According to some sources, Johannesburg, South Africa is home to the largest man-made forest in the world. There are at least 49 species of purple phoenix, most of them native to South America and the Caribbean basin. In October, when visitors come to South Africa, they will witness millions of romantic purple flowers blooming. Purple and blue will create a romantic and poetic path for couples. https://dulich.petrotimes.vn/ Tunnel of love in Ukraine https://dulich.petrotimes.vn/ The Love Tunnel in Ukraine is actually a two-mile section of railway that serves a private woodworking factory near Klevan, a small city located in western Ukraine. Legend has it that couples go through this romantic tunnel to grant a wish. If their love is strong and pure enough, wishes will come true. https://dulich.petrotimes.vn/ During the warm months of the year, the trees are planted side by side forming a fairy green tunnel along the one kilometer railway stretch. Rosewood is known to reduce the need for air conditioning by up to 30%. These days, besides the fight against the epidemic, the people of the city are also very interested in one more thing, namely…

– Where? – Around Bach Dang wharf park in District 1, people are very interested in… – Move, cut down many trees to improve the park, right Tu? – That’s it! People are worried that they will lose the already scarce green space in the heart of the city. – A very legitimate concern! – I’m not a resident nearby, but I’m sorry. Because it is home to hundreds of old, shady trees, many locals and tourists often go there to stroll, play and exercise. – You do not have to advertise, Mr. Ba has also taken the whole family there many times to walk and relax. – So… – So what? – For many people, it is not only a green space but also a… – Commemorative sky! – Baba is so right! So they are very regretful and… – Wish the city had another more suitable option while still retaining the green area? – Exactly! – So according to you, in order to retain the green area, what kind of park renovation must be done? – Harmony between old and new! – What do you mean? – As a resident has suggested, the park should be designed based on the location of available trees, not cut down or relocated. It’s kind of “measure and make shoes”. It is taking the measurement of the foot to make shoes to fit, not making shoes and then cutting feet to fit. – It can be any type of genus, as long as the old trees are not cut down or removed. – Actually, it’s not a new invention that many other places have made. Especially in… – Where, Mr. Ba? – In high-class resorts, people respect and preserve each stone and tree stump available in nature and when designing houses and roads, choose accordingly. Therefore, creating harmony with nature and being very different, no other place is the same! – Maybe the city should move in that direction and… just give it a try!

Every year at this time, the brown raindrops keep pouring down the street, making Saigon space become unusually romantic.
Each city and land has its own unique tree species. For Saigon people, brown rice is an indispensable gift when May comes. This month is both sunny and windy, spinning the brown flowers like pinwheels. The brown rain because of that became the memory of many Saigon people.

The palm tree is one of the most widely known plants in the genus Diu. Possessing a wide canopy, the tree is planted a lot in urban areas as shade trees. In Vietnam, the tree is most commonly grown in Saigon. Around November, December every year, the chrysanthemum flowers begin to sprout and by the end of April and early May, the fruits turn brown and fall all over the streets. Brown chrysanthemum flowers in Saigon. The brown flowers, when thrown high to fall on their own, will be like a pinwheel rain pouring down the road. It is a common game of Saigon children, which everyone loves, because it is like a bride when entering the ceremony.

Today is Sunday, Mr. Tam’s family eats dessert after lunch. Thai jackfruit, rambutan, mango, all kinds are sweet.

