In mid-March 2021, I participated in a Sichuan-Tibet line photography group, starting from Chengdu to Nyingchi to shoot peach blossoms. It took 15 days and cost 16,800. The content of this article is the third day.
I arrived at Jinchuan and Danba two days ago to see Lihua and take pictures of Tibetan Village. Many people would say, “What kind of photography tour is this? Isn’t it just an ordinary tourist route? Is it worth the money?”
It is indeed a traditional tourist route, and it has always been crowded with tourists in the scenic area. On the third day, it entered the plateau and entered the real Tibetan area. It also entered the “Black Rock City”, which is not visited by ordinary tourists. After a difficult journey, we arrived at the best location to take pictures of the Gongga Snow Mountain. Unfortunately, the weather was not good, and the ideal sunset photo of the snow mountain was not taken. The so-called “Black Rock City” is about 25 kilometers away from Xindu Bridge. It is said to be a mysterious religious shrine in Zhusang Township. The black scripture stones all over the mountain are built by lamas who practiced locally in the early years. Some people say that this mountain was a fortress for battles between tribes 300 years ago, and now there are only desolate ruins. The road in Black Rock City is particularly difficult for us. Ordinary cars or SUVs can’t work. Only high-floor off-road vehicles can barely pass and travel very slowly. Usually only photographers or outdoor people come here, and most tourists can’t get there. In addition to shooting the King of Shu Mountain, Gongga Snow Mountain, it is also a good place to shoot the starry sky and star trails. 1. In the morning in Zangzhai, Zhonglu, we waited hard for the sunrise. The biggest difference for the photography team is to get up early, because the hour before and after sunrise is the best light, and the scenery film is basically this time. The biggest advantage of the photography team is that the team leader knows where to shoot the best and can accurately reach the shooting location. If you are shooting sunrise at Zhonglu Zangzhai, there is a viewing platform, but you need to take up the place earlier. There are many photographers here. For those who want to shoot large movies with a tripod, they must be in place in advance. And I haven’t worn a tripod for many years. First, I am not very interested in landscape films, and there is no concept of “blockbuster”. The other is that the camera has a good sense of height now, and I can use a lens with a larger caliber, which can basically shoot. On the third day of self-driving in Western Sichuan, I shot at Zhonglu Zangzhai early in the morning. I waited until after nine o’clock before going down the mountain. 2. Again recommend Lao Mo’s house in Zhonglu Zangzhai. We drove to Danba in western Sichuan. The leader Lao Xu took us to the farmhouse of Lao Mo’s family. The custom here is that accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, and the usual price is 100 yuan a day. In fact, there are already many accommodations in the Zangzhai Village in Zhonglu now, and it is very convenient, while Lao Mo’s house is relatively inside, which is a little bit more. The advantage of Lao Mo’s house is that the price is low, and the whole family is very good. If you want to take pictures or play here, you can also show you the way. In short, it feels very comfortable. This is their breakfast. This is their dinner (there are three meat dishes). Lao Mo’s family is from Jiarong Tibetan, and the style of food is similar to that of Han people. The taste is very good, and everyone likes to eat it. Lao Mo’s family is very good. When we were leaving, he heard that we were going to the plateau and gave us a pack of “round root slices”. The old man is not good at words, but the family is sincere and enthusiastic. Love this family… 3. On the third day of self-driving on the Sichuan-Tibet line, we started to get close to the snow-capped mountains. In the morning after shooting at Zangzhai on the middle road of Danba, I started walking along the canyon Xianbamei direction. After walking out of the canyon, I saw the first complete snow-capped mountain Yala Snow Mountain, which is also the sacred mountain in the hearts of Tibetans. But this snow-capped mountain is not our goal. Then we arrived at Tagong and then at Xinduqiao. Rest here for a few minutes, and then go to Black Rock City. This section of the road is a simple road dug by the locals. It is particularly difficult to walk. The off-road vehicles are also cautious. The road is irregular and difficult to find. Fortunately, the leader, Lao Xu, has come many times. Yes, very familiar. We are going to see Gongga Snow Mountain, the area around Heishicheng is the best place to take sunset photos of Gongga Snow Mountain. Although it was cloudy when we set off, we still saw the king of Shushan, the whole picture of Gongga Snow Mountain. Unfortunately, we did not see the beautiful sunny Jinshan. Old Xu said that this season is already good, and it won’t be perfect until winter. That’s beauty! It was past ten o’clock in the night when I got down the mountain to the hotel… 4. How much does it cost to eat a meal in Sichuan and Tibet? Yesterday at noon we came to Xinduqiao. The leader Xu took us to the familiar “Tea Horse Road” hotel for dinner. He said that the food here was very delicious. As expected, everyone was very satisfied. The rice place also has such a delicious meal. how’s the price? I took a look at the menu, and the average talent is more than 40 yuan, which is very cost-effective. In fact, when entering Tibetan areas, in addition to playing, everyone is more concerned about food and accommodation. Now the conditions in Tibetan areas have greatly improved. Food and beverages have developed rapidly, and there are reasons for competition, so they are getting better and better, but the better ones need to be discovered what…… 5. Stay at Xinduqiao and experience high altitude Xinduqiao is an important stop of our trip, here is mainly to take photos of Gongga Snow Mountain in sunshine. Teacher Xu, who led the team, said that he has been to Black Rock City many times to shoot, and he has shot many good films in winter, but it is luck to see this season… I actually saw it, but it was cloudy, impenetrable, and no sunlight was taken. The shooting location here is close to 4800 meters above sea level. It was very cold at night, and finally descended to the Xinduqiao lodging at 3,600 meters above sea level. I did not expect that there is a hot wall in the house price. You can design the temperature by yourself, directly to 27 degrees, and the temperature will soon be So it’s so warm… At high altitude, there will be high antipathy. Some people start to have a headache. Old Xu repeatedly asked everyone not to take a bath, but some people still didn’t listen. After washing, he found out that he had a cold in the morning… It is troublesome to catch a cold in the plateau, it is easy to cause high reaction… We live on the edge of line 318 of Xinduqiao, and we started to take line 318 today… This hotel is called Meiyu Hotel. It is newly opened and the facilities are not bad. There is a simple breakfast. The off-season price is 120 yuan (standard room).
