Hello flower season of dreams!

0

Into summer! Waking up early in the morning, the sun floods the room, the cicadas are humming a summer love song on the green leaves. Looking through the window, I suddenly caught sight of the phoenix flowers that were already glowing red, lighting up the whole street corner from time to time. Someone has compared, summer is like the brilliant youth of a person’s life. And for me, the phoenix flower is the season of dreams.
Phoenix trees are grown on many streets in Hanoi. Phuong is a flower without fragrance, but when we lightly bite the petals, we will feel the gentle sour taste stored on the lips. The red petals spread out, the base of the petals is often mixed with white and pink. Curved pistils reach out with beautiful dark red ovary. The brilliant colors of flowers in the blue summer sky seem to light up the flames of the dreams of youth.

Illustration Interestingly, when we go to schools, we will always see a few shady phoenix trees on the yard and the flower season often coincides with the end of the school year. When we were young, when we were on summer vacation, our children often invited each other to fly kites, kick soccer balls, catch ticks, throw canes… Even though we knew we would be scolded by our parents, we still tried to pick the phoenix flowers play. Our daughter often weaves phoenix petals into necklaces and bracelets to play princess and bride games. Boys cut the pistil to “fight” with each other like a cockfight, whoever’s pistil falls first loses. The clumsy games that used to be have now drifted into the fairyland. And surely, everyone has wished for a miracle to buy a ticket back to the memory station of the carefree days. Memories of the white shirt era are often associated with phoenix flowers. The boy in the class silently gave his girlfriend phoenix branches in the desk drawer. The girlfriend quietly pressed the pink phoenix petals in her boyfriend’s guestbook with nostalgic poems… On the day of parting with students, someone fluttered with the song “Phong Hong” in the recording- He advised: “Baskets of carts full of phoenix flowers / Where do you carry my summer / The bunch of phoenixes you hold is my age of eighteen / Age no one knows, silently first love”… A little That first pure vibration of life is forever stored in each person’s small and beautiful memory compartment. As a promise, the blooming phoenix signals the exam season and lights up the aspirations of youth. I will always remember the last summer of my student years. The whole group of friends cycled to the beach in the middle of the Red River to play. We talked about our plans for the upcoming college entrance exam and our career dreams. Before leaving, each person writes their wish on a piece of paper, folds it into a boat, and floats it on the river. The paper boats carrying our dreams floated on the waves of the Red River drifting far away in the sunset. Later, the harsh life divided us into many directions and there were some people who lost contact with each other. Sometimes, I secretly ask: “I don’t know, who can fulfill their youthful aspirations?”. There are dreams and ambitions that have passed because time does not wait for us. But, there are also people who burn themselves out for work. For them, being devoted to their dreams is happiness. Yes, phoenix still blooms but youth never returns. So we should not waste our youth on meaningless things. Every year, when it comes to summer, phoenix lights up the nostalgia for a time when white clothes were worn. I believe that, in each person’s memory domain, there are memories of a brilliant youth with youthful aspirations. Yes, a flower season is coming to the street.