Huy picked up jackfruit seeds, rambutan seeds, and mango seeds, put them in a plastic bag, and went to the corner of the yard. Contrary to popular belief, it did not put it in the trash, but carefully tied the bag and put it close to the lemon tree, where there was shade and moisture from the faucet the whole family used to wash hands and feet when coming home from work. – Why did you leave it without putting it in the trash? – Yes. Leave it there, I’ll take it later. Later, when the whole family took a nap, Huy took the book out and laid it on a cloth hammock tied under the acorn tree in the corner of the yard, a memento of the time when he was in the army. The afternoon was strangely quiet, only occasionally heard the sound of the wind blowing the flags planted on the side of the road. Huy turned each page of the book, reading attentively. When his father’s car took the whole family to the supermarket to buy things, Huy looked out of the window. – Daddy! Stop the car! – Stop the car for what? How are you?” – Dad, just stop for me! Mr. Tam pulled the car over to the side of the road. Huy put his hands on his stomach and stooped down. It says quickly: – I’m waiting for you! I go to the other side! Looking in the direction it pointed, Mr. Tam was a bit bewildered. – You go to the forest? What are you doing? – No… He pulled his hand close to his body, crossed the road and came to the place where the B40 wire fence circled around the city parkland. Huy heard from his father that this forest has existed since the city was founded. The area of a few dozen hectares of land with some remaining forest trees is located in the center of the city. Ba Huy is an employee of the Provincial Urban Environment Company and together with other uncles and aunts protect and take care of this forest. Since Huy went to kindergarten, every time he went to school, his father drove him here. Coming from the sunny road, people will feel cool because the sunlight has to filter through the canopy of large mother-of-pearl rows by the roadside. At noon, the sun was so intense that the dark green leaves were shining as if they were about to fall. But under that tree, the air is still cool, and people’s eyes are also less dazzling. Ba Huy and the aunts and uncles in the team still often water the trees, fertilize and guard the forest. As a result, plants grow very quickly. Once, Huy asked to follow his father to wade into the forest, but his mother did not allow him to follow him because he was afraid that the grass would cause itching and “make him tripped up”. Only at the beginning of last year, the city began to rebuild the gate and renovate the amusement park, preparing it for visitors. When he passed by, Huy liked that his father walked slowly so that he could see the green trees. It kept imagining that in that forest there would be squirrels, rabbits… living. Then maybe in it there will be a murmuring stream with schools of fish swimming around. Huy collected the bag in his hand and climbed through the fence of B40 net. It looked around. Here it is. Between the two rows of trees, there is a trench in the ground that people make an incision. Probably to sprinkle the plants with compost. He picked up a dry branch, poked a few small holes, and put the seeds in the bag. Hearing the car horn, he threw the remaining seeds into the trench, picked up some hay, and then crawled through the fence to get out. – You want to be a planter? Dad asked with a funny voice. It was a bit unexpected. How do you know it buried tree seeds? – Mom told dad. Huy’s mother spoke confidently when she met his questioning eyes. – When I saw you holding a bag of seeds, I guessed it. – Yes. He spoke softly and looked at his mother with grateful eyes. Whenever he did something wrong, his mother would gently remind him. Dad is always strict. It’s so tight that sometimes it’s confused not knowing if I did what my father said or not. Also, my father used to make fun of it. Therefore, he did not dare to tell his father about the fact that he buried the bag of tree nuts in the forest. This idea came to him with a group of uncles and aunts in the project of rural book chemistry, and then “Journey across Vietnam books and trees” to donate to the library a secondary school in a remote district. The leader of the group (heard to be a very good doctor) said that every time you eat a fruit, you should throw the seeds into the fields along the stream, along the hill, along the road to the field… Who knows, tomorrow will grow a tree and the forest will grow. flourished from there. His words reminded him of the woods where his father worked. Once during extracurricular time, the teacher in charge showed a video of the city seen from above. Between the rows of high-rise buildings is a beautiful green forest. So it kept smoldering in my head, I would collect tree seeds to plant in it. It dreamed that one day the tree that grew from the seed it sowed would grow. It will go there to visit and take pictures for souvenir. – Oh, so cool! A small voice right next to my ear. It awakens. – Did you just plant seeds? Why not let me plant together! What are you laughing at? Still smiling, he put his arm around her shoulder and gently: – Yeah, I planted the seeds. Tomorrow, the forest will add more trees for more shade. Next time you let Ut plant together. – Enjoy, like! Then a few days later I came to see how the seeds grow, Mr. Hai hen! Remember to take us in, Dad! – Yeah! His father laughed and said. Mother put her arm around the shoulders of the two brothers. Dad glanced at his mother. The two looked at each other with sparkling eyes. His father turned on the music player button. “Forest! I’m back …” – the clear, cheerful melodies softly sounded… . Bich Thiem’s short story

Mango is the main fruit tree in our country, having both economic value and shady landscape value. The demand for this plant is still great.
Here, I would like to introduce farmers to mango grafting techniques for your reference.

