This is Xiao Yu’s travel diary, stop and go, and watch Xi’an with me. I have walked the Qinling Mountains more often, and I have encountered many abandoned houses in the Qinling Mountains. Some of them are factory buildings and some are old houses. Although they are now deserted, they have discovered one story after another. Most of these abandoned houses were accidentally encountered while walking in the Qinling Mountains. But this time, we made a special drive to an abandoned old factory in the Qinling Mountains, just to find a thousand-year-old tree. ps: The stories of those abandoned Qinling houses: Explore the uninhabited village of Qinling in Xi’an, the scenery is beautiful, but there is no one in the village The mysterious yard deep in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi was once a ruined factory dormitory, destined to have an extraordinary experience This abandoned old factory is located in Baijiaping Village, Wangchuan Town, Lantian County. It was originally the No. 14 factory compound of Xiangyang Company. Xiangyang Company is now the Fourth Research Institute (Siyi Research Institute) of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. After moving to Tianhong Street, Baqiao District, Xi’an in the early 1990s, the original old factory building was completely abandoned. Time has moved forward for more than a thousand years, and this land is where the Luyuan Temple in the Tang Dynasty is located. The great poet Wang Wei planted a ginkgo tree here, which is still lush and lush. The Luyuan Temple has disappeared, and the old factory building has been abandoned. Only it is stationed here, witnessing the time… Wangchuan is a river in the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, more than 10 kilometers southeast of Lantian County. It is located in the valley between the Yaoshan Mountains in the Qinling Mountains. The name of Wang Chuan in Tang Dynasty has been preserved to this day. The mountain stream here has many small streams gathering here, shaped like wheels, hence the name Wangchuan. In ancient times, this place was the only place to pass through Guanzhong to Chu, and it was close to the “Languan Ancient Road” and was known as “the key point of Qin and Chu and the barrier of the three supplements.” Wangchuan, surrounded by mountains and rivers, is also a scenic spot for dignitaries, scribes, and savorers. It is known as the “Zhonglantian, the best of South China, and Wangchuan for those who thrive.” The great poet Wang Wei took a fancy to Wangchuan, bought his friend Song Zhiwen’s villa in Zhongnan Mountain, and built his own “Wangchuan Other Industry”. Wang Wei’s love for Wangchuan has condensed into the famous “Mangchuan Collection”. Those poems that have been passed down for thousands of years have also made the mountains and rivers of Wangchuan enter the hearts of many visitors. Wangchuan Bieye has disappeared, and Wang Wei’s tomb is nowhere to be found. As a result, this ginkgo plant of more than 1,200 years has placed too many emotions on it, and it has become a must-see place for tourists to come to Lantian Wangchuan. The ancient tree is not far from the Wangchuan Expressway, but there is no obvious sign. It took us a lot of setbacks to find it. Unexpectedly, it is not the most beautiful ginkgo season, and it also attracts many tourists by car. This Wang Wei hand-planted ginkgo tree is 20 meters high and has a chest circumference of 5.2 meters. The tree is more than 1,200 years old. It is now a first-class protected ancient tree. Standing under the tree and looking up, I only feel that it is lush and covered with pavilions, full of vitality. The ginkgo and the abandoned factory buildings set against each other, giving birth to a sort of blending of ancient and modern. Time goes by, the vicissitudes of life, the ancient trees can survive to this day, it is also fortunate. Finally, I will talk about some useful travel information, friends who want to come can refer to: 1. The location of Wang Wei’s hand planting ginkgo is in the No. 14 factory area of Xiangyang Company, Baijiaping Village, Wangchuan Town, Lantian County. The navigation can locate “Baijiaping Village”. After arriving, it is only a 35-minute drive from the ancient ginkgo. You can ask fellow villagers along the way, it is easy to find. 2. The car can drive directly under the ancient ginkgo tree, and there are parking lots nearby. There are no tickets or parking fees. 3. It is recommended that you can visit the Wangchuan cave in tandem. Wangchuan cave is also a free scenic spot. The specific strategy is here:One hour from Xi’an, this Qinling wonder is amazing! It’s free for unpopular ones, have you ever been If you want to learn more about popular and fun tourist destinations, you are welcome to pay attention to “Xiaoyu’s Travel Diary”.

