After gaining popularity in the country, the herd of wandering elephants in China is now becoming a star on a global scale.

The world’s major media outlets are simultaneously reporting on the elephants’ more than 500km journey from their habitat in the southwestern mountains of Yunnan to the outskirts of Kunming city. The elephants were filmed on the outskirts of Kunming city. Photo: AP. Rising star Over the past few days, elephants have become famous on China’s Weibo social network. Pictures of sleeping elephants attracted 25,000 posts and 200 million views on the evening of June 7. On Twitter and YouTube, users share cute videos of the elephants, especially the image of two young in the herd slipping into an irrigation ditch and needing the help of two adult elephants. AP . “We should be like these elephants, more family-oriented, take families on vacation, help, care for and protect each other,” said a YouTube comment by the account MrDeterministicchaos. The elephants were monitored via street security cameras as well as dozens of aerial recording drones. The elephants’ journey went unnoticed until May 24, when they entered Ngashan County, Yunnan Province, and caused a stir in the densely populated district. Elephants enter people’s houses, eat corn and other crops. One baby elephant even got drunk after entering the winery. The elephants have scoured some houses and fields. Photo: AP. Herds of elephants scour many farms for food and water. The elephants also went into a car dealership, even “visiting” a nursing home. They poked their trunks in through the window, causing a man to hide under the bed to avoid scaring the elephants. To date, the elephant herd has not caused any damage to people or livestock. However, crop damage is said to be more than $1 million. When they left their home in the mountains of southwestern Yunnan province, the herd numbered 16. However, authorities said the two children had returned. During the migration, a mother elephant gave birth to a young. The elephant herd now consists of 6 males and 3 adult females, 3 young individuals and 3 newborns. It is not clear why the elephants roam The reason the elephants travel such long distances is still a mystery. However, the elephants seem to be particularly attracted to maize, fruit and tropical crops. Some say that the herd of elephants is lost from the leader of the herd. According to Nilanga Jayasinghe, director of the Asian animal conservation program at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Asian elephants are attached to their habitat. Elephants only leave when there are major disturbances, loss of resources, or a sharp increase in the number of individuals. “In this case, we really don’t know why they left their range. But we do know their habitat has been severely damaged by agriculture, which converts forests into arable land. in that area for the past few decades,” Ms. Jayasinghe said. The WWF expert said that it is likely that the elephants are looking for a new habitat, now they are lost and just keep moving. The reason why the elephants moved away from their original range is still a mystery. Photo: AP. Chinese authorities have actively taken action to avoid negative interactions, but they must soon determine “what to do next, as well as avoid creating conflicts between elephants and people”, Ms. Jayasinghe said. Elephants are one of the most heavily protected species in China, which has helped the country’s elephant population continue to grow steadily despite the continuous shrinking of its natural habitat. Chinese authorities ask people to exercise maximum restraint when encountering elephants. At the place where the elephants pass, people are asked to stay indoors, not to stare at the elephant, not to use fire or any other measures to scare the elephant away. To date, authorities have adopted a variety of passive measures to keep the elephants away from urban areas, such as parking trucks and construction equipment in roadblocks, as well as using food to lure the elephants. By June 8, the elephants were on the outskirts of Kunming city. One of the adult males is separating himself from the herd, which creates both excitement and concern for those who want to continue monitoring the herd. In a statement on June 7, the command center monitoring the elephants said the elephants appeared to be resting. Chinese authorities have mobilized 410 rapid response personnel, police, many motor vehicles, and 14 drones to monitor the elephant herd. People living in the area near where the elephants passed have been evacuated. Temporary traffic control measures have been implemented. Authorities also prepared 2 tons of food for the elephants. One of the goals now is “to keep quiet to create conditions to lead the elephants to migrate west and south,” the command center said. The Asian elephant is the largest land animal in Eurasia. The number of Asian elephant species living in the wild is generally declining, currently only about 50,000 individuals. Habitat destruction, illegal hunting, and anthropogenic impact are the biggest threats to elephant survival. Herd of elephants ‘march’ in the city in China A herd of elephants travels from a tropical forest in Yunnan province (China) into downtown Kunming. They went into a car store and broke into people’s houses to eat 200 kg of corn.

A herd of elephants roams a distance of 500km. (Photo: THX) Already famous at home, a herd of wandering elephants in China suddenly became international stars when being recorded by major media around the world on a journey that lasted more than a year, with a distance 500km, from conservation area wildlife from the mountainous southwest of Yunnan province to the outskirts of Kunming province. After being published by the press, Twitter and YouTube were flooded with interesting clips of the elephants’ actions, especially the scene where two baby elephants slipped into a ditch and were picked up by older members of the herd. help. “We should live like elephants, always family-oriented, spend time resting with family and help, take care and protect each other,” an account named MrDeterministicchaos commented on YouTube. Pictures about herd of elephants has become a trend of interest in recent days on the Chinese social networking site Weibo. For example, photos of sleeping elephants have attracted 25,000 posts and 200 million views, as of the evening of June 7. This herd of 15 roaming elephants was spotted by security cameras. They go to many farms in search of food and water. They broke into a car shop and even broke into many other houses along the way. Although no human or animal damage has been reported, reports show that the elephant herd causes crop damage of more than 1 million USD. Initially when leaving the sanctuary, the elephant herd had 16 children. However, authorities said the two cubs returned to the forest and one mother gave birth to a baby elephant in the process. Therefore, the current elephant herd consists of 6 females and 3 adult males, 3 baby elephants and 3 newborns. There is still no answer as to the reason why the elephants made the trip Journeys so far away. They seem to be particularly attracted to corn, fruit, and tropical crops. There are some opinions that this herd may have been lost from the leader of the herd. According to Nilanga Jayasinghe, an Asian animal conservation expert at the World Wildlife Fund, Asian elephants are often loyal to Living area of them. They only leave when there is disturbance, loss of resources or a sharp increase in the number of individuals. “We really don’t know why they left the range. But we do know that the elephant herd’s habitat has been significantly damaged by agricultural practices and the conversion of forests into farmland over the past few decades. One possible case is that in the process of searching for a new habitat, this herd got lost and kept going,” Jayasinghe wrote in an email. Elephants are one of the priority protected species in China. This has helped the elephant population in China to steadily increase, even as their natural habitat is shrinking. The Chinese government also requires owners and people to exercise maximum restraint when encountering elephants. Specifically, when seeing elephants, people must stay indoors, do not stare at them and do not use firecrackers and other methods to scare them away, causing them to run away in fear. Interesting image of a herd of sleeping elephants. (Photo: THX) To date, many measures are being taken to prevent elephants from entering urban areas such as placing trucks and construction equipment in the road or using food as a lure. As of June 8, the herd was still on the outskirts of Kunming, a city of 7 million people. The fact that one of the males had separated himself from the herd created both excitement and concern for those trying to track down the herd. China has mobilized more than 410 emergency response personnel, police, multiple motor vehicles and 14 drones to monitor the elephant herd. People in the area near where the elephants operate have been evacuated. They also prepare 2 tons of food to provide for the elephants. The Asian elephant, the continent’s largest land animal, is generally in decline overall, with fewer than 50,000 individuals remaining in the wild. Habitat loss, illegal poaching, and human-wildlife conflict are the biggest threats to elephants’ survival.

