At a factory in Thach That, Hanoi. Nearly 10 architects and mechanics hustled to work continuously for nearly 4 days and nights to perfect the Covid-19 test sampling chamber, with the aim of helping medical staff to reduce their hardships when taking samples for testing in the coming weeks. hot day.

All stages from drawing up the design to processing are done by team members. Even, just doing it, team members also consult the community. The chamber is 1.2 m long, 2.4 m wide and 2.65 m high, enough for four medical staff to work together. Not only has the effect of cooling, this chamber also acts as a shield to protect medical staff when there is an air purification system and UV sterilization. The lights will be on for 8 minutes before the medical staff come to work. The cost to complete this product is both supported by team members and contributed by units and benefactors such as glass doors, air conditioners, germicidal lamps, etc. Mr. Khieu Huu Nghia – the group’s representative shared, when he and the whole group embarked on the implementation of this chamber, there were also many different opinions. Once completed, the sampling chamber will be moved to an isolation area in Bac Giang. After the medical staff use and give feedback, the team will proceed to further improve the details and features of the products. Besides Mr. Nghia’s group, in the past few days, another group of volunteers, former students of Thai Binh High School for the Gifted, are also providing training for the production of “experimental sampling cabins”. These are movable chamber models, which can be transported in different terrains. Each of these cabins will have 2 doctors sitting to take samples, measuring 1m long, 1m wide, 2m high, with air conditioning installed. Due to the advantages of available materials, these “test cabins” can be produced quickly and at low cost. The group plans to donate these cabins to the Hanoi CDC and Bac Giang epidemic center. Should be in the community In South Korea, this mobile testing booth was installed in March 2020, looks like a public phone booth. Each chamber is about 1m wide, about 2.5m high and weighs 230kg, with a medical staff working… This idea is considered very effective. Korean press, newspaper Korea Herald It is also reported that this mobile test chamber is being used in many places in Korea and countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Italy and the Philippines. In the hot days of early June, when doctors and medical staff had to cope with the weather and overwork, many people thought of the idea of making this laboratory in Vietnam. The social network even strongly shared the image of Korea’s “Covid-19 testing cabin” in which medical staff took samples without wearing hot protective gear, quite comfortably taking samples for Covid-19 testing for patients. citizen. The reason this image has been shared a lot is because of the recent hot sunny days, the image of medical staff wearing tight protective gear, exhausted from taking samples in the hot sun makes the community feel sorry and wish. There are solutions to help them out. On the morning of June 4, discuss with PV Infonet , Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son said, “During very severe weather like the past time, the outdoor temperature to 39-40 degrees Celsius has greatly affected the health of medical staff, students, and health workers. employees working directly in the community. This is a great concern of the Standing Department.” Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son said that in Bac Giang, there was a plan to fix it by installing army field tents with an area of 12m2, with 4 windows, and an air conditioner inside. 4 medical staff taking samples still wearing protective gear stood out to take samples. In the context and conditions of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son said that ‘the job of sampling cabins should only be done in the community. And at key points, if it is necessary to take samples at noon, on hot sunny days, there are tents.”

Due to the negative effects from the Covid-19 epidemic, the difficult transportation caused the price of raw materials for production of the wood industry to skyrocket. Before this fact, consumers are gradually changing their psychology to use cheaper products, simple interior wood designs, in order to reduce construction and installation costs. Therefore, many businesses are reluctant to reduce the price of finished products.

Trends in furniture design favor simplicity and versatility in order to reduce costs during the epidemic period. Changing shopping needs
Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, residing at lane 133 Thinh Liet (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) said that his family had just bought an apartment in Tan Mai street (Hoang Mai) and was installing it. furniture. However, due to the decrease in income during the Covid-19 epidemic, his family prioritizes moderate-priced wood materials, from 700,000 to 800,000 VND/m2 to build beds, tables and chairs, and floors. For other furniture, such as TV shelves, wardrobes, and kitchen cabinets, preference is given to industrial wood with prices ranging from 400,000 to 500,000 VND/m2. “Wood is still the most popular product when it comes to interior finishing, but with the current epidemic situation, my income has decreased, so I have to use affordable products. In fact, cheaper products do not mean that they will break quickly during use. If the elements are not moldy, waterproof, etc., it will still prolong the life of the furniture. In addition, using affordable products when you want to change the design is also less expensive, “- Mr. Nguyen Van Binh shared.
Currently, most people do not want or cannot afford to install high-class wood products, instead switching to industrial wood product lines, such as MDF, Veneer, and MFC. .., has a lower price, but not much inferior in terms of design, usability, even somewhat superior in form. According to General Director of Tam Phat Fine Art Wood Company, Pham Quoc Truong, the affordable industrial wood product line is the preferred choice by consumers, not only at the “softer” price compared to natural wood. , but also in line with the tastes of today’s youth. “Industrial wood is simple but still brings sophistication in design, easy to use, easy to clean. This is the advantage that helps industrial wood furniture to compete fairly with natural wood” – Mr. Pham Quoc Truong acknowledged.
Simple design choices
Mr. Hoang Van Thuy, owner of Thuy Ha furniture factory, Lien Ha commune (Dong Anh, Hanoi) said that currently, wooden products used for interior decoration on the market have a variety of designs. price. Wood material not only brings elegance and aesthetics, but when designed, it is easy to combine with items in many different spaces. Therefore, wood materials are always preferred by people.
Accordingly, sophisticated patterns and motifs are replaced with less cumbersome, monochromatic shapes, suitable for young families, townhouses or apartments. In addition to meeting the requirement of simplicity, due to limited living space in urban areas, consumers want to use multi-functional, integrated furniture, for example, kitchen cabinets with many drawers, rotating cabinets. or slide to hold multiple items. In addition to simplicity and versatility, smart furniture also plays an increasingly important role in living space in urban areas to optimize the area of the house. For example, combining the use of a wooden table with a bed with many drawers, the foot of the stairs combined with a shelf… The arrangement of utilities near each other helps the house space to add more space, people can more opportunities to enjoy the benefits of 4.0 technology. With the change in tastes, along with the tight spending mentality during the current epidemic period, consumers are tending to use wood products with simple designs and multi-purpose furniture.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has proposed mandatory use of Bluezone application. Smartphone users are required to use an application to identify close contact when going to a public place, where there are many people.
The Department of Informatization (Ministry of Information & Communications – TT & TT) has just issued Official Letter No. 733 on the application of technology to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic at agencies and units under the Ministry.