This is Xiao Yu’s travel diary, stop and go, and watch Xi’an with me. After several days of rain, it finally turned fine on the weekend. The temperature is not high and the weather is clear, which is a good time to travel. Today, Xiaoyu recommends a geological wonder of the Qinling Mountains. There are no tickets here. It is relatively unpopular. It is only about an hour’s drive from Xi’an city. It is very suitable for a day trip to the surrounding area. This is the Wangchuan cave. Wangchuan Karst Cave is located in Wangchuan Town, Lantian County. It takes about an hour to reach by car from Xi’an City. The town of Wangchuan has a long history and beautiful environment. The great poet Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty once lived in Wangchuan and left many classic poems. At present, the whole town is building a “poetry and painting town”, and the scenery along the way is quite good. Wangchuan Karst Cave is considered one of the most famous scenic spots in Wangchuan Town. Tickets were originally collected here. Later, due to the admission-free policy of all scenic spots in Lantian County, it has now been opened to tourists for free. PS. Every time I recommend Lantian scenic spots to everyone, I cannot help boasting the Lantian government. As the only county in Shaanxi that announces that all state-owned scenic spots are free of admission, it definitely deserves our visitors’ praise. Although it is a free attraction, the quality of Wangchuan cave is quite high. This is not only a geological wonder of the Qinling Mountains, but also “the home of ancient humans.” In addition, it is an unpopular scenic spot and there are not many tourists. Personally, I think the tourism experience is good. There are two caves that can be visited in Wangchuan Cave: Xishui Cave and Lingyun Cave. These two natural caves are on the mountainside of two mountain peaks, and both need to climb mountains to reach them. This period of mountain climbing is not long, and it can be reached within half an hour at a normal speed. The mountain roads are all built stone steps, although it takes some physical effort, but fortunately, the high cliffs and ancient trees on both sides are still very cool. Xishui Cave is the first natural cave developed by Wangchuan Karst Cave. Archaeologists have discovered the remains of ancient humans in this cave, so it is also a cultural relics protection unit in Shaanxi Province. According to legend, Han Xiangzi, one of the Taoist Eight Immortals, used to cultivate immortals in Xishui Cave, so now the outer hall of the cave still enshrines Han Xiangzi. With the outer hall facing inward, it is a natural cave that can accommodate thousands of people. The scene is quite shocking. Lingyun Cave is a series of caves, with a total of 8 floors above and below, and hundreds of stone landscapes. Everything in our eyes is full of vivid stalactites in various shapes and shapes. We are in them, and we are constantly sighing for the supernatural workmanship of nature! When visiting Lingyun Cave, visitors need to walk slowly from the top hall to the bottom, and then climb up from the other side of the passage. The most dangerous places can only be passed by one person, which is quite enjoyable. In addition to watching the magical geological wonders, many ancient trees growing on the cliffs can be seen in the Wangchuan cave scenic area. Some of them are too magical and have become the landmarks of the scenic area, attracting many tourists to make special trips. Finally, I will talk about some useful travel information, friends who want to come can refer to: 1. Tickets for the Wangchuan Cave are free, and the parking fee is 10 yuan. 2. If you come to play, you can directly navigate to the “Wangchuan Karst Cave”. From Xi’an, you can take the high-speed or national highway. The whole journey takes about 1~1 and a half hours. 3. There is a gingko planted by Wang Wei in a 20-minute drive from Wangchuan Cave. Interested friends can drop by. If you want to learn more about popular and fun tourist destinations, you are welcome to pay attention to “Xiaoyu’s Travel Diary”.
