Hoping for a dream summer vacation

Mr. Gabriel Stulman has just reopened his restaurant called The Jones in New York (USA) after a year of closure. Although the restaurant will have to practice social distancing, it’s much better than closing anyway. “ I am very happy and optimistic ,” Mr. Stulman told the Wall Street Journal. According to statistics from the online table booking platform OpenTable, the number of table reservations at restaurants across the US has reached 100% compared to 2019. Cultural activities also began to return to serve the entertainment needs of the people. The San Francisco Orchestra opened its first live concert this year, and the Kansas City Orchestra plans to perform again later this month. In Europe, people are equally excited when schools, shops and beaches reopen. Spaniards poured into the streets dancing and chanting “freedom” as the travel ban was lifted. Ireland lifted the ban on domestic travel and gradually allowed non-essential services to reopen. Germans congratulate each other after the country announced the third wave of infections was under control. The European Union has officially approved the reopening of borders to vaccinated travelers or visitors from safe countries, providing a glimmer of hope for Europeans for a dream summer vacation outside. Mediterranean beach after a year “hidden” in the house. Tourism, aviation recover In the long queue at Gatwick Airport (London, England), husband and wife Keith and Mr. Janice Tomsett can’t wait to fly to the beautiful Portuguese island of Madeira for their summer vacation. “ After 15 months of being locked in, today’s trip was amazing! ” said Mr. Tomsett. Tower Bridge in London (UK) will be bustling again when British people’s lives return to normal (photo: Duc Minh) Amanda Brown is also eagerly waiting to fly from London to Faro (Portugal) to meet her boyfriend. The two have been apart for 8 months and she had to cancel her flight 6 times because of the epidemic situation. I call this trip “ can’t wait i”. “ I am very excited. I didn’t sleep last night. Great to see everything back to normal ” shared Amanda. The above story was recorded by The Sun at Gatwich airport when the UK’s summer tourist opening policy took effect. British people can go to tourist destinations on the safe list without having to be quarantined when returning. This opening has contributed to helping UK airports become more crowded in recent days. In Greece, tourists started returning to the country after the border was opened. “ People are very optimistic, the number of bookings has increased a lot in the past two weeks. The tourist season will return soon “, Dimitris Lianos, mayor of the island of Naxos (Greece) told AP. An attraction in the city of Barcelona (Spain) is expected to welcome back many tourists after the travel ban is lifted (photo: Duc Minh) Airports across the US have also been crowded again after the tourism industry recovered from March 2021. Southwest Airlines data shows that bookings for summer vacations are quite high. If the situation continues to be positive, in this June, the airline may reach the milestone of the number of flights performed in the same period in 2019 – when there was no epidemic. With American Airlines, by the end of April 2021, the number of daily bookings has returned to the level of 2019, even though international flight tickets are not included. Vasu Raja, Chief Revenue Officer of American Airlines, said: “ During peak holidays or holidays, the demand for flights is much greater than the supply “. The fact that people in many countries are optimistic about returning to normal life shows that the COVID-19 epidemic has been well controlled. In the near future, depending on the speed of vaccination of countries, COVID-19 will be repelled and all activities of the world economy will recover and develop strongly.