Accordingly, in the face of increasingly complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the city, the Department of Informatization recommends agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications to use technological solutions for medical declaration. Manage people entering and exiting the office. Specifically, in addition to officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees in the agency, all guests coming to contact work are required to install and turn on the application to install the Bluezone proximity detection application before go to work. This rule only excludes those who do not use smartphones. Bluezone application is the most effective tool to trace people suspected of being infected with Covid-19. Photo: Trong Dat At the entrance of offices and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Department of Informatization recommends that you paste a QR Code to install the Bluezone application at a recognizable location to support users. Guests who come to work at agencies and headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications also need to make an electronic medical declaration. The declaration will be made on 1 of 3 applications Bluezone, NCOVI, Vietnam Health Declaration or on website tokhaiyte.vn. The paper medical declaration will only be applied to those who do not have a smartphone. In addition, agencies and units in the Ministry of Information and Communications have also been advised to manage people entering and leaving the office by scanning QR codes. To do this, units need to register for a “quarantine point” and get their QR code at website tokhaiyte.vn. This QR code will be printed and pasted at a recognizable location at the entrance of each agency or unit. Scanning QR codes is a measure to save users’ epidemiological milestones. Guests coming to contact business will be forced to scan a QR code for quarantine using one of the 3 applications Bluezone, NCOVI, Vietnam Health Declaration. In the event that after scanning the quarantine QR code, the application says that the user has not made a medical declaration or the declaration has expired, they will be forced to make a medical declaration and re-scan the code. At the entrance to the offices, the Department of Informatization also recommends arranging a department to check and monitor the scanning of quarantine QR codes of employees and visitors to contact for work. Using the Bluezone tracing app, electronic medical declarations and scanning QR codes for quarantine are just 3 of the 5 anti-epidemic solutions with technology proposed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to localities. Previously, sharing at the current news at 19:00 on May 26 of Vietnam Television, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said that renewing the approach to technology in Covid-19 prevention and control is a combination balance between “defence” and “attack”. In terms of technology, “attack” is the mandatory use of some key applications to prevent Covid-19, instead of just recommending as before. If before, data was distributed by application, now data must be managed centrally. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung. The Ministry of Information and Communications has proposed mandatory use of Bluezone application. Workers in industrial parks, factories and enterprises are required to make medical declarations. People using smartphones are required to use an application to identify close contact when going to a public place, where there are many people. Public places and offices must control people coming, going, leaving and entering by scanning QR codes. The fourth measure is to use technology to support the monitoring of people in medical isolation. According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung, turning on Bluetooth and using the Bluezone application when going to public places will help users protect themselves, protect the community, assist in zoning out the epidemic, and quickly trace. When that happens, it will also help isolate high-risk people, rather than everyone. For agencies and organizations, effective disease prevention will help agencies, organizations, factories and enterprises maintain normal production and business activities. Trong Dat

Viettel’s technicians have installed 1,000 cameras in isolation areas of Bac Giang. Viettel Group said that, following the direction of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, within seven days, Viettel completed the installation and integrated connection of 3,000 surveillance cameras in isolated areas of the country. northern provinces. Particularly for 130 isolation facilities in 125 communes of Bac Giang province – the locality that is experiencing the most stressful situation in the country, Viettel has mobilized maximum resources to install 1,000 more cameras within five days, quickly. double the normal rate. All image data from the camera is integrated into a centralized management system at the Control Center. The system of application of cloud computing technology allows the National Steering Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee and the Management Division in the isolated area to monitor images 24/7 according to decentralization. By deploying Viettel’s cameras, epidemic prevention and control agencies can monitor all activities in isolation areas from the 24-hour management system, minimizing possible developments. The epidemic situation is more serious when the human and material resources for the province’s surveillance have been mobilized to the maximum capacity. To ensure the safety of officials, employees and society, Viettel’s technical personnel participating in the campaign at isolated locations are fully equipped with protective equipment for epidemic prevention, and trained in epidemic prevention skills. and at each point of staffing to carry out the whole process, from surveying the location until the camera is fully integrated into the centralized management system. After completing the task, Viettel’s staff members are isolated for 21 days at home according to regulations. Mr. Le Dang Dung, General Director of Viettel Group said: “As the country’s key technology enterprise, Viettel is responsible for contributing technology solutions to realize national goals. With the spirit of soldiers, we are always present on the front lines to ensure the safety of the people and society.”