When visiting the ancient city of Fengzhou, you can look up at the Xiaocai Temple on Douji Mountain in the opposite Qinling Mountains. I saw many temples lined up on the entire cliff, and there are cave temples embedded in the mountain, majestic, majestic and magnificent. So we decided to visit the ancient city of Fengzhou and go to Xiaocai Temple to find out. PS. For the specific content of the ancient city of Fengzhou, you can read my last travel note:There is an “abandoned” ancient city deep in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi. It used to be prosperous for more than 2,200 years, but now it is only lonely. As a result, while strolling in the ancient city of Fengzhou, I chatted with the local fellow and talked about the next itinerary. The fellow told us sadly: The big Buddha in Xiaocai Temple has been demolished, and there is nothing to look at inside, so there is no need to spend money to go. At that time, I thought that maybe the fellow villagers saw it every day, and I didn’t think this thousand-year-old temple was rare. It wasn’t until we finished visiting the Xiaocai Temple that we understood why the fellow villager was so sorry… Xiaofan Temple was originally an ancient grotto temple, inlaid on the cliffs of Douji Mountain in Qinling Mountains, facing Fengzhou ancient city across the Jialing River. The ancient temple was built in the Western Han Dynasty and prospered in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It has a history of more than 1,400 years. The fame of Xiaoba Temple is related to two celebrities. First, Zhang Guolao, one of the Eight Immortals of Taoism, once lived and practiced here in seclusion, and the Guolao Cave where Zhang Guolao cultivated immortals still remains in the temple; later in the Tang Dynasty, Tang Xuanzong used to pray here for blessings and disasters when he avoided misfortune and history. This ancient grotto temple deep in the Qinling Mountains is well-known. The thousand-year-old ancient temple with such a profound heritage has flourished for a long time, and it has continued to this day. Xiaofan Temple is only more than 10 kilometers away from the county seat of Fengxian County, and is on the side of Provincial Highway 212, the only way from Baoji to Fengxian, so it is very famous and has many tourists. When the tourism development of Feng County is booming, this is also one of the main attractions of the county. But I didn’t expect that when we came again this time, we saw a disaster-eliminating temple that was completely different from what we imagined. Before entering the scenic spot, we noticed the signs on the side of Provincial Highway 212 and the big archway in the scenic square. The names have been changed from the original “Xiaosha Temple” to “Fengzhou Ancient City” and “Ancient Fengzhou”. The introduction to the scenic spot in the square only introduces the ancient city of Fengzhou, without mentioning the Xiaocai Temple. Passing through the archway, the square is empty. The fountain sculpture of Lotus Guanyin seen in the travel notes before seems to have been demolished. Buy a ticket to enter the scenic spot, the original 50 yuan ticket is now 25 yuan. The staff at the scenic spot told us that all halls were closed due to the epidemic. Facts have proved that not only that, but the old temple of Xiaocai Temple (Xiao Temple) that could have been visited has been closed, and Guo Lao Cave can only be viewed from a distance. The area was fenced off. The only area that tourists can reach is the Yaowang Palace. To enter the scenic spot, you need to walk across a long chain bridge across the Jialing River. At the end of the bridge, there is a straight staircase leading to a magnificent hall. On the upper left side of the hall is the cave ruins where Zhang Guolao practiced and lived in seclusion. This is also one of the most filmed places in the entire scenic spot. From the ancient city of Fengzhou, we can see a straight stone staircase from a distance. On the stone staircase is a magnificent hall with magnificent grandeur. However, when I walked closer, I discovered that this stone ladder was no longer accessible, and a large area of mud-rock landslides could be seen in the area on the left (pictured below). So we walked across the suspension bridge, and we walked towards the Yaowang Palace. There are lush vegetation along the way, but there are many construction wastes everywhere, and it looks like it has not been maintained for a long time. We arrived at a scenic spot called “Shenquan of Immortality”. There was originally a waterfall rushing down the stone steps from the mountain, but unfortunately it has dried up now. If there is water, it should be quite spectacular! When I walked to the “Pharmaceutical Hall”, it seemed that the momentum was quite magnificent. Although this hall was renovated in 2008, it is said that the incense has been flourishing. The fellow said that a big Buddha was originally enshrined in it, but unfortunately it has now been demolished. When we came, the gate of the Pharmacist’s Hall was closed and we could only stroll around. As a result, in the core area of the Xiaocai Temple that can only be reached by tourists, there is a scene of decay and dilapidation everywhere. Garbage and waste can be found everywhere and discarded at will. We even have the feeling of an abandoned ancient temple in the mountains. Behind the Yaowang Hall, and on the highest point of Douji Mountain, is Xiaosi, the earliest ancient temple for eliminating disasters. “Xiaosi Morning Bell” is said to be one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Fengxian County. But this time, the road through Xiaosi is closed and tourists can no longer reach it. When turning back from the original path of the Medicine King Hall, we stood on the high platform of the Hall, still amazed by the picture in front of us. Surrounded by the endless Qinling Mountains, the Jialing River flows slowly through the middle. Rows of houses in the ancient city of Fengzhou extend from the banks of the Jialing River to the foot of the Qinling Mountains, looking very magnificent. It also relieved our depressed mood. In less than an hour, we have visited all the sights of Xiaocai Temple that can be visited. Speaking from the heart, Xiaocai Temple has a profound humanistic background, and it also has a unique natural landscape. But now it is like an abandoned scenic spot (although it still holds tickets), and it is full of dilapidated scenes. In the square at the entrance of the scenic spot, it seems that the “elimination temple” is no longer mentioned, only the “Fengzhou ancient city” is mentioned. I don’t know what the next step will be for this thousand-year-old temple in the depths of the Qinling Mountains?