Making a rootstock nursery: Choose sandy soil, favorable irrigation. Plow and smooth the land. Clear weeds, combine into beds 1m wide, 20cm high, furrows 25-30cm wide. Seeds are obtained from local varieties of mangoes, preferably with the seeds. Remove the outer bark and peel off the seed coat. Sow each seed in turn on the bed surface 2-3cm apart, then dredge the soil in the trench to cover the seeds, about 3cm thick. Finally, make the canopy of the canopy to cover the sun and rain for each nursery bed and water it regularly to keep it moist. About 20-30 days later, depending on the weather, the seeds germinate and remove the plastic net covering the bed. When the tree is about 20cm tall, the buds on the top turn green, proceed to the throne immediately (uproot each plant and plant it in the potting medium). Mango is a multi-embryonic tree, 1 seed is sown for 3-5 seedlings. So it is necessary to take the throne in order, old, hard, strong trees take the throne first, young, weak and soft trees take the throne later. Note: As soon as the tree’s buds have just turned green (old locs), don’t let the tree grow a second time to take the throne. Pull the plant onto the pot gently, avoiding breaking the roots. Peeled seeds can be purchased from specialized mango seed establishments in the South, to sow seeds for the rapid multiplication of large numbers of seedlings. Newly born mango orchard. Photo: H. Tien. Electing a rootstock tree: Choose a 12 x 14 black poly bag with a drainage hole at the bottom. The potting medium consists of small soil, mixed with micro-organic fertilizer, quantitative, 1m3 of soil + 120-150kg of microbial organic fertilizer. Close the growing medium 2cm from the mouth of the pot, gently pluck each rootstock planted in the middle of the pot, then cover the pot with soil to cover the roots, then arrange each pot next to each other on a high, drained bed. Fertilize, water to keep moisture and prevent pests for the nursery, until the tree is about 1m tall, then proceed to transplant. Mango seed garden and vegetative sowing beds for grafting. Photo: H.Tien. Choose a hybrid: Depending on market demand or seed production contract with partners, to conduct grafting from Australian, Thai, 4-season or Yen Chau mango varieties, etc. The mother plant is free from pests and diseases, with good fruit and good quality. And only use grafted eyes on branches that grow across the canopy downwards, do not take branches, branches, and branches that grow loosely to water the canopy. Seedlings are collected, need to be cut into segments/sections with 3-4 leaf nodes/sleeping eyes. And also take only the branches of the same color as the cake. Do not take branches that are too old. It is best to take the old bud, after grafting, the seed will sprout quickly. Note: After the cuttings are cut, they need to be tied into bundles, with the roots and tops in the same direction, then wrapped in a damp cotton cloth, stored in a cool place, to gradually graft in 1-2 days. Mango trees after grafting. Photo: H.Tien. Joint technique: It is best to apply the technique of grafting branches. The season to conduct, should start from February-March or July-November of the lunar calendar. 25-30 days before transplanting, it is necessary to increase fertilizing for healthy, resinous and well-functioning rootstocks, increasing the compatibility between the grafted eyes and the rootstock. How to combine: On the rootstock, cut off the top to the point where the stem has a cake color (about 40cm long), but need to leave some leaves for photosynthesis. After using a specialized knife to cut the bevel from the root up, open a grafted mouth with a length of 2.5-3.0cm, a wide cutting angle of 25-30 degrees. On the base of the seedling, also cut open a similar graft, but in the opposite direction and the angle of the cut is 65-60 degrees wide. Apply the grafts of the grafted branch and the rootstock to each other, both stretch and combine the twisted nylon strip like a rope and wrap 5-6 times tightly around the graft, finally flatten the grafted nylon strip. , cover the entire stem and graft, so that rain and air do not penetrate inside. After transplanting about 20-30 days depending on the season, the seed eyes will sprout. Care of seedlings after grafting: About 2 months after grafting, the sprouts are 15-25 long, the buds have turned green, can be released from the garden. During this time, it is necessary to water enough moisture, fertilize NPK balance, thoroughly remove the wild sprouts that grow outside the graft. Timely monitoring and control of some pests and diseases such as anthracnose, leaf spot, mango planthopper.

