At Vietbuild 2021 exhibition taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, many visitors were attracted by the 3D lenticular imaging technology products of Thadan 3DX Global Company. These images have depth, motion and alternating changes, looking at any angle feels real thanks to lenticular technology to create 3D stereos.

This technique is applied on TPU, PPV, PET … materials for advertising, media, printing, textile, architecture and many other fields, increasing visual effects, creating products. deep, vibrant, and engaging. Customers are impressed by the vivid products made by the 3D lenticular technology. These products are the result of researching and researching over 10 years of husband and wife Nguyen Thanh Danh and Ms. Ly Thanh Phong – owner of Thadan 3DX Global. Danh has learned about 3D printing technology since 2009 and went to China – where the technology and market is vibrant – to learn. Returning to Vietnam, realizing that basic knowledge is not enough, Danh continued his research on the applicability of the domestic market, environmental characteristics as well as the corresponding materials to produce products. Still seeing the need for more instructors, Mr. Danh invited Israeli experts to Vietnam for technical advice. Products applying 3D lenticular technology are deep and vivid, widely used in many fields. A 3D painting sample used in printing must go through many stages, requiring thinking ability, creating and supporting software. First of all, the technician chooses a beautiful, sharp image template suitable for the subject, and uses photo editing software to crop the subject as required. After that, the images, background details are adjusted, and then according to the law of near big – far small, near clear – far away and blurry, they are merged into pictures so that there is depth and light consistency. Each picture like this will have many layers (layers), each layer is a position in the picture. The person performing these stages need to have an aesthetic level, master the light distribution technique in the picture in order to create a vivid and aesthetically pleasing template. After having a complete prototype, the technical team uses a variety of software to process it before putting it on the printer. Mr. Danh imparts his experience in researching and developing techniques for creating 3D effects for girls. Mr. Danh said that the 3D lenticular printing technology can be applied to a variety of printing materials and is present in many popular printing products such as rulers, drinking glasses, paper decals, landscape photos, animals and wedding photos. In addition, Thadan 3DX Global Company is developing 3D image technology products used for shoes, bags, shirts, cars and for interior decoration. Especially in the advertising industry, 3D image technology products help to achieve the goal of attracting viewers for a longer period of time. Ms. Ly Thanh Phong shared about the story that made up the poster of the movie Flip: 48h. It is possible to see that Danh’s debut product debuted to the public is the movie poster Flip: 48h which is loved by many audiences. In addition, he also opened a coffee shop with nearly 100 3D paintings of various sizes in Tan Phu district (Ho Chi Minh City). Thadan 3DX Global’s 3D printing technology demonstrates applied art of the new era, especially applied to architectural works such as villas, movie theaters, restaurants, beauty salons, …

Dang Huy Hoang (born 1990, Hanoi) is an automotive design engineer who graduated from art school in the US. Not only in Vietnam, but also in the international Lego Association, Huy Hoang is also quite famous for owning a collection of up to thousands of models. The 31-year-old engineer’s Lego sets are of different sizes. He even has a hobby of collecting rare Lego models, produced in the 60s. Hoang began to learn and know about this hobby in 2012, while studying in the US. At first, Hoang bought each set with specific assembly instructions, after a period of in-depth research, he began to design his own work. Up to now, he owns about 70% of Lego sets produced from 1989-2000, in the future, he will aim to collect the whole set. This is also one of the products that gives Hoang the most emotion and effort. “The cyclo is assembled from more than 1,000 parts. To simulate real life, it takes me about 3 months, searching and collecting the pieces. Also, the cyclo cushion and cover, I have to ordered from a 1998 girls’ Lego collection. “ The Ha Thanh boy revealed that the cost of this hobby is quite expensive, but he liked it so he could not stop. “Just like some of you like shoes, bags, plants, pets … I like Lego. Once I have self-control, I can balance my expenses so that I can play without bothering. Especially, the most important thing is that I always receive support from my wife and family “. Engineer Ha Thanh said that it is very difficult to preserve these models. Must have anti-dust glass cabinets, to the details in the box, classified according to each color group and avoid exposure to sunlight.