In the past two years, “Xi’an Night View” has been frequently searched. Especially the night scenes of the scenic spots in the Great Tang Dynasty City and Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square have transformed the ancient capital of Xi’an into Chang’an, the prosperous Tang Dynasty, attracting many tourists to check in. I have seen the night view of Xi’an, but I did not expect that I went to the small county town of Qinling and was still amazed by the night view here. Among the many small cities in the Qinling Mountains that I have walked through, this place should be the place with the most beautiful night view. I wonder if you have been there yet? It is – Fengxian. Fengxian, known as Fengzhou in ancient times, is located in the hinterland of the Qinling Mountains and at the source of the Jialing River. It is a place named after the Phoenix. Although Fengxian belongs to the Guanzhong city of Baoji, it is located at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains and already belongs to the south in the geographical sense. In history, Zhongfeng County is the only place from Chang’an to Bashu. The old road, Lianyun, and Baoxie all pass through here, because it also left many cultural monuments. Coupled with the unique natural resources, tourism development is still doing well. A few years ago, I heard that the night view of Fengxian County is very beautiful. This time I came here in person and found that it is indeed worthy of praise. Like many Qinling county towns, the area of Fengxian county town is not large. The county seat is located in a valley surrounded by mountains, the Jialing River flows through the middle, and residential buildings are built along both banks of the Jialing River. That is to use this section of the Jialing River that flows through the county seat, Fengxian built the 4A scenic spot Phoenix Lake. The best time to appreciate Phoenix Lake is at night. There is a large-scale waterscape, light and music show on the lake. The houses and bridges on both sides of the lake and the Qinling Mountains are also decorated with gorgeous lights. The overall combination is very beautiful. The above picture shows the Starlight Waterfall and the artificial moon. A 1 million square meter star waterfall is arranged on one of the peaks of the Qinling Mountains (data from the official introduction, haha), and there is also a round of “artificial moon”. At night, the sky is full of stars, and the scene is still very beautiful. The weather was good when we went, so there were two moons, which looked a bit buggy. However, the artificial moon is capable of moving. According to the change of cloudy and sunny, from the crescent to the full moon, the creativity is quite good. The picture below is a large fountain, which is said to be 184 meters high, once the highest in Asia (it has now been surpassed). I shot it when it was the highest. After dinner, we felt very comfortable when we strolled along the banks of Phoenix Lake. The spring breeze came with a little moisture, and the dazzling lights on both sides of the strait could not help but take out the camera to take pictures. When we came, the local villager in Fengxian told us that because the Jialing River was in high water, the waterscape music and light show was not sure whether it would be performed. We strolled around the county town, took a look at the 184-meter high spray, and found that there was no follow-up performance, so we went back to the hotel. I thought I was sorry to miss it, but I didn’t expect that at 9pm, the performance would start as usual. And we live next to Phoenix Lake, and the hotel just happened to be able to see the scene of the performance, so we took a small bench and sat in the hotel to watch the entire water curtain show. The effect is really amazing! There is a sculpture of a phoenix spreading its wings on the water of Phoenix Lake. From the sculpture to the covered bridge at the back, it becomes the core area of the entire water curtain show. With the music, the water surface changes into different colors of phoenix, which fits perfectly with the theme of “Colorful Feng County”. After the light show, the fountain started, and the entire lake surface would finally spray up, swinging with the music, and the scene was quite shocking. Among the many counties in the Qinling Mountains, Fengxian’s tourism development started relatively early. The slogan at that time was “The Most Beautiful Small Town in Qinling”, of course “the most” is not easy to say, but the night view of this county town is still quite beautiful. Visiting the surrounding attractions during the day, and seeing a stunning light show at night when you return to the county town, it feels quite comfortable. If you have the opportunity to come to Fengxian County, it is recommended to live in a homestay next to Phoenix Lake, find a room with a lake view, and lie down in the house to see the panoramic view. The experience is super good. If you want to learn more about popular and fun tourist destinations, you are welcome to pay attention to “Xiaoyu’s Travel Diary”.