The majestic Ngoc Long Tuyet Son seen from Lam Nguyet Coc. Two contrasting shades of blue Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is the 71st highest snow mountain in the world. The mountain range has 12 peaks, the highest peak is Phien Tu Dau with a height of 5,596m. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is covered with snow all year round, so the body of the mountain has the characteristic blue color of the rock, the top is the white color of ice and snow. Although the temperature is quite low, the vegetation at the foot of the mountain is very rich, including temperate, tropical and temperate trees. Traveling by cable car on the banks of the Jinsha River, you can see the lush, vast vegetation, looming small residential areas of the Naxi people. Lam Nguyet Coc is located in the north of Cam Hai Tu, south of Van Sam Bang, there are 4 lakes joined together like a crescent moon with jade green color, so it is called Lam Nguyet Coc (blue moon valley). ). Four lakes including Ngoc Dich, Kinh Dam, Tinh Dao and Lam Nguyet are like four large mirrors reflecting the majestic Ngoc Long snow mountain. Blue moon valley also has brown stone steps. Those stairs are divided into small walls so that the water flows down murmuring, poetic. The water in the lake has a characteristic jade green color and is clear on sunny days, however, on rainy days, the water turns white. The climate in Lam Nguyet Coc is very good, the summer is about 25oC. Due to the high terrain, Lam Nguyet Coc welcomes bright sunlight but warm, low humidity. The “mini” waterfalls are nourished from melting ice on the top of Ngoc Long. Famous wedding photography locations According to local people, in Lam Nguyet Valley, there was once a Naxi couple who fell in love with each other. The boy who wants to show his love to the girl will have to stand barefoot under the cold water in the valley in the winter, this is a challenge for the boy to show his sincerity to the girl. If they overcome this challenge in the presence of the holy mountain of Ngoc Long, the couple will be eternally happy. Therefore, many couples take the cable car to a relatively high altitude on Ngoc Long Tuyet Son to preserve their marriage photos, even though the air on it is quite thin, it is mandatory to bring an oxygen tank and an anti-air jacket. Specialized refrigeration. The busiest wedding photography season for photographers is spring and autumn, when the young leaves are green or when the vegetation turns yellow and rustles. Another recently established photography-related service is riding and taking pictures with yaks (also known as Yak cows), a species of cow that lives in cold regions along the Himalayan mountain range, Thanh plateau – Tibet and Mongolia. The yak is about 1.5m to 2m high, white or brown, black in color, has long, thick and smooth fur, beautiful curved horns. The price of renting a cow is about 10-15 yuan depending on the cow owner. Keeping photos on the back of a yaks, behind is Ngoc Long Tuyet Son, is something that any visitor would like to have. A woman rides a yak in Lam Nguyet Valley. Both Ngoc Long Tuyet Son and Lam Nguyet Coc are often included in the Lijiang – Shangri La tour because they are quite close to each other, some tours include the ancient city of Dali and the stone forest of Shilin. In particular, at Ngoc Long Park, visitors can register to enjoy the musical “Impression of Lijiang” by director Zhang Yimou with the participation of 500 dancers and 200 horses on an outdoor stage. The musical is more than an hour and a half long, focusing on promoting the culture of Lijiang and Naxi ethnic people in front of the majestic mountain scenery of the Jade Dragon. Every day “Impressive Lijiang” has 3 performances at 9am, 11am and 2pm. Traveling to Yunnan is the first choice of Vietnamese people when coming to China because Yunnan is close to the Vietnamese border in Lao Cai (via Ha Khau border gate), can go by train, cool climate, cheap price. The cost is low and there are many cultural colors from ethnic minorities such as Naxi ethnic group, Di ethnic group, Bai ethnic group, Thai ethnic group, etc.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology has just announced a new discovery about the corona virus, showing that current discoveries about Covid-19 are just ‘the tip of the iceberg’.
In the latest paper published on May 21 on bioRvix – an open-access repository for the biological sciences, researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (China) found a new strain of corona virus. in the family of bats, according to South China Morning Post .

