The top right corner is still the LED flash, while the lower left corner is the microphone. The design language of the device remains unchanged with 4 square frames, 2 flat glass surfaces similar to the iPhone 12 series. The camera can be folded diagonally instead of straight like previous generations. In the video on hand the iPhone 13 Pro model is channeled Macotakara Sharing, the machine’s hole length is 26.8 mm, while the iPhone 12 Pro is 34.83 mm, about 22% shorter. Based on the model, Apple will move the speakerphone to the top edge while pushing the remaining sensors lower. The camera on the iPhone 13 has the potential for better zoom capabilities, the ultra-wide-angle camera is improved to capture better nights than the iPhone 12. Meanwhile, the LiDAR depth sensor will be available for all four versions. In early May, the model of iPhone 13 Pro Max due to the channel Unbox Therapy Share shows that the rear camera cluster is larger than the previous one, implying that the camera on the machine will be upgraded. Many users are expecting the Touch ID fingerprint sensor feature back in the iPhone 13. Many users are expecting the Touch ID fingerprint sensor feature that could be brought back to the iPhone 13 by Apple and placed under the screen. According to the CNET This feature was once rumored on the iPhone 12 line, but the official product is only equipped with Face ID facial recognition. If not integrated into the screen, Apple can embed Touch ID into the power button similar to the iPad Air 2020. “Super leaker” Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the iPhone 13 Pro Max version will remove the Lightning connection port, switch to the MagSafe wireless standard to charge and transfer data. The rest of the iPhone 13 models still use the Lightning port. This is Apple’s long-rumored plan, the rumor of it appearing more after MagSafe came equipped with the iPhone 12 last year.

British designer Ben Vessey has just released a collection of smart wallpapers to help users track and save battery for iPhone.
Normally, the battery icon of the iPhone is very small, so it can easily lead to users often forgetting to track battery consumption. For this reason, Ben Vessey’s wallpapers are designed with the ability to self-change to notify users about the battery status of the device.

Wallpaper set has 6 different designs, sold on the author’s website for about 6 USD for 2 designs. The wallpaper above is inspired by the Apple Face ID icon. When the battery is full, the wallpaper will be a smiling face with blue rings around. Conversely, tired face with red ring will appear when the battery is below 20%. In the charge state, the wallpaper becomes an unexpected face with golden rays of electricity. The first set of wallpapers with 3 shades designed by Ben Vessey. Ben Vessey also designed an apple-shaped wallpaper. Wallpaper will show apple (intact, not bitten in half) when full battery and apple core shape when battery is depleted, simple smiley face is between 20% – 100% battery and a frown face with battery short. All designs are very simple and easy to understand. Ben Vessey shared, the design of 6 smart wallpapers helps solve two main problems. One is that in case the user plugs the charger cord incorrectly so the phone will not recognize the battery, then with smart wallpaper, users will easily detect it. The second problem is that smart wallpapers will report low battery status. “When using the phone, our subconscious mind often ignores the low battery warning of the device. My designs will help users avoid that situation, ”shared Ben Vessey. The second set of backgrounds are highlighted with apples. Previously, according to predictions from some technology experts, the new-generation iPhone products can be equipped with Pro Motion technology, 120 Hz refresh rate and 15-20% lower power consumption than iPhone 12. Specifically, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models will be equipped with LTPO energy-saving screen technology. This screen technology has appeared on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Oppo Find X3 Pro. The LTPO display can automatically adjust the scan frequency based on the content being played. For example, when the user is playing games or watching action movies, the screen will increase the refresh rate to 120 Hz. When the user is not in use, the screen of the machine will automatically reduce the scanning frequency to lower, helping to save battery power. According to some leaked sources, Samsung and LG Display are in the process of converting production from LTPS to LTPO screens, which could be completed in the first half of 2021. However, there are opinions that capacity to make LTPO screens lower than LTPS because companies have to add some manufacturing processes.

Apple’s search for an electric car maker might come to an end with the option of a joint venture between LG and Magna.
According to the Korea TimesLG Electronics and auto maker Magna International will form a joint venture to produce electric cars for Apple.

The newly formed company may be called LG Magna e-Powertrain with a capital investment of $ 1 billion with the main manufacturing areas of electric vehicle engines, frequency converters and chargers. LG will hold a 51% stake and the Canadian auto company will own 49%.

The formal agreement can be signed this July after being reviewed and approved by LG’s shareholders.

Previously, LG announced its withdrawal from the phone business to focus on other areas such as electric vehicle components, connected devices, smart home, robotics, artificial intelligence, B2B solutions for businesses, and several other platforms and services.

LG and Magna could work together to make electric cars for Apple. Photo: Korea Times.

Source of Korea Times commented that LG currently does not have too much experience in the field of cars or electric vehicles. The selection of the Apple Car electric vehicle project is for the Korean giant to demonstrate its transformation efforts.

The deep relationship between Apple and LG is said to be an important factor in bringing these two corporations to a cooperation agreement in the automotive sector. Apple is currently a partner of many LG subsidiaries such as LG Display, LG Chem, LG Energy Solution and LG Innotek.

In addition, LG has played a role in supplying engines, battery packs and components for electric vehicles of General Motors and Tesla. Magna has many years of experience in providing technology solutions for many car manufacturers.

Representatives from LG currently declined to comment on the information Korea Times.

Since the beginning of 2021, Apple is said to have been looking for partners to research and manufacture self-propelled electric cars. Initially, Hyundai and Kia were the first two names to sit at the negotiating table with Apple and were unsuccessful. Then, it was reported that Apple had contacted six Japanese carmakers, but the results were not better.
