The biography ‘Napoléon Bonaparte’ presents a vivid portrait of one of the most famous and controversial figures in world history.
There have been many books written about the military and statesman Napoleon Bonaparte. Each work recognizes, analyzes and studies this character from different perspectives. In some books he is a military genius, in others he is a war-obsessed tyrant.

Book of Napoleon Bonaparte published by Literature and Dong A Publishing House. Photo: D. A. Genius or sinner? Historian Adam Zamoyski tore the veil of anecdotal covering the character’s life, explaining Napoleon based on the context of the European Enlightenment. His book has just been published in Vietnamese with the name Napoleon Bonaparte , translated by translator Nguyen Qui Hien. The 916-page book of 44 chapters, builds on the biography of Napoleon Bonaparte from his birth on the island of Corsica, his way to advancement, to his death on the island of Saint Helena. The author spends a large amount of time researching about the years that formed the person of Napoleon, to explain a person that is still controversial. The author also focuses on writing about the first Italian campaign (1796-1797), which showed how Napoleon was superior to his opponents and colleagues. The Russia campaign is seen by the author as “the key to Napoleon’s decline, and shows how his confusions led to political suicide”. Adam Zamoyski was soon exposed to contrasting, anecdotes about Napoleon: A divine genius, an embodiment of romantic ideals, a vicious demon, or just a dictator. ugly small stature. Historical studies cause Adam Zamoyski to disagree with any of them. In Preface In the book, the author stated the purpose of the research: “This book is not to justify or condemn, but to rearrange the pieces of the human life born under the name of Napoleone Bonaparte, and to consider how Why did he become ‘Napoléon’ and gain all the achievements he had, and why did he lose all this fortune.” With the view that Napoleon was a genius, Adam Zamoyski said that he did not see this character as having anything superhuman, but had many extraordinary qualities. Napoleon was still an ordinary man in many respects, “despite having achieved countless glory, personally led the most disastrous battle in military history (a disaster of his own making), and himself single-handedly destroy the great fortune that I, along with many others, have worked so hard to build.” Historian Adam Zamoyski rates Napoleon as an excellent tactician; but he was not a strategist, so at the end of his life he met a tragic end. With the view that Napoleon is “a bloodthirsty demon of war”, the author rejects when placing the character in a historical context. According to the author, Napoleon’s motives and ambitions were similar to those of his contemporaries such as Tsar Alexander I, Duke of Wellington, Earl Blucher… Before the rise of Napoleon, a hegemonic dispute broke out. Britain occupied Canada, a large part of India; Austria won many provinces in Italy; Poland and Prussia increased in size… But the leaders were not criticized for being bloodthirsty for war. The book is considered a true biography of Napoleon. Photo: D. A. Put the character in historical context Writing a biography, the author puts Napoleon in historical context, ignoring accepted opinions and prejudices. To do this, the author has focused on many sources that he considers reliable. He consults a large number of documents in government archives, national libraries of many countries, to books, newspapers in circulation, and the research of previous historians. The author also studies the memoirs of related people such as Bourrienne, Fouché, Barras… with caution. He said that these characters originally wrote memoirs mainly to justify themselves or to build their own image. The book has received positive feedback from researchers and the press. The Times “This is perhaps one of the most honest biographies of Napoleon,” he wrote. In addition to footer and Bibliography presented according to the original book, the Vietnamese version is supplemented with the Vietnamese Index system. This helps readers to look up more historical sources that the author has consulted when writing the book, creating a convenient and scientific experience. Vietnamese edition of Napoleon Bonaparte There are also illustrations from the book Histoire de l’Empereur Napoleon , by Laurent de l’Ardèche, by painter Horace Vernet. The appendix of the book is 36 images of Napoleon’s life through paintings by contemporary artists. These are portraits of Napoleon, portraits of his relatives, related figures, places, events (such as the Tuileries Palace, the Arc de Triomphe Carrousel, the coronation of Napoleon)… Author Adam Zamoyski (1949) is a British historical researcher. He can speak five languages English, Polish, French, Italian, Russian. He is currently teaching in the UK, USA and Europe. Adam Zamoyski wrote many books on Polish and European history. He is the author of three works on Napoleon: Napoleon Bonaparte (Napoleon: A Life) ), Moscow 1812: Napoleon’s Fatal March on Moscow (1812 – Napoleon’s deadly campaign in Moscow), Rites of Peace, The Fall of Napoleon & the Congress of Vienna (Peace Rite – The Fall of Napoleon and the Conference of Vienna).

