Milia – rice wart (also known as sweat gland tumor) has the scientific name siringoma. Acne usually appears around the eyes, sometimes spreading to the forehead, neck, chest and back…. At first, the acne is white, then it gets bigger and thicker. Although milia around the eyes do not cause pain, inflammation and do not affect eye health, they make women’s skin rough and look older.

The cause of this symptom is a disorder of subcutaneous metabolism. The collagen system is the colloidal network under the epidermis that gives the skin its shape. When the skin is dehydrated, the pores become clogged, causing the residue to accumulate, creating acne spots. Proper nutrition and natural remedies can help you get rid of acne easily. Treat acne with potatoes Potatoes help you treat acne at home very quickly. Potatoes both have the effect of fading freckles and are an effective way to get rid of acne in the eyes if you know how to apply. Take 2 fresh potatoes, wash them and cut them into thin slices, rub them directly on the skin around the eyes with a gentle massage to let the blood circulate. Apply this formula 3-4 times after 1 month to remove all ugly acne from your face. Treat acne with lettuce Lettuce has the effect of enhancing blood circulation, preventing acne on the face and beautifying the skin. How to do it: Crush the leaves, squeeze out the water, mix with a little rice bran, add a few drops of olive oil, apply on your face for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Do it regularly, you will be quite surprised at the effect it brings. Wishing you success in killing acne to own smooth, shiny skin.

The striped fish is a catfish with scientific name (Pangasius macronema), this is a fish with high economic value in the market. Currently, this fish species occurs in the wild quite few and concentrated in provinces such as An Giang, Dong Thap, Vinh Long and Can Tho city. In order to develop the economy, recently, many farmers in some provinces in the upstream of the Mekong River have caught fish in the wild and brought back to raise them in rafts on the Tien and Hau rivers with industrial food for sale. commodity. Currently, striped fish is sold in the market at a high price of 120,000 – 130,000 VND/kg, while in restaurants the price is from 250,000 to 300,000 VND/kg. For the first time, successfully artificially reproduced freshwater striped fish.

The feeling of colliding with thousands of soft creatures in the lake makes many visitors feel excited.
Palau is a small island nation, consisting of nearly 250 large and small islands with an area of 466 square kilometers. Among these is a small island called Eil Mul. Because it is located in the middle of a cluster of famous tourist islands such as Fiji, Bora Bora or Cook Island, most people often ignore this place. Because of that, Eil Mul becomes great for those who want to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing vacation on a beautiful tropical island that is also absolutely peaceful.

(Photo: iExplore) Not only beautiful and peaceful, this island also owns a mysterious lake called Jellyfish Lake – Jellyfish Lake. Until now, science has not been able to explain why there are millions of jellyfish living here. (Photo: Flick) Jellyfish Lake is up to 12,000 years old, and probably has existed since the ice age. About 12,000 years ago, when sea levels were at their peak, seawater flooded the area and filled the lowlands to form present-day Jellyfish Lake. Until the glaciers recede, the jellyfish and fishes have no place to live, they just freely grow in the lake, eat all the algae and gradually develop into unique jellyfish species, creating unique species of jellyfish. so the ecosystem is very diverse. (Photo: ABC News) (Photo: The Travel) There are only 2 types of jellyfish living here: golden jellyfish (scientific name is Mastigias papua) and moon jellyfish (lunar jellyfish – scientific name is Aurelia), the most crowded is the yellow jellyfish. They need sunlight to grow and survive, so they will move from east to west in the direction of sunrise and sunset. Until dark, they will dive deep to the bottom of the lake to rest, and so on this cycle repeats throughout the jellyfish’s life. (Photo: iExplore) To get to Jellyfish Lake, from the pier, visitors will have to cross a rather long slope. Right at the right time to stop to rest, the dark blue Jellyfish Lake also appeared in front of everyone. To observe jellyfish in the lake, visitors are only allowed to swim, snorkel and mask. Everyone has a strange feeling when swimming and interacting with countless jellyfish around: It’s quite ticklish, but it’s also very enjoyable. (Photo: Lonely Planet) (Photo: Reddit) (Photo: Viator) Although both species of jellyfish have stinging cells, they are generally not strong enough to cause injury to humans, so swimming in the lake is safe. This is not a big obstacle for adventurous travelers. Because the opportunity to swim in a space filled with golden jellyfish like this is something in life that not everyone can enjoy. Therefore, despite having to pay a lot of money, but every visitor coming here is very eager to experience swimming with these special lovely jellyfish.