The study said the new virus is more distantly related to the previously found strains of the coronavirus that cause Covid-19. However, this new virus has a high degree of similarity in gene sequence with the virus that causes Covid-19. This is the first time that the Wuhan Institute of Virology has released detailed information about the virus it has collected several years ago. “These results suggest that the coronavirus we detected from bats may be just the tip of the iceberg,” the team wrote in the paper. Wuhan Institute of Virology, China. Photo: AFP. Many research results have never been published Through the paper, the institute also provides more insight into the viruses they host. The latest study examines eight viruses collected during a 2015 survey trip to a town in southwestern China’s Yunnan province. During this trip, researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology collected more than 1,000 specimens from bats living in and around the cave over a three-year period. The Wuhan Institute of Virology has studied the corona virus found in bats. Photo: South China Morning Post. This trip started after a few workers came to the cave and became ill. After testing, the doctors said they had an unprecedented virus, so they started looking for a virus from bats. The team also added that the group of workers at that time did not have Covid-19. Previously, in the journal Nature published in November 2020, Wuhan researchers said that during their exploration of the cave, they found 9 viruses that cause severe acute respiratory syndrome and Covid- 19. One of them is RaTG13 – published by researchers in February – still considered the closest “relative” to Sars-CoV-2, the cause of Covid-19. The remaining eight viruses were newly classified in the May 21 paper. The origin of Covid-19 is still unclear and controversial. Doubt In February, after a trip to China, international experts investigating the origin of Covid-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO) suggested that the virus probably came from a bat-like animal. . The virus then passes to another animal that has close contact with humans and infects them. Chinese virologist Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Photo: SCMP. However, critics, including the head of WHO, say the investigation is not deep enough. May 23, Wall Street Journal Citing a confidential US report, it was revealed that in November 2019, before China reported its first Covid-19 cases, some researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalized. . Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian stated on May 24 that the article was “completely untrue”. Article by Wall Street Journal was released ahead of the WHO meeting, which is expected to discuss in detail the next phase of the investigation into the origins of Covid-19. The amazing variety of corona virus virus Evolutionary biologist Edward Holmes at the University of Sydney said that the paper by researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology provides further evidence that the Wuhan laboratory does not have a virus closely related to Sars -CoV-2 – the origin of the Covid-19 outbreak. A database of hundreds of thousands of bats is needed to see a complete picture of the coronavirus. Photo: AP. “This paper shows us the incredible diversity of coronaviruses found in animals in the wild,” added Mr Holmes. He and another team of experiments also found four viruses in bats closely related to Sars-CoV-2 among more than 400 samples collected in Yunnan province. The area is considered by WHO to be an important place for further research into the origins of Covid-19, although it remains unclear whether research is ongoing. The May 21 article also highlights recent work that highlights the possibility that Covid-19 is related to another species, besides bats. A pangolin coronavirus has the ability to effectively bind to human cells, distinct from the bat viruses associated with Sars-CoV-2 that have been identified so far. However, according to Maciej Boni, an associate professor at the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics at Pennsylvania State University (USA), there are not enough viruses yet to see an overall picture. “We need to have databases of hundreds of thousands of viruses in bats. Until then, we won’t have many new discoveries about the origin of Sars-CoV-2,” he said. Satellite photos show that Covid-19 can spread in Wuhan from August 2019 According to a study from Harvard Medical School (USA), satellite photos of hospital parking lots in Wuhan show that the corona virus may have been spreading since August 2019.

Recently, the impact of a 5.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Yunnan province (China) has left aftershocks, causing many high-rise buildings in Hanoi to shake strongly. According to the Center for Earthquake Alert and Tsunami Warning (Institute of Geophysics), people should not panic and run away from the building but need to calmly handle the situation.
According to experts, an earthquake is a shaking on the earth’s surface as a result of the sudden release of energy in the earth’s crust and the generation of seismic waves.

There are 3 groups of causes leading to earthquakes, including: endogenous causes – due to tectonic movements of tectonic plates in the earth’s crust, leading to faulting activities or volcanic eruptions in subduction zones. (where two tectonic plates move in the direction and attract each other and subduction occurs); exogenous causes – due to meteorites hitting the earth or large landslides; human causes – due to survey or mining or construction, especially underground nuclear tests. Regarding the level of danger, the direct impact of earthquakes is shaking the ground, causing cracking, collapsing constructions, landslides and avalanches. Its severity is based on its magnitude, distance from the epicenter, and geological and geomorphological conditions at the affected site. Earthquakes also often cause fires when they destroy power lines and gas lines. Undersea earthquakes can cause landslides or deformation of the seabed, giving rise to tsunamis (large waves that overwhelm the oceans and then make landfall). Sometimes earthquakes even cause volcanoes to be active, even volcanoes that have long since died…. What to do if an earthquake occurs? According to scientists from the Center for Earthquake Reporting and Warning: “People in Hanoi’s high-rise buildings should not panic and run away from the building, but need to calmly handle the situation. For hanging objects in the house, especially glass to stay at a height, it is necessary to arrange them properly to avoid shaking and dropping them. Because earthquakes happen so suddenly, there is nothing we can do to prevent them. The only way to cope is to minimize the damage caused by the earthquake. When an earthquake occurs: To avoid injury, even loss of life due to earthquake, the most basic rule is to find a safe place to avoid hard objects falling on the head/person when there is shaking. For those who are indoors, it is possible to get under the table / under the bed, away from the glass doors, and avoid moving while there is still a tremor. If you are cooking, close the gas cylinder valve immediately. Use flashlights instead of matches, lighters, candles… because they are easy to cause fires. In the case of being on the street, it is necessary to stop at the curb, take refuge in empty lots, avoid crowded areas; Stay away from tall buildings, high walls, under bridges, power lines, power poles… If you are in a stadium or theater, you need to sit still until the tremor has subsided before moving out in an orderly manner. When near the coast, it is necessary to move away from the coast because earthquakes can cause tsunamis. After an earthquake occurs: Turn off the gas lock and unnecessary power sources to avoid fire. After an earthquake occurs, there is a good chance of further aftershocks, so continued careful attention is needed. If the house is damaged or the current location may be dangerous, it is necessary to move to a shelter. While moving, it is necessary to stay away from areas with glass doors and hanging electric lights. Absolutely do not use the elevator because it may be stuck due to a power failure. In addition, all emergency plans should be prepared such as: Develop a disaster response plan at home and at work; Identify the best places to hide in the house; Household items such as televisions, mirrors, computers, bookshelves, cabinets, etc. should be fixed and placed away from the bed to limit the risk of falling. Back up flashlights, batteries, radios, tapes, medicines… at convenient, easy-to-reach locations. Change them as often as they expire. Shaping indoor locations and emergency exits in apartments and high-rise buildings; follow notices and instructions of natural disaster prevention, control and rescue agencies. Save emergency phone numbers of emergency, fire protection and other authorities to call for help when needed, like 114 – fire, 115 – emergency…

It is expected that the Bach Hac Than hydroelectric dam – located between two provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan, China – will start operating from July 2021. This project raises many concerns about biodiversity.

