaves.

Recently, the image of a rather expensive product line made from banana leaves produced by Appree (Korea) company continues to surprise Vietnamese netizens. This product is called “banana leaf tray” (roughly translated: Banana leaf tray), the price ranges from 3.15 USD to 4.95 USD. Specifically, the product line has 3 sizes depending on usage needs: Small round tray with retail price from 3.15 USD (72,000 VND)/piece, large round tray from 4.95 USD (113,000 VND)/piece, Long trays cost from 4.55 USD (104,000 VND)/piece. Alternatively, you can buy as a set. Set of 3 long banana leaf trays costs $9, a set of three large round trays costs $10, a set of three small round trays costs $5 and a set of nine assorted trays costs $25, equivalent to more than VND570,000. These trays can be used to store food, cosmetics, accessories, and stationery. The manufacturer wants users to be closer to nature through easily accessible items in daily life. Instead of using plastic or stainless steel boxes, we can completely use banana leaves to create very pretty decorative trays. Moreover, banana leaves are organic waste that is easy to decompose, so it does not affect the environment like when using plastic. However, some people wonder how these banana leaf trays can be preserved? Is it easy to tear, mold, and wilt like normal banana leaves? Minh Hoa (th)

The placement of suitable flower pots and ornamental plants in the house not only creates a beautiful, pleasant and comfortable living space but also improves the luck for family members.
However, according to feng shui, not all plants and flowers are suitable for display or growing indoors. Feng shui Fengjia warns, especially to pay attention to the following 5 types of plants and flowers that should not be planted in the house to avoid affecting the health and fortune of your family.

Cactus: Not to be placed in the living room The living room is not suitable for placing cactus, aloe, pine trees. Because these plants carry “killing gas”. If planting these plants in the living room will directly affect the feelings between family members, causing quarrels, unable to live in harmony. The living room should be placed with talented flowers such as rich bamboo, noble orchid, red candle scene pineapple. These trees represent auspicious wishes. Not only brings good luck, but also creates a very special aesthetic. Tulips: Do not put in the office The office is a place where we learn and create, it is necessary to create a quiet and comfortable atmosphere for this space. But tulips have toxic alkaline substances, if accidentally touched, it will easily cause hair and hair loss. Therefore, tulips should not be placed in the office. In addition, tulips also break the feng shui of the office, making the homeowner’s career path in trouble. The office corner is suitable for placing daffodils. This flower has the effect of avoiding evil, eliminating uncleanness, implying auspicious intentions and talent. In addition, orchids symbolize elegance and grace, and are also suitable for placing in the book room. In addition, to activate feng shui wealth and prosperity, promote the fortune and career of the owner, homeowners can place here Van Xuong Tower. Ylang-Ylang: Do not put in the bedroom Feng shui indicates that it is not appropriate to place hyacinths as well as plants that give off a scent in the evening. This plant will produce strong tactile stimulants, extremely dangerous for people with high blood pressure and heart disease. Similarly, plants that smell like conifers should not be placed in the bedroom, because they give off an oily scent, making people feel nauseous. Placing these plants in the room for a long time not only affects human health, but also leads to bad luck. Plants with long pointed leaves, trees with yin properties Do not choose yin plants such as those belonging to the family of decisions, because if they live well, it means that your house has yin and is not clean. In addition, plants with long pointed leaves should not be planted in the house because the feng shui meaning is not good, it is easy to make the homeowner entangled in disputes, quarrels, and life is not peaceful. Withered flowers: Must be thrown away The house needs vitality, freshness, and joy, but withered plants only bring lack of life, boredom, and sadness to the people living there. No matter how beautiful or precious the tree is, everyone should not hesitate to keep it in the house because in the end, it only takes effort to take care of, bring bad luck, but the tree is not necessarily alive. To avoid this, you need to spend time taking care of the plants, watering regularly. If you see them showing signs of wilting, immediately remove them. * Information in the article is for reference only!

Then I gradually got used to the smell (taste) of Saigon (tired, lack, hunger, despair, hope, joy, sadness…) after having seven years of studying and working here.
Saigon, roaming nostalgia are the discoveries of author Dao Thi Thanh Tuyen about Ho Chi Minh City – her second hometown. It is also the sentiment and attachment of the author to this city and the regions that she has passed through, with quiet and affectionate things.