Today, the area around the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains, which is sparsely populated, is still an economically backward area. So when I took a green train and crossed the high mountains of the Qinling Mountains to the junction of the three provinces of Shaan, Gansu and Sichuan, I realized that there was an ancient city that had been prosperous for thousands of years. It is the ancient city of Fengzhou. Before the “May Day” holiday, I went for a slow trip to Qinling. Departing from Xi’an, take a green leather train along the Baocheng Railway all the way south to Fengxian, Baoji. The Baocheng Railway is a traffic artery connecting the Great Northwest and the Great Southwest, and it is also the first electrified railway in my country. The section from Baoji Station to Fengxian Station is the most difficult and dangerous section of the entire Baocheng Railway. Along the way, it passes through the Qinling tunnel group and the scenery is amazing. It also makes me sigh the vastness of the Qinling Mountains and the hardships of the Baocheng Railway project. Arrive at the previous station in Fengxian, passing by the “Fengzhou” station. A friend who has been to Fengxian told me that Fengzhou is the old county seat of Fengxian, and it was also an ancient city with a long history. But now it is “downgraded” into a village, and not many people know it. So when we returned, we deliberately came to the ancient city of Fengzhou, looking for the imprint of time in this “abandoned” thousand-year-old city… The history of the ancient city of Fengzhou can be traced back to the establishment of the “Gudao County” in the early Qin Dynasty. In 1951, the county government moved from Fengzhou to Shuangshipu Town. Despite military disputes and dynasties, Fengzhou has always been the seat of the state, county, and county. Historically, it has governed the Guangyuan area of Sichuan and southeastern Gansu, and has been the political, economic, and cultural center of the region for more than 2,200 years. After the relocation of the county seat in 1951, this thousand-year-old city declined to its lowest point in history-becoming an administrative village in Fengzhou Town. The location of the ancient city of Fengzhou can be described as “by the mountain and by the water”. The first picture in the article was taken by me standing in the scenic spot of Xiaocai Temple opposite the ancient city of Fengzhou. From a high place, you can clearly see that this thousand-year-old city is surrounded by the peaks of the Qinling Mountains, and the Jialing River flows slowly from the side…Houses lined up to the north of the Qinling Phoenix Ridge, and several sections of Fengzhou’s soil can be seen on the west. Ruins of the city wall. Today, the Provincial Highway 212 and the Baocheng Railway “sandwich” Fengzhou between the north and the south; in ancient times, this was the place where Baoxie Road, Lianyun Road and the old road leading to Sichuan and Tianshui in Gansu must pass. In the depths of the Qinling Mountains, the thousand-year-old city that connects Shaan, Gansu and Sichuan seems to be blocked from traffic. According to the “Fengxian County Chronicles”, after the opening of the plank road across the Qinling Mountains, merchants from north to south gathered here, and more and more inns and restaurants in Fengzhou City. In the early years of the Republic of China, Fengzhou City had more than ten large business houses, silver shops, and silver shops, more than ten grocery and cloth shops, and oil shops, hotels, and dye shops. Business was booming. Dongguan was particularly prosperous, and the north-south travels were particularly prosperous. The merchants live here, and inns and inns are often full.” So, what is left in Fengzhou today? From the county seat of Fengxian County, take the bus No. 6 and get off at Xiaocai Temple Station, and you can see that the cliffs of the majestic Douji Mountain are “inlaid” with many splendid Buddhist temples. The former Fengzhou ancient city is directly opposite to Xiaocai Temple. We randomly found an alley and walked into it. At the end of the alley is the Qinling Phoenix Ridge, and the back is the Qinling Douji Mountain. Looking up, I really feel that this is an ancient city hidden in the arms of the Qinling Mountains. Although Fengzhou is now downgraded to a village, its scale is much larger than I thought. The overall layout of the village is like a chessboard with many lanes. We walked around as we wanted, and we also encountered many old houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The architectural style of residential buildings in Fengzhou is different from that of southern Shaanxi, but somewhat similar to the style of Guanzhong courtyard. However, due to land reform and other reasons, although many old houses can be seen as a courtyard layout, they are