The Iron Dome system tested to intercept missiles. (Photo broadcast by VNA) The Times of Israel on June 15 reported that Israel Defense Forces (IDF) deployed several Iron Dome missile defense batteries near Jerusalem, before the anniversary parade Jerusalem Day takes place. The parade, originally scheduled for May 10, was postponed due to the 11-day Israel-Gaza military conflict. The parade, scheduled to start at 6pm on June 15 (Israel time), is one of the issues that threaten to escalate tensions between Israel and Palestine. In a related development, clashes broke out between a group of Palestinian protesters and IDF soldiers at the Gaza border. A Palestinian is said to have been shot in the leg and suffered minor injuries. Hamas Movement threatened to resume missile strikes on Israel if the parade continued. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on June 15 that dozens of Palestinians were gassed with tear gas when the Israeli army attacked a crowd protesting against a march that was about to take place in Jerusalem. According to WAFA, the Israeli military fired tear gas and hurled stun grenades at protesters at the entrance to the town of al-Ram in Northeast Jerusalem. In addition, the Israeli army also attacked and drove away Palestinian protesters at the Bab al-Amoud area (also known as the Damascus gate), one of the gates to the Old City of Jerusalem. At least two Palestinians were arrested in the incident.

The Kurganets-25 is a new generation of armored fighting vehicles designed to replace the BMP-2 and MT-LB vehicles in motorized units of the Russian army. With outstanding power in firepower, electronic weapons and mobility, this is considered one of the best multi-purpose armored vehicles in the world.
The military parade on May 9 in Russia’s Red Square had the participation of many weapons that have undergone major modernization. Among them is the promising armored fighting vehicle on the Kurganets-25 platform – this year for the first time appeared in public with the BM “Epoch” turret. Its main feature is armed with a 57 mm automatic cannon, which is effective against both light armored vehicles and small UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles).

From the observations of analyst Andrey Kots, it can be seen that the Russians displayed a new variant of the Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicle with the 57 mm BM “Epoch” turret – different from the 30 mm cannon in the reviews. former soldiers. According to analyst Ryabov Kirill, the LShO-57 differs from the well-known 57 mm 2A91 cannon in a number of features including a shorter barrel (barrel length 40 times the size) and no recoil compensation. This design makes the ballistics more stretchable, but at the same time, it also requires the development of new ammunition such as fragmentation explosive ammunition (suitable for the requirements of anti-UAV combat as mentioned above) and armor-piercing ammunition. Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicle parade The Kurganets-25 is a new generation of armored fighting vehicles designed to replace the BMP-2 and MT-LB vehicles in motorized units of the Russian army. This will promise to be a line of weapons that will glorify the Russian armored forces. The Kurganets-25 is heavily armed with a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon with 500 rounds, or a 57mm caliber 2A91 cannon with 200 rounds, in addition to a 7.62mm PKT coaxial machine gun, anti-tank missiles with Kornet-EM remote control, thermobaric grenade launcher. Infantry fighting vehicle Kurganets-25 In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a meteorological reconnaissance system, 2 photoelectric target reconnaissance systems and missile guidance that significantly improve the combat capability of this armored vehicle. The body of the vehicle is also fitted with 16 grenade launchers and 4 sensors of the Afghanit “hard pressure” system to help the vehicle have excellent defense against infantry and laser-guided weapons. A light on the turret could also be part of an active defense system against second-generation guided anti-tank missiles.

Each mummy was placed on a private car decorated elaborately, accompanied by convoys, music, lights and horses. The “Golden Parade of the Pharaohs” will travel along the Nile and then to Egypt’s first Islamic capital, Al-Fustat, in the old Cairo area, and then to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Photo: CBS The group of mummies participating in the parade includes 18 kings, four queens of ancient Egypt’s 17th to 20th dynasties, about 3,100 to 3,500 years ago. Most mummified fish have been found in two archaeological sites at Luxor in the late 1800s. Over the course of more than 3,000 years, these kings and queens have been transferred from tomb to tomb, from capital to capital, from museum to museum. Many people hope that after the April 2 parade, they will be at peace. According to analysts, the upcoming parade is underway as a way to restore interest in Egyptian tourism in the midst of a global recovery in tourism. Many Egyptians, including the government of this country, want the event to go well. The entire parade will be broadcast online by the Ministry of Tourism of this country.

