The Hong Kong spirit, also known as the Lion Rock spirit, is a spirit of hard work, hard work, pioneering spirit, flexibility, and self-improvement. In China’s aerospace industry, there is also the admirable spirit of Lion Rock. Standing at the historical node of the party’s centuries, the “Spirit of the Times” event officially kicked off. A group of “cosmic missions” composed of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, commanders and chief designers of various national aerospace projects entered the Hong Kong campus. Share the fruitful achievements and precious spirit of China’s aerospace engineering with young students. Let’s experience the power of Hong Kong in China’s aerospace industry with the Narada Institute of Big Data. Hong Kong Polytechnic University sets up “Deep Space Exploration Research Center” Hong Kong scientists are indispensable in China’s aerospace industry. For example, in recent years, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University has actively participated in China’s aerospace industry. In May 2021, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University formally established the “Deep Space Exploration Research Center”, bringing together experts in different disciplines and fields such as geology, civil engineering, and physics to conduct research and development of aerospace technology and contribute to the country with scientific research. According to Rong Qiliang, an academician of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and a professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the center’s work mainly includes deep space exploration instrument manufacturing and deep space exploration theory research. In addition, the teams of Professor Rong Qiliang and Professor Wu Bo of the Hong Kong Polytechnic are also Hong Kong’s “old friends” in my country’s major scientific projects of deep space exploration, and they are the only team of scientists in Hong Kong participating in the national deep space exploration. The Chang’e 3, 4, and 5 national lunar exploration projects and the “Tianwen No. 1” Mars exploration mission all have their contributions. Rong Qiliang team R & D “Mars Camera”, Participate in moon sampling Among them, Professor Rong Qiliang’s team has developed a sophisticated space instrument, the “Fire Fall Monitoring Camera” (“Mars Camera”), which is mounted on the outer platform of the lander to monitor the landing situation, the surrounding environment of Mars, and the landing. The operation of the post-Mars rover Zhurong, including the opening of the solar wing and the condition of the antenna. Relevant data is crucial for mastering whether the rover can successfully patrol the surface of Mars. Professor Rong’s team also participated in the Chang’e 3, 4 and 5 national lunar exploration projects. The camera pointing system developed to help the control center direct the activities of the lunar rover. The surface sampler and the primary packaging system for sealing lunar soil samples helped Chang’e-5 successfully obtain lunar samples and conduct preliminary storage. How difficult is it to sample on the moon? In an interview with Southern Metropolis Daily, Rong Qiliang revealed that The use of a fully automated robotic arm to collect such a large number of lunar samples is unprecedented. “Changwu” has two moon table samplers to deal with lunar soil of different textures. After landing on the moon, the sampling device used for moon table samples a total of 12 times, of which the third time was too many samples, the sampler smoothly and automatically Chiseled away a part. How does the robotic arm perform sampling? Rong Qiliang reproduced the process at the time to reporters from Nandu: “First, after receiving the instruction, the primary packaging system opens the sample tank, and the robotic arm lowers the sampler to sample. The shovel-shaped sampler (A) is used to collect the loose moon. The sample is designed so that it can vibrate when closed, throw away excess debris, and can also dig out large pieces of lunar soil. The sampler (B) can drill into the lunar soil and grab the viscous sample by opening the toothed metal flap. Each sampler is equipped with a close-in camera. The sampling process is relatively slow at the beginning, and the staff later speeds up when it is used smoothly. The whole process was originally expected to last more than 30 hours, but it was completed early and took less than 20 hours. The third sampling was over, and our sampler smoothly chipped out the extra part. ” Wu Bo team Analyze the topography of Mars and choose the landing site From 2017 to 2020, another professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Wu Bo, was invited by the China Academy of Space Technology to lead a team to conduct a global analysis and evaluation of Mars, and selected three locations in the Amazon Plain, Chris Plain, and Utopia Plain. Through detailed analysis of topography and geomorphic features, the southern area of the Utopia Plain, the largest impact basin in the northern hemisphere of Mars, was selected as the target landing area for the “Tianwen-1”. In order to help “Tianwen-1” land and patrol safely on Mars, Wu Bo and his team have also developed an “artificial intelligence-based method for extracting impact craters and rocks.” Within a month and a half, it analyzed 670,000 craters, more than 2 million rocks, and hundreds of volcanic cones distributed in the target landing zone, with an accuracy rate of 85%. In an interview, Professor Wu Bo revealed the whole process: After “Tianwen-1” entered the orbit of Mars, it took high-resolution images of the selected target landing area. Since the team obtained the relevant images in March, they have been processing them intensively, and finally successfully searched for several landing ellipses for the “Tianwen No. 1” mission team to make the final selection. He admitted that the process of completing the task was stressful and difficult. Especially in the past two months, from mid-March to early May, the team needed to process a large amount of high-resolution images of data, and to analyze the millions of rocks and tens of thousands of rocks in the target landing area through three-dimensional modeling. Thousands of impact craters and other geomorphic features that may affect landing safety. “Pressure is everywhere, but I am gratified that every member of our team is able to go all out. Everyone has a sense of honor and mission, and actively contributes their own strength.” Professor Wu Bo said. It is worth mentioning that Hong Kong youths are also increasingly participating in the aerospace industry of the motherland. In 2016, the Shenzhou 11 manned spacecraft was successfully launched. The astronauts conducted three experimental projects designed by Hong Kong middle school students on the Tiangong-2 in the space laboratory-“water film reaction”, “space sericulture” and “double pendulum experiment”, all of which were successful. On the morning of June 23, the first lecture of “Aerospace Scientists Entering Campus” and the Public Lecture of Contemporary Distinguished Chinese Scientists was held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Academician Qi Fazhi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the first chief designer of the Shenzhou spacecraft, specifically mentioned: “ We warmly and sincerely welcome young people from Hong Kong to participate in the aerospace industry of the motherland! “ Produced by: Nandu Big Data Research Institute Coordinator: Zou Ying Data collection and analysis: Chen Zeran Drawing: Li Bei Data source: China National Space Administration, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, public media reports, etc. Data statistics deadline: June 23, 2021

