London, June 23, 2021

“This series of exhibitions is to show the power and charm of self-expression, and to praise creativity, we break free from imprisonment and gather together.

Music has always inspired me. It can make thoughts go unconstrained—cross borders and connect you with time, space, and others. Music plays an important role in my life, just like the soundtrack and energy of running, it is full of my youth. Many of my memories are related to music. They bring me back to an incredible moment when I was discovering myself-my voice, my identity, my creativity-sharing my experiences with friends or even strangers . It’s like embarking on a common journey, walking side by side with others based on a collective sense of openness, acceptance, and opportunity.

I hope this series can capture the free spirit of youth and the sincere and brave attitude, the feeling of eagerness and spirit. There is a strong sense of unity, as well as outstanding personalities-mutual motivation and progress, and free expression of oneself. This is a very primitive energy, infectious, inspiring, full of vitality, like an awakening. ”

—— Riccardo Tisci, Chief Creative Director of Burberry

To create the 2022 spring and summer menswear collection, Burberry Chief Creative Director Riccardo Tisci condensed the emotion of freedom and unity into a force that inspires and connects each other. It is this force that makes us feel more energetic. This fashion show focuses on the strength of the spirit and the energy released by music and dynamism, creating wonderful moments that gather the positive energy of youth. The series of exhibitions were shot outdoors, and a large area of sand forms a visual collision with the minimalist and rugged urban architecture of Millennium Mills at Royal Victoria Dock in East London. The model is confidently shuttled across the venue, with personality, boldness and distinctiveness. The new series firmly and sincerely interprets what is free expression, trying to challenge traditional norms, presenting a fluid texture, creating rebellious imitation perforated accessories, and black leather neck-wrap vests, jackets and shorts, full of youthful creativity. Full of sexy temperament. Tailor-made products and outerwear products are also designed with sleeveless flowing silhouettes and decorated with abstract printed patterns. The theme of the new series “Universal Passport” is also displayed in sleeveless mesh T-shirts and cotton shirts, and further explores the message conveyed by the series: connection and exploration. The background soundtrack of the series is from the British electronic music duo Shpongle. The blurred music brings more revellers together, and the music lingers in the entire space, making it detached. The soundtrack allows people to transcend the daily routine, creating an open and unrestrained space atmosphere, where people connect with each other, praise unlimited creativity, and are permeated with youthful vitality. Burberry has always supported the spirit of community and free expression, so Riccardo Tisci planned an energetic fashion release in order to jointly explore a new and unknown space. 【Edit Notes】 About the creative team · Style: Ib Kamara · Makeup: Isamaya Ffrench, Burberry Global Beauty Director · Hairstyle: Jawara · Choreography: Josh Johnson and Marquet Lee · Director: Partel Oliva About music · In the Burberry 2022 spring and summer menswear collection, Riccardo Tisci paid tribute to the electronic music duo Shpongle, choosing its music “Strange Planet” as the background soundtrack. · Shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music group from the United Kingdom, founded in 1996. · The members of the group are Simon Posford (also known as Hallucinogen) and Raja Ram (one of the three members of The Infinity Project). · This duo is considered one of the pioneers of the psybient music genre, combining world music with a psychedelic atmosphere. About the model · We are convinced that it is important to pay tribute to and show diversity in advertising campaigns and fashion shows.
The view over Gutuevskaia Bay. June 5, 2021, the 110th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 – June 5, 2021). On that journey, Nguyen Ai Quoc soon realized the significance of historical events in the Soviet Union (formerly) and the Russian October Revolution, in order to bring the cause of Vietnam’s national liberation struggle to life. in the footsteps of the times. Today, at St. Petersburg port, we can’t help but feel excited, moved and feel more clearly about the place where he first set foot in Russia. Saint Petersburg at the end of May it still rained a lot. Honey-colored sunlight broke through thick clouds, illuminating the golden church domes. The wind was blowing, causing the canal surface to ripple and rush against the wall. Along the banks of the Neva River, we stopped at a small pier, from here, the motorboat