Tesla customers in the US and Norway markets are suing the popular electric car company for using software to limit the battery capacity and charging current of Model S and X.
Strength of Tesla electric car is the ability to upgrade the vehicle’s software over a network connection, similar to what today’s smartphone models do. However, not every software upgrade that the US automaker has released also brings benefits to users. Recently, a court in Norway has declared Tesla brand penalty due to the limitation of the vehicle’s charging current as well as the vehicle battery capacity.