According to author James Cummings, the LGBT community in Hainan (China) suffers from many prejudices and is not taken seriously. They have to hide their sexual orientation in order to live a ‘normal life’.
“Ah Kang, come here! I’ll take you to the place where we play mahjong,” Ah Tao, a 29-year-old man living in Gia Dinh city (Hainan, China), called me in the middle of the square.

The “we” that Ah Tao is talking about are gay men on the island, like him. With the aim of understanding the life of the LGBT community in Hainan, I asked Ah Tao to be my guide. Unlike big cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou, the LGBT community in the island located on the southern coast of the mainland 30 km is not really well received, has to live a closed life and hide its bias. sexual orientation towards society. Unlike in Beijing or Shanghai, the LGBT community in Hainan province still faces many prejudices and is not accepted by society. Photo: The Beijinger. Hide your identity 11 years ago, I spent 12 months learning Chinese in Hainan and interacting with the local LGBT community. From that experience, for the past 8 years, I have started researching the lives of gay, bisexual and transgender people in this low-economic and culturally low-value locality. In the past few years, the government has made a lot of efforts to promote tourism in Hainan, but there has not been the same level of investment in other coastal areas. Ah Tao led me out of the square, through an empty market, and into a dark alley. “When you go there, don’t mention homosexuality or heterosexuality,” he warned carefully. Most have to hide their identities to be able to integrate into the community and continue to lead normal lives. Photo: New York Post. I suddenly recalled in 2009, the first time my friends took me to the only gay bar in Haikou – the capital of Hainan province. It was nestled behind an abandoned hotel, hidden by another row of working hotels. Later, I found out that that is the common point of spaces for the LGBT community – discreet, out of sight. To outsiders, these areas are completely invisible, hard to find. But for people like Ah Tao, this is the only place to take off your mask and be true to yourself. “Happy or sad, I always go to these bars to relax. The LGBT community here doesn’t have that much space,” said Xiaomai, a 19-year-old gay man. However, such bars only exist in major cities on the island. In smaller towns, they can only meet and chat at teahouses, convenience stores and parks. The risk of being discovered, stigmatized, affecting honor, family and work is also greater. Therefore, Ah Tao told me not to mention a word related to “gay”. Following Ah Tao’s footsteps into a convenience store at an intersection in a dark alley, I saw three electric mahjong tables surrounded by many people, men and women of all kinds. Seeing Ah Tao, they turned to ask about love and marriage. “It looks like it, but the men sitting here are all gay,” Ah Tao whispered to me. Accordingly, because they want to participate in community activities, many gay people in Hainan accept to hide their identities and pretend to be a different person. The worry of “no wife, no children” “How do you have a wife and children that are so few these days?”, a woman playing mahjong turned to ask Ah Tao. In fact, gay men here often receive such curious questions about marriage. Family pressure, children are always present, reminding Ah Tao that he is living “no wife, no children”. Many people in the community fear that they will be forced to marry and have children according to the expectations of family and society. “I am happy to make friends, get to know many people like me. But what about the future? How should I face my family, how do I explain the fact that I am still unmarried at 20-30 years old?”, Xiaomai’s heart. Some gay people living in Hainan choose to have children through surrogacy, which helps relieve the pressure of marriage and the anxiety of loneliness in old age. Photo: The Guardian. In China, the traditional concept of family still has a profound influence in society. For men, they need to be responsible for getting married and having children at all costs. In addition, due to fear of old age without a caregiver, many gay men accept marriage. “I got married partly because of my parents, partly because I was afraid that I wouldn’t have someone to look after me in my old age,” said 24 year old Liang Zongwei, a gay man living in Haikou. Some individuals like Ah Long (36 years old), a factory owner in northeastern Hainan, choose to have children through surrogacy. However, not everyone has the financial means to do this. In big cities, social organizations are trying to change stereotypes and raise social awareness about the LGBT community. But with provinces and cities that have not yet received economic and cultural investment like Hainan, the presence of homosexuals has not been properly recognized. From the experience of making friends with Ah Tao and being exposed to LGBT culture in Hainan, I reflect more on life, wondering if having to hide my true self is really “living”.