When injured or under stress due to starvation, the immortal jellyfish will automatically shrink into small cysts, called polyps. Over time, they will ‘reincarnate’ back as jellyfish with the same genetic makeup as the old individual.

How do jellyfish form? Ms. Miranda Lowe, curator of the Natural History Museum, in London, England, said the life cycle of most jellyfish species is similar. As hermaphrodites, jellyfish have two gonads, male and female, located in the longitudinal gastric tube symmetrically across the gastric plane. Normally, a jellyfish goes through five stages in its life. First, the adult jellyfish will “lay” eggs and sperm into the water. These two cells combine to form a fertilized egg in water. The fertilized egg develops into a small larva, called a planula. It looks like a microscopic worm and can move freely through the water. The planula will look for a solid surface, such as the seabed, for shelter. During this time, it will develop a digestive system and be able to feed itself. Thanks to the right water and temperature conditions, the planula will turn into a polyp. Polyps sprout, multiplying themselves into large clumps that look like giant bushes. When the right conditions are met, the polyps release into many young jellyfish. After the jellyfish is produced, the polyp changes to a younger polyp form. Young jellyfish continue to grow into adults. Despite their unique beginnings, most jellyfish have a short life span, usually from a few hours to several months. Some species can live for several years. However, the immortal jellyfish (scientific name: Turritopsis Dohrnii) is outside this rule. The secret of “tricking” Death The Immortal Jellyfish is a jellyfish-like waterfowl, of the phylum Cnidaria, commonly found in the Mediterranean Sea or the Sea of Japan. It is shaped like a bell, with a diameter of about 4.5mm. The membrane of this jellyfish is quite thin, except for a little thick at the top. Their stomachs are relatively large, bright red in color. Young jellyfish are 1mm in diameter and have only 8 tentacles evenly spaced along the edge, while adults have 80-90 tentacles. Immortal jellyfish can reverse their life cycle when injured or starving to death. This means they could theoretically last forever. When physically damaged or under stress from starvation, the adult immortal jellyfish will transform the body’s tissues and circulatory system back to a polyp state. Because of the loss of tentacles and the ability to swim, polyps again settle to the sea floor. Over the next 24 – 36 hours, this polyp will develop into a new polyp, located in the early stages of the jellyfish. Then gradually, this polyp will hatch into a jellyfish. This phenomenon is compared to the life cycle of a butterfly. Instead of dying, the butterfly can transform back into a caterpillar and then from the cocoon, it will spread its wings again. The process behind the “rebirth” of the immortal jellyfish is a process of differentiated transformation, which is extremely rare in animals. According to research by scientists, cells in adult jellyfish and cells in polyps are different. The process of adult jellyfish shrinking into polyps allows it to form a new body, different from its original form. But the new adult jellyfish and the old jellyfish are genetically identical. Reversing the life cycle can be repetitive. In perfect habitat conditions, immortal jellyfish will never die of old age. Ms. Miranda commented: ‘We can be too focused on the large jellyfish. But little animals like this can provide a lot of great science about jellyfish and the natural world.” Diagram of the life cycle of a jellyfish. Faint existence Scientists think that the immortal jellyfish likely existed in the oceans long before the dinosaurs went extinct about 66 million years ago. But research on this animal only began in the 1980s. Immortal jellyfish were first discovered by scientists in 1883, but it was not until 100 years later, in 1980, that people accidentally discovered their immortality. University students Christian Sommer and Giorgio Bavestrello collected polyps from immortal jellyfish and watched them until the polyps turned into jellyfish. As immortal jellyfish mature, they assume that they must reproduce before they die. But unlike other species, they quickly turn back into polyps and settle to the bottom of the tank. Through observation, the two students realized that when under stress, this jellyfish would fall to the bottom of the tank and transform without fertilization or becoming a planula. This discovery led scientists to name the jellyfish Turritopsis Dohrnii the immortal jellyfish. However, not always immortal jellyfish can “fool” Death. They are the prey of many other animals such as sharks and turtles. The polyps of the immortal jellyfish are also defenseless against the pursuit of sea slugs or crustaceans. It is difficult to find out how long the immortal jellyfish can live. Immortal jellyfish are very sensitive, so laboratory studies are also fraught with challenges. Despite the difficulties, Mr. Shin Kubota, a Japanese scientist, has been raising immortal jellyfish since the 1990s. He commented that taking care of them is very time-consuming. Every day, he has to monitor the water temperature, the ambient temperature, the salinity of the water. The species’ favorite food is shrimp eggs, which must also be crushed. Kubota’s research shows that, in about two years in captivity, the immortal jellyfish have “rejuvenated” about 10 times. This jellyfish has a relatively secretive lifestyle, so their development is difficult to detect. Small size, translucent color, so immortal jellyfish are hard to see with the naked eye. Another reason the immortal jellyfish’s existence is overshadowed is that their existence does not have a negative impact on the environment. Also, in the treasure of human knowledge, the immortal jellyfish is still a mystery to be discovered in the future.