Egypt’s capital Cairo is preparing for a golden parade of ancient Pharaohs and queens on a rare move over the years.
The parade takes place to move ancient Egyptian royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the recently inaugurated National Egyptian Civilization Museum.

It is expected that people will move about 22 mummies, including 18 kings and four half emperors, dating from the 17, 18, 19 and 20 dynasties. Ancient mummies will be paraded through the streets of Cairo in the scene of brilliant fireworks, sound and light shows, and honor cars, and the cavalry will also accompany the mummy. Why did Egypt suddenly move dozens of ancient mummies? Among these displaced mummies are the famous mummy of King Sequenenre, who began the war of liberation against the Hyksos, Queen Hatshepsut, owner of the magnificent temple Deir Al-Bahari in Luxor and King. Ramesses II, the great pharaoh of the New Kingdom. Before departing, the mummies will be placed inside special containers filled with nitrogen, with storage conditions similar to those on display in museums. Each barrel is then loaded onto a private carriage decorated in ancient Egyptian style and carried in order from oldest to youngest. Upon arrival at the Egyptian Civilization Museum, the mummies will be recovered in the laboratory for nearly 15 days in preparation for installation inside the new galleries. At the Egyptian Civilization Museum, the mummies are placed in the Royal Mummy Room, decorated to resemble the valley of the kings, the area where their tombs were originally located. The ‘Golden Parade of the Pharaohs’ is said to be a splendid festival along the Nile, celebrating Egypt’s rich heritage and attracting visitors back after a tough year. Archaeologist Zahi Hawass, former minister of Egyptian Antiquities, said: “This parade will make all Egyptians proud of the country”. Hoang Dung (translation)

According to the Reuters , the mummies of 18 kings and four queens, mainly from the New Kingdom of Egypt, were transferred from the Egyptian Museum in the center of Tahrir Square (Cairo) to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.

For the procession of the mummies to the new “home”, the authorities closed the streets along the Nile. The convoy passed through the main roads in Cairo, and was greeted with 21 cannons when reaching the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. This museum also officially opened yesterday, April 3. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was present at the welcome ceremony. The convoy carrying 22 Egyptian pharaohs went along the capital Cairo. These casks were placed on sturdy golden wagons to minimize shaking. “We chose the Civilization Museum because we wanted to display the mummies scientifically, not just for viewing as in the Egyptian Museum,” Mr. Hawass said. Car carrying the mummy of King Ramesses V. Photo: Reuters The mummies were discovered during two excavations in 1871 at Deir Al Bahari in Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. The oldest mummy is Seqenenre Tao, the last king of the 17th Dynasty, who reigned in the 16th century BC and is believed to have died. In addition, in the “parade” group there are mummies of Ramses II, Seti I and Ahmose-Nefertari. In recent weeks, Egypt has experienced a series of unfortunate incidents – including the congestion of the Suez Canal, a fatal train crash, a garment factory fire and a building collapse. apartment. These incidents “revive” the myth of the “curse of the pharaoh”. However, with 18 ancient kings and four queens finally settling down in the new and spacious home, perhaps no one will ever repeat the goosebumps again.

Dozens of new Iranian military UAVs appeared during the National Army Day parade. Among these are UAVs that can be suitable for a variety of tasks, from simple suicide attacks, to surveillance or precision attacks.
At the parade, there was the new Kaman-22 reconnaissance and attack UAV in 2021 of the Iranian Air Force and the Kaman-12 UAV model produced from 2019.

Older UAV models such as the Qods Mohajer-6 developed in 2017, the Yasirr and HESA Karar reconnaissance UAVs, often used in firing drills, were also on display during this year’s parade. In addition to the domestically produced UAV collection, guided missile systems such as the Damavand long-range missile and the Zolfaqar short and low-range missile systems also appeared at the parade. Iran’s goal of becoming a UAV powerhouse in the region of Iran is significantly limited due to international sanctions. Iran relies heavily on copying foreign UAVs, collecting debris from neighboring countries or from UAVs shot down in Iran. UAVs are not the only sector where the defense industry has made progress in recent decades. Iran currently produces small weapons, aircraft warships, missiles … Among these, the ballistic missile program is a concern for Israel and the US. The US believes that Iran’s ballistic missile program should be limited like its nuclear program. However, Tehran asserted that its ballistic missile program poses no threat to the United States, due to its limited range.