Continuing to research and successfully manufacture Amphabio PCR test kits with the ability to test quickly and in large quantities at the same time, which is currently being used effectively in Bac Giang province. Notably, the Academy has been trusted by the Ministry of Health to carry out phase 1 and 2 clinical trials for the Nano Covax vaccine against Covid-19 (from December 2020) and both are generating antibodies. It is expected that from June 2021, there will be a phase 3 clinical trial, deploying over 13,000 volunteers 18 years of age or older. In addition, the Academy has mobilized staff to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Quang Nam, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Laos. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited and worked at the Military Medical Academy – Photo: Thanh Chung Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the efforts and achievements that the Military Medical Academy has achieved during 72 years of construction and growth, which has received the most noble achievements of the Party. , state and military. In particular, in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Military Medical Academy is one of the active, active and effective participating units. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that in the current period, the task of effective disease prevention is the focus in the implementation of “dual duty”, so vaccines are an important “weapon”, strategic, decisive issues to end and conquer disease. “The XIII Congress of the Party has set a key task of focusing on controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, mass vaccination of the community with Covid-19 vaccine. Therefore, the Military Medical Academy closely coordinates with other agencies. Relevant ministries and sectors urgently speed up the phase 3 clinical trial of the Nano Covax vaccine against Covid-19, striving for early results to have a preventive vaccine for the community” – National Assembly Chairman assigned. The National Assembly Chairman also suggested that the Military Medical Academy should identify challenges such as, there are many domestic and foreign facilities focusing on research and production of vaccines. Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue analyzed that if there is no superior vaccine in terms of quality, price and supply quantity, it will fall into an opportunity trap. A number of vaccine products have been born and put into circulation in countries, along with rigorous testing by the health systems of countries, approved by WHO. However, there is currently a vaccine that has shown its effectiveness compared to the new variant; There are scenarios of monopolistic production, imposing price and quantity, but also opportunities for technology transfer in the direction of humane sharing. “So, the Military Medical Academy to research and produce vaccines, it is necessary to have the shortest time of antibodies, the shortest number of days, the better. The side effects must be minimized, especially for people with underlying diseases. and weak health. Having the ability to resist and adapt to new variants of the virus,” suggested the National Assembly Chairman. At the meeting, the Military Medical Academy proposed to allow the Academy to organize the implementation of the project “Research and Development Center for Human Infectious Diseases” which was approved by the Prime Minister at the government office. Document No. 164 dated December 31, 2020 of the Government Office, which is expected to have a number of functions and tasks such as research on pathogens, development and production of biological products for detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. treating infectious diseases, especially dangerous and extremely dangerous diseases, contributing to protecting the health of soldiers and people, especially in emergency and disaster situations. Researching foundational technologies in development, technology transfer and production of vaccines against infectious diseases, especially dangerous and dangerous infectious diseases. Agreeing with the proposal of the Military Medical Academy, National Assembly Chairwoman Vuong Dinh Hue suggested, the Academy needs a state-level scientific research program and emergency approval to research and test. production of vaccines for human infectious diseases. The Ministry of National Defense shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in, facilitating and directing the Military Medical Academy to accelerate the implementation of the project “Research and development center for human infectious diseases vaccines” under the theme of: Government policy. Also this afternoon, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited the vaccine research and production laboratory at the Military Medicine Research Center building, under the Military Medical Academy.
Family members visit patients online at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Visiting relatives through the screen His mother TVH (70 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) unfortunately slipped and fell, causing a broken hip and was taken to the Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment. After performing hip replacement surgery, she had to stay under observation in the hospital for 2 weeks. Due to the epidemic, the hospital has a regulation that only one person can raise the disease. In order to take care of her in the best way, and at the same time have more time to deal with work, Mr. H. used the BV’s service of replacing relatives to take care of his mother. With this service, medical staff will help family members take care of patients. Meanwhile, family members of Mr. H. can still visit patients online via a computer screen located at the Hospital’s Medical Condition Explanation Room. Images of doctors, nurses directly treating and caring, and patients are integrated and transmitted online. Through the screen, relatives can listen to doctors explain their medical conditions and chat online with their loved ones. “The online patient visit service is applicable to intensive care units and critical illness wards in clinical departments (no caregivers) such as Neurology – Acute Stroke Intensive Care Unit, Respiratory Department, etc. – Prevention of Severe Diseases, Department of Interventional Cardiology – Department of Cardiovascular Resuscitation… Each department and unit will have a certain time frame to explain the disease status online to the patient’s family. With this form, the hospital not only ensures the regulation of not visiting patients, meeting the goals of epidemic prevention and control, and creating conditions for relatives to update the health status of their loved ones being treated,” said a representative of the hospital. In recent days, visitors at Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) have had access to a new monitoring method, which is fingerprint scanning to better prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic. According to Cho Ray Hospital, the method of monitoring visitation activities done so far, including visiting cards and relatives’ shirts (yellow), has not helped the goal of thorough monitoring. The patient’s family members scan their fingerprints every time they enter and exit the hospital to ensure the correct person has previously registered. After the patient’s family member finished pressing the machine, the security guard always reminded everyone to wash their hands with prepared hand sanitizer. “In the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, the issue of preventing the spread of disease in the hospital is a priority. Therefore, we strive to be more modern in monitoring and management of visitation activities. The hospital side hopes that patients and relatives will share this effort and join hands to make COVID-19 prevention activities more effective”, said Dr. BS Nguyen Tri Thuc, Director of Cho Ray Hospital. . Identification by “click, touch” Meanwhile, in order to monitor COVID-19 disease prevention and control activities, Nguyen Trai Hospital collaborated with an information technology unit to build a software “stay management of sick breeders” and put it into use since May. April 2021. Accordingly, after the medical declaration at the gate, the patient when coming to the treatment departments will make a second declaration and present their citizen identification, provide a phone number, take a photo… Then the staff enters the software and Print “Patient card” with patient name, name of patient, treatment department, disease prevention, registration date and registration code. During monitoring, the guard only needs to enter the registration code into the software installed in the mobile phone, all information and images of the patient appear on the screen. The information matches, the new breeder can enter the department. Similarly, Children’s Hospital 2 also applies facial recognition of children’s relatives before entering the child care department. Dr. Le Thi Minh Hong, Deputy Director of Children’s Hospital 2, said that controlling sick people with their faces helps children’s relatives as well as medical staff to minimize COVID-19 infection. This application also contributes to the security management of the hospital, because crooks do not have the opportunity to infiltrate inside through normal feeding cards as before. Assoc. Prof. TS.BS Tang Chi Thuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the city’s health sector encourages hospitals in the area to implement information technology applications in management. The purpose is to improve the quality of health care and ensure the safety of patients and hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Minh Hong added that the hospital currently has 777 pediatric patients, each patient is only allowed to take care of one family member directly. Since having the facial recognition code of the patient, the number of people at the hospital has been strictly controlled. If the sick person needs to rest, the hospital will support the registration of facial recognition for another relative to replace. According to hospitals, the patient identification and management software updates the time every day, so unfortunately there is a case of SARS-CoV-2 infection entering the hospital, it will trace the relevant people very quickly and accurately with just a few clicks. the “click, swipe”. This helps health authorities to localize and promptly handle and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Demand for tickets to an exhibition of Renaissance sculpture at the Louvre has spiked. According to the plan, after the second phase of easing the COVID-19 epidemic prevention, France will fully open the economy on June 30. Similarly, the Austrian Government also eased epidemic prevention measures on May 19, accordingly reopening restaurants and bars after a 6-month shutdown to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. 19. However, this relaxation decision only applies to those who have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, or have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or have recovered. recovering from this illness. * Around 50,000 travel professionals from around the world gathered in the Spanish capital Madrid on May 19 for a five-day fair. This is the first travel fair to be held in a live format during the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. The organizers of the FITUR International Tourism Fair expect to welcome 100,000 visitors at this year’s fair, of which 50% are ordinary people who will be allowed to attend this event during the weekend. Last year, the event attracted nearly 260,000 visitors. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, this year’s fair will reduce the maximum number of visitors, while side festivals will not be held and seminars within the framework of this fair will be held. operate in an online form. The FITUR international travel fair is held in the context that Europe and many other countries have been eased from epidemic prevention measures and people around the globe are preparing to resume travel activities. Tourism is one of the sectors most severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to estimates by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the number of people traveling in 2020 has decreased by 74% compared to 2019.