[…] When I first came to Saigon in the summer of 1972, my father let me go by plane. Perhaps, it was an unforgettable experience with the eagerness of a 13-year-old boy to go out for the first time in his life by such modern means, to a famous and magnificent city known only through books, television or songs; in other words, is somewhere too splendid, luxurious only in dreams.. The father and son went into the house of a relative whom my father called aunt. I remember, the old woman was about 70 years old, her hair was white, and her hair was in a neat bun. A small house in an alley on Yen Do Street (now Ly Chinh Thang), fell in love a few sections. There was a smell behind the house that I couldn’t describe what it was, years later I kept calling it “the smell of Saigon”, rising from the water below (visible through the cracks in the wooden floor). I just wanted to be taken to the street by my father, somewhere to escape this dark smell. However, that family was large and my father had to sit down and talk to them so many things that I could only wander in front of the house looking at the restaurants in the alley, not daring to step out behind, just afraid of encountering the horrible smell. that great. Then I gradually got used to the smell (taste) of Saigon (tired, lack, hunger, despair, hope, joy, sadness…) after having seven years of studying and working here. In the evenings when I go to teach about cycling uphill to Kieu Bridge, I think, sometimes it is the color and smell of canal water that makes it hard for people to forget Saigon. Many years later, when I returned to Nha Trang to work, I still had business trips to Saigon only to realize, if I had a vacation to go somewhere, the first place I would choose was still Saigon. Until the kids went to school here, my trips became more frequent. Saigon book, nostalgia roaming. Photo: ChiBooks. Ever since the discovery of a Saigon scented with porcelain flowers, sweet with the scent of the wall, I turned back the route of walking, did not go to Gia Dinh park but changed direction to the embankment. I can turn any way from Phan Xich Long. Sometimes I wander in small alleys, through spontaneous markets serving small villages that have been associated with the (probably) eternal morning rhythm, from the butcher to the vegetable shop. The alleys of Saigon are not much different from when I was 13 years old until now, more than 50 years. Still the greeting with a slightly southern accent, such innocent and resigned female figures. And even though intentionally… lost my way, I still reached the embankment. The sun was just rising, a sharp, round pink slowly emerged behind the tall buildings. The wind caresses. Some people walk, people swing on gym equipment, people sit on stone benches… The road around the embankment is very empty in the morning, making me see how spacious Saigon is. Passing a garbage collection station, I stopped and observed the daily work of the workers of the urban environment company. The crane from above picks up the trash cans to the canoes parked below. There are two workers to pick up and stow. The canoe started to back up when there were enough barrels and stopped a dense group of water hyacinths, each with a club, pulling the water hyacinth up and putting it in the box. The other canoes continued to run in different directions. I had mornings walking to the embankment, enjoying the fresh air, completely cool and no longer had the “smell of Saigon” of the age of 13. In the free evening, I invited my children to drive to the embankment and watch. The apartment block is printed on the black sky, there are small bright squares, colorful lights, as beautiful as a picture. When looking at the lonely moon, how vast is the sky! When I go to work, before going home, I run around the section of Kieu Bridge – Hoang Hoa Tham Bridge – Tran Khanh Du Bridge to see a row of high-rise buildings “lighting” behind the colorful periwinkle flowers, rows of green ornamental areca trees. , rows of white and red porcelain trees, rows of thin-walled micro-wings, purple mausoleums, yellow scallops… and turned the car around when it hit the roadblock at the construction site. Just remember, all these years in and out of Saigon, I’ve never driven along the Nhieu Loc canal, but heard it’s just over eight kilometers. I asked my son, the middle generation 9X, in the old summers when my mother let me go to Saigon to play, did I ever smell the bad smell of this channel. My child answered no. For a moment, life is long, then you will taste the “smell” of Saigon, the smell of life, but completely no longer have the Saigon smell of when I was 13… Tell your children, when you are tired, try to ignore all the troubles, hustles, fights, and hustles out there and think of Saigon’s porcelain-scented moon seasons like this one to forget and recharge. next step!

‘The blind branch of the yellow butterfly doesn’t land / The song from my childhood lulls me / The country river, the village school, the boat on the sand / It’s also because I’m far away that I miss the heart…’ The author of ‘Country River’ today was 79 years old. He is living in his hometown of Quang Nam after a dusty life. Dinh Tram Ca stopped composing about 20 years ago. Is it possible that, to him, poetry and music are just… frivolous?

