In the process of researching soil and choosing suitable crops, for more than 20 years, Khanh Son has become the “capital” of fruit trees with durian, green-skinned pomelo, rambutan, mangosteen, etc. jackfruit, oranges, tangerines… Unlike the southern provinces, the orchards are sometimes located on the isles… but Khanh Son has a mountainous terrain, so the fruit gardens create a strange appearance, so that when you come to visit it, it’s like you’re going to conquer something. something amusing. Exiting To Hap town, you will encounter many roads leading to the orchards. Each garden grows a different type of tree, vast, sometimes located in a valley, sometimes on the ground, with wavy slopes. Usually the orchards are not fenced, trees just grow and bear fruit naturally, no one steals. Visitors buy Khanh Son durian. In the fruit tree season, the whole land of Khanh Son is bustling everywhere. The rambutan trees give very sweet fruit, the green-skinned pomelo is also very sweet and it is impossible not to mention the staple tree: Khanh Son durian. Those who come to Khanh Son in the ripe fruit season will definitely go to a durian garden to see firsthand the durian trees full of fruit, eat a few pieces and buy some to take home. The price to buy durian at the garden is sometimes only half the price at the market, so some people buy up to a few dozen kilograms to give to friends. Each durian garden in Khanh Son is a few hectares wide, the land is also high and low, so it is normal to visit the garden to climb up and down. Entering the durian garden, the first thing is to visit, to be surprised to see the durian trees are very large, chit fruit. You can visit any durian garden to visit and be invited to eat durian… In May and lasts until the end of summer, Khanh Son is bustling in the season of ripe fruit. Finding Khanh Son in these days, going to that orchard is also interesting. KHUE VIET TRUONG

If you can go on the road with the steps prepared, if you just need to get on a bus to get to that waterfall, then you will not meet Ta Gu waterfall.
So far, there has never been a tour that takes you here. However, it is the true backpacking trip: backpack on the shoulder, carry food and drink, bring a vehicle to the forest is on the way. Because when you arrive, you will see the strange charm of this waterfall. And when the legs have to crawl up each cliff, clinging to each tree root to touch, they see the value of discovering a primeval forest, a waterfall that has never had human footprints. Of course, now many people have come.

Ta Gu waterfall is located in Son Hiep commune, Khanh Son mountainous district (Khanh Hoa). From Cam Ranh city, turn along Provincial Road 9, go on the romantic Khanh Son pass about 40km to To Hap town. There is no signpost indicating where Ta Gu waterfall is, other than asking locals. Sometimes seeing you lost your way, people stop and say: “Are you going to Ta Gu waterfall? Let’s go this way.” I have met such enthusiastic people, so that once I can leave my footprints on this mysterious waterfall. From Hung Vuong street go forever, turn many times, go on a small dirt road, go up high, down low … finally to the waterfall. On holidays, there is only one person to keep the car, but normally, you just lock the car there and start conquering. On the way, you can stop at Apa Buoi bridge to see the unique stream flowing backwards to the West, feeling like water flowing from low to high. Ta Gu Waterfall was formerly known as Ivory Waterfall, later named Ta Gu because its water flows into the stream of the same name. The story associated with the waterfall is told by the old people here, then handed down. It was from the time when heaven and earth were in harmony, there was a stream with flowers blooming in four seasons and blue water. The fairies in the sky fly down to bathe in the stream, then go to the top of the mountain to dry their long hair. In it, there is the Ut fairy, because she was busy playing, the door of heaven was closed, and she turned into a waterfall on earth. The high mountain that the waterfall flows down like an ivory has a beautiful name: Mount Chalo. In fact, Ta Gu waterfall has been known for only a few years now, when many young people keep riding motorbikes and go out to explore. From then on, the discoveries to the waterfall kept increasing. It is undeniable that going to Ta Gu waterfall is a real adventure. The way down below is a dangerous one. The cliff collapsed, the tree roots protruded, the adventurer kept clinging to the tree’s roots, looking for the protruding mounds of earth to climb down to the waterfall. In fact, when I got there, I only saw rocks covered, and the water was flowing downhill. But you have to go to the end, so you jump on the cliffs to cross to the other side of the stream. The rocks here are very slippery, so many people in the front have deliberately dropped large bamboo branches for the following people to cling to. The simpler way is to just roll up your pants and wade through the water, because the highest place the water level is about 0.8m. After crossing the bank, go along the forest path opened by the previous person. The road is small, about 0.4m wide, very difficult to go, sometimes going up, sometimes going down, sometimes you have to cling to the roots of trees to climb. Finally to the cliff. The most difficult thing is to climb down the cliff at a height of 5m to conquer Ta Gu waterfall. There are many people who give up, just sitting on the rocks from afar and watching. Touching Ta Gu waterfall will feel different from any waterfall you have been to. The clear white water flows without noise, pouring into a lake about 200m2 wide. Next to the lake is a cliff about 6m high. There are many primeval forest trees here, many flat rocks to rest, sit there and watch the waterfall. In particular, there are many holly trees on the side of large trees. Currently, Ta Gu waterfall still has no services, but the attraction of the unspoiled waterfall has made more and more footsteps come. https://dulich.petrotimes.vn/