Andrew (46 years old, living in London, England) did not wear a mask during the 2020 epidemic season. He did not even have a mask. He said that studies on masks are conflicting, especially highlighting that wearing them is not effective, even though it is scientifically proven that wearing masks helps reduce the spread of the virus.

“I agree that vulnerable people want to wear masks as a precaution, but that’s their own choice,” Andrew said. When someone asked why he didn’t wear them when he went to public places such as supermarkets, subways, he lied, “I am exempt from wearing masks”. Many men refuse to wear masks because they consider it a sign of lack of masculinity and weakness. Photo: Cottonbro / Pexels. According to the The Independent Wearing a mask is the most important method to prevent the virus from spreading. The World Health Organization has been urging people to wear masks since June 2020, a scientific review published in July of the same year in the Journal of the American Medical Association described it as “an important important” in the fight against Covid-19. However, the disturbing fact is that there is a large number of people who refuse to wear masks like Andrew, the majority of which are men. A survey of 2,459 people in the US conducted by two academics at Middlesex University (London) and the University of Berkeley (California, USA) in May 2020 found that men are not only less likely to wear masks in public places. women, many of whom even consider wearing them “embarrassing, uncomfortable and a sign of weakness”. “Wearing a mask is a sign of weakness” Even when he tested positive for Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized, former US President Donald Trump still wanted to show that he did not need a mask, he took it off while standing on the steps of the White House after returning from the hospital. institute. “I don’t wear a mask like him. Standing a few dozen meters away, he was still wearing the biggest mask I’ve ever seen,” Trump said of President Joe Biden during the September 2020 debate. Trump seems to be implying that not wearing a mask means he is showing overwhelming strength against his opponent. Many men believe that only vulnerable people need to wear masks. Photo: Rex Features. A study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation, an American NGO that focuses on public health issues, found that 68% of women regularly wear masks when leaving the house, this number in men is 49%. Emma Lygnerud Boberg, gender and program development consultant at International Media Support (Denmark), said: “This is a trend that we have seen before, where men appear to be reluctant to adopt measures. preventive measures than women”. She further notes that this is also consistent with other data, like men wearing seat belts less often than women. Peter Glick, an expert at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, says that men seem willing to take greater risks in everyday life, and that there are toxic gender stereotypes that force men to flex their muscles and fear. hurt. “Men are socialized to be dominant and independent. All these characteristics are intended to reinforce patriarchal norms that present masculinity as a performance. Wearing a mask can be interpreted as It shows weakness in some men. It shows that they are openly afraid of this virus, which means breaking courage,” he told The Independent. Toxic gender stereotypes Preliminary research by James Mahalik, Boston College professor of Developmental Educational Psychology, and doctoral fellows Michael Di Bianca and Michael Harris suggests that individualist tendencies and skepticism toward science Education can be directly related to whether or not a person will accept wearing a mask. To find out why some men refused to wear masks, Mahalik surveyed 596 men across 49 states, of various ages, with incomes ranging from less than $10,000 a year to more than $200,000 a year. The survey asked each person to rate whether they identified certain masculinity standards and to express their thoughts on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to minimize sexual harassment. spread of Covid-19. Toxic gender stereotypes are part of the reason some men don’t want to wear masks. In general, respondents felt positive about the Covid-19 prevention guidelines and said they adhered to them (since this was self-provided data, the researchers could not confirm that they actually wear masks all the time). Men who hold negative views on public health recommendations, such as social distancing and wearing face masks, also have traditional masculinity ideals revolving around emotional control, self-reliance, unity, and self-reliance. dominance, victory, power over women, and heterosexual self-expression. “We found that media masculinity saw less benefit from following CDC guidelines. They see more barriers, less trust in science, and they have less empathy for vulnerable or high-risk people,” Mahalik told Fast Company. Instead of trying to convince masculine men to change core elements of their identities, public health officials might consider reducing individualism in men by focusing on more socially friendly aspects of traditional masculinity.