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on May 31 that the SARS-CoV-2 virus variants will be called according to the Greek alphabet to avoid stigmatizing the countries where they were first discovered.
The new naming system applies to variants of interest, of which the four most worrisome are in circulation and the latter are of concern.

“The new naming does not replace the scientific names of the variants, but can aid in public discussion,” said Maria Van Kerkhove, WHO technical team leader on Covid-19. Other SARS-CoV-2 variants of interest will be labeled with the words “Epsiloon”, “Zeta”, “Eta”, “Theta” and “Iota”. (Artwork: BBC) Under the new system, the British variant (B.1.1.7) is called “Alpha”, the South African variant (B.1.351) is “Beta”, the Brazilian variant (P1) is “Gamma”. The Indian variant B.1.617 is divided into sub-lineages, where the B.1.617.2 variant is called “Delta” and the B.1.617.1 variant is called “Kappa”. Names such as variant B.1.1.7.2 will continue to be used in scientific circles, because of the mutational information their names convey. “Despite their advantages, scientific names can be difficult to say and remember, and easily misinterpreted. As a result, people often refer to variants by the places where they were first discovered, causing stigma and discrimination,” according to the WHO statement. “To avoid this and simplify mass communication, WHO encourages authorities, national media and everyone else to use these new names,” the WHO said. The Greek alphabet has 24 letters and WHO has not yet planned what to do next if all 24 letters are used. According to AFP, “Epsilon”, “Zeta”, “Eta”, “Theta” and “Iota” are names for variants of interest.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Photo: Reuters As suggested by WHO, the COVID-19 mutation is called “British strain” or B.1.1.7 should be called “Alpha”, while the common mutant strain in South Africa is renamed “Beta” . The two Brazilian strains, called P.1 and P.2, became Gamma and Zeta, respectively, while the two subtypes of the “Indian variant”, B.1.617.1 and B.1.617.2, were called “Kappa” and “Delta”. Two other strains, first reported by the US in March of this year, were assigned the most difficult names to remember, “Epsilon” and “Iota”. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of WHO’s COVID-19 expert team, stressed that the new names will not replace the scientific name of the strain, because the scientific name is a complex combination of letters and numbers. Instead, the new name will make it easier for people to name variables in public discussions. At the same time, this will help remove the stigma against the country that first discovered the mutation. “No country should be discriminated against for detecting and reporting mutations,” and Van Kerkhove said. WHO List of VOCs of concern. List of Variants of Interest (VOI). In which, the first column is the new name proposed by WHO. The WHO’s new move comes in the context of India’s growing anger when the media calls the B.1.617 virus strain an “Indian variant”. India’s Health Ministry argued last month that the name freely used in the media was “misleading” because it was not a name designated by the WHO. Earlier, in February, Professor Salim Abdool Karim, then co-chair of South Africa’s Ministerial Advisory Committee on COVID-19, told CNN in an interview to stop calling the virus spreading. in his country is the “South African variant.” Instead, call it by its scientific name: 501Y.V2. The politically correct idea of WHO is supported by many countries. But it also confuses many people. Some observers argue that Greek letters are actually not that easy to remember. While others point out that the WHO is in danger of “running out of names” at some point, since the Greek alphabet has only 24 letters.