Menart is a private company established in 1961 specializing in the design, construction and installation of equipment for organic fertilizer production and environmental protection waste treatment. With a team of highly qualified engineers and technicians, Menart provides equipment and solutions for many fields, especially environmental protection and clean agricultural production. Currently, Menart’s network of activities covers 60 countries on 4 continents including Asia, Europe, Africa and America. According to Ms. Bérengère Menart, General Director of Menart, the company has been working with Vietnam since the late 90s of the last century in the field of environment. In Vietnam, Menart provides equipment for waste treatment plants in Dong Nai, Soc Trang, Kon Tum, Ha Tinh, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam provinces to turn waste into compost for agriculture. Waste sorting and treatment line manufactured by Menart company for Vietnam market. The composting waste treatment plant at the domestic and industrial solid waste treatment area in Vinh Tan commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province is invested by Sonadezi Environment Joint Stock Company and also provided by Menart Company. device. The 7.1-hectare plant was put into trial operation late last year with a capacity of 450 tons/day, operating 8 hours/day. The operation process consists of 4 main stages: waste sorting, aerobic composting, ripening, and creating refined humus. About 80% of the organic waste received will be treated as compost; about 15% of inert waste after burning is buried in hygienic burial pits; About 5% of nylon bags are recovered, recycled and reused. Currently, Menart continues to complete the garbage sorting equipment, composting machines, rotary machines, and composting equipment to hand over to Sonadezi to serve the expansion of the Vinh Tan waste treatment plant. Ms. Bérengère Menart strongly believes in the prospect of cooperation in this field with Vietnam. She said: “Vietnamese people and local authorities will raise awareness of environmental protection, reduce the amount of untreated waste into the environment and thus contribute to improving the quality of life.” She affirmed and wished to continue expanding cooperation in technology transfer to Vietnamese partners in the fields of environment and agriculture.

If you are lucky enough to have a separate laundry area in your home, it is worth taking the time to conceptualize and design this space. Here are 5 things to keep in mind when designing and installing laundry equipment for the home
If you are lucky enough to have a separate laundry area in your home, it will be worth taking the time to plan the layout and design this space. You should decide what equipment and equipment you will need in the laundry room and / or what functions the laundry room will need to undertake before planning and arranging the premises for this laundry. Here are 5 things to keep in mind when designing and installing laundry equipment for the home.

Decide on where to place the washing machine Usually, the washing machine is placed close to the ground. However, the washing machine placed on high is not unreasonable, depending on the current situation of the laundry room space and the needs of your family. For example, a family washing machine in the UK (pictured) is placed higher than the floor; Just below the washing machine is a protruding base designed to fit the laundry basket. Thus, after the laundry is finished or when the laundry is put into the machine, the washer can take the clothes easily in a position that is just within reach, without having to bend over and not suffer from shoulder and hip fatigue. with washing machine on the floor. Arranging a place to store laundry basket You should consider the convenience when thinking about arranging space for laundry baskets to be laundered. Normally, you should place the main laundry basket near the washing machine to avoid the inconvenience of having to carry a lot of clothes, moving a new distance to the washing machine. Of course, you can put the smaller baskets in the bedroom and gather them in a large basket near the washing machine. You should arrange an empty space under the long table in the laundry room to place dirty laundry baskets; you might also consider using a wheeled basket for ease of portability, for maximum flexibility. Install a clothesline Of course, drying clothes in the natural sun is perfect for drying clothes both dry, fragrant, and energy-saving drying. However, when outdoor conditions are not permissible, you may wish to have a drying line available in your laundry area. You might consider installing some drying lines high above (can be hung from the ceiling), near the window of the laundry area (if any). Sink layout If space allows, a sink will be extremely useful in the home laundry area. The sink can allow you to hand wash certain types of clothes, allowing you to use a separate bleach with certain stains before putting them together in the washing machine or as a washing place, washing certain items or special clothing. You may also want to place the sink near the washing machine, so that you will keep the floor more dry as you move the laundry from the sink to the drum. Optimize the ability to store furniture Usually, the laundry space is also a place where you want to store a lot of other items, not only laundry, for example clothes bridges, vacuum cleaners, buckets, shovels, mop … It is crucial that you calculate to optimize the laundry room space, store more items, not clutter, do not mess, and do not affect the main function of this room is washing clothes./.

When deciding to install a family elevator, one of the main concerns is the size of the elevator needs to match the moving needs of the number of members in the house.
Below is an advice about the size of the home elevator according to the load so as not to waste space and electricity.