EU regulators have proposed to strictly restrict the use of facial recognition in public spaces, limiting technology that has caused controversy in a handful of use cases for the public interest.
In a 138-page confidential document, European Union (EU) officials said the facial recognition system violates an individual’s citizenship and should therefore be used only in situations where They are considered essential, such as finding missing children and controlling terrorist events.

The EU proposes to strictly restrict the use of facial recognition The draft law adds that feature face recognition “Real-time”, using live tracking instead of past shots or photos in public spaces by authorities should only be used for a limited amount of time and it should be prior consent from a judge or a national authority. The document comes as privacy advocates, politicians and European citizens increasingly speak up about the use of direct facial recognition. Currently, there is no clear regulation on how and where technology can be used by the public, so the proposed law would be the first law to codify these restrictions into law. The introduction of stricter restrictions on the use of facial recognition technology will likely rekindle debate over whether this activity should be banned entirely, as scene experts report that it’s still risky. In a landmark ruling last August, the UK Court of Appeals found the use of facial recognition to be illegal by the South Wales Police and that it violates privacy, data protection law and equality law. The draft EU law also addresses a range of related issues such as algorithmic interference, the argument that technology used in recruitment and financial operations should be played out. development so as not to repeat “historical forms of discrimination” against ethnic minority groups. EU regulators have proposed a hefty fine of up to 6% of a company’s global revenue if found to abuse artificial intelligence in this way or with no prejudice detected when hiring workers or Service Provider. They added that so-called social scoring, which measures a person’s trustworthiness from behavioral data gathered about them, should also be banned. In China, for example, a system is being developed to calculate a person’s credit score using information about their online habits. “The social score obtained … can lead to the adverse or unfavorable treatment of a person or group of people … irrespective of the context in which the data was originally generated”, said the leak. These proposals will now be discussed by the European Parliament and member states until at least 2023 before becoming a formal law. Phan Van Hoa (According to Arstechnica)

According to a study published in the journal NPJ Science of Learning, girls and boys have similar brains and the same ability to absorb math.

The study was performed on 104 children aged 3-10 years old, of which 55 were girls. The scientists showed the children an educational video that included math concepts such as counting and subtraction. The scientists then charted the child’s brain activity through an MRI scanner and compared the results. That data showed no difference between children’s brain functions or development. The team also looked at the results of a math proficiency test of 97 children aged 3 to 8, of which 50 were female. Both genders showed equally good results, irrespective of age. The study also showed that, in fact, girls and boys had similar levels of neurological maturity across the brain. This shows that the neural processing of mathematics develops at the same rate in boys and girls. According to researcher Matthijs Oosterveen, Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), “Natural science has been considered a weakness of women. Many people believe that they are more endowed with social studies. Scientific findings show that it is gender prejudice. In fact, men and women are equally capable “. Dr. Alyssa Kersey – Psychology Department, University of Chicago said, “Not only in mathematics but in all other fields, both boys and girls have similar brain activity.” . According to research published in the Journal in 2011, gender stereotypes about math can cause girls to have more self-esteem about their abilities. In the long run, it will have a negative impact on their academic performance. Therefore, scientists hope that these scientific studies can contribute to eliminating gender stereotypes. Thereby, it is possible to promote women’s participation in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Thanh Hoa club does not register naturalized striker Hoang Vu Samson, making the relationship between the two sides standing on the edge of the abyss.
Thanh Hoa Club will have a trip as a guest on Dak Lak’s field on April 24 without Samson’s service. Despite the expiration of the VFF discipline, Samson is still subject to an internal punishment of the club.

