Then select the settings and choose light, dark or the system default to customize the theme. Microsoft product manager Sourab Nagpal said this is a feature that has been requested by many customers. This mode is well-received by many people because it provides comfort when reading documents and working on mobile devices. Microsoft says it will roll out dark mode for Office on Android in the coming weeks, so it may not be available to all users right away. Dark mode was updated by Micorosoft for iOS operating system last year along with the release of integrated Office.