took us to the place where the young Nguyen Ai Quoc first arrived in the Soviet Union on June 30, 1923. According to the book “Activities of Nguyen Ai Quoc in the Soviet Union (1923-1938)” of the National Political Publishing House – Truth, when he was sent by the Central Committee of the French Communist Party to the Soviet Union to attend the Communist International Congress, Nguyen Ai Quoc had to prepare very carefully to leave Paris secretly, because at that time going from France to the Soviet Union was extremely dangerous. Nguyen Ai Quoc wrote a number of articles for the newspapers of the French Communist Party to make people think that he was still in France, and at the same time always appeared idle, not participating in any political activities. Go to work in the morning, go to the library or museum in the afternoon, go to the movies in the evening. Gradually, secret agents no longer needed to follow in the footsteps of Nguyen Ai Quoc. At that time, because of the danger, the only way from Paris to Moscow was through Germany. On the evening of June 13, 1923, as always, Nguyen Ai Quoc bought tickets for the last movie screening. Halfway through, he left the theater, quickly got off the subway to the train station in the north of Paris. Here, a French comrade gave Uncle a small suitcase that was the only luggage to secretly leave Paris. Nguyen Ai Quoc took the train from Paris to Berlin (Germany). The Soviet Government’s representative office in Berlin carried out procedures for people to enter Russia. On June 27, 1923, Nguyen Ai Quoc, with a passport bearing the name Chen Vang, was taken off the ship Cac Lipnech, leaving Hamburg. On June 30, 1923, Nguyen Ai Quoc arrived at the port of Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg). Captain A. Marozov, an employee of the Port Authority of Saint Petersburg, took us near the Gulf of Gutuevskai, where Mr. Marozov commented, that Uncle Ho arrived 98 years ago. “Did Ho Chi Minh docked at Pier 7?” he asked us again. After receiving a nod, his eyes drifted to the bay: “So this is the place.” The ship carrying us drifted slowly in the middle of the Gulf of Gutuevskai. On one side, ships anchored, the other side was embanked with old rectangular brown bricks. A large board prohibiting ships from anchoring hung on the wall. At the corner of the bay revealed a sandy shore. A large warehouse with a steel roof turned brown, lying with its back to the train “standing still” on the shore. The small yellow flowers on the pile of bricks make the scene more impressive. Pointing to the sandy shore, Mr. Marozov seemed regretful that he could only help us visualize the place where Uncle Ho first set foot in the Soviet Union. “It’s all been too long. No one remembers specifically how the ship landed and where exactly Uncle Ho got off,” he said. Standing on the train, we tried to imagine the scene nearly 100 years ago, so that we could feel everything around Uncle at that time. Unfortunately, things have changed now, but Vice Chairman of the Green Foreign Affairs Committee Peter V. Canganov affirmed that the walls built more than 100 years ago are still there. something that Nguyen Ai Quoc also saw when he first set foot in Russia. Mr. Canganov added that in the coming time, the city will speed up the project of erecting a statue of President Ho Chi Minh in St. Petersburg, as well as continue to study and document these events. where Nguyen Ai Quoc used to live and work. Captain Marozov looked towards the old embankment, recalling stories about Uncle Ho that he had heard from his childhood. I don’t know how many times the man with the silver hair had crossed the bay, but this time gave him a different feeling. Today’s “pier 7″ suddenly becomes more special, imbued with history. “Two years from now, it will be the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s first arrival in Russia. The people of St. Petersburg are waiting to organize big events,” said Mr. He also suggested that the Vietnamese side propose to install a sign in the bay, so that people can better understand the story of President Ho Chi Minh’s arrival at St. Petersburg in his journey to find the way to liberate the Vietnamese people. . Posts and photos: QUE ANH, THANH TH Reporter of People’s Newspaper resident in Russia

These vaccine certificates are expected to be digitized for display on smartphones, however a paper version should still be available. In addition, visitors must also receive vaccines that have been recognized by the EU. If you come from a “safe” country according to the EU’s assessment and complete 2 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure, you will be exempted from isolation or testing when you arrive in Europe. Currently, only seven non-EU countries are on this list, including Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and China. However, this list will be added and published in a few days.