In addition to having to pay VND 15 million and a 3-match break as decided by the Disciplinary Committee, Samson was also not allowed to play in the starting lineup by the club. He could only sit on the bench and train with the reserve team. Club President Thanh Hoa, Mr. Cao Tien Doan (left) is not satisfied with Samson. Photo: Quang Thinh. With club president Thanh Hoa Cao Tien Doan, Samson is no longer in the team’s plan. During the trip as a guest at Quy Nhon Stadium of Binh Dinh, Samson was not registered. Worse, he could not play the National Cup either. Talk to Zing , Samson said: “I don’t know what the club wants. I said let me go but they didn’t do it either. It was all because I had a quarrel with President Cao Tien Doan after the match against Da Nang.” Samson was criticized for a rough ball with goalkeeper Nguyen Tuan Manh. Thanh Hoa club warned a player born in 1988 when he caused two other defenders seriously injured in the match against Hanoi and Quang Ninh. Even so, Samson still committed the crime again. This player said that he only played enthusiastically, not deliberately destroying his colleagues. But the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Club did not think so when Samson’s actions were repeated many times. The club also said that Samson deliberately asked the card so that he did not have to play. Thanh Hoa club also plans to invite the police to join, to see if Samson is involved in the negative or not. They thought he missed many scoring opportunities in previous rounds. In response, Samson threatened to sue the club for slandering him. Tension between the two sides resulted in Samson having to continue “sitting in the water” without knowing which day he was called to the field. He still trained with his teammates, but not much, most of them practiced alone. Even so, Samson still proved professional and accepted that. “I love football and I am a professional player. If I have the chance to return to play for Thanh Hoa, I am ready to play with 110%. It is my job and I have to do it,” said this player. confess. Samson did not know how the future was coming. Photo: Quang Thinh. “Last year, the team had problems, but I stayed to play to my best, helping Thanh Hoa not to relegate. With the chairman, I have no prejudice or bad thoughts on him. my father, “Samson said. During the time Samson was not playing, Thanh Hoa suddenly had an impressive series with 3 wins and 1 draw. Mr. Ljupko Petrovic’s teachers and students took up to 10 points in this period and climbed to 7th place with 14 points. Therefore, it is not unreasonable to say that Samson is no longer in the plan of the Qing team. Samson flourished in the early part of the season, but the team did not play well. When he was absent, the club immediately made an impression, although there was no main striker. “If it’s not on the team plan anymore, I accept it, too. It’s part of football,” admits Samson. Most likely, Thanh Hoa will let Samson go because the contract between the two sides is only about 6 months. Accordingly, this naturalized striker has the right to actively negotiate with other teams. The mid-season transfer market will be open from April 26 to May 23. When there are not many quality strikers in the market, Samson is still a good choice for teams that are in trouble. He is one of the top strikers of Vietnamese football, asserted his class through many V.League seasons. In fact, Samson has been watched by many teams when he is unhappy in Thanh Hoa. 14 years of experience in the V.League is enough for a Nigerian-born player to integrate quickly. Highlights Thanh Hoa 1-3 Da Nang: Rafaelson scored a hat-trick On the afternoon of March 29, the impressive performance of Rafaelson helped teachers and coaches Le Huynh Duc win all 3 points at Thanh Hoa Stadium in the match in round 6 of V.League 2021.

The Anaconda is one of the most ferocious and gruesome predators on the planet, but this is not enough to make the animal – the main character in the post, care.
In us, surely everyone is imbued with thoughts such as “work is glory” or “on the way to success without the sloth’s footsteps”, the idea to advise people who want to achieve something that needs to be industrious. On the straight path of the glorious avenue, there will never be the presence of those who do not put in effort, effort at work.