Tourists visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Documentary photo: AFP/VNA Although reopening to welcome visitors, this tourist destination still ensures the implementation of medical measures to prevent epidemics. Accordingly, the number of tourists visiting this place will be limited to 10,000 people / day. In order to ensure social distancing, only half the number of regular visitors are allowed to use the elevator. In addition, visitors will have access to all attractions within the Tower grounds, except for some areas under renovation. During the first wave of COVID-19 epidemics in the spring of 2020, the Eiffel Tower had to be closed for 3 months, then closed again from the fall of 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic re-emerged. Online ticket booking service to visit this place will start operating from June 1. * Meanwhile, Giorgio Armani, an Italian fashion house, announced that it will hold a live show to introduce the men’s Spring Summer collection on June 21 in Milan. This will be the company’s first live show after more than a year of conducting online shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that Armani will also have a private show at the Italian Embassy on July 6 within the framework of the Paris fashion show. However, Armani said the show schedule could change depending on the epidemic situation. Thus, Armani is the first Italian fashion house to announce plans to perform live. Previously, Armani was also the first fashion house to announce the cessation of live fashion shows in February 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out and spread strongly throughout Italy.

Rakesh and Dakshina invited 161 guests to their wedding ceremony on the plane. Rakesh and Dakshina, from Madurai, India decided to get married, but due to restrictions and regulations to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, the couple came up with the idea of having a wedding ceremony on an airplane. The couple made this a reality when chartering a plane and holding a wedding ceremony on a flight from Madurai to Bangalore on May 23. The flight took off from Madurai International Airport at 7 a.m., although the guest list far exceeded the state government’s limit for maximum gatherings at an event. The video shows the flight filled with guests as the couple stood in front of the aisle and performed the ceremony. The groom can be seen placing a traditional ornament around the bride’s neck while attendees cheer and toss flowers at them. The flight was packed with people. Rakesh and Dakshina officially performed the ceremony as soon as the plane flew over Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. After the wedding on the plane, the couple went to a hotel in Bangalore for a small reception. All passengers on board, who are their relatives, have had RT-PCR tests and tested negative. However, many guests chose not to wear masks and did not keep a safe distance. The police have received information about the incident and are considering whether to open an investigation into violations of regulations on prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic.