Hydropower dams can negatively impact the environment. More harm than good? Bach Hac Than Hydropower Plant officially stored water when the second bottom outlet closed on April 6. This means that the world’s second largest hydroelectric project has taken an important step towards its power generation goal on July 1. With the discharge door closed, the reservoir water level begins to rise and will reach 775 meters by mid-June. As a result, generation conditions are met. From August to September, the water in the lake will be stored up to 800 meters and then 825 meters in June 2022. The total storage capacity of the Bach Hac Than dam will be 20.627 billion cubic meters, accounting for 91% of the Kim Sa river basin. This is an important part of the Yangtze River flood control system, which has a capacity of 7.5 billion cubic meters. The total installed capacity of this second-ranked power plant in the world is 16 million KW. The capacity of a world-leading unit is 1 million kilowatts. New electricity will help China achieve its carbon neutralization goal. The Bach Hac Than Hydropower Station is an important part of the flood control system in the Yangtze River basin. At the same time, Bach Hac Than is a landmark project in the development of the global hydropower industry. However, while some people give information about clean energy of hydroelectricity, many argue that it can cause immeasurable damage to biodiversity, soil erosion, loss of archaeological and cultural sites. Even more than a million people will have to be relocated. Although the government has yet to reveal a detailed approach to meet the target of achieving carbon neutralization by 2060, hydropower has been featured in the 5-year plan 2021 – 2025 as well as vision 2035. Both were approved by China’s top legislature in March. In those plans, the government stated its intention to “step up the construction of hydroelectric facilities in southwestern China”. At the same time, promote wind energy and solar energy. “The dams will be a solid support to China’s energy industry and reduce carbon emissions. The construction of hydropower plants can bring benefits to irrigation, shipping and power generation, with great socio-economic value, ”said Professor Lu Qiang of Tsinghua University. Lin Boqiang, head of the Xiamen University’s China Energy Policy Research Institute, said the country is set to expand hydroelectric capacity. Because, water is the cheapest clean energy that can be used stably. “The dam construction is still controversial in China because of environmental concerns. However, the objection is no longer as strong as before, because the need to achieve carbon neutralization is increasingly urgent, ”said Mr. Lin. China’s dam construction activity began in the 1950s and has accelerated over the past two decades. At the end of 2018, Chinese hydroelectricity had a capacity of 352GW, accounting for 28% of the total global capacity and more than three times that of any other country. Heavy impact The Bai Hac Than Dam is worth 170 billion yuan ($ 26 billion) on the Jinsha River (Yangtze), in Sichuan province. The dam has made many people admire for the speed of its construction. China only took four years to build, despite the rugged terrain and far away, with the help of artificial intelligence technology. The Bai Hac Than emergency construction reflects the acceleration in China’s plan to expand hydroelectric capacity as a source of renewable energy. By the time Bach Hac Than reaches full capacity by the end of next year, China will be a country with five out of the 10 largest hydroelectric plants in the world. That pace of development has raised concerns about the impact of hydropower dams. China Green Development and Biodiversity Conservation said it is closely monitoring new dam construction projects. “It has been shown that dam construction harms the ecosystem and affects the habitat of wildlife,” said Wang Jing, a spokesman for the organization. We are concerned that some places will increase the development of hydropower projects to serve the government’s goal of carbon neutral ”. According to Fan Xiao, geologist and chief engineer of the Sichuan Department of Geology and Minerals, dams have a negative impact on the local ecological environment. Especially for aquatic animal biodiversity. They slow down the water flow rate and reduce the volume and purity of the water, Fan said. From there, it destroys the habitats of aquatic animals and hinders fish migration. Chinese scientists in 2019 announced the extinction of paddle fish. It is one of the largest freshwater fish in the world. They are also known as Chinese swordfish, with a length of 7 meters. This fish is believed to have gone extinct from 2005 – 2010. The construction of the Cat Chau Ba dam on the Yangtze River since the 1970s has been a major contributor to this species’ decline, researchers found, by preventing fish from reaching their only breeding ground. upstream. According to the scientists, the river system is in trouble containing more than 4,000 aquatic species. However, dam construction, overfishing, water traffic and pollution have caused a lot of damage, with fish stocks declining and biodiversity rapidly declining. Mr. Fan said that building more hydroelectric plants is not the best way to reduce carbon emissions. “Water is a kind of clean energy, but we cannot ignore the huge carbon emissions generated by dam construction, excavation and migration,” warns the expert.

Many people witnessed the bloody incident on the side of National Highway 554.

At 18:00 on March 20, Xie Ming, a villager in Luoguan Village, Jinniu Town, Binchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, stabbed Jin Min, the female owner of the mutton restaurant in the same village, with more than ten knives. Jin Min died on the spot.

This is Xie Ming’s second death. In 2006, Xie Ming was sentenced to 15 years in prison for wounding and causing death in a brawl. After a total of five reductions in his sentence, he was released from prison on January 26, 2017.

A reporter from the Beijing News learned that in addition to the two murders, Xie Ming had clashed with his family and neighbors on many occasions, or threatened them, or injured or disabled them.

After the incident occurred on March 20, more than 120 villagers jointly filed a petition, hoping that the judicial department will severely punish the murderer in accordance with the law and return a stable and peaceful village to the village.

On the afternoon of April 14, the police surnamed Li from the Binchuan County Public Security Bureau stated that the county party committee and county government had set up a special investigation team to take Xie Ming’s assault as a key inspection and verification case for the education and rectification of the political and legal teams. The case is currently being strictly and orderly. During the verification process.

“Kill you if you don’t close the store”

Binchuan County is known as the “Hometown of Citrus in China”, “Hometown of Grapes in China”, and “Top 100 High-quality Demonstration Counties for the Development of the National Fruit Industry Development Project”. Among more than ten counties under the jurisdiction of Dali, it is a relatively economically powerful county. Qiang County.

Luoguan Village is located on both sides of National Highway 554, with convenient transportation and prosperous commerce. It is commonly known as “Luoguanying” locally. Many people in the village open shops on the street to do small business, and there are many car repair shops, canteens, and restaurants on both sides of the road.