The elevator has a load capacity of 250kg For small families, only about 3 members should choose a light-weight elevator of about 250kg. The size of the cabin is 1400mm x 1400mm, optimally designed to make it easy to move but not to feel suffocated. The compact design of the mini elevator will help homeowners save maximum space and power usage. The elevator has a load capacity of 300kg The elevator has a tonnage of 300kg with a cabin size of about 1500mm x 1400mm suitable for families of 4 members. In particular, this elevator design will meet the need to move in families with a height of 4 floors or more. The elevator has a load capacity of 450kg Family elevator with a load of 450kg with a size of 1600mm x 1500mm is the optimal choice for families of 3 generations from 5 to 6 members. The lift cabin area is spacious enough for family use at the same time. In addition, the elevator can completely be used to transfer some bulky furniture such as refrigerators, furniture, television … The elevator size has a payload of 550kg and 650kg The 550kg elevator has dimensions of 1600mm x 1600mm and the elevator of 650kg is suitable for size 1700mm x 1700mm, which is equivalent to a load of 7 to 9 people at a time. These two spacious cabins will be suitable for a house with 2 families living together or luxury apartments, hotels, motels, high-rise inns … Recommended elevator sizes for renovated homes The industry is increasingly developing, home elevators are also much improved than before. The elevator’s size is completely not fixed, as long as the customer provides the data on the elevator’s installation space, the number of loads expected …, the reputable elevator supplier can ” tailoring ”an elevator that matches your family’s specifications. This is considered a “salvage” solution for renovated houses that cannot be rebuilt again and again. For example, the family elevator with hydraulic technology with Pit pit is only about 1 hand short and does not need a machine room, the height is as low as 2.2m, making the installation more convenient and easier. Therefore, the size of the elevator is also customized when it is possible to install the elevator in all positions such as the staircase, the balcony … without spending more family space but can still comfortably move. Elevator size is no longer a problem for architects or customers. What you need is to find the right elevator solution for your family such as parameters, style, technology, price … Modern has many units of supplying and installing family elevators, customers need to choose a reputable address to find the right solution for your home.

After a baby escaped death after falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Hanoi, the number of orders for an apartment safety net has increased from a few orders to a few tens, even hundreds a day.

The need to install safety nets for apartments is increasing quite high. After a baby escaped death after falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Hanoi, the number of orders for an apartment safety net has increased from a few orders to a few tens, even hundreds a day. Quickly called a mechanic to install a safety net for the apartment corridor, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (Gemek 2 apartment building, Hoai Duc, Hanoi) said he bought this apartment since he got married, but at that time safety net is not installed because it is not really necessary. However, recently, after many unsafe cases in the apartment, especially the case of a baby falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Hanoi, he immediately called a mechanic to put a safety net for his family. me. However, it takes two days for someone to install it. The reason is that most stores are “burned” orders. “Buying an apartment house, my favorite is the wide and beautiful view, so when I first bought it, I didn’t want the view to be obscured by the safety net. Besides, when there are only two couples, the need for safety nets is not really necessary. But now, the couple has a new child, the baby is quite active, so I install a safety net for more peace of mind ”, Mr. Tien said. The mentality of Mr. Tien is the common mentality of many families living in the apartment today. That is also the reason why the safety net market for apartment buildings these days is vibrant again. Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, owner of a shop installing safety nets in Hoai Duc (Hanoi), said that in the past, his company’s staff often went to new apartments to hand over to offer. Usually, the number of orders will increase strongly if there are many apartments handed over in the batch. But in recent days, he hardly has to go to offer, but the number of customers calling to order the company is quite large. He said: “If normally, every day there are only more or less customers calling to order, just a few days ago, the number of customers has increased by 7.8 times. In particular, today, I received more than 100 orders. Because the demand has increased dramatically, we increase the installation even after the break and at night. There are even more customers who have to wait until the next day ”. Mr. Thang also shared, safety nets for apartments have many types, the price of mesh 3 mm diameter is 150,000 VND / m2; 2.5 mm in diameter is priced at 140 thousand VND / m2. If the window pane is less than 1 m2, the regulated price is VND 250,000, including construction and materials. Safety net is a system of parallel cable tension frame with a small distance, about 5 – 15cm, not through the head. In terms of structure, the frame system consists of two rigid aluminum bars positioned above and below. These aluminum bars have pre-perforated holes at a predetermined distance and the cable is continuously threaded through the holes into a mesh surface. Most safety nets are made of 304 stainless steel material with a diameter of 2.5 – 3.5mm, coated with corrosion-resistant HDPE or PE plastic, which is very durable and has good bearing capacity. Mesh has advantages such as high durability, good bearing capacity, no scratching of limbs upon impact, no rust due to humid air, especially suitable for the climate of Hanoi. Safety nets in balcony, loggias or windows prevent people, pets from falling or climbing out. Besides, it works to prevent clothes or other objects such as bonsai pots, bird cages flying or falling below. In particular, the safety net in the apartment building must be able to be cut with specialized tools if a fire or emergency occurs to serve the rescue and rescue work. Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc, owner of a store that installed safety nets in Ha Dong (Hanoi) shared more, for the convenience of customers, the apartment safety nets are installed with a clothes drying frame. . Depending on the needs of customers, the store will have appropriate advice, but it is important to ensure maximum safety for customers. “Although demand for safety nets has increased in recent days, we will not increase prices,” Ngoc said. According to the Vietnam Construction Code on housing and public works – safety of life and health issued by the Ministry of Construction in 2008, the minimum height of handrails is specified: Houses, offices, schools school, office and public works of loggias and terraces at the position of 9 floors or more, the minimum height is 1.4 m. For works used by children under 5 years old, the balustrade must be constructed not for children to easily climb over and the gap must not exceed 10 cm wide. With handrails or loggias used with glass material, the glass is protected by a fixture, ensuring it is solid, no gaps are inserted into the 7.5 cm-diameter sphere, difficult to climb over to prevent prevent falling. However, because children are hyperactive, it is difficult to foresee the risks. Low cost, fast construction time, durable, installing a protective net is one of the timely solutions to increase the safety of today’s apartment buildings.