Dinh Tram Ca was famous before 1975 with the song “Ruling the old love”: “In the past three years, I have become a young woman/Sit down to lull me to forget my sad fate…”. “Ru concubine old love” was composed by Dinh Tram Ca in 1967, but it was not until 3 years later, 1970, that the new song was popularized through Le Thu’s singing. This is also considered the debut composition of Dinh Tram Ca. The author of “Ru concubine’s ex” was born with the name Mac Phu: “I don’t know what the meaning of this name is, my father gave it to me”, Dinh Tram Ca said. The stage name “Dinh Tram Ca” was given by him, “Ding” is his mother’s last name, but he changed “i” to “y” so that “the paternal side doesn’t think of me as matriarchal”, he explained. And “Tram Ca” is just “taking and playing”. Musician and poet from Quang was born in a rather special family: “My parents are illiterate. He only knew a little bit of Chinese characters, insignificant, not of any kind of literature. My mother is illiterate, but she knows how to sing and can set the lyrics herself, in the past it was called ant at singing (composed on the spot). My father sings well too.” Maybe because of her mother’s “gene” influence, Dinh Tram Ca did not struggle to compose. Like the song “Flying away the drizzle” that many people think he popularizes other people’s poetry. But not: “I am a few years younger than Mr. Pham Cong Thien. At that time, Pham Cong Thien was brilliant in the South. I also adore him. I see him writing an essay or something called “Flying away the drizzle”. I like the title, very strange, very cute. When I read the title, I immediately sang the chorus,” recalled Dinh Tram Ca. However, after completing the chorus, he left it because he didn’t know what to write it for? On the day of liberation, Dinh Tram Ca completed “Flying away the drizzling rain”: “Fly away, fly away the drops on the souls of the people who always remember / A sad past / About wandering in the middle of the drizzle / A past with rain is our tears / Let’s fly away the rain dust on the lonely soul…”. Wandering around the East and West, making a living by all kinds of occupations Dinh Tram Ca used to work as a farmer for 6 years. Called being a “farmer” for luxury, he actually had to sing human excrement: “I have to escape my hometown. There, I couldn’t stand it, people were all sore. But escaping to the South is not easy. At that time, it was difficult to buy a bus ticket, it was impossible to go without a referral. But I have a grandson who makes fake tickets,” the musician recounts the painful memory. Arriving in the capital, Dinh Tram Ca had only a little change left: “I’m at the bus station, working as a porter, I don’t know how many more years. Then I left again, every time I heard someone I knew somewhere, I went to look for them to save me…”. Just like that, Dinh Tram Ca drifted from the East to the West, earning a living by all kinds of hard jobs. More than 20 years have passed! After that, Dinh Tram Ca returned to Ho Chi Minh City and gave birth to “Country River”. “There is a river flowing in my memory / My village is on the side of the landslide, your village is on the flood side…”. Many people are curious where is the “river flowing in memory” where is Dinh Tram Ca? Please don’t go looking. “I wrote ‘Country River’ just in the morning. This song is not composed, but the Southern sound is already available”, Dinh Tram Ca said about the “spiritual child” loved by many people. “Countryside River” was not born by a sudden inspiration but a form of writing on demand: “A person who knew my name before 75, during a drink or coffee, he asked me to be the editor. practice for him, compose a program for him. Because he has a nephew abroad who wants to make a music video. I just asked: How do you have money? He replied: Yes. So I nodded, being “hungry”. Next, I asked him, what kind of music would you like to choose, he wanted to make the theme of his homeland, the Southern sound. I chose some other people’s songs into a program called “Country River” and started writing the theme song”, Dinh Tram Ca shared the circumstances of the song’s birth. The author of “Country River” has many compositions for himself, but there are also many songs written on demand, like “River of the countryside”. Life in a rice bra sometimes becomes an excuse for composing. One of the famous bolero songs “Back to the sim hill”, was born like that: “I write to make money. At that time, the bolero was in vogue. The labels needed the song, so I wrote “Back to the sim hill”. I asked: “Going back to sim hill” will bring you big royalties? Dinh Tram Ca laughed: “It’s not that high, I also wrote 5, 10 dong”. Even “Ru the old love” did not bring Dinh Tram Ca significant revenue. It is said that Lam Phuong can buy a villa in Saigon with “Sad City”, mentioning that to Dinh Tram Ca, he laughed: “They are seniors. Professional composers in Saigon. As for me in a small town, I’m a country boy in the countryside. I’m not a pro, just a player.” By the way, Dinh Tram Ca also corrected that he was not a literature teacher: “Although many people call me teacher. I do teach but teach people. Then he was invited by the school to teach for a few years. I didn’t graduate from pedagogy to teach, so I don’t recognize myself as a teacher.” So, who is Dinh Tram Ca, I asked. “Until now I don’t know who I am,” he replied. And he read me a poem he wrote when he was 20 years old, “Portrait of me”, ending with two sentences: “Sorrow dangling from my back/O strange beast that was never me”. I don’t know if the poetry was absorbed into