With its unique design grille, SAIC Roewe Jing is one of the most impressive concepts at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show. This Chinese SUV was inspired by the ’tilefish’.

Today, car design trends are becoming more and more transformative and impressive, especially with concept cars that are not subject to any restrictions. At the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show, this is clearly shown through a new SAIC Roewe Jing 2022 concept from SAIC’s sub-brand, Jing. The SAIC Roewe Jing SUV means “whale” or “whale”, and the grille has a sophisticated, impressive design that is modeled after the mouth of the largest animal on the planet. In addition to the unique grille, the front end also has other notable details such as thin headlights, decorative LED strips and daytime running lights in the side corners. Meanwhile, the tail section of the SUV is also as bold as the first. Through the official photos here, the rear end is quite short with the roof sloping sharply to the rear. At the same time, it also has some sporty details such as X-shaped light clusters and thin light bars, extending to the full width. The side of the car shows the presence of a set of star-shaped wheels, hidden door handles Unfortunately, with the exception of the photos here, we don’t have much other information about Roewe Jing. All we know is that this new concept follows the Chinese brand’s “emotional rhythm” design philosophy. Anyway, this is also an impressive concept car, and hopefully SAIC can put it into production and still keep the grille “fish” extremely toxic.