By supporting the installation of solar panels on cultivated areas with suitable spacing, Khmer farmers earn ‘double profit’ from having electricity sold to the national grid and earning revenue. imported from vegetable production. The model opens up prospects for sustainable poverty reduction in areas with a large number of ethnic Khmer.
 Benefit harmony

Stemming from the research on the model combining agricultural production and solar power in 2018, the Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID) continues to do field research to pilot the model in An Giang province. The selected place is the cultivated land of Mr. Chau Hon’s family, Khmer household in An Hoa hamlet (Chau Lang commune, Tri Ton). The model was implemented by GreenID and Climate Sense Co., Ltd. (Climate Sense) from May 2020, with the support of the Management Board of the Sustainable Energy Development Project in An Giang province, Department of Agriculture and Development. Tri Ton district rural area and Chau Lang Commune People’s Committee. The model is designed according to the standards of rooftop solar power installed on construction works, tree-growing houses and instructions of EVN (Vietnam Electricity) with a capacity of 45Kwp, installed on an area of 400m2. of Mr. Chau Hon’s family. The model is completed and the grid is connected in December 2020. To ensure the efficiency of the plants underneath, the solar panels are designed with the right spacing, to ensure the growth of the plant variety. This is considered the first model with tripartite cooperation (people, businesses and non-profit organizations). The benefit sharing mechanism is discussed, agreed and harmonized among the participants. Agricultural production and sub-system farming activities are calculated and tested as soon as the system is completed with a number of short-term crops to assess growth and economic efficiency of the system. paradigm. The solar model associates agricultural production with double efficiency According to GreenID, the profit from the model will be divided among the parties according to the proportion of capital contribution invested. The disbursement period for Climate Sense is in the first 10 years because Climate Sense capital is meant to support initial investment. After 10 years, the whole system will be handed over to GreenID and households for management and use. After 20 years, GreenID will hand over to households full ownership. This model is expected to bring many multilateral financial benefits to the participants and facilitate as well as a typical model to call for more investors to expand. Farmers are excited Since commissioning in early 2021, the power generation portion is monitored remotely on the phone application. As recorded, the sunniest day, the model produces about 246Kwh of electricity and the lowest is 43Kwh on the day. On average, the system produces 103 kWh of electricity per day (as of April 7, 2021). Every month, electricity will record the indexes and payout on the amount of electricity sold to the investor’s account. From January to March 2021, the project has sold more than 4,471 kWh of electricity, equivalent to over VND 22 million. In this joint venture model, all participants benefit from the project. All profits earned from the sale of electricity to EVN will be distributed to the parties to the investment according to the profit sharing structure agreed upon by the parties in the joint venture cooperation contract. Joining the model, Mr. Chau Hon’s family and the project planted some new crops to test new crops for research. From January to April 2021, the research team collaborated with the project team and farmers to experiment with water spinach and cucumber to calculate the suitability of plants under solar panels and compare them with planting. outside. In fact, plants in the shade under solar panels grow well because they retain moisture, avoid direct sunlight due to extremely sunny weather and improved farming techniques. “I planted cucumber from February to 2021, the plants grown in a greenhouse under the panels outperform the control field outside, the fruiting rate is quite stable. Currently, my family harvests more than 30kg of cucumber per day. The fruit has a nice design and is long, fresh and delicious, highly appreciated by customers ”- Mr. Chau Hon said excitedly. Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Truong Kien Tho said that the combination of agricultural production and solar power is a new model, showing initial efficiency. “When looking at the pictures of the panels covering the agricultural land, many people think it is impossible to cultivate. However, when choosing suitable crops, productivity and quality are higher. In the same arid land, farmers can keep an income from farming while also earning a monthly electricity bill. This is a model that can help many farmers to escape poverty sustainably and get better-off ”- Mr. Tho assessed. The model of installing solar cells combining agricultural production below helps generate additional revenue from selling solar power, making the most of arable land to increase income, and reduce conflicts in use. use of land resources. Some crops benefit from increased coverage, resulting in higher yields and better product quality