Dinh Tram Ca’s life or the arduous life made Dinh Tram Ca’s poetry and music heavy? The song I like, the audience doesn’t know It is often said: Dinh Tram Ca is a student of the author of the first Vietnamese bolero song. Dinh Tram Ca confirmed: He studied with the author “Sunshine” for more than 2 years, less than 3 years. However, musician Le Trong Nguyen’s impression was not deep on Dinh Tram Ca’s musical journey: “When I went to high school, I studied with him. Of course, every teacher favors gifted students. I studied music theory, notation with him, in general it was not significant. Who really taught music to Dinh Tram Ca? “My younger friends taught me music,” he said. At that time, there were very artistic families. Sisters and brothers know the piano. Since I was a child, I have loved the piano. Seeing my friends playing, I asked them to teach me. I played the mandolin, because it was difficult to find a guitar back then.” When he was a child, Dinh Tram sang very well, so young artists often asked Dinh Tram to sing for them to play. The musician revealed: “Those young people are excellent players.” Dinh Tram Ca used to hold the “head” of the school’s arts department, so many girls fell in love. Being the head of the art department is very “cool”: “If I let anyone sing, I can sing. I said the string broke and the principal had to buy it for me. I practiced singing, he gave me money to eat and drink,” remembers the old days Dinh Tram Ca was happy and excited. musician Dinh Tram Ca If “Ru con con of an old love” was a famous song by Dinh Tram Ca before 75, then the poetry collection “Night Eyes”, published in 69 by Dinh Tram Ca was highly appreciated at that time. Are you more predisposed to poetry or to music? I asked Dinh Tram Ca. He immediately refused: “No, I do not claim to be a poet. I also don’t claim to be a musician. They call it that, I don’t argue.” The two songs that are loved by the audience, “Ru con con of old love”, “Song of the countryside” are not the two favorite songs of their father. “The song I like, the audience won’t know, because it’s not popular,” he said. Dinh Tram Ca’s musical fortune is not huge, according to the author, only about a hundred songs: “By the year 75, my manuscripts and prints were completely confiscated. I don’t bother to write again.” Is there a song you want to find again now? I asked again. The musician replied, “No. No need either. It’s fine to write it out curiously, but why write it down?”, he laughed. In 2000, Dinh Tram Ca stopped composing in both music and poetry: “Because health is just one thing”, he mused. Poetry and music used to be “lovers” that made Dinh Tram Ca passionate, but one day he “cut off” both. Is it because of financial problems, both “lovers” do not help him live well? “Those things should not be said, people will say that they are arrogant or guilty,” he did not want to dig into the reasons why he stopped composing. Referring to Dinh Tram Ca’s poetry, it is impossible not to mention “Phuong Nam’s drifting song of the hyacinth cluster”. This is also the “song” Dinh Tram Ca is very pleased with: “Going / As if drifting / We go to the South / To the side of the Gypsy swallows calling for spring to chirping / Towards the fast flowing alluvial red rivers / We meet more clusters of water hyacinth / Drift / Drift / Drift / And drift… / We are gradually moving away from the old wharf / For decades, the wind remembers blowing the sky / Still want to bring joy to the mother river / Even though we can only bloom pale purple flowers” . Many people think that the verse: “I, the water hyacinth both float and bloom”, is the verse the author wants to talk about his floating life. But, that’s a misinterpretation: “That sentence is a bit arrogant, so it won’t hurt. In the past, I wrote: “My life is like a moss of sin”, in “Ru the old love”. The moss is submerged under the water. The water hyacinth floats on top, riding the waves, riding the wind proudly,” explained Dinh Tram Ca. Dinh Tram Ca’s health has been declining for the past 5, 6 years. The person who “walks like a drift” now can only hang around the house, eyes can no longer see… The most comforting thing for Dinh Tram Ca is that he has a family with members who love each other wholeheartedly. Dinh Tram Ca’s wife is Ma Thu Giang, named in some of his songs, such as “Back to Sim Hill”. Perhaps this is Dinh Tram Ca’s way of expressing his love and admiration for the woman who spends her life for her husband and children: “My wife is in the countryside. Her hometown was in Hau Giang and now it’s Soc Trang.” The author of “Country River” has two children, a boy and a girl. Dinh Tram Ca’s son also loves poetry and music, and is a student of musician Tuan Khanh “Repaying the debt of love from afar”. Quantity has no meaning in composition Compared to music, Dinh Tram Ca’s poetic heritage is more abundant. But for him, quantity has no meaning in composing: “You write poetry without a verse, a poem for people to memorize is thrown away. Making music without a song for people to sing is thrown away. ‘, the author’s point of view. In addition to poetry and music, Dinh Tram Ca also paints paintings. Did heaven favor him so much that his life must be miserable? Dinh Tram Ca denied: “I don’t dare. Until now. Now I know that I can’t do anything. This life is not mine.” What does Dinh Tram Ca want at the end of his life? “I don’t want anything,” he replied. , I just wish the “drizzle” would fly away in him like the lyrics he wrote: “Fly away the drizzle/Fly away the sorrows…”. Dinh Tram Ca’s family and singer Le Thu