The scientific name of the corpse flower is Amorphophallus titanum. Photo: AP According to the Guardian (UK), Mr. Solomon Leyva, the owner of a nursery in Alameda, who deals in exceptionally rare plants, posted on social media about his corpse flower. When he saw that many people were interested in the giant flower tree in full bloom, he decided to share the rare plant with the people around him. Earlier this week, Leyva took the corpse flower to an abandoned gas station so more people could admire it. Suddenly, long lines of people flocked to see this flower firsthand, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “I took the car, went down to the greenhouse, put the flower in the car with the help of a friend, drove here and people started coming to see it,” Leyva said. Leyva relaxed on a camping chair at the old gas station and patiently answered the same questions over and over again. He estimated that by 4 p.m., at least 1,200 people had come to admire the flower. “People said that when a similar flower was displayed in San Francisco earlier, they had to wait for hours to see the flower through a fence. They are not allowed to get close,” Leyva shared. “I think everyone wants to get up close, shake and smell the flower.” People lined up to admire the rare corpse flower in Alameda. Photo: AP Couple Himanshu and Sayali Jain brought their 3-year-old son here after a photo of the flower was posted on social media. “I just wanted to thank him, because I thought we would never see it,” Sayali Jain said. The carrion flower is the rarest and largest flowering plant in the world, first discovered in Sumatra, Indonesia in 1878, by the Italian botanist Odoardo Beccari. The tree only grows in the wild on steep hillsides 365 meters above sea level. This flower is famous for its scent and color similar to rancid flesh when blooming. According to the American Botanical Garden, the corpse flower is extremely rare, with nearly 1,000 species remaining in the wild. It can grow up to 3.6 meters tall and takes about a decade to bloom. During that time, it secretes an unusual odor to attract pollinators, and then dies within a few days. In 2016, visitors to a corpse flower at the New York Botanical Garden described its scent very differently. Many people say that corpse flowers have 5 scents: sweat, garlic, decomposing meat, human excrement, and rotting fish.

Acne causes a loss of aesthetics. Milia (scientific name is Syringomas) is a term used to refer to small and benign tumors, usually on the upper cheek or below the eyelid. Sometimes, they can also float on the abdomen, chest area, and genitals. Residual milia is also known as excess skin that rises from the surface of the skin and is connected to the skin by a small stalk. This type of acne is painless, completely benign, and does not grow like malignant tumors. Milia mainly develops in adulthood, between the ages of 25 and 30, and occurs equally in men and women. Syringomas usually appear as small, hard, swollen nodules that range in size from 1mm to 3mm. The skin tags usually grow in small groups and can be yellow, brown, pale pink… Syringoma groups tend to grow symmetrically, meaning they appear the same on both sides of the body at the same location. Banana peel We often throw away the peel after eating bananas. However, banana peels can be a great way to get rid of excess skin blemishes. All you need to do is apply a banana peel to the wart and cover it with tape. Try to keep the inside of the banana peel in contact with the skin. Leave overnight and wash off the area the next morning. Repeat the process, the milia will fall off after a few days. Garlic Garlic can do wonders when it comes to treating skin problems. However, care must be taken while using garlic to treat milia. Take a slice of garlic and place it on the skin that has the acne. Use adhesive tape. It is necessary to replace the new garlic clove every few hours. Do it continuously for about 3 days, the milia will naturally fall off. Lemon Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice onto a cotton pad and apply it to the wart. Make sure you don’t step out in the sun, if you don’t want a tan. You can apply lemon juice three or four times a day. The milia will fall off after two or three weeks.

As a country with a tropical climate, Vietnam has many different types of snakes, many of which are poisonous. Horned vipers, red-tailed vipers… are the most venomous snakes in Vietnam that can kill people in an instant.
Snakes are animals that have the ability to adapt and develop very strongly. In the world, there are more than 20 families of snakes with 500 genera including 3,400-3,550 different species of snakes.