no longer owned by one household, but are divided into several households. And there are more old houses, some of them have become dilapidated houses, and some of them are empty and seem to be deserted. We went around Fengzhou Village in a big circle. There were no traces of the county government, Guangfo Temple, casino, smoking house, brothel, etc., which were recorded in history. Only beside the Fengzhou Memorial Hall on the east side of the village, we saw the complex The built Chenghuang Temple and Confucian Temple. You need to buy tickets to enter these two buildings. After a glance at the brand new exterior walls, we left. Follow the village to the north, and you can walk to the Guangcheng Railway. This is the highest part of the village, and originally there were ruins of the city wall. Probably because of the construction of the Guangcheng Railway, the ruins of the ancient city wall disappeared. According to the “Fengxian County Chronicles”, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the amount of silver spent on urban construction in Fengzhou alone was 16,668 taels. The original city wall of Fengzhou City had a perimeter of four li, two feet and five feet high, and one foot and five feet wide. There were 848 brick stacks and three towers in the east, west and north. Now we can only see the ruins of the former city wall on the west side of the village. Those lonely loess walls are probably proof that the ancient city of Fengzhou was once brilliant… For a long period of time in history, the ancient city of Fengzhou was the economic and cultural center of the upper reaches of the Jialing River at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains. . Nowadays, if it were not for the reminder of the signs beside Provincial Highway 212, few people would know that there is such a prosperous ancient city in the depths of the Qinling Mountains… It is said that Fengxian is already preparing to build the “Fengzhou Ancient City” and hope to make it Build a 5A scenic spot. I don’t know what it will look like when it’s goodbye?
As a Xiaobai-level “alise friend”, I finally completed the third trip across the Qinling Mountains in Xi’an. On this trip to the Qinling Mountains, we spent 10 hours walking through the deep mountains of the Qinling Mountains. We encountered the sea of flowers and waterfalls, as well as forests and ancient temples. The scenery was primitive and shocking. If it is you, would you like to take a trip? First release the whole route: Xi’an Shangwang Village-Miyan Temple-Huangyugou-Huangyugou Reservoir-Huangyu Temple Village (Cuiwei Palace Site)-Reclining Buddha Temple-Jingye Temple-Fengyukou- Xi’an This is a classic Qinling crossing route in Xi’an. The total distance is about 13 kilometers, and the degree of difficulty is not particularly large. Because there are a lot of people who have passed by, there are ribbons left by various outdoor climbing clubs along the way, which have just become road signs, so as long as you have a certain physical strength and outdoor foundation, you should be able to complete the crossing. This route has both beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage, so it is worth a special trip! The first section: Shangwang Village-Huangyusi Village The whole journey is 7 kilometers, with beautiful scenery along the way. A Jinsha River has always been with us, and has formed large and small pools and waterfalls. Large areas of purple pansy, yellow pansy, and Tangdi flowers bloom in the valley, making me really feel the soft and beautiful side of the Da Qinling. It is worth noting that if you have poor physical strength and don’t want to take the complete route, coming to this Huangyugou to stop and go is also a good leisure experience. My friend and I met at Weiqunan Station on Metro Line 2 early in the morning and took bus 334 to Shangwang Village at 8:30. Passing through Shangwang Village, before entering Huangyugou, I encountered the first ancient temple-Miyan Temple. The Miyan Temple has a long history, but the temple I see today was rebuilt in the 1980s. Perhaps because it was too early, the temple did not open the door, so I took a picture from a distance and moved on. After passing the Miyan Temple, you will enter the Huangyugou. One kilometer ahead, you can see the Huangyugou Reservoir as if a piece of emerald embedded in the mountains. After passing the reservoir, the mountaineering trip officially began. The first 5 kilometers of this route are relatively smooth, with little elevation, and always walk along the mountain valley road. The Jinsha River accompanies us all the way, forming the beautiful scenery of waterfalls and lakes. I think coming here in summer will definitely be very cool! The valley is also full of various mountain flowers, among which purple pansy, yellow pansy, and tangy’s flowers are the most. Accompanied