The vast Vam Nao stream is billowing with an underground, silent but powerful vitality. It seems to be telling the world a long story about the companionship of the human heart and creation. The riverbanks are alive again, happy again, rich again from the sweet and sincere spread.
I said the river bank of Mr. Ut has a lot of white pompano.

I envisioned sharp teeth surpassing their fellow humans to survive beyond necessity. Is the charity food that raises the white pomfret school indirectly, which further impoverishes the riverbanks? The river wharfs have been poor for decades. No, Kowloon is completely exhausted. The schools of fish are poor because of the vast rice fields and need to kill the yellow apple snails. The poisoned water flows from the field to where fish, crabs, eels, and squirrels go there. The electric circus pulses with a radius of two or three dozen meters kill fish eggs. The sweet and flowing Mekong River is about to become a river of death. Life suddenly returned because somewhere, Nam Dang, Nam Cuong, and Huu Tam from all over An Giang’s canals kept happy riverbanks for schools of natural fish. They piled up scrubs to build houses for fish, spent money to buy food, spent time watching the fish in front of the electric pulse hoses that were constantly scurrying around. The schools of human-friendly natural fish grow, spread out to every meter of water along the spiritual land. One day I heard that Vam Nao’s aggressive wharf had also stopped a new school of fish. But the information about the white pompano made me extremely embarrassed. Is humanity regardless of benefits? The owner of the river wharf has spent a lot of money and mind to find a way to shock the star stakes and iron stakes to hold the ground. Vam Nao wharf is standing. The water level receded far away, nearly twenty meters deep. The river confluence is famous in history books because of the aggressiveness of the water every flood season. The small black man still spends billions to buy a long wharf on that land elephant for the fish to live in. Because he relied on the people of the river: “I have three barges, I will put stones on this wharf to keep the soil and keep the sand. This place is very convenient to fish.” The man who used to live on white rice with vegetables and sauerkraut spent most of his middle age releasing tons of fish into the river. People sitting watching the schools of fish that have just been released from the upper section to the lower section were caught by the electric circus circus. “It’s like I’m pouring each school of fish into their electric grid,” Mr. Ut confided. The river is long and the fish are far away, but the Mekong River has nine branches with hundreds of thousands of canals and channels, but the fish have no place to live. Mr. Ut felt sorry. He thought of a way to save the schools of fish. The bustling river wharfs of Mr. Nam Cuong and Nam Dang from the articles have crept in information about Vam Nao wharf. Mr. Ut thought that they could do it, so he could do it, and he embarked on expanding his wharf, ramming the banks, releasing water hyacinths, and spreading food. Mr. Ut started the fish feeding session on Vam Nao river wharf. Photo: Vo Dieu Thanh “They are fierce fish” – Mr. Ut said of the white pompano swarming in the river – “I was told to take them away, kill them so that the other fish could live. We can do good deeds, save the good ones, but we can’t kill the bad ones. But as much as the food was scattered, it ate it up because it was so strong. It grows so fast it’s indescribable. The other fish were thrown to the side. I lost sleep. Three months ago, since the fish came back, I quit my job, and every afternoon I sat down at the wharf from four o’clock to the evening. I looked at the river, at the water, then at the fish. Holding food in my hand I don’t know what to do. When I bought the river wharf, when my grandmother gave me fish to take care of, I just wanted to take care of them without thinking too far. Now the fish is back but full of aggressive fish. I don’t know how I should continue to nurture so that the white pompano does not grow quickly, so that the other fish have room to live.” Mr. Ut sat down to scatter food particles into the water, and said, “That’s how I feed the dolphins. Losing sleep and eating to find a way, finally there is a way. On this wharf, the fish are dividing the sand into their territory…”. He stopped talking, showing me the territory of each type of fish. The empty beach in the middle of the wharf is where the dolphins quietly search for prey, interspersed with the violent waves of the white pomfret. Next to that, inside the shore is a feeding place for fish, perch, catfish, snakehead… Along the long hyacinth clusters on the upper end of the wharf is the feeding place of the pangasius school. If at the wharf in Nam Dang’s house, the pangasius is the lord, it occupies most of the important part of the wharf, then at Mr Ut’s Vam Nao wharf, the catfish gently nestles beside the hyacinths: “Look at it, it’s hungry. I know he can’t eat, I love him but don’t know how to feed him because he’s afraid of the white pompano. Now I know how. When the water is at its strongest, I drop the bait mixed with the soil so that the bait sinks to the bottom. I informed the catfish hiding under the water hyacinth that it was time to eat. It emerged slowly, I spread the bait with water hyacinth. So it eats water hyacinth. The eating of the pangasius is also considered difficult. Seeing him starving, I continued to experiment with other ways. Thanks to the meals sitting at the wharf until late afternoon and evening, spreading mixed food, I discovered that when the water was high, at night, the white birds went nowhere, the pangasius began to eat more boldly. They encroach on the water where the white pompano often forages to eat. They overflowed the water surface, spilled over each other and ate boldly. The white pomfrets don’t know anything.” When the low water stopped, the water stood still to change to the big water, Mr. Ut started his fish feeding session. First, he carefully scattered small food like chili seeds on the surface of the water: “This is a small food, very expensive, I bought it to raise a school of goby fish and baby catfish. Scattered along the shore, gently. When finished, spread to the fish farther away, but also spread less. I found the pompano to catch a little slower than the dolphin. When scattering a little, it does not know there is bait, so it does not rush to fight. I sit and feed slowly. Let the dolphins eat until they are full, then feed the birds. I hope when the dolphins are big enough, they will no longer be afraid of the white pompano and can eat and drink more freely.” Listening to Mr. Ut speak, I miss the fish in Nam Dang’s family. If the food is spread massively, the water surface will be stirred up by the healthy pangasius full of thorns. Catfish crawl on each other to find food. They even crawl into people’s hands. But when the food became less and less, the pangasius gradually retreated, the white carp, perch, and sardines began to appear, they quietly picked up the leftovers. If you want to raise gentle white fish, aquarists must be careful not to disturb the strong and eager fish by spreading bait massively. Author Vo Dieu Thanh (wearing glasses) experiences feeding fish at the river wharf of Mr. Nam Dang’s house. More than a year now, thousands of natural pangasius fish have pulled in and stayed up to now. Photo: Van Hai Mr. Ut feeding the fish is like meditating. Carefully fertilize each small seed. Flock of fishes are deceived. He saw that there was nothing to worry about there, so he rummaged through his strong sharp teeth somewhere in the bottom of the river. The dolphins invite each other to quietly blush in the water, quietly waiting for each piece of bait. It is eating but it seems that it is meditating with the feeder. Quietly take a small bite and wait quietly. Looking at the gentle eating of the dolphins, I feel pity. Mr. Ut also gave up eating and working because of love, and sat down to fertilize every grain of food for it. He said it was very gentle, eating enough is diving, there is no fight like a flock of birds. Flocks of fish are like bags of greed, no matter how much they eat, they can’t feel full. People often love good people. People want to destroy the aggressive white pompano, Mr. Ut shakes his head: “Being gentle is loving. Because it’s an animal, it’s stupid. Must protect it. All are lives. I want to practice so that the fish can live in harmony with each other on this wharf.” Then people are lazy, fish are also lazy. They live as if they are walking on a clear poetic region. In the midst of that leisurely elegance, the white pompano became an outsider. Sharp fangs have no martial arts ground. The fangs are not ferocious, but they just don’t bother to fight when around are just resources that are not worth worrying about. The herd of pangasius, which is an ordinary person, also quietly nestled to one side. Wait until Mr. Ut released the last seeds of bait, the voracious snouts slowly squeezed the water hyacinth to suck on each small piece of food. All are innocent like children. Mr. Ut made the long-sword warriors to line up in peace. Thousands of fish gathered at the riverbank of Mr. Nam Dang and Mr. Ut. Clip made by the author Vo Dieu Thanh Seeing how Mr. Ut’s neighbors enthusiastically watched the fish eat as if they were watching a beautiful scene, excitedly dumping the boxes of freed fish into the wharf with all the belief that the fish would have a better life in this wharf, we will saw the river moving, speaking kind voices. Soft voices that go deep into the consciousness of many people. Tons of free-range fish have a place to live, let it grow, let it find its new breeding seasons. The vast Vam Nao stream is billowing with an underground, silent but powerful vitality. It seems to be telling the world a long story about the companionship of the human heart and creation. The vast universe contains all kinds of species. The mercy of man will be as wide as the universe. Although the constant change can turn the sea into a bride, the tolerance of human love remains there forever, adorning the world with silent streams of colors overflowing with life. The riverbanks are alive again, happy again, rich again from the sweet and sincere spread. The happy riverbanks will be even wider, longer over time, along the length of the water. And accordingly, the stories of humanity will also be told in thousands of shapes, regardless of the flow of life outside.