As a country with a tropical climate, Vietnam has many different types of snakes, many of which are poisonous. The way of identification is mainly based on external characteristics such as color, head and body shape, tooth structure. Here are some common types of venomous snakes in Vietnam: first. horned viper, Scientific name is Trimeresurus cornutus found in Vietnam. Their head has a triangular shape that distinguishes it from the neck, the top of the head is covered with small scales, the scales on the eyes develop into horns, so it is known as the “devil snake”, the body size is about 50cm. The venom of the horned viper is classified as one of the most venomous snakes in Vietnam. Horned viper 2. Red-tailed viper , the scientific name is Trimeresurus albolabris, this is an extremely poisonous snake among vipers, with a green body and a reddish-brown tail. Living mainly in the high mountains and deep forests of the Truong Son range, the mountains of the northwest region of Vietnam, Can Tho now also has but very few. 3. Von-gen’s viper or Southern viper, the scientific name is Viridovipera vogeli is a species of snake in the viper family. The top of the head and body of this species is green, the belly is lighter. Regarded as one of the most cunning, skilled and cold-blooded night hunters of all snakes, with a single strong bite, prey will pay with its life. This snake lives in Gia Lai, Dong Nai, Lam Dong in Vietnam. 4. Silver-headed viper Azemiops feae, is a species of viper in the genus Azemiops in the monotypic subfamily Azemiopinae. Considered one of the most primitive vipers, the silver-headed viper is a medium-sized, slightly flattened head that distinguishes it from the neck, about 80cm long. In Vietnam, silver-headed vipers are distributed in Cao Bang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, and Lang Son. 5. Indigo snake Also known as dry wood snake, scientific name is Trimeresurus mucrosquamatus. The reason they have such a name is because their skin color is mixed with dry leaves, and dry plants are extremely difficult to detect. Common in the vast rubber forests of the Southeast, the danger of this snake, according to Professor Nguyen Lan Dung, is second only to sea snakes. 6. Chongqing Viper , the scientific name is Protobothrops trungkhanhensis, is a species of snake endemic to Trung Khanh, Cao Bang, Vietnam. Chongqing viper is about 70cm long, the color of the back and head of the male and female are similar, light gray brown. Hiding in the bushes, if you are not careful to tease them, you may die in a short time. 7. Grand cobra The scientific name is Ophiophagus hannah. Although not actively attacking humans, it is still considered a dangerous and scary species within their range. Not only has the ability to release venom, this snake also has the ability to control the amount of poison when biting its prey. The venom of the cobra has a toxic effect that paralyzes the nervous system, causing the bitten person to fall into a coma and die. 8. Ground cobra Also known as the one-eyed cobra or the obese tiger, the scientific name is Naja kaouthia. When stimulated, the snake’s neck expands very scary. Just a small amount of this snake’s venom can cause the prey to die suddenly. 9. Scallop snakes , scientifically known as Bungarus fasciatus, inhabits a variety of habitats, from forests to agricultural lands. is a relatively large venomous snake, usually over 1m long, characterized by very clear and prominent yellow-black patches. The venom of the scorpion is not inferior to that of a cobra. ten. krait snake , has the distinguishing feature of a slender head, round pupils, and a distinct color space like a scorpion, but their color is black and gray-white. Living in grasslands and dense forests, scorpions are the horror of humans when they encounter them. 11. Cat snake The Siamese cobra, scientifically known as Naja siamensis, is a subspecies of the venomous cobra. Temperament changes depending on the time of day, being shy and gentle in the morning, fierce and cruel at night. The cobra’s venom makes it an animal killer with a necrotic, cell-killing, potentially lethal effect that makes a healthy, adult human.