Not only is it a strange condition, it is also an extremely rare disease that happened to a family in Bangladesh. At least 4 generations in the same family have no fingerprints.
Apu Sarker (aka Apu), 22 years old, currently living in Rajshahi district (Bangladesh) is one of the family members suffering from the absence of fingerprints. The men in Apu’s family, father, grandfather, brother all suffer from the same extremely rare disease.

The story begins with Apu’s grandfather. At that time, the problem of not having a fingerprint was not considered a serious matter. Until now, the disease was considered a condition that could only be found in a few families worldwide. Speaking to the BBC, Apu said: “At that time, my family and I did not think the problem of not having fingerprints would be inherited and affect future generations.” For decades, fingerprints have been considered the most collected biometric data in the world. Fingerprints are used in many fields, from airport check-in to voting, smartphone opening and Identity verification. No fingerprints: it doesn’t seem to affect the body, but it leads to many inadequacies In 2008, when Apu was a child, the Bangladeshi government adopted a national identification card for all adults and the database required fingerprints. Since there were no fingerprints, the staff stamped the line. “NO FINGERPRINT” (NO FINGER) on Apu’s card. Apu’s fingertips have no fingerprints. Photo: BBC In 2010, fingerprints were required for passports and driver’s licenses in India. After several attempts, Apu was able to obtain a passport by presenting a certificate from the medical board. However, Apu never used it, partly out of fear of problems he might run into at the airport. Moreover, motorbike is a necessary means of transportation to work, Apu has not yet been granted a driver’s license. “I paid the fee, passed the exam but they didn’t give me the degree because I couldn’t provide my fingerprints,” Apu said. Because of the problem of not having a driver’s license, Apu often had to pay fines when the traffic police checked the papers. Despite bringing medical documents to prove her condition, Apu still did not receive sympathy and had to pay a fine. However, the trouble did not stop there. In 2016, the Indian government required fingerprint authentication against the national database to purchase sim cards for mobile phones. And of course, Apu can’t match because it doesn’t have a fingerprint. Currently, Apu and other men in the family are using Apu’s mother’s phone sim. Anu Sarker, Apu’s younger brother, also had a problem with no fingerprints. Photo: BBC Findings from research on this extremely rare condition A rare condition that affects the Apu family is called Adermatoglyphia. This condition first became known in 2007 when Peter Itin, a Swiss dermatologist, was contacted by a woman in the country who informed her that she was having difficulty entering the US. The girl was 20 years old at the time, her face matched the photo on her passport but customs officers could not take her fingerprints because she did not have one. On examination, Professor Itin discovered that the girl and eight other members of her family had the same strange condition – flat fingers and decreased number of sweat glands in the hands. Working with other collaborators Professor Itin examined the DNA of 16 family members. The results show that 7 people have fingerprints and 9 people do not. The condition is isolated and rare, reported in only a few families worldwide, Professor Itin said. In 2011, Itin’s team conducted research on the SMARCAD1 gene and found that the gene was mutated in nine non-fingerprint members of the woman’s family. This is the cause of the absence of fingerprints. However, at that time, the gene problem was not studied in depth and the condition did not affect the health of the sufferer other than affecting the hands. After the discovery, the researchers took the name Adermatoglyphia to name this condition. Adermatoglyphia affects several generations in a family and is hereditary because it is caused by a genetic mutation. Professor Itin determined the status of the Apu family could be secondary Adermatoglyphia. However, more genetic testing and research is needed to confirm it. Recently, after completing the procedure and presenting medical documents, Apu received a new type of identification card issued by the Bangladesh government. This type of card uses retina scan and facial recognition data to verify identity. However, Apu has yet to obtain a driver’s license or buy a sim card and the process of obtaining a passport remains a dilemma for him.

