The design competition took place and I did not hesitate to show this idea, more specifically for a national costume: silk silk weaving a long dress. Silk weaving has deeply penetrated the Vietnamese mind, containing and crystallizing multi-dimensional values from culture, art to economy. “Ken Em” brings the story from silkworms to Vietnamese clothes, upholding the meticulous virtues and patient spirit of Vietnamese people despite the ups and downs of the times. The inside of the cocoon depicts the bustling silk weaving industry, through the reels and pure white silk reels; Ao dai appears silk and smooth, is the combination of much effort and enthusiasm, carrying the message of continuation and development of a Vietnamese craft village story. . How long does it take for you and your team to complete Ken Em? + The entire work applies the art of knitting and binding by hand, and is white in color, so every stage must be meticulous and thorough. Miss Khanh Van and designer Khoa Lo. Photo: SANG DAO As beautiful and gentle Khanh Van is on stage, behind the scenes Van is very strong and fierce, saying that she immediately started working, inferring and analyzing the problem very closely. All the girls are special, especially Van and Khoa, she is special because of her friendliness, extremely positive energy and Khanh Van’s heart is very warm. Anyone who has met Van will love her for that! . But a lot of people say Khanh Van is “pale”… + I affirm: Van is not pale. Photo: SANG DAO The story I will always remember is that while Van was taking pictures of the national costume, accidentally fell, and the blood soaked the pillow part of the national costume. The fall was so painful, but Van kept saying it was okay, telling everyone to keep going, Van also asked Khoa if the blood stains would come out. She is really focused on her work and knows what she is doing. Thank you Khoa Lu for today’s chat! With the meaning of honoring Vietnam’s silk weaving, Ken Em was researched by the author using light, flying materials, combined with foreign marcame tying techniques. The dominant white tone on the form of ao dai helps Khanh Van not only have flexible and skillful steps, showing the grace and elegance of the traditional Vietnamese woman.