Photo: MRB Le Trung Hieu, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Urban Railway Project Management Board, said that the TBM apparatus is designed specifically for the project of urban railway No.3, section Nhon – Hanoi station. The machine is manufactured by Herrenkecht (Germany), has a length of more than 90 meters, weighs about 850 tons, enough to accommodate machine equipment and operating workers. The peach shield with a prominent red and yellow flag pattern, has a diameter of 6.58m, weighs 65 tons, including main parts such as cutting heads, rake blades, tilling tools and bucket teeth, etc. with geology of Hanoi.
Currently, 2 tunneling machines have completed the test and commissioning. Auxiliary works such as installation of air compressor station, water supply station, mortar mixing station, ventilation will be completed in the end of April.
In order to officially put into operation, the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board has cooperated closely with the consultant, contractors and related parties to ensure the quality of tunneling machines and related work. assessment before construction.
Firstly, the TBM duo must be confirmed from the concerned parties that they have met the performance requirements including: Completed and complete installation; Integration with support systems is appropriate; Qualified critical process parameters; The functions of components and control systems work normally and are in accordance with requirements.
Through the pre-acceptance test at the site (SAT), the TBM machine has been checked the operation, parameters and measurement of the main components, including the equipment: digging shield, control room, material chamber , Conveyor, conveyor, drilling equipment, main drive, tunnel mounting kit, hydraulic system, lubrication system, plumbing system, gas system, safety system, electrical system, systems support system.

Second, special attention is paid to monitoring before, during and after construction. The Contractor has analyzed the affected area when designing to conduct a “buidings condition survey” (BCS) survey for all houses in the affected area. From the condom results, the Contractor has risk assessment analysis (BRA-buildings risk assesstment report) for buildings during construction. Photo: MRB Based on the BRA report, the contractor designs and installs monitoring equipment for buildings and ground, including: Monitoring settlement, inclination, fissure (if any), groundwater level … This will be installed prior to construction and will be monitored during construction for abnormal warning (if any).
In case of abnormal monitoring, the contractor will analyze the cause, assess the level of danger … and based on that result to have a plan for the construction to continue or stop to handle the problem. subject. This is a strict, closed process to ensure the most safety for the above and adjacent buildings.
Compared with conventional tunneling methods, TBM drilling method is said to minimize the impact of traffic, occupy less area or affect surrounding constructions. Because soil can be collected and transported after excavation, this method causes less dust, vibration and noise compared to other tunneling methods. This construction method is environmentally friendly. TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) works on the principle of soil pressure balance. Behind the digging shield is arranged a closed partition. The soil from the excavated shield will fall into the space and create a pressure balance between the excavated soil and the unearthed soil, making the digging mirror stable and not landslides. The soil pressure in the balance chamber is monitored by sensors placed directly in it. After a short 1.5m excavation, the tunnel cover (which is assembled reinforced concrete slabs) is immediately constructed. Where the drill goes, the cover of the tunnel is assembled there to avoid landslide of the soil and rock above. According to the design, in ideal conditions, each day the machine will dig about 10m tunnels.
When put into operation, the TBM duo will start drilling from S9 station to S12 station – Hanoi station at the end of Tran Hung Dao street with a total length of 4km.

Currently, in the city of Vinh (Nghe An), the traffic sign system is too low, installed with many hidden dangers for pedestrians, especially pedestrians. Along with that, a number of auxiliary cultural works are also endangering traffic participants.

Truong Thi, one of the wards in Vinh City, has many roads with very low installed traffic signs. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh said that he was born and raised in Vinh City, witnessing many “revolutions” in urban embellishment in this city. Over the years, there have been many shortcomings about the construction of signs at intersections, intersections or some important contiguous points. The signs are made of hard materials but are set up too low, making it a trap for road users. “In fact, I have seen many pedestrians having their heads chipped because of the traffic signs,” said Thanh. Like Mr. Thanh, many other people also feel “eye pain” because the traffic signs are installed closely together. Over the past time, the system of secondary signs has also been installed unscientific, making many people “bored” when participating in traffic. “Although the accident occurred mainly because the person in the accident did not pay attention and collided with the signboard, if the traffic signs are raised as high as in other cities, there will be less unfortunate accidents” one resident said, shaking his head. Low installed traffic signs cause many unfortunate accidents for road users. PV’s observation shows that signs in Vinh City are set up quite low, even some wards such as Truong Thi, Le Mao … many side signs are only as high as the head of an adult, which is easy to endanger.
The first phase of PUB’s smart water meter program will be completed in 2023. (Source: PUB) According to the Vietnam News Agency reporter in Singapore, from the beginning of 2022, Singapore will install 300,000 for free Smart water meter The first for homes, commercial and industrial buildings at 7 sites is the new residential properties. This is part of the plan digitizing water system Country of the Lion Island. National Water Authority Singapore PUB said these watches use digital technology to track water usage and water leaks. The first phase of the smart water meter program is scheduled to be completed by 2023. With the new engine, PUB can automatically access the speedometer without needing a lot of manual reading, which is now done every two months. Besides, in conjunction with the customer portal, users will be able to track leaks and high water usage in real time. A pilot test conducted on 800 households in Punggol and Yuhua in 2016 and 2018 found that about 10% of them experienced a water leak that often goes unnoticed until they receive a bill. water bill is higher than normal. With smart meters, these households have saved about 5% of costs by detecting early leaks and adopting water saving habits. Public water supply network director Mr. Ridzuan Ismail said: “In the context of increasing water demand and the challenges posed by climate change to water resources, we are also constantly challenged in finding more efficient ways to supply water and save water, to protect water security. ” The project is estimated to be worth SGD 123.7 million. SP Services Company – a subsidiary of the government-owned SP Group – will be responsible for the supply and installation of smart meters and supporting infrastructure, as well as for their operation and maintenance for 15 years. year. Mr. Stanley Huang, CEO of SP Group, said the deployment of smart water metering system for Singapore is built on the Group’s achievements in setting up and operating smart electric metering systems across the island. As of March 31, SP Group has installed more than 500,000 smart electric meters nationwide and plans to complete installation for all 1.4 million households by 2024./.