There is a flower with purple color, the body is floating with the water filled with …. Those are the verses of author Vu Quyen describing the hyacinth. Not only beautiful and meaningful, but the hyacinth has also become a unique dish of the people who love the garden.
In the rainy season, the hyacinth blooms a section of the river, making it not easy for boats and boats to travel. But in the difficult, the people from my countryside are skillful to take advantage of. People pick and look at the water hyacinth to cook sour soup, dot fish sauce, warehouse fish…; And I took advantage of picking hyacinth flowers and stir-fry them with the newly caught shrimps in the ditch.

Hyacinth is also known as Western water hyacinth or Japanese duckweed, there are many in the river. In the past, water hyacinth was just an aquatic species drifting along the water, an unusable herb but a very dear, close image to Mekong Delta farmers. The hyacinth has a delicate purple heart color with no fragrance, and on its yellow-spotted petals looks like peacocks showing their tails. The average football stirred the song Water hyacinth is picked and washed, cut off the book to drain. Put the oil in a pan, fry the garlic for fragrant, pour the marinated shrimp into the pan. The aroma is soaked up, the hyacinth is added, and the lid is closed. Just a little, the hyacinth has fallen, seasoned it again to taste it and reminded it from the kitchen that there was a delicious, clean and rustic dish. Pick up a shrimp with hyacinth flower and dab it in a cup of soy sauce and bring it to your mouth to chew slowly, you will “keep listening to” the sweet, chewy taste of the shrimp; The taste is soft, sweet, and the typical aroma of hyacinth, once eaten, will forever remember the taste of the country. What is better than when enjoying a hot meal with the family with a plate of water hyacinth stir-fried with shrimp, both simple and delicious, while not worrying about vegetables being “dirty” by fertilizers, chemical drugs. Previously, the dishes from water hyacinth were only the dishes of the poor, now they have become attractive and classified as specialties, already present in many restaurants for visitors to enjoy. when I have the opportunity to come to the West.