by streams and crossing flower valleys, such spring scenery of Qinling Mountains is truly unforgettable for us. The last 2 kilometers began to rise, and the slope reached more than 45 degrees. After walking a few steps, we were out of breath, gritted our teeth all the way, and finally turned around and we climbed onto a mountain platform. This is where the Huangyu Temple Cuiwei Palace site is located! The second section: 10,000 mu of azalea plum blossom sea in Huangyusi Village Huangyusi Village is located on a hilltop platform of Cuiwei Mountain in Qinling Mountains at 1,200 meters above sea level. In the early Tang Dynasty, this was the leisure summer palace of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin-Cuiwei Palace. The hilltop platform we saw when we climbed up from Huangyugou (pictured below) is said to be the site of the ruins of several main halls of Cuiwei Palace. Walking into the village, we also met the most tourists on this journey. Because Huangyusi Village can be reached directly by car by car, you can drive up the mountain along a dirt road called “Dahaogou” on the east side of the mountain 3 kilometers into Fengyukou. Right now is the time when the Baijuan plum blossoms. Huangyusi Village is the largest and densest area of Baijuan plum in the Qinling Mountains of Xi’an, so it attracts a large number of tourists to come to enjoy the flowers. Regarding the specific content of Baijuan Plum in Huangyusi Village, you can refer to my last travel note, and I won’t repeat it here.Beautiful!Xi’an’s Qinling Baijuan plum resembles a “sea of snow”, and you can drive straight to the top of the mountain. It’s just right to go now The third section: Huangyusi Village-Reclining Buddha Temple-Jingye Temple Crossing the sea of white cuckoo plum blossoms, we headed all the way towards the Reclining Buddha Temple and opened the famous “Three Temples Linking”. This section of the road is about 6 kilometers, and the whole journey is downwards, so the overall journey is relatively easy. However, there are gravel in some sections along the way, so hiking shoes are a must. From Huangyusi Village to Wat Pho Temple, it takes about 3 kilometers and takes 1 hour. The Reclining Buddha Temple is located on the top of Qingshan Hua, and is also a thousand-year-old temple with a long history. Its most magical location is that there is a reclining Buddha that is not known when it was excavated. This reclining Buddha is 11.6 meters in length and is known as one of the “Four Large Indoor Stone Buddhas in China”. Regarding the specific content of Wat Pho, you can read my other tourist article:The thousand-year-old temple in the Qinling Mountains of Xi’an, on the top of the cliff at an altitude of 1,300 meters, the five-story building is too magnificent There is a farmhouse below the Reclining Buddha Temple. There are two fork roads beside the farmhouse. One road goes to Qinghua Mountain and the other goes to Jingye Temple. Both routes can go down the mountain, we chose the latter. It is about 3 kilometers from Wat Pho to Jingye Temple and it takes 1 hour. Walking in the depths of the dense forest, we feel the beauty of Qinling’s spring greenery. Jingye Temple is the ancestor of Buddhism Law School, with a profound background. Friends who pay attention to me will find that I have visited Jingye Temple many times and recorded the cultural landscape of this thousand-year-old temple. But this is the first time I have come here, and it feels very different. When I arrived at Jingye Temple, it was already 6 o’clock in the afternoon. It takes half an hour to walk from the Jingye Temple to the bottom of the mountain, so I hurriedly bid farewell to it without taking a closer look. Before leaving, I was standing on the platform in front of the ancient temple and took a bird’s-eye view of Qinling 210 National Highway. You see, the Qinling Mountains at this time are already green. We started to enter the mountain from Huangyugou at 9 in the morning and left Jingye Temple at 6:30 in the evening. We walked violently in the Qinling Mountains for 10 hours. Although we were tired, we were full of gains. Encountered too many beautiful scenery, this trip is also considered to be a complete one. Finally, I would like to talk about useful travel information, friends who want to come can refer to: 1. From Xi’an to Shangwang Village, take bus 332/334 from Weiqunan Station of Metro Line 2 and get off at “Shangwang Village”. 2. Back to Xi’an from Jingye Temple, it takes half an hour to walk from Jingye Temple to Fengyukou 1km. From Fengyukou, take No. 735 to Huanshan Road, transfer to No. 332/334, and arrive at Weiqunan Station. If you want to learn more about popular and fun tourist destinations, you are welcome to pay attention to “Xiaoyu’s Travel Diary”. Let’s discover more beautiful scenery in the world with Xiaoyu!