Jin Min’s house is on the west side of the national highway. In the second half of 2019, her family used 3 bungalows facing the street to open a dog meat restaurant.

According to his family, when the dog meat restaurant was first opened, Xie Ming occasionally came to eat. Seeing Jin Min’s business booming, Xie Ming also had the idea of opening a dog meat restaurant.

According to information from Tianyan, Xie Ming opened the “Binchuan County Optimistic Dog Meat Restaurant” in May 2020. Xie’s house is less than 100 meters away from Jin’s house, but Xie’s house is not facing the street, but in an alley. The business of Xie’s Dog Meat Restaurant is not as prosperous as the Jin’s.

Jin Min’s relatives recalled that the jealous Xie Ming threatened Jin Min many times and asked him to close the dog meat restaurant. In this regard, some villagers also confirmed that they had seen Xie Ming arguing in Jin Min’s shop.

On April 10, the mutton restaurant of Jin Min’s home, family members introduced that this was the site where Jin Min was assassinated.Beijing News reporter Wu Xiaofei

According to Jin Lei, Jin Min’s son, in the second half of 2020, due to repeated threats from Xie Ming, Jin Min closed the dog meat restaurant.

“The mother and daughter are at home, and they will be closed if they are afraid of accidents.” Jin Lei said that his father had been working outside for a long time. He himself didn’t often go home from work in the urban area of Dali. Only his mother and sister lived together at home.

The Jin family’s fear of Xie Ming and his son was not only because Xie Ming had a “previous record” in the murder case, but also related to an old grievance. Jin Lei said that Xie Ming stabbed Jin Min’s father-in-law more than 20 years ago. “At that time, the thigh of the old man was pierced.”

In March 2021, Jin Min reopened the mutton restaurant in the original dog meat restaurant, but this still caused Xie Ming’s dissatisfaction, and a bloody crime occurred within a few days.

Jin Lei saw Xie Ming assaulting his mother in the neighbor’s surveillance video. According to his description, on the morning of March 20, Xie Ming came to his mother’s restaurant, accused his mother of daring to open the restaurant, and asked Jin Min to close it immediately. Xie Ming’s threat can be clearly heard in the surveillance video, “Kill you if you don’t close the store.”

Surveillance video showed that Xie Ming came to the restaurant to argue with Jin Min again at around 6 pm that day, and then Xie Ming left. A few minutes later, Xie Ming entered the restaurant with a knife and attacked Jin Min. The assault continued from inside the store to outside the store. Jin Min has no ability to resist.

On the day of the incident, only Jin Min’s mother and daughter were in the Jin family. My daughter Mengmeng was in the bedroom on the second floor of the courtyard. She did not hear her mother arguing with Xie Ming. There was a faint noise in the middle, “I thought it was because of the crowds in the store.”

Later, a relative in the village went upstairs and called her, telling her mother that “there was a car accident.” She went downstairs and saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. The relatives had already covered the dead mother with a blanket.

“Men, women and children in the village are afraid of him”

Regarding the death of his mother, Jin Lei said that the villagers’ “indifference” made him unable to let go. “You can see a lot of people watching in the video, but I didn’t see anyone calling the police. I heard that it was a passerby who called the police first.”

In this regard, a reporter from the Beijing News asked Zhang Hao, deputy director of the Binchuan County Public Security Bureau, for confirmation. He replied that “subject to the county government’s notification.”

On April 15, the Binchuan County Government Information Office issued a notice showing that at about 18:8 on March 20, the 110 Command Center of the County Public Security Bureau received a report from the masses. “In Luoguan Camp, Jinniu Town, a fight occurred and someone was killed by a knife. After receiving the police, the County Public Security Bureau quickly organized police to rush to the scene for disposal. At 18:26 that day, the suspect Xie was arrested.

Some insiders told reporters that the villagers’ reaction was not without reason.

On March 30, 2021, the village committee of Luoguan Village issued a certificate stating: “Xie Ming was aggressive since he was a child, and he had fought with others and his family many times. After drinking, he often caused trouble and ignored laws and regulations…. I’m afraid of him… often bullying his neighbors.”

66-year-old Xie Ming, a junior high school student, is over 170 cm tall, has a long face and a short head. The old man in the village said that there are five brothers and sisters of Xie Ming, and he is the eldest in the family.

Xie Ming’s ex-wife Wang Yumei told the Beijing News reporter that after Xie Ming got married, he separated from his parents. His parents live with his younger brother. Because of complaining about his parents taking care of his younger brother, Xie Ming estranged from his parents and younger brother.

Wang Yumei and Xie Ming married in 1975 and have two sons and a daughter. Wang Yumei said that in the first ten years of marriage, Xie Ming was the same as her husband in an ordinary family. The apparent change in his temperament began with a joke made by his neighbor in his middle age.

Wang Yumei recalled that once a wedding banquet was held in the village, she took three children to help cook for the head of the household, but at the wedding banquet, a neighbor teased her for having an affair with others. Although it was just a joke, the seeds of suspicion were planted in Xie Ming’s heart.

“I don’t believe anything at all. Since then, he has been drinking frequently, hitting people as soon as he drinks, and sometimes even without drinking.” Wang Yumei pointed to the head, arms, legs, and feet. Many scars said that her body was already scarred, and her arms and legs had been discounted.

In the upper right corner of Wang Yumei’s head, there was a five-cent coin-sized wound showing obvious dents. She said that Xie Ming “pierced it with a nail.”

In the late 1990s, Wang Yumei and Xie Ming divorced.

Sentenced to death and sentenced to 5 reductions in 15 years

It was found from the Judgment Documents Network that Xie Ming had been punished several times for intentionally injuring others.

On June 29, 1999, Xie Ming was sentenced to three years imprisonment by the Binchuan County People’s Court for the crime of intentional injury, with a four-year probation.

On November 11, 2005, he was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment with a two-year probation by the Binchuan County People’s Court for the crime of intentional injury.