VNA upgraded the level of epidemic prevention and enhanced passenger support. (Photo: provided by VNA) From May 11, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will raise the standard of epidemic prevention and control to level 2 on a 4-level scale for all domestic flights; increase resources to support passengers in case the operation plan is changed due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. The main measures implemented by VNA to ensure disease safety include strict inspection of medical declaration and temperature measurement of passengers before the flight; refuse to transport passengers with abnormal health symptoms; install disinfection mats at the boarding gate; arrange flight crews to move within the airport and between the airport – city by separate vehicles; ensure that passengers and crew wear masks throughout the journey; provide antibacterial towels to passengers on the flight; disinfect the aircraft at the end of the day and periodically maintain the HEPA air filter. Facing the complicated development of the epidemic, VNA also adjusted the flight schedule of domestic and international flights. Passengers can consult the flight schedule and check the flight status themselves on the airline’s website. For passengers whose flights are affected, the airline makes every effort to ensure that all passengers are promptly notified of the flight schedule change via text, email or direct call. In order to support passengers who need to change or refund tickets due to the impact of the epidemic, from May 10, VNA has implemented a support policy for tickets purchased in the Vietnamese market and has a completely domestic itinerary. . Passengers can refer to the ticket exchange and refund policy at the airline’s website. In order to save time for passengers, VNA has implemented a feature to help passengers actively cancel their seats, change tickets and refund tickets to vouchers right on the website, in the booking management section located on the homepage. VNA notes that passengers do not plan to take the booked flight, before conducting the procedures for ticket exchange or refund, passengers need to cancel the booked seat to avoid losing the no-show fee. Valid cancellation time is at least 3 hours before the departure time indicated on the ticket. In particular, VNA is free to refund tickets for passengers who choose to exchange vouchers with 100% of the refund value. This voucher can be used to buy airline tickets, checked baggage and other additional services of the airline. During this time, due to the high demand for flight changes, VNA has arranged more resources to respond to messages, calls and emails sent to customer care, but the response time to passengers is limited. may be slower than usual.

According to AFP news agency, to celebrate the lifting of the curfew, people poured into the streets to participate in parties. However, very few people follow the epidemic prevention regulations. In the capital Madrid, people form crowds dancing and singing in the streets without wearing masks. The scene is likened to a celebration on New Year’s Eve. Local police were forced to disperse crowds moving from downtown Puerta del Sol square. People gather to drink beer and sing without observing any regulations on epidemic prevention. However, regional governments can still limit the opening hours and number of guests of bars and restaurants. Regions can also ask the court to approve more stringent disease prevention measures such as re-imposing curfews, limiting the number of people gathering indoors or extending the travel ban in the region. Previously, the Spanish Government applied emergency measures to prevent the epidemic such as a night curfew, a ban on non-essential travel between regions. Authorities temporarily lifted restrictions for a few days over Christmas. However, due to a sharp increase in the number of cases after this holiday, Spain has decided not to relax its domestic travel restrictions during the Easter week – usually the peak tourist season here. According to Worldometer website statistics, as of 6am on May 10, Spain recorded over 3.5 million cases of COVID-19, including at least 78,000 deaths.

Andrew (46 years old, living in London, England) did not wear a mask during the 2020 epidemic season. He did not even have a mask. He said that studies on masks are conflicting, especially highlighting that wearing them is not effective, even though it is scientifically proven that wearing masks helps reduce the spread of the virus.

