With a cost of 1.5 billion VND, Mr. Cuong (Hanoi) gave his wife a Japanese-style house made of aluminum and glass. If you look at it with your eyes, it is easy to mistake the house made of wood.
Located in the suburban area of Hanoi, the Japanese-style garden house makes everyone admire.

From the outside, it is easy to think that the building is made of wood, but Mr. Cuong – the owner of the house revealed that the material is completely from bricks and aluminum and glass. The house with Koi pond, waterfall, beautiful bonsai looks like stepping out of a picture. This is a gift from Mr. Cuong to a special classmate – also a companion wife, sharing with him the sweetness of life. “My wife and I were classmates, fell in love and then got married. She has always been a solid support for me to develop a successful career like today. The house is not simply a gift but also my sincere intention to my wife,” he confided. The garden was researched and made by Mr. Cuong himself. Mr. Cuong said that his wife likes Japanese house designs with bonsai gardens and feng shui lakes. This style is simple but comfortable, suitable for all families, from many generations to few people. However, the problem is that Japanese-style garden houses are often made from wood, and the cost is high. Moreover, society is now promoting afforestation, limiting deforestation and using natural wood. If using wood, it is against the general trend of the community. In addition, making wooden houses is not durable with the humid weather in the North of Vietnam, large maintenance costs… After many days of pondering, he flashed the idea of using his own aluminum and glass business to build a house. The type of aluminum and glass he uses is characterized by the grain of walnut wood. No one would have thought that this elaborate garden house was made within a month. In the beginning of 2020, Hanoi social distancing due to the Covid-19 epidemic, he stayed at home, so he started to implement the plan. The foundation and frame of the house are built of bricks. Roof, interior, door made of 100% Eurovn high-grade aluminum with rosewood grain. Employees include 2 father and son, Mr. Cuong, 4 workers who both produce and make furniture. The garden was chosen and arranged by him. The project was completed within a month of starting work. The porch reads books and drinks Japanese-style tea. According to Mr. Cuong, although the project is not as beautiful as hiring an architect, it is the heart of the father and son, so they feel very proud. The total cost of the whole house is 1.5 billion VND, of which Eurovn high-grade aluminum materials for all doors and furniture is about 290 million VND. The floor he uses is imitation wood plastic flooring. The use of high-grade aluminum is more durable than wood, the service life can be up to 40-50 years. Spacious living room with kitchen and dining room. Homeowners use large aluminum and glass shelves and drawers to keep the house neat and uncluttered. The other sofa set also has a core of aluminum, glass and hardened steel. This material overcomes the disadvantages of sweating when it is hot, does not absorb heat, low maintenance costs, easy to repair, easy to clean. In the door part, homeowners use reflective glass doors and insulated vacuum box glass to reduce heat absorption into the house. “Compared to industrial wood cabinets, picomat plastic, using aluminum to make kitchen cabinets, utensils are much more durable and economical,” said Mr. Cuong. Aluminum and glass cabinets are as sophisticated as wood, bearing Japanese imprints through each design. The color is like real wood and the doors of the kitchen cabinets or wardrobes are not sagging or warped like ordinary wood, easy to clean, and not afraid of catching fire or burning. The bedroom has an area of 36m2, using high-grade aluminum with rosewood grain from doors, cabinets, shelves, beds, 3D aluminum ceilings. All materials are purchased locally. Aluminum and glass kitchen cabinets, stone countertops and precious ceramic display shelves. Doors, windows, plant pots are made of aluminum and glass, but they look like wood from afar. The bedroom is 36m2 wide with antique style. The bed is spacious, with cushions, connected to the dressing table into a block. The owner is a ceramic enthusiast, so there are display corners in the house. The wardrobe system has a ceiling, many compartments to help homeowners classify clothes easily.
