As planned, on June 8, Ford Maverick officially launched the global pickup segment, the car is sold at an attractive price, from only $ 19,995 (about VND 459 million).

In terms of design, the Ford Maverick possesses a bunker and masculine exterior that is not inferior to the Ford Ranger, but the size is the smallest in the pickup family of the American automaker. Ford Maverick owns a bunker and masculine exterior. With a length of 5,072 mm and a height of 1,745 mm, this model is 282 mm shorter and 53 mm lower than the Ranger, the smallest in Ford’s pickup range. The American manufacturer is confident that the Maverick will appeal to ordinary customers looking for a practical model, even those who have never intended to buy a pickup. At the same time, the market is gradually dominated by high-rise vehicles, so a pickup with a starting price of about $20,000 like the Ford Maverick is also easy to meet the needs of customers. In terms of power, Maverick is equipped with a Hybrid system right from the lowest version, with the combination of a 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine (162 hp) with an electric motor (126 hp) to create a total capacity. 191 hp max. Along with that, kinetic energy will be transmitted to the front wheels through a CVT gearbox. In addition, Ford also offers the new pickup model the option of an EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of 2 liters, providing a maximum capacity of 250 horsepower and maximum torque of 210 Nm. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD). Despite being a small pickup, Ford Maverick still owns a 4.5-foot (about 1.37 m) long trunk, which can extend up to 6 feet (about 1.83 m) when the door is opened. Ford named this type of trunk Flexbed with a divided floor, which can be changed flexibly. In particular, the company also equips 110V and 12V sockets here, suitable for various purposes of car owners. Meanwhile, the cabin of the Ford Maverick owns an infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen, integrating Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Wifi for up to 10 devices. With FordPass Connect, customers can find their vehicle, check fuel levels, lock and unlock doors, and start or stop the engine from their phones. Inside the car also has a series of smart storage compartments, the largest of which is under the passenger’s seat. According to information from the manufacturer, the new Ford Maverick will go on sale this fall with 3 main versions: XL, XLT and Lariat. Customers can also get special First Edition versions, along with the FX-4 Off-Road package with powerful components. Thu Ha (Th)

The 75 meter high eucalyptus tree includes 165 steps to challenge Australian adventurers Many visitors describe the experience of climbing the 75-meter ‘Dave Evans Bicentennial’ ancient eucalyptus tree as intimidating. Of course, the trip is not for those who are afraid of heights. Around the tall tree, people plug 165 ‘stairs’ which are iron stakes attached to the winding tree trunk. The Dave Evans Bicentennial eucalyptus tree, located inside Warren National Park, near Pemberton, West, is Australia’s highest fire observation site. The first time people inserted iron steps into a tree trunk was in 1988, marking 200 years since the arrival of British ships in Sydney in 1788. Now, this giant tree has become an attraction for adventurous tourists who want to conquer the towering tree and enjoy the panoramic view of the green national park. Adam Scott, a TikTok user shared a video of his recent conquest of a giant tree. According to Adam Scott, the only way to go up is to step on a series of iron bars hammered into the side of a tree more than 30 years ago. Adam Scott, who owns a TikTok account with more than 28,000 followers, said: “This is definitely Australia’s scariest attraction. This thing is so sketchy, how have they been around for so many years. “. In his first conquest, Adam Scott climbed to a height of about 25 meters above the ground. There are no seat belts or any instructions. On the way to climb the tree, there will be only you and the space seems to have no end under each iron stake. “If you fall, there won’t be anything to support you,” says Adam Scott. On the TripAdvisor page, many tourists who have joined the journey share that ‘if you are a thrill-seeker, you will love this adventurous tree climbing trip’, ‘Tree climbing is a great experience but sure. Not for the faint of heart’, ‘The distance between the stakes is very large so be careful’, ‘Although the distance is very large and 75 meters high, no one has actually died while climbing a tree’… To participate in this unique experience, you need to buy a Warren National Park pass, 12 USD, or about 276 thousand VND per vehicle, at the Pemberton Visitor Center. Then, traveling by car for about 15 minutes, you will see the old Dave Evans Bicentennial tree.

For children in the countryside, tamarind fruit is a popular snack but attached to many familiar memories.
The childhood of rural children rarely had expensive snacks, yet just a few wild fruits were enough to create many memorable memories. These are bunches of intestines, fish eggs, longan … growing along the way, the children are free to pick and sip. Simple, simple, but they have a very unique flavor. Speaking of which, surely many people remember the familiar clusters of tamarind that were attached to summer afternoons when they were young.