However, in the new era, interwoven with new and strange flows of information, knowledge, culture, prejudices about laziness seem somewhat less severe than before. The famous quote defending the lazy people of billionaire Bill Gates, who was once the richest in the world: “I always choose the lazy for the difficult jobs. Because they always know how to find children. easiest way to do, “is also a view to help us consider one thing, maybe the lazy life is not as boring as you know? Animals, the name is enough to say a thing that is difficult to work hard, the lord of indolence, that is the sloth. The scientific name is Folivora, living mainly in the tropical forests of South America. The identity of this species, of course, lies in its resolution speed, its life. According to biologists, sloths are the slowest-living mammal on the planet. But that is when compared to other animals, and when it comes to sloths, it doesn’t care. Our job is to enjoy life the way we do. Always playful in all circumstances. Therefore, we can never come across the face of any sloth displaying a sad emotional state. Always, anytime, anywhere, whether it’s sunny, rainy, sick or sick, the only expression on a sloth’s face is calmness, accompanied by a decent smile. smiling too broadly too tired), showing absolute enjoyment, love life. The life of a sloth, basically, is to spend all of its time on three big, important things in that life: eating, sleeping, resting on the foliage, repeating again and again. Most herbivores will supplement other sources of energy with nutritious foods, many minerals such as seeds, fruits … Sloths are too lazy, so it only needs to eat leaves. And with this “frosty” dish, the lazy body also takes about 30 days to fully digest. The pinnacle of sloths, captured by photographer Quin Shrock in Peru, is taking risks, one’s own life because of laziness. Opening the clip is an image of an extremely large Anaconda python moving on the ground. This is a giant python living in the Amazon basin, South America. They average about 10 meters long, weigh up to a ton and are extremely dangerous. Although not a venomous species, instead, the Anaconda python has a much more brutal way of hunting. It was a surprise attack with lightning speed, then grabbed the bait’s body and squeezed so that their bones were broken and slowly swallowed. As for such a terrifying predator, most animals try to choose the option to avoid, dodge as far as possible, but our protagonist doesn’t think so. How many days to stick to the tree, on a beautiful day the sloth acts to the ground, even if the sky collapses it will still follow the predetermined plan. Thinking how to do so, the sloth kept slowly, step by step, following the predetermined route. Encountering an obstacle is the python Anaconda, whatever, I just go my way, whoever gets in my way, I climb over it to continue. Life inherently functions in a simple way, don’t let foolish thoughts make it more complicated. The python encountered an opponent too “muddy” like this was also bewildered, not knowing how to deal with it. I hate being blocked the most … This makes the sloth seem a little annoyed. Therefore it had to “impolite” to use the hand to move the python’s head away to continue on the chosen path. The clip ends in peace, but perhaps the python also learned a lesson about not to block the sloths, and then have a reputation for being impolite, stopping others.

The elimination of the ‘white new beauty’ stereotype in the skin care industry in Japan is being responded to.
According to the Sora News 24 Before worrying about inequality and racism, Kao – a 134-year-old cosmetic brand in Japan – is at the forefront of ending the concept of “white new beauty”.

In Japan, one of the most popular beauty trends is skin lightening, popular with cleansers, moisturizers and makeup. The above standard is supported and promoted when the word “whitening” is widely used by brands to advertise their products. In the Japanese beauty industry, the most commonly used word for whitening is “bihaku” – containing the kanji for “beauty” and “white”. The popularity of this word made the obsession of a bright white skin more widespread in the community. “Beautiful new white” is a popular beauty standard in Japan. Photo: Erika Ikuta. While bihaku is still being used by beauty brands, Kao has been a leader in eliminating the stereotype about the appearance by announcing that it will no longer use the word in products since March. Eliminate this entire word on its product for several years. The Kao representative said that the company does not want to promote the message that one skin color outperforms other skin tones, eliminating bihaku is part of the brand’s efforts to promote diversity. The language change follows similar moves by foreign companies like L’Oreal and Unilever. Kao was the first Japanese cosmetic company to stop using bihaku. Despite the elimination of prejudiced words, whitening products are believed to be the preferred choice in Japan. Kao said it will still meet this demand from customers, but will replace “whitening” with the word “brighten” for products that limit the appearance of freckles and dark spots. Kao’s commitment to diversity goes beyond the language used in product marketing, the company also strives to address gender issues. The company also said it plans to launch a new series of foundation creams this fall in 23 colors, almost double the number of colors normally offered, while taking steps to curb various stereotypes, like using words like “standard” or “normal” for common shades of foundation.

Women’s warmth and sensitivity are the factors that cause female AI to appear more often than men.
Nowadays, we can see that AI robots like Sophia, Erika or virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa all share a common feature of female sex.