New Russian light jet artillery system. (Source: Sputnik) This is information shared by Mr. Alexander Kochkin, CEO of JSC NPK Techmash. “The lightweight MLRS system model was introduced to interested military authorities and received their support in principle. The military proposed a way to install this jet artillery in cars. As well as the missions placed on the system on the battlefield, the key to building this model is the S-8 type unmanned missile, “Kochkin said. He noted that at present, related businesses are actively conducting research work, which defines the technical structure of the new MLRS system, from which it will fabricate and test samples of the system. According to Alexander Kochkin, “the review of the test results, the development of feasible proposals to continue the work and the form of implementation of those options, as well as the funding expected to be completed by 2022” . NPO SPLAV is the developer and manufacturer of all Russian series jet artillery systems – proven MLRS systems such as Grad, Uragan and Smerch, as well as the state-of-the-art Tornado-S and Tornado-G. So far the minimum size of the MLRS system produced in Russia is 122 mm. The S-8 is a Russian unmanned missile with the size of 80 mm. The ammunition is designed to be launched from helicopters and aircraft to strike ground targets. The missile has many different warheads weighing from 3 to 9 kg and can destroy both infantry, armored vehicles as well as entrenched enemy structures. (According to Sputnik)

In order to officially put into operation, the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board has cooperated closely with the consultant, contractors and related parties to ensure the quality of tunneling machines and related work. assessment before construction.

It is known that, compared to conventional tunneling methods, TBM drilling method is said to minimize the impact of traffic, occupy less area or affect surrounding constructions. Because soil can be collected and transported after excavation, this method causes less dust, vibration and noise compared to other tunneling methods. This construction method is environmentally friendly.

In the process of Hai Ba Trung Electricity deploying and installing the transformer station on Minh Khai street (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) at the approved location, a number of unknown objects appeared obstructing the construction. …
Reflecting on the Capital Security hotline, Mr. Le Dung, Deputy Director of Hai Ba Trung Power Company (Hanoi), said to deploy the construction of a transformer station to ensure stable electricity supply to the people. in the area of Minh Khai ward; ensuring synchronization with the project of opening Ring Road 2, Hai Ba Trung Power has coordinated with functional departments of Hai Ba Trung District People’s Committee, Minh Khai Ward People’s Committee to review some construction sites of transformer stations, in there is transformer station No. 19 (located on the pavement of Minh Khai street, located between two house numbers 92 and 94).

“The installation of these transformer stations is based on the Hanoi Electricity Development Plan and the actual needs of the people and businesses in the area. Because, after the project paving the way is completed, the number of high-rise buildings on the road surface will increase sharply, leading to an increase in electricity demand, without upgrading the substations, it will not be able to meet the electricity demand during the season. Next summer ”- Mr. Le Dung analyzed.

The location of the transformer station on the sidewalk of Minh Khai street, 3.9 meters from the edge of the house

According to the Deputy Director of Hai Ba Trung Power Company, on the route, there are 7 transformer stations located on the line, up to now, there have been 4 stations with completed construction of underground parts; install the equipment in accordance with the approved positions, in which there is transformer station No. 19.

In the process of choosing the location of these stations, Hai Ba Trung Power has worked and agreed with the ward authorities; District; functional departments of the People’s Committee of Hai Ba Trung district and the unit managing the ring road 2 investment project.

“Ring road 2 is under urgent construction. The technical infrastructure related to the route must also be constructed synchronously to avoid the project being excavated again after completion. Therefore, the power sector has actively implemented the installation of transformer stations, both to ensure the power supply requirements in the coming period as well as synchronize with the Ring Road 2 project “- Mr. Dung said.

However, on April 12, 2021, at the location of the above-mentioned 19 transformer station, Hai Ba Trung Electricity checked and discovered that the transformer station’s cover was covered with a blue nylon canvas.

More seriously, at 9pm on April 14, 2021, when the above-mentioned canvas was removed to continue the construction and installation of equipment and accessories for the station, the construction unit of Hai Ba Trung Electricity had a number of unknown objects obstruct and prevent construction. In order to avoid possible complications, Hai Ba Trung Electricity had to suspend construction.

It is necessary to urgently support the complete construction of the transformer station on Minh Khai street, promptly operate it for the people of the summer of 2021.

