The “village” is like a symphony of colors under the sunlight in a peaceful setting. In 1979, after receiving a postcard from his daughter with a picture of a glass castle – an attraction on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia (Canada), Edouard T.Arsenault was inspired to build the park. Present your own glass bottles. In the summer of that year, he began collecting bottles from the surrounding area, mainly from local restaurants, friends, relatives and neighbors. He then spent the winter in his basement cleaning bottles, removing labels, and brooding about the project. In the spring of 1980, at the age of 66, he began work on the project on the grounds of his house on Prince Edward Island. More than 12,000 recycled glass bottles are cleverly linked together to form a 6-gable house measuring 4x6m. The house opened to visitors in 1981. Impressed with the unique architecture, visitors urged Mr. Arsenault to build more buildings out of glass bottles. By 1983, he had completed a tavern made of 8,000 glass bottles and a prayer hall made of 10,000 glass bottles. The “village” made up of about 30,000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes and surrounded by beautiful flower gardens has become a paradise for photographers, nature and soul lovers. with recycling projects. After Mr. Arsenault’s death, this wonderful work continued to be maintained by his family. Some pictures of the unique “village” made from glass bottles by Mr. Edouard T.Arsenault: Inspired by his daughter’s postcard, Edouard T.Arsenault built his own glass bottle architecture. All bottles must be cleaned and labels removed before construction work can begin. About 30,000 recycled glass bottles were used. In 1983, Arsenault completed his own pub. The “village” made of thousands of recycled glass bottles has become a tourist attraction.

No matter how much money you spend on your travels, don’t forget to buy an affordable souvenir.
Everyone wants their travel memories to be carefully preserved and forever fresh. And only things can be grasped that truly encapsulate those memories. No matter how much money you spend on your travels, don’t forget to buy an affordable souvenir, choose a free souvenir or simply take lots of photos, for later. There’s always something to remember when you come back. Here are some ideas for you to choose the best souvenirs from your travels.

 1. The postcards beautifully decorated Postcards are small, light, and compact souvenirs that make them perfect for collectors. In addition, you can take pictures yourself to attach to the postcard, both keeping memories and making the photo more eye-catching and interesting. If not, you absolutely can buy postcards with pictures or pictures to decorate at home. For example, cards with pictures of the place you are visiting, or record activities that people there are doing on a daily basis. All seem to fit on a postcard. 2. Handicraft souvenirs of local artisans Think of souvenir ideas that will increase demand for your local community and ultimately your own life. Buying in favor of local goods while traveling is a form of sustainable tourism. You will feel like you are making a small contribution to the local economy, helping to develop that tourist destination, so that you and your family can come back to visit and relax again and again. For example: In Cambodia, you should visit Artisans D’Angkor, a handicraft workshop, which produces metal bedside jewelry racks and some local scarves. In Kenya, stuffed animal toys and funny jewelry from Amani ya Juu handcrafted by local African women can be the perfect gift. It sells a few home decorations such as hand-knit baskets, ceramic display plates, and clay animal displays from the Masai market in Nairobi. – In Italy, you can choose to buy leather goods such as gloves, bags, purses, passport bags and belts from a local Florentine designer instead of going to big luxury stores. – In the Netherlands, there are many places selling Delft vases and wooden perforated tulips from a local artist. In Thailand, an interesting souvenir is a beautiful traditional wooden umbrella. 3. Home decorations Who wouldn’t want their house to be their own reflection? If you love to travel, consider buying things from all over the world to enhance the beauty of your home. Of course, you can buy a lot of these decorations online now, but do you have an interesting story to tell about them? The pieces from our trip should be an important part of the house, a wonderful reminder of all the places we’ve been to. For example: – Geisha dolls from Japan – Delft vase from the Netherlands – The traditional German beer mug – A few hand-carved wooden animals from Kenya – Hand-drawn paintings from Italy 4. Local wine This may not qualify as an affordable souvenir (unless you choose the template) but it certainly qualifies as a special gift for special ones. No matter how much they cost, with a bottle of wine, you can’t go wrong with the “spirit” of the country you’re bringing home. For example: – Wine from Iceland (Birch, Vodka Iceland, Brennivin) – Local Scotch from Scotland – Limoncello & Chianti from Italy – Riesling wines from the Rhine Valley of Germany Sake from Japan – Rum from Mauritius and Puerto Rico 5. Jewelry Simply a girl could not resist the temptation of sparkling jewels. You can create for yourself a complete collection of items from around the world that are both eye-catching and admirable: – Traditional Masai necklace from village tour at Masai Mara. India has the best Boho style jewelry a country can offer. – Sri Lanka is famous for its gems, women can buy themselves a beautiful Sapphire ring./.

Nya cat has helped the locality to attract large numbers of tourists to and use the station’s services, at the right time when the place is facing the danger of closing.
A cat named Nya has just been celebrating his 3-year inauguration as a train station chief in Japan, Mainichi reporting.

Accordingly, about 10 years ago, Nya was a feral cat, strayed to JR Bungo-Takeda station. The name Nya, in Japanese means ‘meow’, resembles a cat’s cry. With a cute and friendly personality, Nya attracted the attention of many residents and gradually became famous. Station director Tadamasa Hino poses for a photo with the cat Nya. Therefore, the city’s Tourism Association decided to appoint Nya as the director of the station’s Tourist Information Center in September 2017. In April 2018, Nya was appointed to become the head of JR Bungo-Takeda Station. When asked about “colleagues”, Mr. Tadamasa Hino, station manager – said the cat is extremely friendly, polite and pleasant. Sometimes, Nya would fall asleep on the feet of unfamiliar customers at the station. To be able to hold this position, the cat Nya is sent to the training school to “apprentice”. In 3 years, as her position, the Nya cat helped the locality to attract a large number of tourists to and use the station’s services, when the place was facing a slump, almost stopped working. “Nya has more than 3 years of experience working at the station. I hope the cat continues to help the station grow.” On the occasion of Nya’s third-year inauguration, the city’s Tourism Association presented the station chief with a wooden box filled with cat food. This is a gift to encourage and acknowledge Nya’s contribution. Approximately 30 people attended the celebration. Participants were given postcards and biscuits with the image of a cat. Megumi Fujino (48 years old) station staff – said: “I hope Nya prioritizes health, entertainment with visitors should follow her own health”. Minato Miyahara, a 3rd grade student at Taketa Elementary School excitedly – shares: “Nya is very bright and cute. I want her to continue to bond here” Children play with cat Nya, station chief JR Bungo-Taketa, Japan.
