In recent days, Ta Ma stream in Binh Dinh province has become an attractive destination, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to see the blooming forest flowers. However, this is also the time when the authorities and local people have a headache with tourists littering indiscriminately.
About 7 km from the center of Vinh Thanh mountainous district of Binh Binh Dinh province, Ha Ri village in Canh Hiep commune is peaceful and poetic with mainly Ba Na people living.

The blooming forest flowers along the Ta Ma stream attracted many tourists to visit Recently, hundreds of ancient forest sites that naturally grow beside Ta Ma stream more than 1 km long flowing through Ha Ri village suddenly bloom with bunches of yellow, orange and red flowers covering the canopy, creating a frame. beautiful scene. Thanks to that, the peaceful village has become unusually bustling when there are thousands to tens of thousands of tourists every day flocking to see the flowers of the forest. Many groups of tourists come to Ta Ma stream to visit, organize meals and litter indiscriminately In order to ensure the environmental sanitation for this emerging tourist destination, the local government has put up many warning signs with the contents: “No littering”, “Say no to littering indiscriminately”, “Do not throw garbage public places “… along Ta Ma stream. However, after each day when tourists leave, the Ta Ma stream area is littered with domestic waste, such as plastic bags, plastic bottles, food containers, beer cans, soft drink cans … Not only organizing food, many groups of tourists also group the kitchen and grill food, making Ta Ma stream area potentially more at risk of forest fire. Not only that, many groups of tourists also group the kitchen, grill food near the trees of the forest and other ancient trees. Fire from the grill has burned many stems, flowers and leaves, seriously affecting the environmental landscape around the Ta Ma stream and potentially many forest fires. Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang, Chairman of Vinh Hiep Commune People’s Committee, said that the current number of tourists visiting Ta Ma stream is too crowded, with the peak on weekends up to tens of thousands of people. Therefore, the local government has encountered many difficulties in maintaining security and order, protecting the natural environment. The people and youth union members of Vinh Hiep commune often have to clean up garbage caused by tourists indiscriminately “In order to keep the environment and clean water sources for Ta Ma stream, we have mobilized the force of youth union officials and union members in the commune to regularly clean up the environment, and at the same time propagate to tourists to improve. awareness of keeping the general hygiene, protecting the landscape At the same time, encouraging tourists not to light fires, limiting bringing fresh food to the stream area However, due to too many tourists, many people lack Consciousness makes it difficult to completely eliminate the above problems “- Mr. Quang said.

Ta Ma stream in Ha Ri village, Vinh Thanh district, Binh Dinh province was suddenly known by everyone because of the blooming forest flowers. According to the local people, this is the one time the flowers bloom in unison, highlighting an area over the past decades. Along with the wild beauty of the mountains and forests, there is a clear stream preserved by the Bana community, so this place still retains its inherent beauty.
From Vinh Thanh town center, we move about 5km to Ha Ri village. From here, take another 15 minutes ride on the inter-communal concrete route to Ta Ma stream.

Ta Ma Stream has warm water, not as cool as other streams, the water flowing under the ancient trees shading colorful flowers. The stream is clear all year round, gurgling through each large and small rock.

The colors of the flowers light up in the sky. Photo: Le Hong Son

Around the beginning of March every year, the forest flowers begin to bloom. However, according to local people, this year is the first time, hundreds of ancient forest sites growing naturally on the Ta Ma stream longer than 1km in length bloom in unison, highlighting the whole area during the past decades .

Photo: Le Hong Son

The old trees in the forest bloomed blocks of yellow, orange, and red flowers, covering the whole stream. The flowers sway in the wind, creating a poetic scene. The large and flat rocks are chosen by many tourists as a place to stop for taking photos and capturing beautiful moments.

The forest pages are in full bloom. Photo: Le Hong Son

According to local people, the trees here are hundreds of years old. Photo: Le Hong Son

The flowers are intertwined. Photo: Le Hong Son

The number of visitors pouring in is very large, especially on weekends, so you can consider coming here on weekdays. This place is completely in harmony with the course so there will be no changing rooms, so you should be proactive about this.

The road must cross the suspension bridge, there is a broken wire so you should pay attention not to stand on the suspension bridge when crowded. Photo: Dinh Hung

The Bana community contributes greatly in preserving the original beauty of this place. Photo: Fanpage Suoi Ta Ma

However, due to the sudden increase in the number of tourists, the landscape here is being affected. Quite a lot of tourists are not conscious, littering indiscriminately, setting fire to roast food near the tree stumps, causing the fire to catch fire, causing fire to stem, branches and flowers.

Beautiful scene, clear water, spoiled for taking pictures. After eating, remember to clean up the trash you brought up! The forest gives us a beautiful view, “take nothing away but photos, leave nothing but footprints”.