“I agree that vulnerable people want to wear masks as a precaution, but that’s their own choice,” Andrew said. When someone asked why he didn’t wear them when he went to public places such as supermarkets, subways, he lied, “I am exempt from wearing masks”. Many men refuse to wear masks because they consider it a sign of lack of masculinity and weakness. Photo: Cottonbro / Pexels. According to the The Independent Wearing a mask is the most important method to prevent the virus from spreading. The World Health Organization has been urging people to wear masks since June 2020, a scientific review published in July of the same year in the Journal of the American Medical Association described it as “an important important” in the fight against Covid-19. However, the disturbing fact is that there is a large number of people who refuse to wear masks like Andrew, the majority of which are men. A survey of 2,459 people in the US conducted by two academics at Middlesex University (London) and the University of Berkeley (California, USA) in May 2020 found that men are not only less likely to wear masks in public places. women, many of whom even consider wearing them “embarrassing, uncomfortable and a sign of weakness”. “Wearing a mask is a sign of weakness” Even when he tested positive for Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized, former US President Donald Trump still wanted to show that he did not need a mask, he took it off while standing on the steps of the White House after returning from the hospital. institute. “I don’t wear a mask like him. Standing a few dozen meters away, he was still wearing the biggest mask I’ve ever seen,” Trump said of President Joe Biden during the September 2020 debate. Trump seems to be implying that not wearing a mask means he is showing overwhelming strength against his opponent. Many men believe that only vulnerable people need to wear masks. Photo: Rex Features. A study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation, an American NGO that focuses on public health issues, found that 68% of women regularly wear masks when leaving the house, this number in men is 49%. Emma Lygnerud Boberg, gender and program development consultant at International Media Support (Denmark), said: “This is a trend that we have seen before, where men appear to be reluctant to adopt measures. preventive measures than women”. She further notes that this is also consistent with other data, like men wearing seat belts less often than women. Peter Glick, an expert at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, says that men seem willing to take greater risks in everyday life, and that there are toxic gender stereotypes that force men to flex their muscles and fear. hurt. “Men are socialized to be dominant and independent. All these characteristics are intended to reinforce patriarchal norms that present masculinity as a performance. Wearing a mask can be interpreted as It shows weakness in some men. It shows that they are openly afraid of this virus, which means breaking courage,” he told The Independent. Toxic gender stereotypes Preliminary research by James Mahalik, Boston College professor of Developmental Educational Psychology, and doctoral fellows Michael Di Bianca and Michael Harris suggests that individualist tendencies and skepticism toward science Education can be directly related to whether or not a person will accept wearing a mask. To find out why some men refused to wear masks, Mahalik surveyed 596 men across 49 states, of various ages, with incomes ranging from less than $10,000 a year to more than $200,000 a year. The survey asked each person to rate whether they identified certain masculinity standards and to express their thoughts on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to minimize sexual harassment. spread of Covid-19. Toxic gender stereotypes are part of the reason some men don’t want to wear masks. In general, respondents felt positive about the Covid-19 prevention guidelines and said they adhered to them (since this was self-provided data, the researchers could not confirm that they actually wear masks all the time). Men who hold negative views on public health recommendations, such as social distancing and wearing face masks, also have traditional masculinity ideals revolving around emotional control, self-reliance, unity, and self-reliance. dominance, victory, power over women, and heterosexual self-expression. “We found that media masculinity saw less benefit from following CDC guidelines. They see more barriers, less trust in science, and they have less empathy for vulnerable or high-risk people,” Mahalik told Fast Company. Instead of trying to convince masculine men to change core elements of their identities, public health officials might consider reducing individualism in men by focusing on more socially friendly aspects of traditional masculinity.

These days, when the Covid-19 epidemic is complicated and need to limit going out to prevent epidemics, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (office worker, living in Hanoi) has a habit of buying and storing food. once a week. Ms. Thu Ha shared: Usually she only goes to the market once a week on weekends. The amount of food each time she buys just enough for 7-10 days to ensure quality. According to the mother of these two children, if applying the way she is doing, the days when she comes home from work, cooking becomes idle only takes 15-20 minutes. Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha said that preliminarily processing and packing into separate boxes helps you save time when cooking. With her blood and blood experience in the first time, she did not process much, sometimes only wash and put a pound of meat in the freezer, until she only took 1 pound of meat to cook for 1 meal to see the suffering. After changing “tactics”, she began to prepare food, cut into pieces enough for one meal and then divided into small trays and boxes. Here are some food preservation tips that Ms. Ha has applied to both cook and keep the freshness, deliciousness, and ensure the food safety of the food. For sliced or chopped foods (ground meat, chicken heart, oyster gut …) Ms. Ha shared that she often went to the supermarket to buy clean food and then put it in an ice tray with a lid, which helps to preserve the food in each box, easy to take, and quickly defrost. If 1 person eats 1 umbrella, 3 people can eat 3-4 plots, depending on need. For scallions, tomatoes Onions are seasoning vegetables used regularly in the meals of Mrs. Ha’s family. Wash onions, flake or roast all the water, cut into pieces or shred them into a bowl, drop the onions in boiling water. Very convenient and there will be onions at all times. With tomatoes, too, she often buys a lot and after cleaning and removing the damaged part, she chooses the areca piece to keep it in the tray in the freezer. Root onions you can plug into a bowl of water to have more fresh onions Tomato is a difficult food to preserve, but Ms. Ha is very confident with how not to spoil tomatoes. She often buys a lot, washed and cut off the damaged part, sliced the areca nut and put it in the tray to prevent freezer. For fish meat: Rinse, drain, place in a tray and put in freezer. For leafy vegetables: N If you wash it, you must rotate it to drain it for a long time. If it doesn’t drain, the vegetables will quickly get boots. Lettuce should be washed and dried for 5 days. Small food in freezer. What to do if the container is large and has a small meal every meal? Use foil to prevent food layers, this prevents food from sticking together, and thinly spread foods also thaw faster. Separating the 2 layers of meat with foil prevents the meat from sticking to each other. The way to do it is very simple: Put the food in the box, spread 1 layer of foil, place the second layer of food, then put foil again, and do so until the box is full. Or you can replace foil with banana leaves, that will better protect the environment. Choose good food containers According to Ms. Ha, in order to preserve food well, fresh for a long time, the food containers must be really good. Should use a storage box suitable for the freezer. There are several types of high-end plastic containers, which when storing frozen food, are easy to remove, but the food does not stick to the side of the box. The sealed box has both good preservation and no mixed smell in the refrigerator, for 7-10 days for vegetables, and still fresh for 20 days of fruits.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders wish to increase coverage of Covid-19 vaccine for the entire population, buying active vaccines by themselves.
On April 23, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam led the Government’s delegation to work with Ho Chi Minh City on epidemic control in the new situation.

