Dell recently announced an upgrade to the XPS 15 and XPS 17 with the latest Nvidia GPU graphics.
After the upgrade, the XPS 15 can now be configured with an RTX 3050 Ti or 3050, while the XPS 17 can be upgraded to an RTX 3060 or 3050 Ti. Although it can’t be compared with a gaming laptop GPU, with a work machine like the XPS, this is a significant upgrade. The RTX 3060 in the XPS 17 is the 70-watt version. The XPS 15 and 17 have always been great laptops for video editing and other graphic-intensive content creation, and the RTX 30-series is sure to be the upgrade needed for this. In addition to graphics, the new Dell XPS laptops are also powered by new Intel processors, specifically the 11th generation Intel H45 Tiger Lake. The highest option can be up to Core i9, but The Core i5-11400H is also available as standard, featuring six cores, two more than the previous generation for more efficient multi-core performance in configurations without discrete graphics.