Tamarind, also known as acacia prickly, is a plant that lives in the tropics. (Illustration) It is not known when they appeared, but the shady rows of tamarind have become a familiar image of the Vietnamese countryside. The trunk is tall, coniferous and often grows wild, without needing to be nursed or fertilized. And the most attractive thing for the children is the swaying bunches of fruit at the top. Called tamarind, but this fruit grows all the way up. (Illustration) Although the water tamarind is divided into segments like normal sour tamarind, each fruit is bent into a strange curved circle. Water tamarind when young, the skin is green, flat and relatively hard. When it reaches maturity, it expands on both sides of the fruit body to reveal the white flesh and black seeds inside. But the most attractive is when they get old and turn pink and red, making all children crave. Tamarind water when ripe turns pinkish red and bends back into a ring. (Illustration) Picking tamarind is not easy, because the trunk has many thorns, so few dare to climb it. But the most “lucky” way is to throw stones to let them fall or wait until they fall, then pick them up and enjoy. They’re used to eating, so every time the fruit is ripe, they all stand under the tree “soup tamarind”. If you want to pick tamarind, you have to poke or throw stones to make the fruit fall. (Illustration) Although the layer of rice is a bit viscous, it has a very strange sweetness. There is no need to dip anything in salt and fish sauce, just chew on the white meat, wait for the aroma to spread slowly, very pleasing to the mouth. In addition, a little bit of flesh on the outside of the shell lingers in the throat, making the children want to eat again and again. The simple taste has gone into the carefree memories of many people. (Illustration) No one can resist this delicious childhood taste. (Illustration) Currently, tamarind does not seem to appear much even in the countryside. That’s why people sometimes forget the familiar food of that time, but every time they recall the image of tamarind swaying “inviting” so provocatively that all the children have to make a fuss, it’s like childhood rushing back. Such small joys are such a dear part of rural children.

From now on, consumers can choose Ganoderma lucidum products with clear origin, peace of mind about quality when for the first time a Ganoderma product bearing the leading prestigious Daedong brand in Korea is imported. official import and distribution, through inspection by Vietnamese authorities.
Daedong Ganoderma lucidum is the result of cooperation between the famous Korean ginseng group Daedong and Imsil district in Jeollabuk-do province, which is famous for being a top-class mushroom growing land in the land of kimchi.

Daedong Ganoderma products have luxurious packaging. It is known that Daedong is a premium red ginseng brand sponsored by the Korean government, with extensive experience in the production of ginseng products, cordyceps and reishi mushrooms. Daedong’s products are popular in the domestic market and exported to dozens of countries, including Vietnam. Meanwhile, Imsil district in Jeollabuk-do province is a famous Korean reishi mushroom growing place. This place has special climatic and soil conditions suitable for this precious mushroom species, besides the people’s experience in mushroom cultivation is handed down as a long-standing tradition in the locality. In Imsil, the highland terrain is still relatively unspoiled due to the lack of industrial parks, cool climate, and natural clean water. With the participation of Daedong Corporation, many modern technologies are applied to support mushroom cultivation on the basis of preserving the maximum purity of nature. To shape products in the high-end segment, Daedong Group chooses oak tree trunks as the initial growth medium for Ganoderma lucidum. The trunks are carefully selected, are healthy, disease-free, uniform oak trees. The trees were disinfected for 48 hours with heat, then “rested” for about a week before being used as a place to inoculate reishi mushroom spores. From January to March, when the climate is most suitable, experienced Imsil farmers manually inoculate the oak tree with fungal spores. Then all are placed in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The fungal sporulation phase takes place for 70 days, the oak stems are brought to the ground, the mushroom seedlings begin the development process. From seedlings to adults that are slightly larger than a hand, Daedong Ganoderma lucidum is located in a closed farm to ensure control of environmental indicators such as temperature and humidity. Daedong Ganoderma lucidum is grown on oak tree trunks placed under the ground in the famous Imsil mushroom growing area in Korea. When the fungal spores have developed into seedlings, the oak stems are buried in the ground. Experts of Daedong Group together with Imsil mushroom farmers continue to strictly control the growth environment of mushrooms until the mushrooms are mature and ready to be harvested. The whole process of mushroom development, many modern agricultural technologies are applied but always ensure environmental friendly factors, absolutely do not use pesticides or additional artificial nutrients. When Ganoderma matures, the size of the mushroom is slightly larger than the hand, uniform in shape due to being cared for according to the traditional secret of Imsil farmers. After being harvested in the field, Ganoderma lucidum will be dried and disinfected with Daedong’s own technology for long-term preservation, before being packaged into finished products without using any preservatives. Rest assured of origin, quality The new Daedong Ganoderma lucidum product is imported and distributed in Vietnam by the importer VHP – a reputable company for more than 10 years in the field of importing and distributing Korean health products and an exclusive partner. Daedong’s rights in the Vietnamese market. Ganoderma lucidum has long been famous as a benign herb for daily use, with the effect of enhancing resistance thanks to its high content of polysaccharides. Therefore, in recent years, Korean Ganoderma lucidum is interested by Vietnamese consumers to buy a lot for use and as gifts. However, the fact that Ganoderma lucidum on the market is mostly unorthodox products, leading to the situation of counterfeit goods and poor quality products being mixed. With the goal of serving long-term consumers with high quality products, Daedong Ganoderma lucidum is officially imported, certified and quality inspected by the National Institute of Food Safety and Hygiene. Before coming to Vietnam, Daedong Ganoderma lucidum was also certified for origin and quality standards by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). “As a prestigious corporation that manufactures and trades in human health-related products in Korea, Daedong wishes to bring to Vietnamese consumers an authentic and fully tested reishi mushroom product. enough by Vietnamese and Korean authorities, helping consumers to choose with peace of mind.” , said Mr. Choi Sung Keun, Chairman of Daedong Group.