When choosing the West to build a house, homeowners need to have calculations in design and construction to bring a cool living space.
Most house builders prefer to choose the South or Southeast direction to open the main door because this direction is good feng shui. This is also the direction of sunrise, the house will receive daylight but still be cool and ventilated.

While the West facing house has many disadvantages because it is the direction of the setting sun, the afternoon will absorb a very high amount of heat. Therefore, the west facing house is usually very hot. However, there is still a way for the West facing house to overcome this shortcoming. Architect Bui The Long (CTA | Creative Architects) said that there are two notes for building a west-facing house, including space layout and sunlit surface design. For the west-facing space, the functional spaces that can be arranged are spaces that are rarely used, with hollow nature such as stairs, skylights, corridors, warehouses, toilets, gardens… to create separation from the main use spaces. T-house project (CTA | Creative Architects) with a west-facing facade, a solution of covering walls combined with ventilation, light and side corridors to reduce heat. For the surface of the building directly exposed to the sun, there are many ways to solve it. For example, using insulating materials such as planting trees or using blue systems to block the sun, create shade, cast shadows on the surface of the wall, reduce heat absorption, etc. Parallel to that is the problem of natural ventilation. The surface of the wall needs to be well shaded from the sun but still has to be ventilated, creating air convection, quickly cooling the inside of the building. The hot air rises up, but it will hang around in the building causing heat if there is no way to escape. Therefore, it is necessary to design ventilation boxes and slots to create convection and air circulation in the house. In summary, the overall solutions of space arrangement, shading, shading and ventilation will solve the disadvantages of west-facing buildings. Homeowners need to combine many solutions, not a single element.

Singapore currently revolves around projects to turn the Lion Island into a city in the midst of nature.
Although it is already one of the greenest cities in the world, Singapore does not accept resting on its laurels. With challenges such as climate change, more extreme weather conditions and increasing urbanization, the island government is determined to build a nation where the next generation can enjoy a quality living environment. quality than the previous generation.

Singapore Green Plan 2030 is the latest plan with the cooperation and efforts of 05 ministries (Ministry of Education, Ministry of National Development, Ministry of Natural Resources and Sustainability, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Transport) to advance to a greener and more sustainable Singapore, while offering more business opportunities and creating more jobs. A City Between Nature, Sustainable Living, Renewable Energy, A Green Economy and a Resilient Future By 2026, Singapore will build 200 hectares of new parks, which are about 8 times the total area of My Dinh Stadium. By 2035, Singapore will have an additional 1,000 hectares of green space. At the same time, Quoc Dao will plant 1 million more trees with the ability to filter an additional 78,000 tons of CO2 for a clean air and plenty of shade. These are some of the key goals of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. Singaporeans and future visitors can expect more nature-based recreational activities, such as hiking, bird watching at the upcoming Nature Parks: Rifle Range, Mandai Mangrove, Khatib Bongsu … Natural parks offer visitors an immersive experience in nature, and also act as green buffers to reduce visitor pressure on nature reserves. Roads in the industrial park will be dense with native trees and plants in multi-layered structures, mimicking those in tropical rainforest. This will make the shady routes wider, cooler and more comfortable for pedestrians. By 2030, the bicycle routes in Singapore will be widened from 460km to 1,329 km. At the same time, the Park Connector Network will be expanded from the current 340km to 500km by 2030 so that tourists and Singaporeans have maximum access to nature. This network will include the Round Island Route, the Rail Corridor and the Coast to Coast trail. Accordingly, all apartments will be within a 10-minute walk from the park. Park Royal Hotel on Pickering in Singapore is designed as a hotel in the middle of a nature garden (Photo courtesy of Trivago) Another prominent target is that 80% of tall buildings will be green. Park Royal on Pickering Hotel’s landscape in Singapore is designed to self-maintain and minimize resource use such as: rainwater collected from the upper floors will irrigate the lower levels of the trees through power without running pumps, while rooftop photovoltaic systems can power the lighting system, in hopes of creating the world’s first energy-free sky garden . In addition, when coming to Singapore, visitors can not help but see the magnificent and magnificent Marina Bay Sands when viewed from afar. This is the first MICE facility in Southeast Asia to achieve ISO 20121 Sustainable Event Management System certification and is one of the largest buildings in Singapore to be awarded Green certification by Construction and Construction Authority (BCA). Mark Platinum, is committed to long-term environmental protection. Schools are also committed to contributing to this green 2030 plan with the goal of reducing carbon use by two-thirds. Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Minister of Transport, said: “We are the only country in the world to stop the increase in the number of transport vehicles. And we are also one of the few countries that has taken advantage of the water cycle and reused the last drop. ” Hopefully in the near future, when tourists return to Singapore, they will be more surprised and interested in a modern, modern country that is green, clean and friendly with the environment.