After seeing the ten thousand mu of white cuckoo plum blossom sea in Huangyusi Village, Qinling, we decided to cross the Reclining Buddha Temple, and then go down the mountain via Jingye Temple to complete a day trip across the Qinling Mountains. The road from Huangyusi Village to the Reclining Buddha Temple is not difficult to walk, the whole walk along the ridge path, there is no significant elevation, and the physical strength is not great. One hour later, he arrived at the location of Wat Pho. I have heard the name “Reclining Buddha Temple” long ago because it is too famous in the circle of Xi’an travel friends. It is an important landmark of the Qinling classic trekking route “Three Temples” (Jingye Temple, Reclining Buddha Temple, Huangyu Temple) one. When we arrived at Wat Pho, it was almost 4:30 in the afternoon. My friend and I hesitated whether or not to go to Wat Pho. After all, we still want to get out of the mountain before dark, and the route from Reclining Buddha Temple to Jingye Temple is the first time we walked. I don’t know what the road conditions are. After hesitating, I turned my head and saw the Reclining Buddha Temple hovering on the top of the Qinling Mountains, between which a five-story building stood proudly, its magnificence is staggering. Immediately reached an agreement with a friend: go! Go up and have a look! ps. For the specific strategy of the white cuckoo plum blossom sea in Huangyusi Village, you can read my last travel note:Beautiful!Xi’an’s Qinling Baijuan plum resembles a “sea of snow”, and you can drive straight to the top of the mountain. It’s just right to go now The location of the Reclining Buddha Temple is on the top of Qinghua Mountain, above Daiding, which is about 1,300 meters above sea level. The Wat Pho was built at the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, with a history of more than 1,300 years. The most famous cultural relic of the ancient temple and the source of its name is a Reclining Buddha with a length of 11.6 meters and a height of 3 meters. It is also one of the “Four Large Stone Buddhas in the Interior”. It was not until we entered the ancient temple that we found that the location of the Wat Pho was extremely precarious. The entire temple was built on a large granite roof, and built on the mountain. According to the terrain, the mountain gate, the Jade Emperor Building, the east and west halls, and the apse were built. The area between each courtyard is small, and the two sides of the hall are small. It is a cliff. The core building is the five-story building we see from below. This building is attached to the cliff, somewhat similar to the feeling of a cave temple. Each floor is enshrined with different Buddha statues, and the ground is paved with wooden boards. The bottom layer is the grotto of the Tathagata Reclining Buddha, which is also the treasure of the temple of the Reclining Buddha. This Tathagata reclining Buddha is 11.6 meters long and 2.3 meters wide. The Buddha’s head is facing east and the feet are facing west, lying in a four-square grotto. Its right arm is bent back, and the palm is stretched out under the head. The sculpture is very exquisite. From the outside, the reclining Buddha seems to be composed of four parts: the head of the Buddha, the breast, the belly, and the legs of the Buddha. In fact, looking through the gaps in the grotto, you will find that it is a whole, completely carved on a rock wall. However, there is no historical record of when this stone Buddha was carved, and how the ancients took so much time to carve such a giant Buddha on the top of Qinghua Mountain at an altitude of 1,300 meters in the Qinling Mountains. This has also become an unsolved mystery of the Qinghua Mountain Reclining Buddha Temple. After visiting the Reclining Buddha Grottoes, follow a path between the cliffs to go directly back to the Shanmen Temple. Looking back at the five-story building, I found that there was a white bark pine on the cliff facing each other. Later, when I asked the old man in the temple, I was told that this white pine tree was more than 1,000 years old. The ancient tree with the reclining Buddha, probably only it knows the “secret” of this Tathagata reclining Buddha! Finally, I will talk about some useful travel information, friends who want to come can refer to: The Reclining Buddha Temple is located on the top of the Qinghua Mountain in Xi’an. You need to purchase a 10 yuan incense ticket to enter the temple. The Reclining Buddha Temple is connected to many classic crossing routes in the Qinling Mountains, so we did not purchase the scenic spot tickets when we passed through the Reclining Buddha Temple. If you go up from Qinghua Mountain, you need to buy Qinghua Mountain 20 yuan ticket.
