The Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB) said that the TBM tunneling machine duo named ‘Speed’ and ‘Cheeky’ were designed specifically for the urban railway project No. 3, section Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station has completed the test and commissioning.
Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Deputy Head of MRB Department, said that the TBM tunneling machine, manufactured by Herrenkecht (Germany), has a length of more than 90 meters, weighs about 850 tons, enough to hold equipment and operators.