Especially in the past time, the orchid and bonsai market has been extremely active, many customers have come to the center to irradiate to mutate their plants. The irradiation process is quite quick, with the new technology Gama Cobalt irradiator, this process only takes about 1-2 minutes and is completely automatic. Immediately after, orchid seeds will be taken to the separation room to be cultured in nutrient solution for a certain time. After that, these plants were further isolated many times to select mutant morphologies different from the parent plant. Master Le Xuan Cuong, irradiation technician (Center for Radiation Technology and Biotechnology), said that the number of doses will vary depending on the sample provided by the customer such as tissue samples, branches, seedlings… “After irradiation, it will produce random mutations, beneficial or harmful, regardless of their will” – Master Cuong said. Currently, the Center’s Culture Room is storing many pseudo-crane orchid seedlings that have mutated on the stem and on the leaves. Specifically, the color of leaves and stems have turned white or purple. These are mutant forms that can be seen immediately, for flower color, you have to wait for the plant to grow and flower as usual. According to Mr. Le Van Thuc, Deputy Director of the Center for Radiation Technology and Biotechnology, for flower plants, by irradiation techniques, it is possible to select flower colors or select traits that are resistant to adverse conditions. environmental benefits such as preventing fungal and bacterial diseases on plants. “Compared to natural mutations, the probability is one in a thousand or one million, but using radioactive sources to cause mutations in plants will have a higher probability of hundreds, thousands of times,” – Mr. Thuc analyzed. Application on many plant varieties After irradiation, samples of the fake crane orchids were taken to the separation room to be cultured in nutrient solution for a certain time. Not only orchids, the Center for Radiation Technology and Biotechnology has tested irradiation to cause mutations on Forget-me-not Da Lat flowers, Torenia flowers, and Dendrobium orchids. The results have created many mutant lines in flower color and structure of stems and leaves with great differences compared to the mother plant. Through that, the Center has built up the basic processes of radiation breeding; selection of materials for irradiation, frequency of irradiation, propagation, experimental planting to screen for mutations at phenotypic level, identification of mutant lines at molecular level… According to Mr. Le Van Thuc, the Center’s orientation will continue to promote the field of plant biotechnology and plant breeding, rapid multiplication of plant varieties and conservation of valuable plant genetic resources; continue to develop radiation technology in the selection and breeding of key plant varieties, endemic varieties of Lam Dong province, focusing on selecting and creating new quality varieties on flower, fruit, ornamental and medicinal plants. The culture room of Radiation Technology and Biotechnology (Nuclear Research Institute) houses many mutant plants, which are mainly orchids. Currently, the Nuclear Research Institute has used irradiation techniques combined with In-vitro methods, applying in vitro flowering techniques to quickly select flower color mutations, shortening the selection time. filtering, reducing the cost of isolating mutant lines that previously had to be planted in the field for selection. At the same time, the Institute cooperates with many units throughout the country such as the Southern Fruit Institute, the Mekong Delta Rice Institute, the Central Highlands Agro-Forestry Research Institute, universities: Tra Vinh University, the University of Da Lat,… to handle mutant irradiation on many different crops. Mr. Do Minh Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province, said that irradiation is a tool and a technological solution for breeding that many parts of the world have implemented. However, the selection and maintenance of mutant traits is very important and requires time and experience for these plants to become a source of seeds for other production industries.

Historical traces, knowledge treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization are inscribed on the papyrus, simple but not afraid of time.
Egypt is often known as the cradle of human civilization, with great works such as pyramids, masterpieces of painting, sculpture, and unique mummification art.