The homeland is like the cradle of each person’s life, so that when going away, the nostalgia always lingers. Sometimes, the memory of this person is the river ablaze all over and up and down and bustling in the early afternoon; But for the other, it was the golden season, or the headlines of water hyacinths fluttering in pure water, great water. Personally, my constant nostalgia is the image of green water slopes on both sides of the canal in front of the house.
Now, sometimes when I go to the market, I often see a few sisters selling watermelon. Suddenly, the despicable image of my mother in the past, also selling melon, saving money to support me to study, is now back intact. After cutting the kelp, bring it into the house, the cheeks wash it, cut it into pieces about 4 – 5cm long, then dry it out in the sun. When looking at it, the pig has wilted, it must be quickly brought into the house.

For the melon to have a rich, beautiful look, the cheeks cut ginger, galangal roots and chili to ripen into thin slices, then mix into the subjects, add a little salt and sugar to taste, empty the rice, then pour water to wash the rice. slang to flood, then cover tightly. 3 – 4 days later, when the cantaloupe turns yellow, it is edible … Saying that, but to make a cup of melon is not easy, must be meticulous and have a secret, not playing around. Melon can be eaten with fish stock, or cooked in sour soup with perch, snakehead fish is all delicious. The ringing, earthy taste, the pungent, strong, sour smell of cantaloupe has seeped into my flesh and blood until now and has become nostalgia. My father cooks quite well, but every time he cooks porridge, he nods, and he just can’t wait to eat. To have a pot of delicious porridge for the whole family, the mother must choose large, bright yellow eels and young mussels to cook well enough. When the pot of porridge boils, the rice has just hatched, the cheeks let all of the mussels thinly into and cook together, while the eel is quickly cooked, then put in the last. Until all cooked, she put braised cilantro, minced chili lemongrass and coconut milk, then mentioned it down, served the tray … I don’t know, is it because of the porridge pot made with water. Did I give up on my cheeks blush, to go back to live with my baby’s cheeks, or because of their forgiveness? As for me, the smell of porridge water kept strong until now. On the phone, my mother said to my husband and I: “My father is now in the field because it rains, so I have a cold, I have to cook water for him to drink.” Listening to my mother, I felt so impatient, I loved my father more, but I loved her more. The cup of moth sweet is sweet, the fragrance is soothing to relieve poison, but the love of cheeks for her father is sweeter and more fragrant than the cup of cheeks cooked. I love my cheeks so much, I love all my youth because of my children and the gentle streak of Western women, the square of the family home. Knowing that I like the watermelon dish cooked in sour snakehead snakehead fish soup, my wife went to the market early on the weekend. My wife said there was no good snakehead fish today, so the whole family ate a pickle and pickled soup cooked with anabas. Put a little broth into the rice bowl, I hear the smell of melon, pungent, not strong, sour, fragrant like melon in the old days. However, living in urban areas, a little love from the countryside, even if not tasting, warms the hearts of those who are far away from home. This afternoon, the city suddenly poured rain. I watched the rain fall, suddenly heard my heart flutter, remembering my mother’s saying: “Love is a long life, not just a season for her to make medicine.” Injury!

Each water hyacinth that Mr. Duong has just completed is 1.86m high, the largest diameter is 0.59m, and weighs 20kg. More than 10 million pieces of water hyacinth for each water hyacinth are held together by aluminum wire, water pipes. He has used collected canning waste for many years.

