Father’s Childhood…

0

Instead of Games online, Tiktok, Facebook, if possible, I hope someday, you will take off your sandals and wade into the mud with your bare feet to try to catch snails and crabs…
My father’s childhood was spent wandering, following the cow’s tail around the countryside. From Chanh garden, Temple dune, jackfruit dunes, to Dat mountain, Nang mountain… (Nghi Son town, Thanh Hoa) let her hair burn in the sun.

My father’s childhood was spent wandering around the countryside. The game with them is simply fighting, confetti, chicken grass, playing cards, fighting ticks, piggybacking, land cannons, river bathing, fish foul… More naughty, dad followed us to pick grapefruit, guava, baked potatoes, peanuts to eat. In the countryside, the older children teach the children to swim. The beaches, banks, and fields are deeply imprinted in my mind, until now, every time I have the opportunity to pass by, all the memories keep coming back. Children’s childhoods do not know if they are lucky or unlucky, there are no more popular games (adults still say that children now have no childhood). It has been replaced by Online Games, Tiktok, Facebook… Although there is a direction for children to explore, it is certainly in a different, very different direction! I hope that because of that, your hearts are poor in the ability to feel. Every time I go back to my grandmother, in the vast fields, in the windy afternoons, I hope that you are sharp enough to feel a little country spirit, even if only through the prism of children’s eyes. If possible, at some point, you should take off your sandals and wade into the mud with your bare feet to try to catch snails and crabs… I hope you feel a little country spirit… I just want your hearts to be nourished by simple, rustic but sincere things, not the hustle and bustle of life! The rest, when born, life will teach you. Just prepare your mind and accept it, everything will be fine, baby!