However, have you ever wondered where this huge treasure of knowledge, from drawings, historical books or records of artistic quintessence, is kept? The answer is papyrus. Traces of majestic history, primitive knowledge from one of the first human civilizations recorded on papyrus, passed from generation to generation. Therefore, the papyrus has become a symbol of culture, spirituality and history of ancient Egyptian society, as well as the precious heritage of modern Egypt. Paper roll of papyrus. (Source: UK McClung Museum) Ancient, versatile The papyrus papyrus is one of the oldest known plant species known to mankind and Egypt is considered the origin of this plant. The papyrus grows in the swamps on both sides of the Nile River, relying on the sediments of the Nile to nurture and grow. The oldest recorded record of the appearance of the papyrus tree is that of the Greek historian Herodotus, in 450 BC: “The papyrus grew from the swamps, the body was fine. cut and processed into different products, the lower rhizome is eaten or sold ”. The ancient Egyptians discovered the value of papyrus in everyday life. Not only was the main material in papyrus paper production, papyrus also had many other uses in the daily life of ancient Egyptians. The lower stems and roots can be eaten raw or grilled. One can chew on the papyrus stalk, swallow the water and then spit the pulp like gum. Papyrus is also braided as a rope, fishing net, even a boat or decorative details on a boat. In households, papyrus can be used as firewood for cooking, knitting into everyday items such as bags, corks, bed sheets, carpets, curtains, slippers … In the medical field, dry papyrus ash is used to treat skin diseases (caustic, calluses …) or prevent cold sores from developing. The Papyrus habitat is wetlands along the banks of the Nile. (Source: African Plants – A Photo Guide) Witness of history In ancient Egyptian cosmology, the world was created when the first god stood on a mound emerging from the infinite darkness, indistinguishable between darkness and water. Every year, this mound will emerge from the water with the papyrus. Therefore, the papyrus is the symbol of fertility, rebirth, the germ of creation. In that sacred sense, the ancient Egyptians used papyrus as amulets, funerals, mummies or paintings in temples. Amulets made from the papyrus tree are worn around the neck, sewn on a mummy’s scarf, or placed under the mummy’s head to help the deceased feel as warm as they were alive despite having stepped foot into the afterlife. The paintings on the walls of many tombs show that papyrus was used in ceremonies or funerals. The attendees at the ceremony often carry papyrus stalks as an offering to the gods. There is an opinion that when thinking of Egypt, people immediately think of papyrus. The ancient Egyptians invented papyrus paper for so long, so long that it is impossible to determine the exact time. Much of the history of Egypt and the ancient world came to the modern world through information written on papyrus. The use of papyrus paper from the I Dynasty, 3100 BC is recorded on frescoes in the shape of a scroll, and is also considered an image of a book. So how was papyrus produced by the ancient Egyptians? First, they pulled the papyrus stalk out of the swamp, tied it in bundles and brought it to the processing plant. Then, the stalk is cut into thin slices, soaked in water for several days to soften. Finally, the slices are layered, squeezed out of water and strengthened adhesion. The papyrus is dried, which can be glued to increase length depending on the intended use. The image of the papyrus tree is used as a decorative detail on the boat. (Source: UK McClung Museum). Ancient papyrus is found in many places, but mainly in tombs. During the 1903-1920 excavation at the village of Deir al Medina (the residence of those working for tombs in the Valley of the Kings), in the city of Thebes (now Luxor) by the Italian Egyptologist. Leading Ernesto Schiaparelli, historians found 16 meters of papyrus, known as the “Book of the Dead” on the tomb of the main craftsman Kha and his wife Merit (built around 1386-1349 BC ). This is an ancient Egyptian religious document, another name is “The Book of Light” or “The Letter”, a collection of spells and spells recorded to help the soul of the dead to the next world. the other through “Underworld Gate”. The book was written by many priests over a period of 1,000 years. Originally, this book was inscribed in hieroglyphs in pyramid mausoleums and served only to the Pharaohs. However, by the New Kingdom period (1550-1352 BC), this book was copied on papyrus by priests and used for princes, officials, and the upper class. The letter will be read during the mummification process and left in the tomb of the dead. Kha and his wife Merit in front of Death Osiris sitting under a papyrus tree in the Underworld. (Source: UK McClung Museum). Wait for the day “reborn” Today, under the influence of topography, environment and the development of modern settlements on the banks of the Nile, the papyrus tree is almost extinct in Egypt, and as a result, papyrus paper making has gradually faded. one. A small village in Egypt, one of the last to retain the papyrus tradition, is called Al Qaramous (Al Sharqia province). Artist Atef Mohamed Shehata is one of the few artisans in the village who also harvests papyrus and produces papyrus paper. Papyrus seeds are planted and it will take about a year to reach harvestable maturity. After harvest, the tree will regrow in about 1-2 months. Once upon a time, the whole village was covered with papyrus tree, but up to now, the area of this tree is only about 4 hectares. At the end of the finishing process, the papyrus will be sold to other artists in the village, one of which is painter Saied Tarakhan. Finally, paintings on Papyrus paper will be sold at souvenir shops. However, the Covid-19 epidemic broke out, causing a significant decrease in the number of tourists, directly affecting the livelihoods of the villagers, who mostly depend on the harvest and sale of papyrus paintings. Tarakhan artist had to leave all of the studio’s painting staff and partially shut down the workshop. However, with the craftsmen Shehata and Tarakhan, papyrus has become a sacred part of life. They will continue to preserve the tradition of papyrus and papyrus painting for many generations to come, with the same hope that this tradition will continue to be restored, more brilliant and true to the meaning of the “rebirth” of the papyrus species. .

