In 2020, various Internet rental bicycle operating companies will report a total of 844,000 vehicles to the Beijing Internet rental bicycle industry supervision and service platform.

Implement dynamic total control on the scale of shared bicycles
In order to create an open, fair, and orderly competitive industry development environment, Beijing implements dynamic total control on the scale of Internet rental bicycles. According to the changes in travel demand, the credit assessment results of enterprise operation service quality and administrative penalties, and the principle of favoring enterprises with good service quality credit, the dynamic adjustment of the scale of vehicle delivery will be implemented.
According to the city’s travel demand calculations, the total number of Internet rental bicycles in the central city area in 2021 will be controlled within 800,000. Combining the annual total scale and the results of the 2020 Internet rental bicycle operation service quality credit assessment results, each operating company promised to the Municipal Transportation Committee in writing that the upper limit of the scale of vehicles to be released to the central city in 2021, respectively: Meituan 400,000 vehicles, Kazakhstan 21 10,000 vehicles and 190,000 green oranges.