According to the article by author Sylvie Borau, posted above The Conversation, Gender imbalances in the AI world are a widespread trend. The status of female robots more than male robots could have detrimental consequences for women in the future. So why do female AIs appear more than male AIs? Direction to more humane robots AI experts prioritize female sex when programming robots because there are factors in women that are more important than men. Specifically, women have more warmth and ability to experience emotions than men due to their sensitivity. For AI, emotional experience is the elements they can emulate humans. To research on this issue, Borau created evolutionary scales and surveyed more than 3,000 people to see personality such as warm, cheerful, friendly, orderly, polite … whichever more. Not only suitable for the current social context, female robots are also considered to be easier to learn emotionally than male robots. Photo: Wonderland Magazine. Based on research theory, women possess the extreme human qualities more than men. Therefore, female robots are also more “human” than male robots. The way female AI deduces also opens up favorable directions for AI problems. In general, the research results show that female robots are endowed with qualities appropriate to the current service context of society. We tend to trust a female robot more. According to the The Conversation, Programming experts consider women the right group to develop AI because they realize that this gender possesses the qualities of a superman. Risk of increasing gender inequality In the view of writer Kate Manne, the quality of women can overcome the invisible gender barrier. The fact that women make up the majority of AI also stems from the perception that women are more “human” than men. However, UNESCO warns that gender imbalances in the AI world can create prejudices against women, for example that some will view women as obedient groups. In the future, if the number of female robots explodes, materialized prejudices may emerge. Photo: GeekWire. Sylvie Borau thinks the process of turning women into AI development agents can have many consequences. Accordingly, in the future, when too many female AIs with high authenticity appear, women’s perspectives are tools designed to meet the needs of the owner, which will implicitly form in society. This could potentially result in more disregard for and loss of human rights among more women. Researcher Borau calls this human materialization. In social philosophy, materialization ( Objectification ) is the treatment of a human being (sometimes an animal) like an object. Therefore, Sylvie Borau’s research also emphasizes the ethical issue that AI designers must pay attention to. Seeing women as the key target for AI development doesn’t deliver good results for an egalitarian robot world. According to Sylvie Borau, we need to take measures to prevent women from falling into such prejudices. For example a solution similar to Google. The company stipulates that its AIs will be assigned a random male / female voice with equal probability.

People’s Artist Kim Xuan himself was shocked for half a year when his son wanted to live separately.

In the program Weekend story On VTV this week, there was the appearance of a female artist loved by many audiences – People’s Artist Kim Xuan. Here, People’s Artist Kim Xuan had a conversation with MC Ngo Nhu Quynh and Psychological Doctor To Nhi A about a topic that is considered eternal in family life, which is the relationship between mother-in-law and the bride.

The relationship between mother-in-law – bride-in-law is a long and controversial topic not only in Vietnam but also in the world. Usually, people think that daughter-in-law is always at a disadvantage in this story. But perhaps times have changed when so many mothers now have to come together to share and learn how to be a mother-in-law. And from the perspective of People’s Artist Kim Xuan, many people have to be confused.

People’s Artist Kim Xuan: “I learned how to be a mother-in-law unconsciously”

People’s Artist Kim Xuan said that the common mentality of mothers, including mothers-in-law who have a daughter to marry, is mostly prejudiced about this relationship. The female artist pointed out that the individualism was too great to make the problem between the mother-in-law – the bride-in-law difficult to solve.

As a woman herself, when thinking about her days as a bride in the past, having a strict but loving mother-in-law has helped her to perfect herself today. Since then, People’s Artist Kim Xuan knows how to properly treat her daughter-in-law. Besides, she proved confusing when some mothers-in-law had thoughts “In the past, it was too hard, so now I want to exile my daughter-in-law as much as I do”.

The female artist was also very surprised when Dr. To Nhi A shared: “Because of the stereotypes of the Eastern culture that ‘overlap with class’ and do not exist alone, that has created the current situation that … young girls hate their mother-in-law even when they do not know they have one. husband or not ”.