Offer to compensate for epidemic prevention According to the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, there were 246 cases of Covid-19 recorded in the area, of which 222 cases had been cured, and 24 people undergoing medical treatment were stable; 2,572 people are on concentrated isolation and 1 person is on home isolation. From March 8 to April 18, the city health sector injected Covid-19 vaccine phase 1 for 9,155 health workers of 73 public health facilities. From April 19, the city continued to inject phase 2 for 1,022 employees of 10 medical facilities. Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Tan Binh proposed to increase sanctions, severely punish illegal entries. In addition, in these cases, it is necessary to compensate for the epidemic prevention cost for quarantined contacts, whether positive or negative. Medical care for Covid-19 epidemic prevention in Ho Chi Minh City (Photo: NGUYEN THANH) Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong said that in the past time, in the city, 108 cases of illegal entry have been discovered. The city has issued a letter to coordinate with localities bordering other countries on this issue, and at the same time petitioned Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam to direct border provinces to increase control over immigration. illegal. Ho Chi Minh City leaders expressed their wish to increase coverage of Covid-19 vaccine for the entire population. The city will buy the active vaccine by itself. There is a company in the city that is researching, testing and producing vaccines. In a special case, the city will consider this production because it is a problem for the city. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Dac Dam said that Ho Chi Minh City is a large center with a wide trade density. There are many good ways to create lessons for the whole country in the past outbreaks. Ho Chi Minh City strengthens the control of people who illegally enter the border area, continues to bring people back in the spirit of not only safe isolation but also post-isolation monitoring; strictly handle the case of illegal entry, intentionally not making a declaration. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the number of cases in some Asian countries has increased recently by 34% and that in neighboring countries is also increasing. The number of people crossing the border illegally through the trail, the opening is difficult to control. Just missing one case of Covid-19 in crowded events will have unpredictable consequences. He welcomed the units to actively produce and test vaccines. It is necessary to immediately update technology and biologicals for testing, at the same time the Ministry of Health completes vaccination procedures. The Deputy Prime Minister proposed to strictly follow the 5K rule, strictly control people who enter illegally and have a specific plan for Covid-19 vaccination in the coming time. Ca Mau: Recommended specialized equipment In the afternoon of the same day, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan had a working session with the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province on immigration management, isolation, medical supervision, Covid-19 vaccination implementation, work medical service for the election of deputies to the XV National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, for the 2021-2026 term in the province. Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Director of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province, said the province is facing a number of difficulties such as the number of people entering illegally because the locality has a sea route bordering many countries in the region; With large and sparsely populated areas, it is difficult to detect cases early from epidemic zones to localities. At the same time, the preparation for the first vaccination launch, distribution of vaccines to the locality is still slow or the expiry date of vaccines is short, so the implementation of vaccination faces difficulties. Since then, the representative of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province has proposed to the Ministry of Health to consider prioritizing the distribution of vaccines, supporting training, professional training for Covid-19 epidemic prevention or supporting the sites. specialized equipment, especially for testing and treating positive patients in the event of an outbreak. Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan suggested that Ca Mau not neglect and be subjective in the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic because the locality has a long coastline, on the border of Kien Giang – a province bordering with Cambodia … Relevant industries need to coordinate closely to promptly detect and handle illegal entry cases. 14 more cases of Covid-19 were found to be on entry The Ministry of Health said that on April 23, our country discovered 14 more cases of Covid-19, which were isolated cases after entry in Nam Dinh, Da Nang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, An Giang and TP. HCM City. Currently, our country has recorded 2,830 cases of Covid-19, of which 1,570 cases of Covid-19 were caused by domestic infections. For nearly a month, Vietnam has not reported cases of Covid-19 in the community. The Ministry of Health said 128,610 people had been vaccinated against Covid-19 over the past month. N. Dung

Korean netizens have always looked at idols who wear fancy clothes for everyday situations. Jeon Somi was in trouble because the LV mask was nearly 7 million and most recently, Jennie was criticized just because she wore a hundred million Chanel shirt to go to see the flowers.