This banana rarely flowers, the flower is very big green nuggets, has few fruits but many seeds. This is an interesting destination with an extremely diverse ecosystem, wild nature, and a system of winding rivers and streams that are precarious between rocky snouts, giving this place a wonderful and attractive natural picture. The banana tree is probably too familiar to Vietnamese people, but few people know about the lonely banana tree. The road to Phuoc Binh National Park has a lot of forest bananas on both sides. Bananas on the roadside, bananas on the mountainside, low places and high places, the leaves fluttering in the sky. Perhaps this area is suitable for bananas, so the trunk is 20-25cm big, 3-4m high, the chamber is 6-7 inches long, all fruits are round and fat. Standing from afar, I saw hundreds of banana flowers dangling bright red. It is said that bananas in Phuoc Binh supply the whole city of Phan Rang and are the main source of income for the Raglai people who are currently living in this area. Bananas here are called “lonely” bananas, with a lotus-shaped chamber, this type of banana only grows alone, not in clusters, so it is called “lonely banana”. Lonely banana trees (also known as seed bananas, orphan bananas) are different from other banana varieties: from banana stems to banana flowers and fruits, they are also very unique. Local people said, the strange thing of this banana variety from germination by seed to flowering chamber does not produce seedlings. When the fruit is ripe, the tree will wither and die. Lonely bananas are completely grown in the wild, the tree grows all year round. This banana tree only grows in high mountain areas, usually ripe seeds falling to the ground meet good conditions and the tree will grow, develop and bear fruit. From sprouting to fruit harvesting takes about 2-2.5 years. Lonely bananas are used to treat kidney disease, kidney stones, diabetes, back pain, joint pain, erectile dysfunction, enhance men’s health, cool down, stomach disease, ringworm, stimulate digestion, tonic. kidney, diuretic, treatment of poor appetite, poor sleep, fever, constipation, tonifying the body… People here take banana seeds soaked in wine to drink very delicious and fragrant and are very popular with tourists when coming here to enjoy. Visitors all say that this wine is very special, has the aroma of bananas without losing the taste of wine, when drinking once, you will remember it forever. Come once to Phuoc Binh National Park in Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province to enjoy this local “specialty”.

The earliest records of domesticated geese suggest they were raised for fattening and sacrifice, but in Roman times geese were also bred for eggs and bred for specific traits such as calm personalities. or for beautiful, luxurious fur. It was not until 390 BC that geese were raised to become a guardian animal in Roman life. It is said that once at the temple of the goddess Juno, there was a flock of geese, they were considered sacred animals and no one dared to eat them. In 390 BC, Rome was besieged by the Gauls, and late one night, Gaul soldiers sneaked up the Capitoline hill where the temple of the goddess Juno was to surprise Rome. The dogs raised by the inhabitants of Rome were not alarmed because they were easily bribed with fresh meat. With the exception of the geese, they immediately noticed the unusual disturbance and began to call loudly. Thanks to the cry of the geese, the Roman soldiers were awakened and successfully defended their city. Since this event, the geese are considered heroes, sacred animals, and an annual festival is held – dressed in purple and yellow geese costumes and teasing them. Dogs because of “greed for food” forgot their guard duty. Goose has aggressive behavior Aggressive geese – this behavior is related to their size – a large and clumsy bird. Geese are difficult to hide when threatened, so they will display aggressive and aggressive attitudes to avoid danger. Goose tolerates extreme weather well, even when it snows, it still likes to be outside grooming. The ability to protect themselves well plus preferring to be outside rather than indoors, geese are often raised by farmers with flocks of chickens, ducks and geese to protect themselves. Day vision (nearly blind at night) and hearing of geese are extremely sharp, they can sense movements long before humans realize. While most birds do not respond to things they see in favor of humans, geese are the opposite. It emits a loud and aggressive sound – these are ideal sentinel and protective attributes. Geese are also territorial, they know where their home is and protect it. Not many domesticated birds are territorial, and fewer are aggressive in the face of intruders. Goose is more aggressive during mating season or when it is with “wife” and cubs. The male goose will immediately stretch his neck to its full length, turn his head to look at you with one eye and be ready to attack, no matter who the threat is. The goose’s protective behavior for mates and young remains unchanged from that of its wild ancestors. The goose lives with one mate for life and it is very loyal to its owner, not forgetting the people and other animals it lives with. Geese are not affected by food, no matter how good the food is. Therefore, many farmers in the world prefer to keep geese to guard the house and protect other animals than dogs. Vegetarian goose Unlike chickens and ducks, which prefer insects, crickets and protein-rich foods, geese prefer to eat plants, very voracious but all plants. When combining raising geese with suitable plants, they will eat all the weeds around and absolutely do not touch agricultural products. Goose has a good memory, it remembers people, distinguishes who is who by shape, gestures and voice, it also knows which chicken and dog friends are next to him and remembers situations and surroundings. around. So what is unusual, disturbing even small, strangers appear, they will welcome with cries and aggressive attitude. *In 1986, the US military purchased 750 geese from German farmers to protect their military bases. Or in Dumbarton, Scotland, the famous whiskey company Ballantine used geese to guard during 1959 until 2012 when it was replaced with security cameras. These geese are called “Scotch Watch”.