A pair of water hyacinths 1.86m high has been made by Mr. Nguyen Van Dai Duong for more than 4 years. Photo: NGUYEN TRANG Mr. Duong said: “The idea of making water hyacinth from cans of water since 2012 and I started collecting cans throughout 2014 to obtain a large amount”. After collecting, Mr. Duong washed and coated the cans with a shade to keep them for a long time. By 2015, Mr. Duong started to design a hyacinth, he used thin aluminum wire to knit, connect to form the frame of the water hyacinth. After that, he continued to use water pipes with a diameter of 20cm to be inserted inside to keep the water hyacinth standing upright. He used a smaller water pipe 17-18cm in diameter inside the original large pipe, the purpose of which can pour water and flower arrangements. All steps on the frame, the inner structure is complete, Mr. Duong continues to make the more difficult process of connecting the cans together and the boss overlaps in succession. “I used yellow spandex and cut thin enough to pass through the hole in the can. Use at least 10m of fabric to connect 10 million pieces of cans for each water hyacinth ”. According to Mr. Duong, the hyacinth base, knotted areas are the most difficult. He had to be skillful so that the water hyacinth wouldn’t lose its symmetry when it was placed from the bottom up. He had to remove and install it many times to make the base of the water hyacinth. Mr. Duong also made a tea kettle made of colorful cans. He said, in the near future, he plans to make more products from cans. >> Some pictures of a pair of water hyacinths made from a bottle of cans.
The meaning of the hyacinth Hyacinth is also known as Japanese water hyacinth, because it was imported from South America and brought back by the Japanese. It is called a hyacinth because the leaf stalk swells up to look like a vase, the leaves are rolled together like petals. Purple hyacinth means a strong and strong vitality, even though it is overwhelmed by the rain and wind, by flowing water, but the tree is still green and still blooming purple and stretching out to welcome the bright sunshine. How to arrange hyacinth flowers Hyacinth is certainly no stranger to the 8X generation. People often consider this plant “as cheap as duck” only to make food for livestock and poultry or to make flower arrangements. To Thao, hyacinth is a very special flower, it makes her fascinated and most attracted ever. Ms. Pham Thao shared: “I did not expect water hyacinth to have such a gentle and fragile beauty. With its light purple color, fragile petals, the water hyacinth has a strange charm! Each flower plant has many flowers forming a cluster of flowers. Each flower has 6 petals, but only 1 inside is dark purple and a yellow dot looks like a peacock’s fur eye! Very special!” The flower is extremely fragile and easy to crush, so care should be taken when picking and arranging. The 8x girl shared, in order to keep the hyacinth beautiful during the flower playing time, she had 4 days to experience and learn from her experience. Because the hyacinth flowers are fragile, they are very fresh under the pond, but when picked, if not careful, the flowers are easy to crush! Therefore, how to bring flowers home with little crushing is the most difficult thing. In order to preserve the flowers from being crushed and fresh, Ms. Thao said: Do not pick each flower separately, but leave the whole plant, remove the roots and the old leaves outside. Should be placed in a bucket or pot, limit flower contact with flowers because so the wings are easy to crush. In terms of plugging, because herbaceous hyacinths live on the water surface, so much water is needed. When plugging, you should choose a wide-mouthed vase to limit flower contact with flowers. Due to the unstable characteristics of the water hyacinth, you should try to cherish it little by little so that the flowers do not wilt and crush, and the flowers can be played from morning until late at night. Although playing time is little, but watching the beautiful flowers all day for Mrs. Thao is also extremely enjoyable! Invite you to watch the lovely hyacinth flower pots created by the skillful hand of Mrs. Thao: The purple color of wildflowers brightens the corner of the room

New technology garbage pick-up equipment works with a capacity of about 25 to 30 tons of trash within 8 hours.

Recently, the Waterway Management Center in coordination with Saigon Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company has operated new technology equipment in the collection of rubbish on the Vam Thuat River, at Ben Phan Bridge (Go Vap District, City). .HCM).

As noted by PV, there are three devices in operation to pick up trash, mainly water hyacinth and floating garbage. A device like a large barge has a garbage storage compartment and a pick-up crane. On both sides of the conveyor belt are fitted with two garbage collection wings, which help to put the garbage on the deck. In addition, the small garbage pick-up machine is operated by one person, moving the garbage and bringing it to the barge.

According to PV’s observations in just a few working hours tons of water hyacinths are collected ashore.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Head of Maintenance Management Division, Waterway Management Center, said that for many years, garbage collection has contributed to reducing the amount of rubbish on the above rivers, gradually improving the regional environment. However, the garbage collection is still rudimentary, using a lot of manual labor, and the efficiency and productivity are not high.

Therefore, the unit has piloted operation of new technology equipment imported from the US. With this new technology, workers do not have to salvage manually but completely control by machine, collecting every two days, the capacity to pick up about 25 to 30 tons within 8 hours.

“This device will save manpower, time and collect large volumes, thereby increasing the economic efficiency of the city. Besides, it will also create a better image on the river compared to traditional garbage collection.” – Mr. Hai said.

Regarding the current difficulties, Mr. Hai added that in addition to floating rubbish and water hyacinths, there are large-sized rubbish such as blankets, mattresses, tables and chairs, making it difficult to collect trash. In addition, the river bank is not straight and flat, so the access of the machine is also difficult.

Mr. Hai added that the garbage collection system consists of five devices, of which two are imported from the US and three are researched and manufactured by a team of Vietnamese engineers. After the pilot period, the Department of Transport will report to the City People’s Committee replicated in the area. At the same time, the unit is also building a unit price that is suitable for management in the future.

Pilot garbage collection with new technology

Previously, on October 9, 2020, the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City held a pilot meeting to collect and collect rubbish on the Vam Thuat – Ben Cat river using modern equipment with new technology.

This equipment is proposed by Saigon Transport Construction Joint Stock Company to use in the spirit of the “Ho Chi Minh City people do not litter the streets and canals because the city is clean and less flooded”.
