Viettel Cyber Center (a member of Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group) on May 11 announced that it had officially operated a high-performance computing system at the Viettel Data Center, which is also the center of the Viettel Cyberspace. the biggest center of Vietnam today.
This is a turning point that helps Viettel improve its computing capacity to build and operate more complex artificial intelligence models in a short time, when the demand for computation increases sharply in both quantity and scale according to the target, By 2030, Vietnam will become a center of innovation, development of solutions and applications of artificial intelligence in the ASEAN region and around the world.

This system also trains continuous model improvement, shortening the time to improve the quality of artificial intelligence models. Supercomputers are invested with computational acceleration technologies, switching devices and synchronous software, similar to those of the world’s top 500 supercomputers. Putting the system into operation marks a new development step for Viettel in realizing Decision 127/QD-TTg dated January 26, 2021 of the Prime Minister promulgating the national strategy on research and development. development and application of artificial intelligence by 2030.