After 15 days of construction, Mr. Le Ngoc Tu built a small house on a longan tree, 22 m2 wide, 2.8 m from the ground.
From a young age, Le Ngoc Tu (born 1983, Hanoi) always wanted to live in a tree house. Many times he planned to start working, but because of the busy work, he has not had the opportunity to do so.

In 2020, due to the influence of the Covid-19 translation, having plenty of time to rest at home, he discussed with his wife the idea of building a dream house. Without any further hesitation, Mr. Tu sought to buy a land in the suburbs of Hanoi. On this land, the old owner left a perennial longan tree. The tree house is 22 square meters wide, 2.8 meters from the ground. Initially, he only intended to build a small house on a tree to be a play place for his children. In early December 2020, Mr. Tu officially started construction of the house. At that time, he asked some friends who are architects to design. However, at the end of the year, everyone was busy so he had to do the construction by himself and only asked them for advice. “First, I brainstormed and sketched the house on paper. I have been consulted by a few friends about the layout, construction plans, and additional bearing columns. Because I do not know the location of the distance between the branches, how do I work, fix it, “said the male host. Zing . According to Mr. Tu, the house is built mainly from pine and steel. Initially, he intended to hang the house on the tree. However, this idea is not feasible because the longan is located in the corner of the land, one side is adjacent to a neighbor’s house, the other side is next to the big road. In addition, the trunk is skewed so it cannot be deployed according to the plan above. After that, Mr. Tu built the steel column and welded the steel system above. In order to prevent the house from absorbing rainwater and preventing insects, he made 3 floors – the middle is steel, the top and bottom are wooden. In the roof, male homeowners use corrugated iron, foam, tarpaulin, palm leaves and cork trees for cladding. Regarding the auxiliary works, after calculating the usage, Mr. Tu designed the wooden bathtub. In particular, during the construction process, he did not cut any branches. The pictures inside the house are built on longan trees. “Many architects advised me to leave the tree trunk out into the hallway so as not to have to deal with the problem of rainwater entering the house. However, I still decided to put the trunk inside so that it truly means the tree house ”, he shared. To make this possible, Mr. Tu used a high-strength canvas wrapped from the roof to the tree trunk. Besides, he kept the space between the house and the tree trunk separated by young rubber and silicone glue. This helps to reduce the noise in the house when the tree is shaken by high winds or storms. When completed, the house has an area of 22 m2, 2.8 meters from the ground. Initially, Mr. Tu planned to spend about 100 million VND to build houses on trees. Due to a lot of repair work and disassembly, the house finishing costs are pushed up. However, he still feels very happy and satisfied with the results. “I have no intention of using this house for business. This will be the place for the whole family to have fun, enjoy the life and fresh air on the weekends ”.

A giant smiley face from green trees appeared on the hillside Drivers along Oregon Road 18 have the opportunity to admire the unique scenery with giant smiling faces looking back at them from the green-covered hillside. Located on Oregon Road 18, between Willamina and Grand Ronde, the smiley face on the hillside appears every fall, when the color of the leaves and the trunk changes. The face is about 9.1 meters in diameter, consisting of two different conifers, one that changes color in the fall and the other that persists all year round. The famous landscape on the hillside of Oregon soon put it on the list of interesting places that many people want to visit. Close-up of giant smiley face from green trees in Oregon hillside, USA The story of the smiling face in Oregon dates back to 2011 when the company Hampton Lumber decided to create designs out of trees during a reforestation campaign. They used Douglas Fir, a gymnosperm in the pine family, for the eyes and mouth of the entire face. Unlike most conifers, pine trees deciduous and turn yellow in the fall. “The idea of a smiling face started with Hampton Lumber from our former lumber manager Dennis Creel. When we harvested we knew that the area was well-positioned,” said Kristin, a Hampton Lumber spokesman. advantage, the observer can easily see from the highway. So, Dennis Creel came up with the idea of doing something interesting. It takes about a week to complete from planning and planting. ‘ Over time, the round face on the Oregon hill lost some corners. However, experts estimate, the smiley face scene remains for at least another decade. For now, smiling faces make locals happier when they really need a reason to smile. “The atmosphere is quite dull in the area. The parks have gradually disappeared. Drivers who have a chance to see a smiley face on a hillside while driving,” said one local woman. Me too, today I am happier to see a smiling face. Indeed, it has lit up the whole area. ” This cute smiling face is just one of the coolest designs created out of trees over the years.