Earlier this year, Jeon Somi showed off everyday photos, wore a warm life jacket, and wore a mask to prevent epidemics carefully. But the mask with the LV logo printed on it worth 330 thousand won (about 6.6 million VND) became the center of controversy. Because rare K-Pop idols appear in public with luxurious masks like Somi, this expensive accessory accidentally becomes the topic of comment. Anti-fans were accused of criticizing Jeon Somi for not having any musical achievements, but only netizens noticed by showing off brand names, and then “quibble” that not knowing that the LV mask has a more effective epidemic room than the one. Normally, the price is so expensive. Recently, it was Jennie’s turn to be examined while watching the cherry blossoms. The BLACKPINK member wears a cardigan and a sweet Chanel pink backpack, and a pink hat creates a lovely look, very suitable for taking pictures with cherry blossoms. While people were praising Jennie for a good coordination, many anti-fans started to “peel off” the set of clothes Jennie wore. Branded jackets and backpacks cost nearly $ 8,000 (about 185 million dong) for two items. Although not the most expensive items that Jennie has ever worn, many viewers criticized that Jennie did not need to wear such expensive clothes just to walk the street to see the flowers, but if it was Jennie to buy it herself, it would be too much. waste. Immediately, the BLINKs defended that Jennie is the representative face of Chanel, so it is too normal to wear the same company’s clothes often. Whether it is a sponsor or Jennie buys herself, there is nothing to blame, because Jennie has worked hard and made a lot of money, she has the right to reward herself with beautiful items.

The Deputy Prime Minister asked Ho Chi Minh City to strictly comply with the 5K rule, tightly control people who enter illegally and have a specific plan for Covid-19 vaccination in the coming time.
On the morning of April 23, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam led a working delegation of the Government to work with Ho Chi Minh City on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

The content of the work revolves around epidemic control issues in the new situation, strict control of people entering illegally, the situation of isolated areas and vaccination in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said that in the past month, there were 108 cases of illegal entry in the city. The city has issued a letter to coordinate with localities that have border lines bordering other countries on this issue. The city proposes to direct border provinces to increase control over people who enter illegally. Reporters watched the meeting chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister via the camera of the press room City leaders also expressed the desire of the city to increase coverage of Covid-19 vaccine for the entire population. The city reports that the Government will actively purchase vaccines by itself. There is a company in the city in the process of researching, testing and producing vaccines. In a special case, the city will consider this production because it is a problem for the city. Currently, Vietnam Fatherland Front of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized nearly 150 billion VND to buy vaccines for the entire population. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Dac Dam assessed that Ho Chi Minh City is a great center. Over the past time, there have been many good and creative ways to give lessons to the whole country in the recent epidemics. Over a long time, no community infection appeared, so everyone’s mentality was subjective, began to loosen the epidemic prevention. Therefore, it is necessary to tighten and continue the anti-epidemic spirit like fighting the enemy. Especially close to the holidays of April 30 and 1-5, tourists will increase, so it is necessary to have strict measures. The Deputy Prime Minister asked the city to strictly comply with the 5K rule, tightly control people who enter illegally and have a specific plan for Covid-19 vaccination in the coming time. Strengthen control over people entering the border area illegally. Strictly handle the case of illegal entry, intentionally not making a declaration. “The number of cases in some Asian countries has recently increased 34% and our neighboring countries have also increased. The number of people crossing the border illegally through the tracks, the opening is difficult to control. Covid-19 will leave unpredictable consequences “- The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

Despite playing the role of ‘lab mouse’, thousands of people still could not hide the joy of participating in live concerts.
It was all gathering a few hundred people but the two crowds were handled differently, according to CNN .