Recently, on a social networking group for people who like to grow clean vegetables at home, a member posted 2 pictures of “unique” roots and asked: “Has anyone eaten rubber? What out? ” Looking at the image of a tuber with brown skin, peeled white, and powdered like tapioca (tapioca) has made many netizens skeptical: “chayote have tubers?”; “Never heard of a condom”; … However, it is true that someone has made a very delicious stewed chayote soup with bone. They even shared that the rubber that was cooked up to eat had a very unique chewy taste. Latex is formed from the bulging root portion of a plant, usually planted over a year and has a new good nutrition for the tubers. Each bulb weighs 200 ounces to both pounds and is edible like any other vegetable. Perhaps it’s because people are so accustomed to how to collect fruit and rubber on a high platform without even knowing that there are edible rubber under the ground. Latex is not a surprising rare case in the online community. Before that, some other foods also made many people “eyes wide open” because they first knew the origin. County é A familiar food but perhaps few people know where “origin” gathered from, that is seed é. The é seed is a seed of the thyme family (Occimum gratissimum). This plant also has many other names such as white basil, white basil, hairy basil, hairy basil, … This is a subspecies of the familiar basil plant to us. Green basil, also known as white basil, is different from purple basil, because the stem is white and has feathers. While the basil plant is purple in color, the stem is smooth, hairless. White leaves are also an indispensable ingredient in the famous chicken hotpot in Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Da Lat (Lam Dong) … Potatoes Potato vines, also known as wild potatoes, are air potatoes. These potatoes do not grow into tubers underground, but bear fruit on trees. In Vietnam, there are also many families growing this plant. Potatoes with scientific name is Dioscorea bulbifera, the same family with yams and originated from Florida, USA. The tuber appearance is quite similar to the potato we often use. However, the vines have a hard outer shell, underneath the brown skin is the green skin. Peel off this blue skin and you can use it. This climbing potato has a bitter taste, but when cooked carefully removes that bitterness. They are most commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry. Watermelon climbing scaffold The image of watermelon lying crawling on the ground like “little pigs” is too familiar. So you might not have expected these round watermelons, dangling from a trellis this high. In Vietnam, the model of growing trellis watermelon was first experimentally planted in Phu Tan district (An Giang), directly cultivated by farmer Nguyen Thanh Phong. This is one of the promising models, suggesting a new transformation direction to bring high economic value to farmers. Because watermelon belongs to the gourd family, it has very good clinging ability. The trellis cucumbers are of moderate size, suitable for the consumer needs of the people. Potato melon Cucumbers potato scientific name is Cucumis sativus little potato, originated from India. Despite being like a melon, but due to the shape of the fruit is like … a potato, it has been Vietnameseized as a potato cucumber. Potato cucumbers are just as easy to grow and care as a traditional cucumber. The unique fruit shape is also loved by many people to grow as an ornamental plant and as a delicious food. This exotic cucumber has a cool taste and aroma like lemon, and is a popular food used in salads, smoothies, as food decorations. Asparagus tree Asparagus is considered the nutritional emperor of vegetables, is a favorite dish of many people because it is very healthy. Asparagus trees are shrubs, soft conifers, and shoots that grow from the ground up to be used as foods of high nutritional value. However, perhaps not many people know that the willow branches, bamboo shoots, used by flower shops to attach with roses, lotus flowers, and in the old days used to arrange flowers in weddings were the leaves of asparagus this.

To prevent poisoning, people should not eat strange, colorful and unusual sea crabs.
Sea crab is a nutritious dish and is loved by many people. However, besides benign species, many types of sea crabs contain dangerous toxins, especially, they have strange shapes, colorful colors.