By the 1980s, the Ranger was no longer hiding the myths of the same company, but gradually shaped and known as an independent pickup product. In the following years, the Ranger became more and more popular and gradually asserted its position in the mid-size pickup segment with the ability to challenge all limits off-road. In particular, the Ranger Raptor version has set new standards and led strong products for the Ford family’s adventurous car owners. Similar to the unbeaten F-150 series, the “Built Ford Tough” foundation philosophy is the Ranger’s DNA. From the steel body design to the solid chassis system made of reinforced steel, to a variety of flexible tank options. It is the “bold American” features that make up the indomitable Ranger, possessing an impressive load of up to 1,425 kg and the ability to wade in depth championships up to 850 mm. Specifically, the Ranger’s tank can hold the equivalent of 300 million grains of sand or 2 cows without towing a trailer. . In case the driver needs more capacity to carry, the Ranger possesses a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons, enough to pull at least 8 horses or 10 water motorcycles with powerful assistance from the electronic stability system and Ford trailer control. To be a reliable companion, the Ranger has undergone a series of complex testing programs to ensure the durability of the engine as well as the entire vehicle. From testing in extreme hot / cold environments to testing in thin air. Ranger is designed with outstanding durability to reduce risks and ensure comfortable journeys even after years of operation. In the Vietnamese market, Ford Ranger offers many different diesel engine and gearbox options. In which the most advanced version Wildtrak 4×4 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged engine producing 213 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Combined with an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission and deep water wading capabilities, the Ranger can take owners wherever they want. Ford Ranger Raptor: Setting new standards Developed for owners who love to conquer the terrain and love speed – Ford Ranger Raptor is a high-performance car (Ford Performance) with outstanding performance.

After 2 years of trial planting showed that it has not adapted to the climatic conditions of Hanoi, the maple trees on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung streets are about to be replaced by a more suitable greenery system. This is a necessary and necessary replacement to be implemented soon in order to ensure the synchronous greenery system, maintain the urban landscape on the route of the capital.

After 2 years of trial planting, the red leaf maple trees planted on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung routes grew poorly or died dry due to not suitable for Hanoi’s climate.

As reported, Hanoi City People’s Committee Office has just issued Document No. 2788 / VP-DT (dated 2-4-2021) announcing the direction of Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Duong Duc Tuan on the replacement plan. The maple tree position is tested on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung street.

According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Construction Department Nguyen The Cong, 262 maple trees were tested from 2018 on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung streets, donated to the city by Tan Dai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company. After 2 years, it initially showed that the tree was not adapted to the climatic conditions of Hanoi. 45 trees died, 217 trees lived but poor growth and development. After a while, leaves are wilted, branches and branches are dry and often pests and diseases, affecting the street landscape. In order to ensure the landscape, synchronize the system of green trees, meet the aesthetic and urban beauty of the road, the Department has proposed the City People’s Committee to switch the maple tree and plant it to replace it with a small leaf almond tree.

The planting of new tree systems will be carried out in April 2021 and completed before the holidays April 30 and May 1, 2021.

Later, the tree species is easily confused with red leaf maple

Facing the fact that the red leaf maple goods on the Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung route die or grow poorly due to the lack of adaptability to the climate conditions of Hanoi … some people wonder why the maple is grown at the Diplomatic Corps (Xuan Tao, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi) is green again, in winter, trees turn red leaves beautifully?

Many people mistakenly think that the following trees after planting in the Diplomatic Corps are red-leaf maple because of their maple leaf shape and the ability to turn red in winter.

Answering the above question, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Van Ha, Director of the Institute of Landscape Architecture and Urban Greenery, Forestry University affirmed that the crops grown in the Diplomatic Corps area are not red-leaf maple, but tree follows. This native species of Vietnam is being planted widely, from North to South because it has good growth and development, especially in urban areas. In Hue, the latter has been planted for a long time, many trees with a diameter of 60-70cm.

In Hanoi, in addition to the Diplomatic Corps, the latter is also grown in the West Lake, the area of the Korean Embassy, the regulating lake of the Exchange City urban area … The following trees are growing green. well, trunk diameter 20-30 cm, about 6-7 m high.

