On the eve of the semi-finals of Miss Universe 69th on the morning of May 15, Miss Khanh Van sent the audience a new set of photos in festive costumes, revealing the preparation for the upcoming important competitions.

Recently, Miss Khanh Van was delighted to receive a notification from the crew that her fanpage had reached the milestone of 1 million followers. Khanh Van shared: “It is the great love that the audience has for Van. Van does not know what to say other than thank you. Van will try her best at Miss Universe, not only for Van but also for everyone.” To celebrate the fanpage reaching 1 million followers, Khanh Van revealed a set of photos in evening gowns, which she took in Vietnam. Each costume has a meaning, promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people. The first design has a striking green color, the cup shape shows off the sexy bare shoulders of Miss Khanh Van. The costume is inspired by the sedge field in Vinh Long – attracting visitors with the poetic beauty of the harmoniously interwoven colors like a picture. This continues to be an evening set to help Miss Khanh Van show off her long slender legs. Design number 2 is a purple V-neck stone dress, hugging the body, incorporating a fringed stone pattern covering the skirt. With this design, Miss Khanh Van makes the most of her round 03, creating charm for every step. The design uses black tones, creating a solemn and aristocratic look with a bit of mystery for Khanh Van. Classic design, with long sleeves and high neckline but cut at the hem of the skirt, bringing the spirit of interference between classic and modern. Black is a color rarely used for evening dresses at competitions, but it will be an interesting highlight for Khanh Van if she wears this design for important activities or competitions at Miss Universe. The final evening gown was inspired by rice fields – an image familiar to generations of Vietnamese people. The designer cleverly attaches motifs to simulate the shape of a rice plant, embracing the wearer’s body curve, as flexible as a rice tree swaying in the field in the blooming season. From May 11 to 13, Khanh Van will participate in training activities. On the evening of May 13, she entered the Interview with the judges. On the morning of May 14 (at 7 a.m.), the National Costume competition took place. Semi-finals will take place on the morning of May 15 at 6 a.m., and the final will take place on the morning of May 17 at 7:00 a.m.
