Mr. Vuong said that hydroponics is a convenient, clean and safe farming method in greenhouses. He can grow almost all kinds of trees and vegetables, including Vietnamese vegetables, in greenhouses in the middle of the cold snowy season in temperate regions. “Hydroponic plants grow without soil, so it is convenient for relocation, saving space, creating more cool, close to nature space for the family. More importantly and also the biggest motivation when creating my own garden is to create an environment that guides my daughter to know the origin of how to get the food she eats and she is cared for and harvested successfully. fruit,” said Mr. Vuong. Although only 7 years old, his daughter thanks to gardening with her father, so she knows almost all kinds of Vietnamese vegetables and fruits. The climate in the area where Mr. Vuong lives has 4 seasons, the harshest is winter, so keeping warm and stabilizing the garden’s temperature is not easy. He had to reuse plastic tubs of water and CO2 from the fireplace chimney to allow the greenhouse garden to retain heat during cold nights. Thanks to the careful care of the garden, Mr. Vuong always has Vietnamese vegetables and fruits for daily use, even very convenient during the time of social distancing against Covid-19. “I have been living in the US for 30 years now. Daughter loves Vietnamese vegetable and melon soup. The baby is conscious of eating a lot of green vegetables for each meal and his wife also often cooks Vietnamese meals, “said Mr. Vuong. Mr. Vuong’s vegetable garden not only serves clean food for his family, but is also shared with neighbors and friends.