According to the plan approved by the Hanoi Electricity Corporation, we will have to complete the construction, energize and put the substation into operation before April 23, 2021 to promptly serve the people in the Summer peak 2021. Therefore, to meet this requirement, we have sent a written request to the People’s Committees of Minh Khai and CAP Minh Khai wards to coordinate and support Hai Ba Trung Electricity in ensuring security and order. , safe for the construction force of the unit “- Mr. Le Dung said.

Regarding the above incident, Mr. Trinh Le Duc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Minh Khai ward (Hai Ba Trung district) said that the ward has grasped it. However, according to the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Minh Khai ward, up to now, the ward has not received any letter or feedback from the people about the location of the transformer station mentioned above.

“Initial review shows that the installation of transformer stations of the power sector is in accordance with the planning and actual needs of the locality as well as the current regulations. In the process of choosing the location of the station, the power sector has discussed, worked with and agreed with the concerned units and the ward People’s Committee.

Regarding the objects obstructing the construction, we received information from the electricity sector and assigned a comrade Vice Chairman of the ward People’s Committee, urban officials and the ward police force to coordinate and support the application. The developer will complete the energizing construction stage in the coming time, ensuring security and order in the area “- Mr. Trinh Le Duc said.

The North Stream 2 – the node point in trans-Atlantic relations and Russia-U.S. tensions, could become a card to be negotiated to defus current tensions in eastern Ukraine.

Northern Currents 2 and the situation in eastern Ukraine

Escalating tensions in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine and the construction of the gas pipeline project from Russia to Germany are the most de disagreements in the security policy of Europe – the Atlantic today. Each issue has its own stalemate. However, contacting these two issues together will expand the negotiating space and create opportunities for stakeholders, as well as can lead to a solution that is in the interests of all parties.

The pipelines are used for the construction of the Northern Flow 2 project at Mukran Port. Photo: Reuters

Russia has now strengthened its forces on its border with Ukraine, accusing Kiev of conducting “not one but many provocative acts.” Meanwhile, Ukraine urged Russia to withdraw its troops from the border area and end what Kiev called “military fallacies and misinformation.” NATO and the US also demanded that Russia stop gathering troops near its border with Ukraine and called the current situation “deeply concerning.”

Efforts through the Minsk agreement and the progress of the Normandy Quartet (made up of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine) to resolve the conflict between the parties in eastern Ukraine failed.

U.S. sanctions on The North Stream 2 delayed the construction of the project but “everything has its price.” The gas pipeline project was a source of tension between the U.S. and Germany at a time when the relationship needed to be strengthened. Of course, the sanctions on the North Stream 2 also deepen the rifts in Russian-American relations.

According to The Atlantic Council, the new approach when linking these two issues together can bring many opportunities. Therefore, Northern Flow 2 can be used as a bargaining card to ensure a more important goal: It is to address the current escalating tensions in eastern Ukraine.

Russia will not ignore if conflict breaks out in eastern Ukraine. Moscow will not withdraw its troops from the border area until it sees the benefits of this action. Therefore, putting The Northern Flow 2 on the negotiating table can bring the possibility of changing the current situation.

Cards that change the situation in eastern Ukraine?

The Northern Flow 2 is an important project for Russia and Germany but it is still an agreement that has not been finalized even though the work has been completed by 95%. Even if construction can be completed by the end of the year as planned, U.S. sanctions in December 2020 when it comes into effect will prevent insurers and inspection companies from carrying out the necessary procedures for this pipeline to actually come into operation.

Recently, the European Parliament also called for an end to this project. France’s Minister for European Issues even suggested it was possible to end the Northern Flow project as a response to the poisoning of opposition figures Navalny.

With these developments, observer Colin Cleary suggested that Russia would likely bring an end to the strengthening of its forces on the border with Ukraine in exchange for ensuring the Northern Flow agreement would continue to operate.

The Covid-19 epidemic and falling energy prices have increased the financial burden on Russia. However, sanctions alone will not be able to persuade Russia to withdraw from eastern Ukraine. Only the mitigation of sanctions related to the North Stream 2 can make Russia make concessions because the move can be understood as part of an effort to bring about more normal economic relations between Russia and the West.

The U.S. has repeatedly opposed the North Stream 2. However, the moment decided it all. If the former Trump administration is really serious about ending the North Stream 2, it should have stopped the project from the summer of 2017, when the Anti-Enemy of America through Sanctions (CAATSA) bill became law and the construction of The Northern Flow 2 has not yet begun. The U.S. missed that moment.

Until December 2019, the U.S. Congress passed mandatory sanctions related to ships constructing the Northern Flow 2. Swiss pipeline installation company Allseas immediately withdrew from the project, but by this time the Northern Flow 2 had largely been completed.

Meanwhile, Russia demanded that Ukraine respect the “special status” with the Eastern region but that would destroy Ukraine’s status as a country. Unless something is placed on the negotiating table, such as turning on the green lightor the North Stream 2 or economic and trade prospects for Russia, otherwise the Kremlin will not make concessions in this regard.

Observer Colin Cleary, who served as Director of European Energy Diplomacy in the U.S. State Department, said the agreement to bring the Northern Flow 2 in exchange for targets in Donbass would serve the interests of all parties. If the Kremlin rejects the offer, the path of “many sticks, fewer carrots” will open./.