On the evening of August 3, 2006, Xie Ming accompanied his girlfriend in Jinniu Town to search for his girlfriend’s daughter who had not returned home for several months. The two saw his girlfriend’s daughter with Yang and others near Xiaoxin Village. Xie Ming used one Steel brazed Yang on the head. At about 21 o’clock that day, Shi and many others carried weapons such as knives and steel pipes to “revenge” Yang. After Xie Ming was found near Daxin Village, the two sides fought. During the fight, Shi was stabbed in the chest by Xie Ming with a steel drill, and Xie Ming was also knocked to the ground by multiple opponents. Shi died of his injuries afterwards. Xie Ming was seriously injured.

The Beijing News reporter learned that Xie Ming lost his right arm in the fight.

On November 29, 2007, the Intermediate People’s Court of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture issued a criminal and attached civil sentence, and Xie Ming was sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of intentional injury. After the sentence was pronounced, Xie Ming lodged an appeal on the grounds that his behavior was too defensive and the sentence was too heavy.

On March 7, 2008, the Yunnan Higher People’s Court commuted Xie Ming to 15 years’ imprisonment for the crime of intentional injury. The sentence was from December 27, 2006 to December 26, 2021.

Another[(2016)Yun29XingGengNo.1890]Criminal ruling of the Intermediate People’s Court of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, shows that Xie Ming was sent to Dali Prison on April 21, 2008 to serve his sentence and reform. While serving his sentence, Xie Ming was commuted 4 times because of his repentance. The sentence after the commutation ended on January 26, 2018.

Subsequently, Xie Ming was commuted again, and his sentence ended on January 26, 2017.

Villagers petition for severe punishment

After being released from prison, Xie Ming returned to the village to live with his eldest son, two young granddaughters, and ex-wife Wang Yumei.

“He was the same as before. He always drank and went crazy when he drank too much. With the exception of his two granddaughters, he did everything at home.” Wang Yumei said, Xie Ming carried a small bag with a knife in it after he was released from prison. Because he feels that he has only one hand, and Wan is unable to beat others in a conflict, so he should bring a knife.”

At the beginning of 2018, Wang Yumei revealed that his son did not follow Xie Ming’s request to dispose of a field in his home. He stabbed his son with a sharp object, causing multiple traumas to the latter. “My son’s entire face was chopped off by him (Xie Ming) with a knife.”

The neighbors across the road from Xie’s family were very afraid of Xie Ming. In order to reduce the frequency of direct contact with Xie Ming, the neighbor retreated more than 20 meters of the new home that was supposed to be built along the roadside, and the door was also planned to be installed in a direction where Xie’s house could not be seen.

Xia Mou, deputy director of the Luoguan Village Committee, said that the village committee would mediate after receiving reports from the masses, but he did not want to say more about Xie Ming’s daily life.

According to the “certificate” issued by the village committee, due to Xie Ming’s disability, in August 2017, the village committee included Xie Ming in the minimum living standard after a visit and democratic evaluation, and at the same time received a subsidy for the disabled.

Regarding the assessment of Xie Ming’s minimum living standard, Li Police Officer of the Binchuan County Public Security Bureau said that Xie will be older next year, has a bad relationship with his family, and has a low willingness to take care of his children. This is the result of democratic review in accordance with the law.

The “proof” also stated that at the beginning of 2019, Xie Ming and villager Liu had a dispute over the ridge passage, and the village committee promptly resolved the conflict through mediation and resolved the conflict.

On the afternoon of April 11, a reporter from the Beijing News came to Xie Ming’s home. The door to the dog meat restaurant run by the Xie family was open and there was no one in the restaurant.

After the murder of Jin Min, the Jin family organized the villagers to initiate a petition, hoping that law enforcement agencies would severely punish the murderer in accordance with the law and return to the hometown for peace. The Beijing News reporter learned that there are more than 120 villagers who put their fingerprints on and signed the petition.

A villager who cooperated with the police investigation told the Beijing News that when the police asked him if he knew the content of the petition, he said that although he did not read the specific text, he knew the purpose of the petition. “We hope he will be tried soon.”

Xia, deputy director of the village committee, said that some villagers spontaneously formed “emergency commandos” in the village, which are mainly used to guard against theft and fire prevention at specific times such as busy farming or festivals. The daily function of the village committee is to coordinate neighbourhood disputes and other issues, and cannot prevent vicious cases. Local public security is mainly the responsibility of the public security department.

From April 11 to April 13, relevant persons in charge of the Binchuan County Public Security Bureau, Jinniu Town Government, and Luoguan Village Village Committee visited Jin Min’s home to give condolences and investigate the case, and said that government departments would vigorously assist in solving the difficulties.

The most impressive city lakes are Wuhan East Lake, Hangzhou West Lake, Nanjing Xuanwu Lake, but although the mountain lakes have been to Tibet seven times, the most favorite is Lugu Lake in Yunnan. It has beautiful natural beauty and mysterious. Humanistic mystery.

Presumably all people who have been to Lugu Lake have heard of the Marriage Clan and the Mosuo people. They are known as the “last matrilineal clan in the world”, and some people compare them to the “daughter country.”

For a long time, the female culture has been washing away the threat of cultural erosion with a wise mind and a powerful body. Under the impact of this modern civilization, there is also such a mystery that makes the beauty of Lugu Lake exude a unique charm. The marriage bridge with a vicissitudes of history has attracted countless tourists to this day.

I have been here twice, once in late autumn and once in early autumn. I have a good relationship with the autumn of Lugu Lake. When the mountains and rivers merge, the ancient humanities naturally derive. The arrival of autumn symbolizes the maturity of fruits, the harvest of farmland, and the cohesion of culture.

Lugu Lake was called “Lukuhaizi” in ancient times. The magical Mosuo language of Naxi people always makes people curious. In their language, “Lugu Lake” means the lake in the ravine, and is their “mother lake”. Known as the “Penglai Wonderland”, it also has such nicknames as “the pearl of the plateau”, “a pure land in northwestern Yunnan”, and “the first wonderland in the East”.

This ravine lake connects Yunnan and Sichuan, but the culture of the mysterious daughter country does not divide the monument boundary, and the traditional life of the Mosuo people is still a place that travelers and explorers yearn for.