Poster production: Feng Juan On the 21st, the summer solstice. Astronomical science experts reminded that around the summer solstice, the International Space Station (ISS) ushered in good observation opportunities. It would frequently stroll the night sky and compete with the stars in the night sky for “C position.” By then, if the weather is fine, the public in northern my country can appreciate this rare heavenly “marathon” with naked eyes. Beijing astronomy enthusiast Zong Haiyang took a close-up photo of the ISS in Beijing in February 2018. (Photo provided by me) ISS is currently the largest space platform operating in orbit. It is a space laboratory with modern scientific research equipment that can carry out large-scale, multidisciplinary basic and applied scientific research. The scale of the ISS is close to a standard football stadium, which was jointly constructed by 16 countries including the United States, Russia, Canada, and Japan, and it took 12 years to complete the construction. Guangxi astronomy enthusiast Wang Jin took a photo of the ISS transit trajectory taken at Heishantou, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, May 15, 2021 (Photo provided by me) Shi Zhicheng, a member of the Chinese Astronomical Society and director of the Tianjin Astronomical Society, said that at night before and after the summer solstice, for mid-latitudes in the northern hemisphere, the sun can shine on the solar panels of the ISS at a position not too low below the horizon to form a reflection, so It looks like a moving “bright star”. A close-up photo of the ISS taken by Beijing astronomy enthusiast Zong Haiyang in Beijing in April 2020. (Photo provided by me) Astronomical science experts said that ISS transits through my country almost every month, but due to factors such as weather conditions, space station transit orbits, geographic location, urban light pollution and other factors, most of the time the observation conditions are fairly normal. The period when the comprehensive observation conditions are relatively good around the summer solstice is very rare throughout the year. Interested members of the public can try to see the ISS style. Beijing astronomy enthusiast Wang Junfeng took a photo of the ISS flying over the moon halo in Honghe, Yunnan on December 22, 2019. (Photo provided by me) Beijing astronomy enthusiast Wang Junfeng suggested that interested members of the public can use small programs such as “Tenron” or professional apps to view information about the transit time, azimuth, and brightness of the ISS at their location. Wang Junfeng said that the average ISS transit time is 3 to 5 minutes. When the weather is fine, it is easy to see a bright “star” quickly across the night sky. Astronomy enthusiasts in certain areas can also see the ISS quickly passing over the surface of the moon. This phenomenon is called “transiting moon.” Beijing astronomy enthusiast Zheng Zhi took a photo of the ISS “Lingyue” in Beijing on March 25, 2018 (multiple superimposed).

This is Xiao Yu’s travel diary, stop and go, and watch Shaanxi with me.

