Inside the wallet were some old photos, the ticket stub of a 1973 Grateful Dead concert, and a California driver’s license that expired in 1976. Colleen Distin’s name on the driver’s license, so following this information, Mr. Tom Stevens shared and searched online. However, he also found a lot of useful information. His owner, Loanne Wullaert, suggested he could use the theater’s Facebook page to post a search for the wallet’s owner. Tom Stevens was very surprised when the post received the attention of netizens and shared widely, the information finally reached Distin, a long-time resident of Ventura. Colleen Distin is a woman who lost her wallet while going to the theater in 1975. She called to report the loss of her wallet to the theater but received a notification that no one had found her wallet. The owner of the wallet couldn’t believe that one day he would get the item back after 46 years of dropping it. She is happy because in her wallet there are still old photos with many memories in it. Colleen Distin said: “I’m very emotional. I don’t think I will find the wallet one day, it’s like I am going back to my past, a meaningful trip through time. It’s amazing, there are people honest out there, willing to do whatever it takes to return your valuables.”