This is invisible, making the image of the mother-in-law distorted in the eyes of the bridesmaids, creating a certain precaution even before meeting the other party. On the contrary, on the side of the mother-in-law, they also have certain prejudices created from their own experience of “being a bride” and the fear of losing a son also complicates the relationship with her daughter-in-law.

MC Ngo Nhu Quynh said, being a good mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is not only natural, but it takes effort. The female MC said that when it comes to the mother-in-law relationship – the bride-in-law, usually everyone will pay attention to “learning to be a bride” but forget the aspect of “learning to be a mother-in-law”.

People’s Artist Kim Xuan immediately expressed: “First of all, it must be confirmed that this is a very good phrase. Maybe a lot of people my age, who are older than me or who are preparing to have a daughter-in-law … will say: Why learn to be a mother-in-law? Learning for what? Because they think they are parents, their thinking is that their children must follow.

I feel lucky because being an actress gives me a lot of experience and experience when transforming into many different mothers-in-law. Since then, I know what is right and what is wrong to have a moderation in the way of treating her daughter-in-law, so learning to be a mother-in-law is essential ”.

She continued to confess: “I don’t know if I learned from the films I learned from acting or learned unconsciously, but now I learn this: Even in my family, each member is not sure about the same opinion, sometimes they are It took a long time for a young girl to come to her family, through a time of inquiry, to live with a son. me, give me a lovely, smart grandchild and work like a hard bee even my youth only know for my family.

And what is her joy in return? Is a holiday with the family on vacation. That joy is too lovely, reasonable. There may be very small mistakes but it is a daily life, should I force them to make it bigger to immobilize between the two women in the house, and the most guilty person is my son, should there be that? I feel absolutely no “.

The advice that People’s Artist Kim Xuan gives to mothers-in-law today is to get rid of deep thoughts, just live and think simple. All the things that make you feel light, make the whole family happy and happy should be done, do not let the situation of “daughter-in-law in case of mother-in-law, mother-in-law looking at daughter-in-law” accidentally makes the atmosphere family becomes stressed.

“In my opinion, just live comfortably and especially think about what kind of family we are, the new member to my family must also give people time to integrate. Not 1 minute and 1 second. ‘ You have to be like this, your house is like that, you mustn’t be wrong … ‘God, that pressure is terrible “, People’s Artist Kim Xuan said.

“When Thanh Phuong’s son and daughter-in-law asked for them separately, I was shocked”

Talking about the relationship within her own family, People’s Artist Kim Xuan said she was shocked for half a year when her son left: “Everyone thinks I am living with my son and daughter-in-law Thanh Phuong, but now I live separately. My wife and I only gave birth to Huy Luan. I don’t pamper my child, but whatever I say he is still my only son, so for me, his son is number 1.

I love them, I love them and there are some things that I don’t say, but I always look forward to them. I always listen to her opening the door when she is singing in the tea room every night. Everywhere I go, I will pass by my floor and say: ‘Mom, I’m going home’. Therefore, when Huy Luan, his son and his daughter-in-law Thanh Phuong proposed to live separately, I was shocked, really shocked.

I think, I built a house only for the purpose of the whole family to live together, yet they demanded a separate residence. For about 6 months, my husband and I felt like being stressed, but my family did not say it. I am proud that I am a mother with no deterrence. “

She thought, if I say those words without thinking, it will make me burn forever and misunderstand me. Over the past 6 months, both People’s Artist Kim Xuan and her husband, apart from sad times, thought that their son did it once, but that was true.

“Firstly, Huy Luan and Thanh Phuong’s work hours are erratic, if they keep going home like this will affect their parents’ sleep, so they don’t want to disturb their parents. Fortunately, my son and daughter-in-law’s house is located in District 1, very convenient for their work.

Secondly, I remember myself from a few years ago and see, I myself also dreamed of having a private space so that my husband and I could freely joke around, speak loudly, and argue all opinions without. afraid of being known by parents. So it is true that I am sentimental about boys asking to live separately, but up to now, after 6 years have passed, I feel that their decisions are correct and I respect their decisions “, the female artist confided.