In the past two years, “Xi’an Night View” has been frequently searched. Especially the night scenes of the scenic spots in the Great Tang Dynasty City and Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square have transformed the ancient capital of Xi’an into Chang’an, the prosperous Tang Dynasty, attracting many tourists to check in. I have seen the night view of Xi’an, but I did not expect that I went to the small county town of Qinling and was still amazed by the night view here. Among the many small cities in the Qinling Mountains that I have walked through, this place should be the place with the most beautiful night view. I wonder if you have been there yet? It is – Fengxian. Fengxian, known as Fengzhou in ancient times, is located in the hinterland of the Qinling Mountains and at the source of the Jialing River. It is a place named after the Phoenix. Although Fengxian belongs to the Guanzhong city of Baoji, it is located at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains and already belongs to the south in the geographical sense. In history, Zhongfeng County is the only place from Chang’an to Bashu. The old road, Lianyun, and Baoxie all pass through here, because it also left many cultural monuments. Coupled with the unique natural resources, tourism development is still doing well. A few years ago, I heard that the night view of Fengxian County is very beautiful. This time I came here in person and found that it is indeed worthy of praise. Like many Qinling county towns, the area of Fengxian county town is not large. The county seat is located in a valley surrounded by mountains, the Jialing River flows through the middle, and residential buildings are built along both banks of the Jialing River. That is to use this section of the Jialing River that flows through the county seat, Fengxian built the 4A scenic spot Phoenix Lake. The best time to appreciate Phoenix Lake is at night. There is a large-scale waterscape, light and music show on the lake. The houses and bridges on both sides of the lake and the Qinling Mountains are also decorated with gorgeous lights. The overall combination is very beautiful. The above picture shows the Starlight Waterfall and the artificial moon. A 1 million square meter star waterfall is arranged on one of the peaks of the Qinling Mountains (data from the official introduction, haha), and there is also a round of “artificial moon”. At night, the sky is full of stars, and the scene is still very beautiful. The weather was good when we went, so there were two moons, which looked a bit buggy. However, the artificial moon is capable of moving. According to the change of cloudy and sunny, from the crescent to the full moon, the creativity is quite good. The picture below is a large fountain, which is said to be 184 meters high, once the highest in Asia (it has now been surpassed). I shot it when it was the highest. After dinner, we felt very comfortable when we strolled along the banks of Phoenix Lake. The spring breeze came with a little moisture, and the dazzling lights on both sides of the strait could not help but take out the camera to take pictures. When we came, the local villager in Fengxian told us that because the Jialing River was in high water, the waterscape music and light show was not sure whether it would be performed. We strolled around the county town, took a look at the 184-meter high spray, and found that there was no follow-up performance, so we went back to the hotel. I thought I was sorry to miss it, but I didn’t expect that at 9pm, the performance would start as usual. And we live next to Phoenix Lake, and the hotel just happened to be able to see the scene of the performance, so we took a small bench and sat in the hotel to watch the entire water curtain show. The effect is really amazing! There is a sculpture of a phoenix spreading its wings on the water of Phoenix Lake. From the sculpture to the covered bridge at the back, it becomes the core area of the entire water curtain show. With the music, the water surface changes into different colors of phoenix, which fits perfectly with the theme of “Colorful Feng County”. After the light show, the fountain started, and the entire lake surface would finally spray up, swinging with the music, and the scene was quite shocking. Among the many counties in the Qinling Mountains, Fengxian’s tourism development started relatively early. The slogan at that time was “The Most Beautiful Small Town in Qinling”, of course “the most” is not easy to say, but the night view of this county town is still quite beautiful. Visiting the surrounding attractions during the day, and seeing a stunning light show at night when you return to the county town, it feels quite comfortable. If you have the opportunity to come to Fengxian County, it is recommended to live in a homestay next to Phoenix Lake, find a room with a lake view, and lie down in the house to see the panoramic view. The experience is super good. If you want to learn more about popular and fun tourist destinations, you are welcome to pay attention to “Xiaoyu’s Travel Diary”.
Looking up at the starry sky is not as difficult as imagined. In a place 400 kilometers away from Guangzhou, whenever night falls, the stars there scramble to flash out from the darker and darker night sky and gather into a dazzling starry sky. —— Zhanjiang

Zhanjiang, it seems that because of its special location, the impression of it has always been blue sea and blue sky, flocks of gulls flying.

In the “arm” formed by the intersection of Qiongzhou Strait and Beibu Gulf, there is a small fishing village at the southernmost tip of mainland China, Antarctic Village. This small village with an area of only 37 square kilometers has contracted the most beautiful sun, moon and stars on the Leizhou Peninsula.

The lighthouse of Antarctic Village is the most beautiful landscape here. It is accompanied by the sea during the day and the stars and moon at night. The blue waves are rippling and the waves are flying. Only the towering lighthouse still stands majestically, gazing quietly at the sky full of stars.

On the shallows, fishing boats returning to the port stopped here. Everything was silent. The fishing boats faced the sky and talked to the stars.

Ancient lighthouses, uninhabited islands, casuarina forest, basalt rocks left by volcanic eruptions… Such places should be desolate and boring, but because of the primitiveness and nature here, they are not disturbed by too many human activities. Yifang Pure Land has become a “secret base” for stargazers
