The Israeli-owned Hyperion vessel was attacked off the UAE coast, according to CHANNEL 12, which was launched from Iran.

According to Al-Mayadeen, the ship suffered minor damage. Israeli tv channel 12 on the same day cited security sources as reporting that the missile had been launched by Iran.

According to Channel 12, several unnamed Israeli officials accused Iran of carrying out the attack.

The incident comes just days after Tehran blamed Israel for conducting a “nuclear terrorist attack” on Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility that caused a power outage and threatened “revenge.”

Channel 12 also reported that Israeli security agencies are preparing for the possibility of Iran carrying out a retaliatory attack, raising security alerts at the country’s embassies around the world.

On the same day, the UK’s Sea Transport Coordination Agency (UKMTO) announced that an incident was likely to occur off the uae coast of Fujeirah.

In relation to the developments, UKMTO said it was conducting investigations.
