Vinh Ancient Citadel was built in 1804 under Gia Long Dynasty and was built of earth. It was not until the 12th year of Minh Mang (1831) that the stone was built. Therefore, if lighting is installed, the night-time attractiveness of the Tien gate may be superior to that of the Left gate.
