To achieve this standard, a Data Center system must ensure uptime (uptime) of 99.982% or more and downtime (downtime) not more than 1.6 hours per year.

In addition, this system must be capable of redundancy to still be able to operate if the power is lost for up to 72 consecutive hours.

To meet the strict standards of Uptime Institute, ecoDC uses 100% of infrastructure equipment from two strategic partners, Delta and Arista.

Besides, this Data Center also uses an inrow cooling system. This is an energy saving technology for the first time deployed in Vietnam with the ability to control the cooling temperature to each server.

Vietnam currently has a total of 5 Data Center systems meeting Uptime Tier 3 standards. However, these systems only meet Uptime Tier 3 standard in terms of design.

Sharing at this event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said that the ecoDC data center meeting both Uptime Tier 3 standards in design and operation is a serious work result of HTC-ITC.