Ha Long City has two mango-growing roads on the sidewalk: 10-lane road and Doan Doan road area.

Mangoes are grown to create shade all year round, less defoliation, thus saving labor. Along 5km of 10-lane road, hundreds of mango trees are planted, each tree is about 6m high. Due to favorable weather, the mango trees here bear fruit and wrongly bear fruit. Hundreds of mango trees are planted along the two sides of the 10-lane road, the gateway to Ha Long City In the evening, many young people hold a long tree attached to a hook to chop mangoes, and even bring a ladder to climb the tree. Although everyone is racing, the number of mangoes here is still a lot. “This is the first time I have seen mango trees planted along the road, fruit trees look fun for passersby feel like visiting gardens in the West”, Mr. Hoang Ba Nam (32 years old, Ha Long City) said. know. Each tree is about 6m high and planted at 5m intervals All mango trees planted in Ha Long City are under the management and care of Quang Ninh Park Greenery Joint Stock Company. Explaining the planting of mango in some roads, Director of Quang Ninh Park Greenery Joint Stock Company Vu Tuan Anh said that mango trees are in the group of urban shade trees, with an average unit price. Fruit-bearing mango trees are planted in Doan Doan area. The weather is favorable, so every tree bears fruit Moreover, the mango tree performance is better than others because of its wide canopy, less deciduousness and good greenness all year round, in line with the green Ha Long criterion. “There are also many countries planting mango trees along the road, we do not harvest fruit so everyone is comfortable, only it is advised not to break branches.
Indoor plants bring a lot of benefits, both providing oxygen, absorbing carbonic for cool fresh air, and bringing the element of water room that brings luck and health to the family. However, many people still wonder what tree to choose in the house to suit the house area. Below, architect Bui The Long CTA | Creative Architects will share the secrets of choosing indoor plants in the most complete and detailed way. Big crops Larger trees are large-sized perennials with shade and landscape effects. For these types of plants, it is necessary to note that the planting position such as the planting spot must have enough area, light for the growth of the pot to not affect the foundation, house structure. Therefore, the open-floor space, the courtyard or front and back yard must be large enough. The minimum area for planting pots is about 2 mx 2 m to ensure good growth and natural light to plant these big trees. Large trees need to be planted in a well-lit area and have an area to grow plants without affecting the foundation. Usually, architects design to incorporate large plants under the indoor floor space. Currently, the popular varieties are star fruit, Taiwanese eagle, peach blossom or sesame buds … These plants are relatively easy to grow indoors, easy to live, grow well, do not require much fertilization or lighting time. large and easy to find on the market. However, when planting, it is still necessary to professional green tree construction teams to properly treat the substrate, drain water as well as the roots to ensure the survival rate of the tree as well as not affect the longevity and structure of the building. . Shrubs Shrubs are herbaceous plants, about 1.2 to 1.5 m in height.