Photo The Local France The deployment of “vaccine passports” to facilitate people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 to travel abroad has been promoted by many countries, considered one of the measures to help open up the “airborne industry”. smoke” in the context of a pandemic. However, it is still necessary to consider how to implement it to ensure safety and not create sensitive issues. In the context of widespread vaccination campaigns, debates are also heating up about how to revive the international tourism industry that has been heavily affected by the pandemic. Canadian Health Minister P. Hagiu said the Government of Canada supports the concept of a “vaccine passport” and will introduce a form of certification that will facilitate those who enter the country. Canada has been vaccinated against Covid-19 to be allowed to travel internationally. The UK also plans to regulate the National Health Service phone app, which will act as a digital testing and vaccination verification tool. British sports federations support the use of “vaccine passports” in the hope that stadiums will be filled with spectators again. Israel is considering making the Green Pass, which allows vaccinated Israelis to go to restaurants, gyms, concerts and sporting events, into effect. with international travel. The World Health Organization (WHO) is working on the Smart Immunization Certificate. However, several governments and civil society organizations expressed concerns about individual privacy as the discussion about digital passports unfolded. The administration of US President G. Baidon has confirmed it will not promote mandatory vaccination certificates because of legal and sensitive issues. The European Union (EU) intends to allow the use of a certificate to show a person’s vaccination, Covid-19 test or proof of recovery. Technical work is underway to ensure that this certification is accepted by all 27 EU member states. Vaccines accepted across the bloc will be those approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Meanwhile, some vaccine countries from Russia or China can accept other vaccines if they want and are only allowed to issue “vaccine passports” within their territories. EU countries make their own decisions whether to accept “vaccine passports” for vaccines that have not yet been approved by the EU. However, European parliamentarians want to change the name of this document to “EU Covid-19 certificate” instead of “digital green certificate”, to avoid being interpreted as a kind of “vaccination passport”. -please”. The EU believes that this document should not be used as a travel document, nor should it become a prerequisite for the exercise of freedom of movement. In addition, EU countries have also agreed to combat discrimination against those who cannot or do not wish to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and allow them to conduct a series of tests to prove recovery. In Asia, the Japanese government intends to roll out a “vaccine passport” issued as a smartphone app. Passengers will scan QR codes at airports before boarding or entering Japan. The app connects to the Vaccination Record System, a government database of people who have been vaccinated. To avoid asking for a vaccination certificate that could lead to discrimination between vaccinated and unvaccinated people, “vaccine passports” contain a section stating a negative test result for SARS- CoV-2 and will also not be used in the case of domestic travel. Meanwhile, the Thai government has announced it will adopt a “vaccination passport”, or vaccination certificate, to be used as an official travel document for people who have been vaccinated. prevent Covid-19. The “vaccine passport” is seen as an outlet for many economic sectors. According to experts, digital vaccination certificates are especially useful for countries with good disease control, because it allows the economy to gradually reopen safely. However, this problem has increased the problem of fake “vaccine passports”. Cybersecurity experts warn that “vaccine passports” are being sold widely online. Meanwhile, to apply this special “passport” to international travel requires countries to be willing to share data. This is an issue that countries must continue to discuss to have an optimal solution.

The super-rich in Russia, China and Saudi Arabia are freely moving into Europe through the gaps in the program to ‘buy’ a Malta passport.
This loophole helps them get a so-called “Malta golden passport” that only has to stay in the country for less than 3 weeks, according to a leak from a passport brokerage firm, Guardian said April 22.