“The posterior leaves are shaped quite like maple leaves. In winter, they change from green to dark yellow and red, so many people easily confuse them. However, just based on the leaf lobe it is possible to distinguish 2 species. Specifically, the posterior leaves split into 3 lobes and the maple leaf has 5-6 lobes. In addition, the maple tree has no fruit, while the posterior fruit has many soft, pointed spines ”, Assoc. Analysis by Dr. Dang Van Ha.

However, according to experts, just based on the leaf and fruit lobes can easily distinguish these two plants.

According to Mr. Ha, later it can be planted well in urban areas, parks, sidewalks, medians … Trees not only have the ability to grow well, but create beautiful landscapes thanks to the characteristic turning the color of leaves to red. . Young shoots that sprout up right after the leaves fall, are also fancy pink. According to the Institute’s observations for many years, plants do not have pests and diseases affecting humans. After about 50-60 years of growth, the tree has the phenomenon of aging, so it should be noted that dry branches are pruned.

Small leaf wing, why is preferred?

According to both plans to replace the red leaf maple row on the Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung route, small leaves are selected. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Maintenance of Urban Technical Infrastructure (Department of Construction of Hanoi), said that the small leaf eagle has been experimentally planted for a long time and brings beautiful landscapes on many streets in the city. Hanoi like Dao Tan, Nguyen Khanh Toan, Kim Ma … Through monitoring, the tree grows and develops well and stably. In particular, this plant has very few pests and diseases, is less prone to breakage during storms, and does not take care of and pruning.

Small leaf balm has been planted for a long time and has adapted well, creating a beautiful landscape for Hanoi.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Van Ha, small leaf eagle, also known as Taiwanese eagle, is a suitable crop in urban areas as well as in many other places. Tree has the advantage of strong root system, less breakage, flexible stem and branches.

“Small leaf balm was imported abroad into our country about 20 years ago, and grown in many provinces throughout the country, including Hanoi. Plants are easy to propagate, grow well, do not pick up soil, and can be grown both in dry places and high water levels. Trees give good shade in the summer. In the southern provinces, in the dry season, the tree often loses its leaves. However, in the North, the tree also loses its leaves, but only for a short time and produces young leaves immediately. Because the small leaf almond root has “floating” properties, it should be considered when planting in narrow streets, which do not affect the quality of the pavement “, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Van Ha said.

For the people of Hanoi, the rows of small green-leafed almond trees planted for many years have become familiar and captured the hearts of many people by the beautiful landscape trees. The trunk grows straight, branches grow horizontally or form to create circular, interwoven canopy, creating shade. The leaf is shiny green and gradually darkens over time, the deciduous time is very short.

There are many suitable advantages that help the small leaf eagle to be selected as a priority for urban crops.

The trial planting of new species of trees in Hanoi is completely normal in order to supplement and enrich the urban greenery system, which plays a very important role in improving and improving the quality of life for the people. However, before trials showed that new species of trees have not been adapted, the replacement with more suitable species is necessary so that the capital city always maintains green, fresh and urban beauty.

The red-leaf maple trees, after more than 2 years of planting on the Nguyen Chi Thanh and Tran Duy Hung roads, which do not bring positive results will be replaced with small almond trees. This is necessary to change the beauty of this route.

Rows of withered red maple leaves on the streets of Nguyen Chi Thanh and Tran Duy Hung.

According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, in 2018, 262 maple trees were tested from the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung streets. In which, Nguyen Chi Thanh line planted 119 trees, Tran Duy Hung line planted 143 trees with the aim of changing the face of the capital. After 2 years, initially showed that the tree was not adapted to the climatic conditions of Hanoi, 45 trees died, 217 trees were alive but poor growth and development. After a while, leaves are wilted, branches and branches are dry and susceptible to diseases.

In this situation, Hanoi City People’s Committee has recently approved the Department of Construction’s proposal to replace the row of red-leaf maple trees on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung streets with small almond trees, body diameter 10 – 15cm; Top height is 6 – 8m. The replacement of the new tree system on the median line Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung will be implemented in April 2021 and completed before the holidays April 30 and May 1, 2021.

According to experts, the small leaf almond tree has been planted by Hanoi City on the roads such as Nguyen Luong Bang, Tay Son, Xa Dan, Kim Ma … After a period of planting, the small leaf almond tree grows stably and appropriately. with urban space. This plant is less susceptible to pests and diseases, less defoliation, easy to grow, and does not take much care. The stalk is straight, the eagle leaves are green, and the canopy is wide. Trees create shade for the summer and bring a green landscape to the capital.

Meanwhile, the red leaf maple tree is not suitable for planting in Hanoi, the tree is only suitable for temperate climate conditions, cold weather while our country is a tropical climate, hot weather, heavy rain. When implementing the project of planting red-leaf maple trees, it was too hasty, not to plant 1-2 trees first but planted right on the median strip of Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung route in large numbers. Therefore, the situation of dead trees and poor development has affected the landscape of the road as the gateway to the city heavily.