Even if today’s Lugu Lake has become a very mature and commercial tourist attraction, people’s curiosity about that culture is still full of freshness.

On the shore of Lugu Lake, there are not only Mosuo people, but also 7 ethnic groups including Yi, Pumi, and Mongolian. Among them, only the Mosuo people make Lugu Lake more and more magical.

The sun and the moon rotate, and everything is broken into three thousand dusts in the sky and earth, and the most pure touch falls into a bay of blue lake. When the dust settles, that bay of lake is the Lugu Lake that the world yearns for.

Lugu Lake stretches from north to west to southeast. It is 9.5 kilometers long from north to south, 5.2 kilometers wide from east to west, and its shoreline is about 44 kilometers long. It was selected as the best leisure tourism destination in China National Tourism in 2018.

In autumn, Lugu Lake is more charming. Just like the Mosuo people who have no words and take Daba culture as their culture, the beautiful scenery and rich legendary style are full of mystery. Locke, the captain of the American expedition, once expressed his heartfelt admiration, saying, “This is a place suitable for gods to live.”

Standing on the mountainside, the jewel-like Lugu Lake gradually deepens in the autumn colors, integrating the landscape culture of “one lake and two provinces” with a calm oil painting tone. If I have the opportunity, I will choose to come again in the fall.

I remember when I came to Lugu Lake for the first time, the mountain mist enveloped the lake in the morning, and the small island was floating on the calm lake like a boat. At that time, there were no particularly noisy people. The quietness and simplicity of the surroundings made me unable to believe Yunnan There is such a wonderland.

If only the scenery is used to describe Lugu Lake, it is more beautiful than it, but no other lake has the ancient and mysterious Mosuo culture like it.

Although the Mosuo people have no words, their traditional life is a cultural history. Because of their cultural multiplication, the mountains and rivers are more beautiful and full of vitality, making Lugu Lake so unique. When people use Sichuan and Yunnan to distinguish a bay of lake water, in fact, the flow of culture and water is closer than that of humans.

Immersive, the water and the sky are the same color, the pig trough boats slowly gliding on the blue waves and the Mosuo folk songs slowly floating between the water and the sky make it more simple and quiet.

In Lugu Lake quietly changing their colors with the changing of the seasons, people look forward to the forests of the mountain lakes, while the Mosuo marriage customs and ancient civilization are silently integrated into this landscape.

There are many ancient myths, long historical monuments and mysterious humanities hidden on the shores of Lugu Lake and on various small islands, such as Liwubi Island, Rock Island (Snake Island, because the American botanist Dr. Locke once lived here In 8 years, the relationship with the Mosuo people was very good. Later, people called Snake Island “Rock Island”);

Luoshui Temple, Daluoshui Village (one of the must-visit places for most tourists), Lige Village, Lige Peninsula, Zuoming Bridge (the only bridge on Lugu Lake), Xiaoluoshui Village (the last place beside Lugu Lake in Yunnan) A village), Goddess Gem Mountain and so on.

These places not only have profound history and culture, ancient magical folk customs, but also beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes, attracting a large number of tourists, and they have become the first choice for many variety shows.

Jianshui is located 220 kilometers south of Kunming and is directly accessible by expressways. This small town in southern Yunnan existed in the Tang Dynasty, named Huili. By the Song Dynasty, he was quite famous. The first feeling that Jianshui gave me was that it was quiet and cultural. For someone who likes a deep cultural heritage and a rich history, Jianshui travel is your best choice. The picture shows the Huiqiao Station in Jianshui Township.

I originally planned to take a small train to Tuanshan, but later changed to a chartered car. I think it is more suitable for my travel plan to charter a car to follow me for a day. I have a car for 400 yuan a day in Jianshui and go to Shiping direction. Row. On the way to Jianshui, I found a small railway station with yellow mottled walls called Xianghuiqiao Railway Station. The picture shows the Xianghuiqiao Railway Station.

Xianghuiqiao Railway Station is the most famous meter-gauge railway in China, the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway built by the French in 1903-1910. The meter gauge railway has a gauge of only 1 meter and a speed of more than 30 kilometers per hour. In order to satisfy people’s nostalgic experience, it has now been developed into a tourist route.

From Lin’an to Tuanshan, it is a necessary route for self-driving tours. The lonely station has a sense of loneliness on the horizon. It is a place that can give birth to romance or cause sadness.

Meter gauge refers to a narrow gauge railway with a gauge of 1 meter. The most famous meter gauge railway is the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway built by the French more than 100 years ago. Today, only a few meter gauges are still in use. The ancient city of Jianshui in Yunnan has reopened a 13-kilometer-long meter-gauge train. The Jianshui retro sightseeing train not only connects historical scenic spots around Jianshui, but is also known as the “most beautiful meter-gauge train in China.”

The Jianshui Sightseeing Train is 13 kilometers in total, and Lin’an Station (starting station), Shuanglongqiao Station, Xianghuiqiao Station and Tuanshan Station (terminal station) are set up along the way. There are only two trips a day, departing at 9:00 in the morning and 14:30 in the afternoon. If you want to get on the small train during the holidays, you must purchase tickets in advance: the ticket price is 90 yuan per person.

Xianghuiqiao Station is the second stop on the journey of Jianshui Train. It is only 4 kilometers away from the Shiqikongqiao Station in the previous station. Xianghuiqiao Station is located in the north of Xinfang Village, Jianshui County, Honghe Prefecture. It was built in 1936. It covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters and is named after it is located next to the famous Langqiao Village in Southern Yunnan.

Xianghuiqiao Station is a building with a history of nearly one hundred years. It is also the only station on the Bishi Railway and even the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway that combines Chinese and Western styles, while the other stations are all French-style buildings.

The main building of Xianghuiqiao Railway Station, the station building, is a single-eave modern building designed by combining the characteristics of different Chinese and French architectural styles. The station building is mainly composed of Chinese-style wooden structure with symmetrical layout. Some small wooden structures still use traditional Chinese architecture. For decoration, there are three wide wooden frames on each side to connect with the station building. The outer walls are unified to the yellow of the bishi railway station building at that time. The wall now is old and mottled, and has a sense of age. It is also the place where many tourists take pictures and take pictures the most.

