Director and screenwriter Lee Yong Joo returns to the big screen after the success of hit romantic drama ‘Architecture 101’ (2012), which portrays human fear of death and immortality aspirations through a human clone in the movie ‘Seobok – The Clone’.
Just like the plot of other typical action movies, the movie Seobok – The human clone opens the story when Ki Hun (Gong Yoo), a retired agent with a terminal illness and only one year to live. He is tasked with secretly protecting the first human clone, Seobok (Park Bo Gum) to a safe place.
During the move, Ki Hun and Seobok are chased by a group of agents and Seoin, the company behind the cloning project, uses it as a tool to help humanity become immortal and dominate the world.