Thousands of emails and documents from the citizenship and citizenship consulting firm Henley & Partners have revealed an unprecedented “door” on the mechanism of the so-called “golden passport” program, in which countries are semi-national. citizenship for foreign giants. This revelation showed for the first time how some people buy Malta passports through a government investment program, allowing them to pretend they are “residing” in the country for a year by renting an apartment. then leave it blank. Two weeks to own a “golden passport” Officially known as the Individual Investor, this program is designed to attract wealthy investors and enrich the national budget. Eight years ago, Malta announced plans to “sell” passports making the European Union (EU) not satisfied. The EU authorities are concerned that “buyers” can travel freely within the EU and Schengen bloc as well as be able to travel to many countries without applying for a visa in advance. In January 2014, a spokesperson for the European Commission gave a speech contradicting the proposals and stressed that EU members should only provide passports to individuals with “real affiliation”. to their country. After two weeks, the issue was somewhat resolved when the Government of Malta released a joint statement announcing anyone “buying” Maltese citizenship would need to reside in the country for one year, while also demonstrating the authenticity of the relationship with their new home. However, Malta’s golden passport program does not specify “place of residence”. Government officials also eluded when asked about the ratio between those who applied for a 12-month period and those who would actually be present. Malta is a beautiful island nation located in the Mediterranean. Photo: Guardian. The vulnerability has allowed some customers, who pay more than 1 million euros under the program, to successfully confirm that they have an “authentic link” with Malta. What they need to do is just spend a few weeks there and do a few activities over the loudspeaker, such as yacht rental or donation to a local charity. Guardian reviewed 250 open letters clients sent to Henley explaining their intentions to Malta. Internal emails show customers constantly asking if they can spend less time here. In the case of a 2014 Middle East client, the representative even asked their manager if “would go to Malta in about 7-14 days (ie the minimum time period) to take a biometrics. study and register and receive card (residence) ”. “If it is not possible to visit for longer, opening a bank account, donating to local charities and becoming a member of a local club will help demonstrate the bond with the country,” the manager answer. This advice shows that instead of 12 months, it seems just two weeks is enough to get a “golden passport” here. “The applicant does not have to be present in that country,” advised a client. “However, in order to create an ‘authenticity link’, (the Malta government) would appreciate it with at least 14 days’ time.” Out of all 250 letters, the applicant’s average commitment to stay in Malta is 16 days. Two bedrooms for 12 people To demonstrate commitment to a new home, Malta “golden passport” applicants will be required to invest € 1.15 million in the country, including a purchase of at least a real estate. 350,000 euros or a 5-year rental for 80,000 euros. Passport of Malta. Photo: Loving Malta. Some properties are rented significantly smaller than the actual size required by the applicant’s family if they plan to live there. In one case, Chinese citizens even rented a two-bedroom apartment for 1,500 euros / month despite applying for citizenship for 12 people, including 6 children. A Maltese citizenship-seeking South African businessman refused to pay Henley an apartment management fee on the grounds that no one would visit it. “The apartment is not used, no one will be there in a year,” he complained in a letter to the company. Malta’s immigration regulatory loopholes have the potential to have serious consequences such as security risks, money laundering, tax evasion, corruption and the risk of escaping water criminals. outside of residence, traveling freely within the EU territory. The European Union Commission recently accused Malta of “selling” citizenship, allowing individuals with little or no connection to the EU. However, the Malta government denied any allegations that the country’s residency requirement was “fake”. It argued that “authentic links” are not defined in EU law and the government of Malta “sets the rules as well as makes the final decision on all citizenship applications”.

Coming up for the first long vacation after the third epidemic, everyone is talking about traveling.
It is easy to understand, because the third outbreak of COVID-19 broke out on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, many people had to stay at home, or even dare not go home. After Vietnam has curbed this epidemic, people feel secure to prepare to travel after a long series of “crazy legs”.

It can be said that the next ceremony of April 30 and May 1 will be the time of “slamming” for many Vietnamese. This is clearly shown through the numbers.

According to statistics of many major travel companies, the number of tourists booking tours has reached 50-60% and short-term tours still dominate with destinations such as Sa Pa, Ha Long, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Da Lat, Con Dao …

Sa Pa Tourism Association said that since the beginning of April 2021, rooms at accommodation establishments for 4 days of 30/4 holidays and 1/5 in Sa Pa have reached about 80%. Many establishments run out of rooms completely on this occasion.

Similarly, Vietravel has sold about 80% of its tour plans for the holidays of April 30 and May 1.

The epidemic COVID-19 is being well controlled, so the tourist spots are almost overloaded on the weekends. Meanwhile, many resorts, homsestay, 3-4 star hotels in Da Lat, Vung Tau, Phan Thiet … announced their room out at the holidays of April 30 and May 1. The airlines also announced “burned” air tickets this holiday.

It can be said that April 30 and May 1 are the first long break, opening the domestic tourism summer and also a golden opportunity for the tourism industry to recover and take off after more than a year of hardships for COVID- 19.