Entering the station, the inside of the station is not very large, and the doors, windows and aisles inside the station are very small. This may be the reason why there were not many passengers at that time. But the interior decoration is very warm, with unique picture frames on the walls, floor lamps with long light poles, and retro old-fashioned gramophones, which makes people feel like they are back to the Republic of China era. But this is already a bit commercial, and now it has become a tea bar.

Behind the station is a large patio with a lot of flowers and plants on the side. The surrounding walls are a bit ragged, but many tourists like this kind of building with a sense of age. There is a row of tables and stools in the middle of the patio, and there are many flowers on the table. Tourists eat tea, drink coffee and take photos here.

This station is usually not crowded, only a few local elderly people chat and rest here. But every time the tourist train is calling into the station, the place immediately becomes lively. Various small merchants and hawkers immediately yell enthusiastically. Some carry small bamboo baskets with strawberries and other fruits, and some sell roasts. Insects and peanuts are emotional and enthusiastically peddled to tourists. As soon as the little train left, tranquility was restored here, leaving only a few locals who were not tourists.

The Xianghuiqiao Railway Station is not big, and usually it’s almost finished in half an hour, so the small train only stays here for half an hour. But this will also miss the scenery of the Xianghui Bridge just beside it. The Xianghui Bridge and the Xianghui Bridge Station are actually only a little way away, but because the small trains only stop here for half an hour, most of them Tourists dare not go far for fear that they will not be able to catch up with the bus, so many tourists do not go to the Xianghui Bridge to take a look. And we are traveling by car and are not bound by time. Such a good attraction will definitely not be missed.

Xianghui Bridge is located on the Lujiang River in Xinfang Village, Xizhuang Town, about 6 kilometers west of Jianshui City. Across the east and west banks of the Lujiang River, it covers an area of 700 square meters and is a bridge named after the imperial examination in history. Although the Xianghui Bridge is not as famous as the Shuanglong Bridge on the same river, it has its own characteristics.

The Xianghui Bridge is a three-hole stone arch bridge built in the 19th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1814). It is an ancient bridge with a history of nearly 200 years. The main bridge is 30 meters long, and the approach bridges at the east and west ends are 25.3 meters long. The length of the bridge corridor and the width of the bridge deck are both 7 meters. The bridge deck is completely covered by the main pavilion and the second pavilion named “Wenxing Pavilion”, which is the only wind and rain covered bridge in Jianshui area.

Puzhehei, a scenic spot that has been popular all over the country because of the filming locations of “Where Did Dad Go” and “Three Lives III Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms” is very famous, but people don’t know much about it. Many people know this place, but I don’t know what’s interesting. In fact, it is a karst-landform ethnic village known for its landscapes such as “water pastoral, lakes and peaks, Yijia water town, karst wetland, lotus world, and migratory bird paradise”.

According to local friends, Puzhehei has a total of 312 solitary peaks, 83 karst caves in various shapes and shapes, 54 lakes connected, clear and transparent 20,000 acres of water, majestic 13 kilometers of grand canyon, mysterious and simple 3 Kilometers of ancient tea-horse road and 40,000 acres of plateau karst wetlands sound amazing. There are as many as 265 various scenic spots.

When you get to Puzhehei, there are a few places you must visit. One is the sunrise and sunset of Qinglong Mountain. Qinglong Mountain is a lonely mountain that stretches from north to south. It is more than one kilometer long from north to south, but less than 500 meters wide from east to west. It is only 400 meters high and the mountain is not high, but it is very special. The special thing is that it is dangerous, steep, and strange. Because of this, it shows its unique beauty and magic.

But unfortunately, we didn’t really go to Qinglong Mountain for three days in Puzhehei. The first morning we wanted to go, but when we reached the bottom of the mountain, the sun rose, and we had to immediately raise the drone to take pictures. A group of sunrises felt that the angle of view was not too different from that of Qinglong Mountain, so they didn’t go up again.

Another place to go is the filming location of Sansei III Shili Peach Blossoms. There is really a feeling of “houses just like houses, good fields and beautiful ponds, road traffic, chickens and dogs hearing each other”, although the peach blossoms are fake when we go. Yes, but the people who came here enjoyed it and had a great time.

Another place I would recommend is Mao Mao Chong. Puzhehei consists of multiple villages. The most famous are Xianrendong Village and Puzhehei Village with more than 5,000 people. These two villages are almost people who go to Puzhehei. A must-visit village, and Mao Mao Chong is a village that many people don’t visit.

In fact, what is less known is that Mao Mao Chong is also one of the location filming locations of “Three Lives III Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms”. Although the most famous landscape inside is the lotus in summer, it is said that the lotus leaves are verdant and the colors are diverse and slim. Drifting through the boat, the fragrance is tangy, intoxicating, like being in poetry and painting.

But it was spring when we went, so I didn’t see the peach blossoms. The reason I recommend is to watch the sunset here. It is really beautiful. The wide lake and the undulating peaks add a lot to the sunset here.

It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Puzhehei Village to here. We came here after five o’clock and found a lake suitable for shooting. Except for a few friends with us, there were no tourists. There was really one Kind of the feeling of chartering.

Compared with the sunset at Qinglong Mountain, Mao Mao Chong’s perspective is a bit lower. We sat by the lake and waited quietly for the sun to sink to the west. The karst peaks in the distance were undulating, giving us a feeling a bit like Guilin, but also a bit like Guilin. Like Halong Bay in Vietnam.

When the sun slowly sinks, the color of the sky becomes denser and denser. Although there are no colored clouds, it is still very beautiful, because it is far away from pollution and the air permeability is excellent. The sun is like a jade plate exuding warm and radiance. , Sinking slowly in front of us, and our surroundings, including ourselves, were dyed golden by this afterglow.

It’s very suitable for taking photos, scenery, and portraits. Even the silhouettes are very beautiful. The important thing is that you don’t need any tickets here. You can enjoy yourself and take pictures with confidence. No one will come to grab a seat with you. It is really a very nice place. If you come to Puzhehei, you must not miss it.