The first party was at Amsterdam’s Vondelpark – a green space with a stunning view in the Dutch capital. Hundreds of people celebrate the warm spring days of February together. “This gathering is illegal but we still participate. They couldn’t make us stay at home. We’re bored, ”one woman told Dutch TV. Crowds attend the Field Lab’s concert in early March. Photo: CNN. Video recorded by a local television channel in Amsterdam showed the excitement of young people present at Vondelpark. One guest in attendance stated that they were “fed up” with the epidemic prevention rules. After that, the police arrived and dispersed this crowd. The mayor decided to close all entrances to the park, except for the two gates, so that everyone could come here. The second gathering took place only a few kilometers away at the Ziggo Dome theater. Hundreds of people showed up to enjoy the songs that folk singer André Hazes, Jr. Shows. But this time, the police did not show up. The concert is approved by the Dutch government, not limited to a maximum of 30 people in the enclosed space. Audiences were tested negative for Covid-19 for no more than 48 hours prior to the concert. They also wear electronic bracelets for easy tracing. The concert is essentially part of a test backed by the Dutch government to see if the event planning industry can stand its ground amid a slow rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination. CNN . Vivian Nagelkerke (26), who went to the concert with a friend, said: “It’s like a dream where everything is allowed. I felt lightheaded to go back to the theater. Before the pandemic, I attended 3 concerts a week ”. The attendees have their temperature measured and must have a Covid-19 test paper no more than 48 hours before entering The Ziggo Dome theater. Photo: Ferdy Damman / AFP. Fun mouse experiment Eight mass gatherings took place in March as a result of months-long negotiations between the Dutch government and Field Lab – a group of researchers. They held a series of events, from dance festivals, seat concerts to soccer matches, to study the behavior of attendees, while also monitoring any possible infections. happening. “So far, the ‘lab rats’ (referring to event participants) are very happy to be involved in the study,” said Andreas Voss, professor of infection control at Radboud University, laughing. Although no exact results have been released yet, Voss said by comparing data from concert attendees to national population data, the team believes attending an event can help. strict management with the early Covid-19 test is no more risky than daily life in the Netherlands. “To date, the risk has been mostly lower than in untested cases, out of the event. We are sure to have promising results, ”he said. The Dutch Minister of Health agrees. In early March, he called the Field Lab’s initial discovery “truly encouraging”. Cheerful, happy crowd attending the concert after such a long time. Photo: Ferdy Damman / AFP. Of course, there is still a risk not only for those who have attended the events, but also to whom they subsequently come into contact with. Therefore, the organizers asked the attendees to limit their contact with anyone in the vulnerable group, and to test Covid-19 5 days after the end of the event. Field Lab reported that to date, only 5 out of 6,000 people who have attended public events they organize are positive for Covid-19. However, they are not sure if the cases were transmitted from the Field Lab event. Emily Denissen “felt flustered” to attend public events. Photo: NVCC. Emily Denissen, who celebrated her 32nd birthday at one of Field Lab’s concerts, happily recounted: “What happened that night was amazing. Everyone to relax, enjoy their best ”. Part of the story “let loose” means forgetting about the epidemic room rules for the audience. Once they have consumed alcohol, many people take off their masks and forget about social distance. However, that was not too surprising, nor was it bad. “We are not influencing them in any way,” said Professor Voss. We also do not prompt to follow the rules, because we want to know what will happen in real-life events. “It is true that during music festivals masks are removed more quickly,” he said. Meanwhile, at auditorium events, business conferences and soccer matches, more than 94% of attendees maintained wearing masks. Despite being the subject of research, Niels Fekken (21 years old) can not hide the happiness of attending a concert after more than a year at home due to the pandemic. “I can barely describe it with words. Unbelievable. From last year until now, maybe this is the first time I feel so happy, “Fekken shared with CNN .

Experts note that the confusion about airborne viral transmission has led to this simple measure being overlooked.

In the BMJ medical paper bowl, the authors, including expert Julian Tang from the University of Leicester and expert Linxey Marr from the University of Virginia Technology, indicated the likelihood of the virus spreading through inhalation at close range This is higher than through exposure to or breathing at a long distance. But airborne transmission is “only mentioned through loudspeaker in a few translation control guidelines”.

Part of the problem, experts emphasize, is that the definition of “droplet” and “airborne” is not yet clear when describing how the virus is spread,

The BMJ article states that careful measures like wearing a mask, keeping distance and reducing crowds in enclosed spaces all help prevent the spread of the virus. But experts stressed the need to add ventilation equipment because small suspended particles can remain in the air for hours and this is an important pathway of disease transmission.

Last March, the World Health Organization (WHO) also released a guide to epidemic prevention, which recommends creating better ventilation in buildings.

On the same day, French President Emmanuel Macron on April 14 announced that France would provide free psychotherapy for children and adolescents who have suffered psychological harm due to the effects of COVID-19 epidemic.

Speaking during a visit to a psychotherapy facility in the city of Reims, President Macron said France’s social security system would reimburse a total of 10 psychotherapy sessions with a specialist for children from 3 – 17 years old.

After meeting with patients and psychologists at the facility, Mr. Macron said that France is currently having a medical problem affecting children and adolescents in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cases of anxiety and other psychological problems have increased among young people to the extent that they were not seen in the first blockade last year.

Currently, France is implementing a third national blockade to prevent COVID-19 epidemic, but the measures are not as strong as the previous two waves. Schools remain open for a longer period than their European neighbors, although France has now extended the Spring break to halt the epidemic.