According to information from Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi), Dr. Nguyen Trung Nguyen, Director of the Poison Control Center, said that there are at least 3 types of poisonous crabs: demon-faced crab, seed crab and Florida crab. father in the waters of Central Vietnam, Nha Trang and some other places. Recently, the Institute of Oceanography, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, also confirmed that the man in Thanh Hoa was poisoned after eating crab. This type of crab has a very high toxicity, very easily fatal when eaten. Dr. Nguyen said that the crab poisoning progress is very fast, it can appear after eating within a few hours. Many patients eat at sea, on ships, on islands, get poisoned and when they are brought ashore, they cannot be treated in time. Even many cases died on the way to the hospital. Devil-faced crab Devil face crab, scientific name is Zosimus aeneus, is one of the poisonous crab species living in Vietnamese waters, there are many from Da Nang to Vung Tau. Devil-faced crabs are often hidden in shallow, low-tide areas. They have the same color as coral, so it is difficult to identify. According to information from Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography, the devil face crab has the widest chest shell of nearly 90 mm, about 55 mm long. Crab shell has many flat convex, eye-catching colors, unlike food sea crabs. Devil-faced crabs are blue-green with white, brown, and yellow markings. The legs and legs of the crab are dark brown. The crab’s meat, eggs and claws contain the same toxins in pufferfish as saxitoxin, neurotoxin and tetrodotoxin. The poisonous crabs poisonous crabs formed by the main food source are the algae in the coral reef. These substances cause paralysis of the nervous system, inhibiting respiration. This is a very powerful toxin to the nervous system, just 0.5 mg can be fatal for adults. Devil-faced crabs can be fatal when ingested. Photo: Sciencesource. Crab fan This crab species has the scientific name Demania reynaudii of the family Xanthidae (the Xanthid reef crab). According to the literature, the fan crab is a crustacean, benthic, common in coral reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific. Currently, scientists have identified nearly 300 species of crabs living in the sea, some of which contain the toxin saxitoxin or tetrodotoxin. These are 2 toxins that cause poisoning and death if ingested. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Viet Ha, Director of Institute of Oceanography, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, tetrodotoxin is heat-stable and acid-stable so it does not decompose at high temperature when cooking. nine. It can even exist in processed, frozen, canned products. This toxin can affect the central nervous system of humans and higher animals, stopping the transmission of nerve signals. Symptoms of poisoning usually appear about 30 minutes after eating, including tongue numbness, lip numbness, dizziness, headache, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, difficulty swallowing, movement imbalance. .. In severe cases, the victim has seizures, froth, coma and death. Demania renaudii fan crab specimen collected from food poisoning in Thanh Hoa on March 27. Photo: Truong Si Hai Trinh. Crab seeds The seed crab (Platypodia granulosa) is just as poisonous as the demon face crab. Crab seeds have oval body. Their nipple shells are semi-circular, the longest about 30 mm, the widest about 40 mm, covered with granular convex tumors. Raw crabs are yellowish-green in color, sometimes yellowish-brown or purplish-red in color. The knuckles are black in color. The seed crab is usually found on living coral reefs, at a depth of about 3 m, at Hon Tam – Nha Trang. They are sometimes mistaken for the common Florida crab (Atergatis floridus). Crab Florida According to the National Institutes of Medicine (NIH), this crab has the scientific name Atergastis floridus. They have an oval body, relatively narrow shell, smooth surface, smooth back. The whole crab body is brown to dark brown in color, with large yellow spots on the back. The Florida crab has a nipple shell that is almost like a horizontal ellipse. The back surface of the crab shell is slightly convex but smooth, making it difficult to identify areas. The toes are dark colored. The crabs are of large, equal and smooth size with a black spoon-shaped head. Male crabs are usually larger than females. The crab shell has a square shape, is quite thick and has a width of 8-10 cm. Florida crabs are usually more active at night. Atergatis floridus occurs in the eastern Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the western Pacific. According to the Western Australian Museum, The meat of the crab Florida, like many related crabs from the Xanthidae family, is very poisonous. The toxins in this crab species such as tetrodotoxin and saxitoxin are produced by vibrio-like bacteria that live in symbiosis on crabs. These toxins, similar to puffer fish, are a major factor in poisoning cases in shellfish.