In the summer of 2021, the golden time of domestic tourism is because Vietnam has well controlled the epidemic and the demand for tourism has been compressed for more than a year, waiting for a “boom” moment. If before COVID-19, the domestic tourism market had to share a lot of money to choose to travel abroad, now, this 90 million population market is almost a piece of domestic tourism.

Facing such a great opportunity, the domestic tourism industry needs to make the most of the new difficult opportunity to retain this large number of tourists in the long run. For a long time, some tourist resorts have been doing business in a “snatch” style, only worrying about the immediate benefits, worrying about withdrawing money from visitors without regard to service attitude and service quality. For a long time, a number of tourist spots that are used to welcoming Western tourists have a lot of money and have a “chaste” attitude towards domestic tourists.

If we keep the same way, it is difficult to take advantage and keep the upcoming golden opportunity. It should be understood that at least in the year period, the tourism industry will inevitably still have to rely largely on domestic tourists.

Whether the program “Vietnamese to travel to Vietnam” has been maintained for a long time, creating a habit for domestic tourists or not, it all depends on the stakeholders involved in the tourism industry. If not, as long as the pandemic ends in many countries, a large number of Vietnamese tourists will pull suitcases to travel abroad. There are places where the natural scenery cannot be as beautiful as Vietnam, but the travel service is sure to satisfy them more.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese tourism industry still has to find ways to welcome international tourists while ensuring not to “catch” even the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Countries that depend on tourism have many good ways such as travel corridors, flexible isolation, vaccine passports …

Thailand and Indonesia both give priority to the COVID-19 vaccination for people in the two tourist islands Phuket and Bali, aiming to open to international visitors soon this July. Indonesia will prepare a tourist corridor, establish a “green zone” in Bali for tourists to come and stay, considering a direct flight connecting Bali with well-controlled countries. Meanwhile, the tourism industry in Phuket wants to inject the majority of the island’s population to welcome all international tourists who have vaccinated. Visitors will not have to quarantine or go anywhere as long as they do not leave the island within a week.

Tourism bubbles have been formed as between Taiwan (China) and Palau, Australia and Singapore …

The European Union (EU) member countries have agreed to formally implement the ‘vaccine passport’ initiative towards reopening the tourism industry in the summer of 2021.

In Vietnam, Da Nang is the leading city in this regard. The city tourism industry has selected about 10 leading travel companies to prepare for the welcome guests when the policy of “vaccine passport” from the government.

Facing a precious golden opportunity, the Vietnamese tourism industry is both happy and worried. Glad for the opportunity to revive, worried about how to perform the dual task: well serving the sudden increase in tourists; ensure disease prevention.

Because just one case of COVID-19 in the community in a certain tourist city is a golden opportunity to slip out of hand again, as happened in Danang last year.

According to the latest list by residence and citizenship consultancy Henley Partners (based in the UK), Japan continues to be the most powerful passporting country in the world. The people of cherry blossom country can go to 193 countries without applying for a visa.

The second place belongs to another Asian country, Singapore. The number of visa-free countries for Singapore passport owners is up to 192. The remaining positions in the top 5 went to Germany, South Korea (same 191) and Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain (190). Ranked 5th are Austria and Denmark with 189 visa-free destinations

Afghanistan ranks bottom of the list of power passports with 26 destinations, followed by Iraq (28) and Syria (29).

“The disparity in freedom of travel is at its largest level since the arrival of the power passport index in 2006. Japanese passport users can reach more than 167 countries and territories than Afghan citizens,” said Henley Partners representative.

In addition, the company also pointed to China and the UAE as the two countries with the biggest spikes in the rankings. Over the past 10 years, China has risen 22 places, from 90th to 68th. The number of visa-exempt countries for Chinese citizens increased from 40 to 77.

The UAE does even better than that. The country’s passport jumped from 65th to 15th place in the latest rankings. A total of 174 countries exempt visa for people who own UAE passports.

According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the ban on international visitors by a third of the world has made passports no longer as useful as they were before the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Christian H. Kaelin, President of Henley Partners and creator of the passport index, said: “The latest rankings show that economic recovery and development depend on global mobility, including individual freedom of movement.

No one expected the move to return to pre-pandemic times soon. However, we can expect more than we did a few months ago.”
