With always having load forecast, with short and long-term solutions to respond; investing in many new substations as well as increasing the capacity of substations, this year’s hot season electricity in the city as well as localities in Nghe An will be guaranteed, and remote areas will also be provided with electricity. safe electricity.
 Build multiple response scenarios

In order to prepare for the heat wave in 2021, Nghe An Power Company (Nghe An PC) has directed its units to quickly deploy the proposed solutions and scenarios to ensure electricity supply for the whole country. Nghe An province. Nghe An PC workers check outdoor equipment at Hung Hoa Substation (Nghe An) PC Nghe An information, during this year’s hot season in Nghe An, there will be many prolonged heat waves, leading to an increase in the demand for electricity for cooling than in previous years. It is expected that power output will increase, with an estimated capacity of about 820 MW. In order to ensure stable power supply in the face of increasing electricity demand in the summer of 2021, Nghe An PC has prepared a “scenario” carefully, with many solutions to supply electricity to people and businesses. Mr. Le Quang Thanh – Deputy Director of PC Nghe An said that 2021 is not expected to be as hot as the previous year, but despite the prolonged epidemic, most businesses in the area are operating stably again. power consumption is expected to increase. Regarding the load forecast, this year’s output growth will be higher than last year’s at over 12%. The most important and basic solution identified by the unit is to increase the power supply capacity, with the rapid completion of construction of substations and power lines for areas in the province. Accordingly, from the end of 2020 until now, Nghe An PC has built and installed hundreds of large and small projects, including: Raising the capacity of 110kV substation in Cua Lo route, increasing the capacity of 110kV Quynh Luu substation, completing upgrading the transmission line. 110kV from Quynh Luu – Quy Hop. Along with that, renovating and upgrading low-voltage trunk roads; replace the meter periodically; strengthening overhaul, cleaning of transmission lines and transformers; replacing the name plate number of the road, pole number, safety sign of the substation transmission line… and is implementing the plan to energize and put into operation 110kV Con Cuong substation, increasing the capacity of 110kV Hung Nguyen and Quy Hop substations in the month. 6/2021. After energizing, the station will power on in time to serve the people’s demand for electricity in the summer months; support stable and safe power supply in the area. However, according to PC Nghe An, the case of an unexpected increase in output through monitoring is unlikely and in fact, if it happens, the power infrastructure including medium voltage transmission lines, substations and power grids. low voltage will still be able to meet. Alternating power cuts to reduce capacity as announced by EVN will not happen, however, it does not exclude some cases such as: The power supply of the whole system is malfunctioning, incidents such as the breakdown of hydroelectric power units , the North – South 500kV transmission fault leading to failure to mobilize the grid capacity of the whole system will be automatically laid off. In addition, there is a problem of maintenance schedules of power plants (thermal power plants, hydroelectric plants) which can also lead to lack of power, requiring capacity regulation between regions. In the coming period, the vicinity of Nghe An will record a sudden increase in load, especially in Thanh Hoa area, and in Nghe An will also have a sudden increase at the end of 2021 when Hoang Mai 1 and Hoang Mai IPs WHA Industrial Park comes into operation. This is not only a problem for the electricity industry in Nghe An but also for the power system in the North as well as in the whole country. To solve it, EVN will have capacity coordination solutions to meet demand. Power supply scenarios have been developed at the transmission grid level (220kV, 500kV) in order to mobilize and balance capacity in the North – Central – South region. Thus, in the short term, the stable and continuous power supply for Nghe An will be ensured. PC Attention Nghe An Use electricity in hot weather PC Nghe An also noted that, in order for the power grid to operate stably during the peak of heat, it is necessary to coordinate and propagate propaganda at all levels of the government, local and central media agencies on the appropriate use of content. , saving. This content is very important for the national power system and grid, will avoid unnecessary grid overload due to unreasonable use, reduce the greenhouse effect, help limit environmental pollution, have a enough electricity to serve economic development for production and also save living costs for electricity users themselves. PC Nghe An continuously advises customers to avoid being subjective, negligent, not to misunderstand between electricity price and electricity consumption; Use electricity in the most efficient and economical way when entering the hot season. Just small actions from the people such as turning off electrical appliances when not in use, not using many large-capacity devices at the same time, using low-power consumption equipment labeled energy-saving by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Industry and Trade inspection will help save electricity. PC Nghe An has prepared scenarios for electricity growth in hot weather Families should use air conditioners at a reasonable level of 26-27 degrees Celsius or higher and use fans in combination to reduce power consumption. When using a cold room, do not open the door often, do not use electrical appliances with heat-generating features in the room such as irons, ovens, electric kettles, and hot water heaters. Families have many rooms, when watching TV should focus on watching together, turn off all devices in neighboring rooms. Use electricity only when absolutely necessary, avoid using devices simultaneously during peak hours… For factories, make sure to use the correct capacity and load chart. Along with that, implementing a reasonable production plan, minimizing the mobilization of equipment and machinery with large electricity consumption capacity at peak hours. To minimize electrical equipment operating at no-load, key energy-using establishments must save at least 2% of electricity consumed per product unit per year. Advise customers to use electricity as committed to the electricity industry in terms of registered load and time frame, or reduce capacity when required by the electricity industry due to sudden increase in load… When purchasing new equipment, pay attention to use equipment with energy-saving certification label of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Responding to the electricity sector, coordinating propaganda and recommending surrounding households to save together.

