Samsung Electronics Co. On April 26, South Korea announced that its cheap smartphone Galaxy M12 will be sold in the domestic market from April 28.
The technology “giant” is aiming to expand mobile phone sales in the domestic market with more price-competitive models.
Accordingly, Galaxy M12 will be officially distributed in the Korean market through online sales channels for 198,000 won (180 USD). Previously, the M12 was also launched in several markets including Vietnam, India and the UK. Galaxy M12 smartphone with 6.5 inch screen comes with 4 rear camera design, including 48 megapixel main camera (MP), 5MP ultra wide angle camera, 2MP macro lens and depth sensor 2MP. In addition, this smart phone also owns an 8MP camera on the front. In addition to Samsung’s Exynos 850 processor, the phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. However, Korean customers do not have a chance to choose the color because the M12 is distributed in the domestic market only in black. Last year, Samsung dominated the Korean smartphone market with a 65% share, followed by Apple Inc., according to market researcher Counterpoint Research. with 20% and LG Electronics Inc. with 13%.