“In the old days, everyone expected that the red maple tree orchard would make the Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung route the most beautiful route in Hanoi. But the maple tree could not withstand the extreme weather and kept dying and withering gradually. People like me find that the city just grows plants that can survive in climatic conditions such as small leaf almond tree or sesame buds, “said Linh.

The replacement of red maple trees on Nguyen Chi Thanh – Tran Duy Hung street is suitable and necessary to restore the urban beauty of these two routes. New tree planting projects should be implemented synchronously, but the project should be conducted carefully and in no hurry to ensure the best results.

The small leaf almond tree is a suitable tree for growing in urban spaces.

The green tree company as well as related parties need to pre-test the new tree thoroughly before planting it on main roads of the capital so as not to happen the situation of dead trees and poor growth. At the same time, attention should be paid to choosing suitable urban greenery that can withstand the tropical climate to develop and grow well.

The Treehotel (Lulea, Sweden)

The Treehotel is a unique five design hotel, one of which has been created in collaboration with leading Swedish architects. Cozy “Bird’s Nest” shape. “A flying object” is similar to the flying saucer in science fiction movies located between the tree trunk. Each interior room is also different.

Volume 4 × 4 × 4 m, the cube is covered with a mirror that reflects the surroundings from the covered natural landscapes. To restrict the birds from entering this particular room, the designers came up with the idea of combining optics and aesthetics. They walled walls with infrared film to humans that look invisible but are easily visible to birds, avoiding them flying into the structure. Elegant interior made from plywood and birch. An aluminum base framed the trunk, and the glass windows offer stunning panoramic views.

Luxurious interior design with large bed, bathroom, living room, terrace and bedroom offers an unforgettable experience. Light and curtains, bed linen, table linen … are custom designed. The general feature of this hotel interior design is the use of wooden furniture, wooden flooring, walls, ceilings, wooden furniture … An elegant, friendly design, in harmony with the outside landscape. With glass windows creating an open space to have a panoramic view of the forest.

Hapuku Hostel and Tree House (Kaikoura, New Zealand)

Hapuku Lodge + Tree House is located at the foot of the Kaikoura Seaward Mountains, with the Kaikoura coast and the famous Mangamaunu Bay just 1 kilometer to the east. Hapuku Lodge + Tree House is a luxurious accommodation on the rugged Kaikoura coastline. From here you can explore the majestic ocean landscape of Kaikoura.

Architect Tony Wilson came up with the idea for Hapuku Lodge. The rooms are built from recycled wood, have warm brick floors, cast boards and showers, and the products and utensils here are always environmentally conscious like the fact that food and furniture are derived from Local farmers and vendors. This work feels warm with private soaking tubs, fireplaces and furniture made by the hotel itself.

Tree restaurant works in Okinawa, Japan

Naha Harbor restaurant in Okinawa Japan has a unique shape, no different from the houses in fairy tales. The restaurant is located on the old Gajumaru tree with massive canopies stretching out to the sides to help support the entire restaurant.

The restaurant is located 6 meters from the ground and is inspired by Ghilbi’s animated films. The restaurant space is designed to be open to make the most of the natural light and cool wind of the sea of Okinawa. The cost of building the restaurant is quite large because the entire tree trunk has to be built. Guests can slowly climb the spiral staircase designed on the side of the restaurant or want to save time and effort, guests can take the elevator hidden in the tree trunk.

The open space and the location facing the sea help the restaurant receive the full cold wind of Okinawa. The space inside is elegantly designed. Table arrangements create privacy and comfort for customers.

The Japanese honey apple (also known as the sun apple) is one of the most expensive apple varieties in the world. In Vietnam, Japanese honey apples are sold for up to 1.5 – 2 million VND / kg.

In the country of the rising sun, honey apples are grown entirely according to organic technology, meticulously from care to collection.

Japanese honey apples are grown mainly in the Aomori region, which is considered the capital of delicious apples.

Winter is the time when growers clean the trunk of the apple tree, cutting dry branches for the best growth.

Spring comes, when the apples begin to bloom, it is time for growers to add nutrients to the plants. The grower will carefully remove the flower clusters on the branches so as not to disturb the rest of the flower.

For the most effective natural pollination, they even kept bees in the apple orchard.

In the summer, apples start to bear fruit. Each branch usually has 5-6 apples.

At this point, the grower continues the pruning, leaving only one fruit on the branch. This helps the tree concentrate nutrients, the apple will be sweeter.

Next fall, the whole orchard of red and ripe apples looks good.

They test each apple on the tree for appearance standards and then harvest.
