Intel’s new 11-generation H mobile processor recently launched is very promising, especially when facing AMD.

To deal with AMD, the 11th generation Intel H-series mobile processors are manufactured on the 10nm process, support up to 8 cores and 16 threads, support video memory direct connection technology and PCIe 4.0 technology with “5GHz high frequency”. Power consumption of Intel’s H45 processor is divided into 2 levels, OEM manufacturers can choose 35W or 45W version depending on needs. All systems are equipped with 32cu Xe cores as standard and the operating frequency is 1450MHz. The H45 product sequence and general specifications are as follows: i9-11980HK: 8 cores 16 threads, 2.6GHz base frequency, 2 cores / 4 cores / all-core boost frequency 5GHz / 4.9GHz / 4.5GHz, 24MB L3 cache; i9-11900H: 8 cores 16 threads, base frequency 2.5GHz, 2 cores / 4 cores / all cores Boost frequency 4.9GHz / 4.8GHz / 4.4GHz, 24MB L3 cache; i7-11800H: 8 cores 16 threads, base frequency 2.3GHz, 2 cores / 4 cores / full core Boost frequency 4.6GHz / 4.5GHz / 4.2GHz, 24MB L3 cache; i5-11400H: 6 cores 12 threads, base frequency 2.7GHz, 2 cores / 4 cores / all core Boost frequency 4.5GHz / 4.3GHz / 4.1GHz, 12MB L3 cache; i5-11260H: 6 cores 12 threads, base frequency 2.6GHz, 2 cores / 4 cores / all cores Boost frequency 4.4GHz / 4.2GHz / 4GHz, 12MB L3 cache. The H45 series processors have 20 PCIe 4.0 channels, integrated Thunderbolt 4 technology, and support for the Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E wireless network card. It also has dual eDP outputs to optimize power consumption. The former direct connect technology of processor video memory is also present on the H45 series, allowing the processor to access all data in the onboard video memory at once. In addition, the memory frequency support of the H45 processor reaches 3200MHz. The most advanced version, 11980HK is a version that can be overclocked freely. You can customize how often it works using the Intel XTU software. Intel says the H45 series processors support the latest third-party discrete graphics, supporting either FHD 360Hz displays or 4K 120Hz displays. The single-core performance of the new generation of Tiger Lake-H processors can be up to 19% higher than the performance of Comet Lake-H. This is the most powerful processor for laptops. When compared to AMD, Intel claims that the gaming performance of laptops equipped with the new H45 is 20% higher on average than AMD when all systems “maximize performance”. Ingel says there are already more than 80 high-performance laptops that will use the H45 series processors. Intel also shipped 1 million H45 series processors to OEMs during the launch. Most laptops equipped with the H45 series will be revealed soon. According to Zaeke