 Take the human factor seriously

As a unit of EVNNPT established on May 1, 1981, after 40 years of building and maturing, generations of leaders of PTC1 always care and invest in people, so that employees can own equipment, technology, ensure the power grid operation, safety, efficiency and quality assurance. Apply technology to check heat emission, detect the cause of the problem early Currently, the power grid managed by PTC1 is mostly transformers with large capacity (250MVA with 220 kV), (900 MVA with 500kV), along with oil resistance are the main equipment in the substations ( TBA). The company has widely applied online monitoring equipment to control the pressurized state under OLTC load, cooling system, current, pressure, oil … revealing the breaker of the company applying GIS, COMPACT technology, vertical compensation systems 500kV-2000A, new technology … is implementing the roadmap of gradually bringing 220 kV substations into remote control. The company is also the leading unit in the lead and acceptance of digital substations in Vietnam (220 kV Thuy Nguyen substation) and is assigned by EVNNPT to develop a process for accepting digital substations in the corporation. The development of technology and the rapid growth of the volume and scope of management requires that the qualifications of the staff be enhanced to meet the requirements.

In the process of Hai Ba Trung Electricity deploying and installing the transformer station on Minh Khai street (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) at the approved location, a number of unknown objects appeared obstructing the construction. …
Reflecting on the Capital Security hotline, Mr. Le Dung, Deputy Director of Hai Ba Trung Power Company (Hanoi), said to deploy the construction of a transformer station to ensure stable electricity supply to the people. in the area of Minh Khai ward; ensuring synchronization with the project of opening Ring Road 2, Hai Ba Trung Power has coordinated with functional departments of Hai Ba Trung District People’s Committee, Minh Khai Ward People’s Committee to review some construction sites of transformer stations, in there is transformer station No. 19 (located on the pavement of Minh Khai street, located between two house numbers 92 and 94).

“The installation of these transformer stations is based on the Hanoi Electricity Development Plan and the actual needs of the people and businesses in the area. Because, after the project paving the way is completed, the number of high-rise buildings on the road surface will increase sharply, leading to an increase in electricity demand, without upgrading the substations, it will not be able to meet the electricity demand during the season. Next summer ”- Mr. Le Dung analyzed.

The location of the transformer station on the sidewalk of Minh Khai street, 3.9 meters from the edge of the house

According to the Deputy Director of Hai Ba Trung Power Company, on the route, there are 7 transformer stations located on the line, up to now, there have been 4 stations with completed construction of underground parts; install the equipment in accordance with the approved positions, in which there is transformer station No. 19.

In the process of choosing the location of these stations, Hai Ba Trung Power has worked and agreed with the ward authorities; District; functional departments of the People’s Committee of Hai Ba Trung district and the unit managing the ring road 2 investment project.

“Ring road 2 is under urgent construction. The technical infrastructure related to the route must also be constructed synchronously to avoid the project being excavated again after completion. Therefore, the power sector has actively implemented the installation of transformer stations, both to ensure the power supply requirements in the coming period as well as synchronize with the Ring Road 2 project “- Mr. Dung said.

However, on April 12, 2021, at the location of the above-mentioned 19 transformer station, Hai Ba Trung Electricity checked and discovered that the transformer station’s cover was covered with a blue nylon canvas.

More seriously, at 9pm on April 14, 2021, when the above-mentioned canvas was removed to continue the construction and installation of equipment and accessories for the station, the construction unit of Hai Ba Trung Electricity had a number of unknown objects obstruct and prevent construction. In order to avoid possible complications, Hai Ba Trung Electricity had to suspend construction.

It is necessary to urgently support the complete construction of the transformer station on Minh Khai street, promptly operate it for the people of the summer of 2021.

According to the plan approved by the Hanoi Electricity Corporation, we will have to complete the construction, energize and put the substation into operation before April 23, 2021 to promptly serve the people in the Summer peak 2021. Therefore, to meet this requirement, we have sent a written request to the People’s Committees of Minh Khai and CAP Minh Khai wards to coordinate and support Hai Ba Trung Electricity in ensuring security and order. , safe for the construction force of the unit “- Mr. Le Dung said.

Regarding the above incident, Mr. Trinh Le Duc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Minh Khai ward (Hai Ba Trung district) said that the ward has grasped it. However, according to the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Minh Khai ward, up to now, the ward has not received any letter or feedback from the people about the location of the transformer station mentioned above.

“Initial review shows that the installation of transformer stations of the power sector is in accordance with the planning and actual needs of the locality as well as the current regulations. In the process of choosing the location of the station, the power sector has discussed, worked with and agreed with the concerned units and the ward People’s Committee.

Regarding the objects obstructing the construction, we received information from the electricity sector and assigned a comrade Vice Chairman of the ward People’s Committee, urban officials and the ward police force to coordinate and support the application. The developer will complete the energizing construction stage in the coming time, ensuring security and order in the area “- Mr. Trinh Le Duc said.

The project has a total budget of about 68 billion VND from commercial loans and reciprocal capital of EVNCPC. Artwork: Mai Phuong / BNEWS / TTXVN

To meet the need to release capacity for renewable energy sources and create socio-economic development momentum in the northern region of Kon Tum province, Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has just implemented the project. Improve transmission capacity of Dak Ha 110kV transmission line – Kon Tum 220kV transformer station.

The project has a total budget of about 68 billion VND from commercial loans and reciprocal capital of EVNCPC.

Accordingly, the 110 kV Dak Ha transmission line – the 20 kV Kon Tum transformer station is the lifeblood, supplying and transmitting electricity to the northern districts of Kon Tum province such as Dak Ha, Dak To, Ngoc Hoi, Dak Glei.

However, with the potential to develop renewable energy sources such as hydroelectricity, wind power, and solar power, Kon Tum has attracted many businesses to invest in renewable energy projects.

This leads to the line’s capacity to carry the load not enough to release capacity, regularly implementing the reduction, causing damage to investors and affecting the local economy.

The project to improve transmission capacity of Dak Ha 110 kV transmission line – 220 kV Kon Tum substation was commenced by Kon Tum Power Company in March 2020, with the scale of new construction of dual-circuit lines from transformer station The 220 kV Kon Tum voltage to the Dak Ha 110 kV transformer station, more than 14 km in length, was newly built, replacing the entire old line with insufficient capacity with galvanized steel poles, using ACSR-300/39 conductors and the modern dual-circuit 110 kV line connection.

Currently, the project has been completed and energized by Kon Tum Power Company and put into use in March 2021. The completion and putting into operation of the project is very important in promoting the socio-economic development of the locality, contributing to ensuring energy security, improving electricity supply reliability and reducing losses. power failure in the northern districts of Kon Tum province.

Mr. Hoang Danh Chuyen’s family (village 1, Ha Mon commune, Dak Ha district) currently uses 1 transformer station to cultivate more than 17 hectares of coffee, fruit trees and fish ponds.

“When the line has not been upgraded yet, the current often flickers, sometimes power outages, so it is difficult for the family to focus on production. Now, the upgraded power line has helped to stabilize the power source, so irrigation with electric pumps is more convenient and economical. ”, Mr. Hoang Danh Chuyen shared.

In June 2020, Ngoc Wang Electricity Investment Joint Stock Company invested in building a roof-top solar power project on an area of more than 8,000 m2, in Dak Ha district, with a total investment of 15 billion VND / MW. .

However, the capacity of the 110 kV Dak Ha transmission line is limited, so the company’s revenue is only 180 million dong / month.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ngoc Wang Electricity Investment Joint Stock Company shared, when the 110 kV Dak Ha line was invested and upgraded, the electricity system was transferred smoothly, no an overload occurs; from there, helping the company’s revenue to reach more than 300 million / month.

Through the project to improve the capacity of the 110 kV transmission line Dak Ha – the 220 kV Kon Tum transformer station, nearly 20 small and medium hydropower plants and more than 80 rooftop solar power projects using power lines have been guaranteed. Electricity supply protection and capacity transmission to the national power system.

Deputy Director of Kon Tum Electricity Company Nguyen Thanh Phuong said that the project has helped increase safety in operation and release capacity for hydropower and solar power plants in the region with a capacity of about 240. MW; at the same time, to be able to release the capacity of regional electricity development planning in the coming time, while ensuring electricity supply to meet the needs of socio-economic development, security and national defense in the region. Central – Central Highlands in general and Kon Tum province in particular./.
